Location: Krosis Temple – Inner Sanctum

The room was plunged into a deafening silence after the destruction of the glowing platform. The stone walls seemed to tremble, and for a brief moment, it felt like the entire temple was holding its breath.

Ruby, panting from the effort, stood over the now-ruined symbols. The Wardens around them staggered, their hammers wavering in their hands as the energy that had been coursing through them flickered out.

"Uh-oh," Deadpool quipped, twirling his katana in one hand. "Did we just blow up their Wi-Fi?"

Weiss, still keeping her eyes on the remaining Wardens, shot Deadpool a withering look. "Not the time, Deadpool."

Ruby narrowed her eyes at Balance McBroodyface, who stood at the forefront, visibly enraged. "What's going on? You were drawing power from that thing, weren't you?"

Balance McBroodyface's voice, once cold and emotionless, now sounded more strained. "You do not understand. The balance you disrupted—every decision you've made—has brought Remnant to the brink. The Wardens are the ones who have been maintaining order, ensuring that the forces of chaos do not tip the scales forever."

"That's what you think?" Blake demanded, her voice sharp. "You don't get to decide what's right for the world. We're the ones living in it!"

The Warden leader's eyes blazed under their mask, their hands trembling with barely contained fury. "Your ignorance is your downfall. You think that by defeating the Grimm and stopping Cinder, you are saving Remnant. But you are not. You are pushing it toward its ultimate destruction."

Yang stepped forward, her fists still crackling with energy. "We won't let you twist the truth to fit your narrative. You're not our judge!"

Balance McBroodyface swung their hammer toward the ground, sending out a shockwave that knocked Team RWBY off balance. The air around them grew heavier, thick with a force that felt like it was trying to crush them.

Deadpool jumped in, slicing the air with his katanas. "Alright, grumpy—let's take this outside. You can't seriously think that we are the problem here. You guys are the ones trying to play god with all this 'balance' nonsense."

With a snarl, Balance McBroodyface swung again, but this time, Deadpool was quicker. He dodged and retaliated with a well-timed cut, leaving a shallow mark on the Warden's armor.

"We've been dealing with this balance crap for years," Deadpool continued, shrugging. "And you know what? It doesn't work. The world's messy, chaotic, and that's why we're here—trying to make it better. Not perfect. Just better."

Ruby, recovering from the shockwave, stood tall. "You say we're messing everything up, but we're fighting to protect the people of Remnant! What are you really trying to protect?"

Balance McBroodyface's voice grew colder. "The Wardens protect what is necessary to prevent complete annihilation. We are the necessary force of order."

"But at what cost?" Blake shot back. "You think keeping people under control will save them? It's not right."

Yang clenched her fists. "And we're not just going to stand around and let you fix things the way you think they should be!"

The True Nature of the Wardens

There was a pause, as though the Wardens were considering the arguments. For a brief moment, Balance McBroodyface looked as if they were going to respond, but before they could speak, the ground beneath them cracked open with a deafening roar.

The temple seemed to shift, the stone walls groaning as a new, unfamiliar energy filled the air. Strange symbols began to glow beneath the cracks, their light pulsing with increasing intensity.

"What the hell is happening now?" Deadpool asked, eyeing the temple's sudden transformation.

"The temple… is reacting," Ozpin's voice echoed through the chamber. "You've disrupted more than just the Wardens. This place is a nexus of ancient power, a site where the very fabric of Remnant's order is tied together."

"Great," Deadpool muttered, spinning his katana. "Another ominous secret that we didn't need to know about."

Ruby, her eyes darting to the cracks in the floor, spoke quickly. "What's going to happen if we don't stop this?"

"The consequences of disturbing this balance are grave," Ozpin continued, his voice urgent. "If the Wardens are left to regain their power, they will not just seek to restore order. They will impose their vision of the world on everyone, no exceptions. And they will do whatever it takes to ensure that nothing disrupts it again."

Blake stepped closer to the others, her brow furrowed in thought. "But if we don't stop them, they'll just keep controlling everything."

Yang scowled. "How do we even stop them, though? They're too powerful."

Ruby's eyes lit up as she made a connection. "Wait! The platform. It was controlling them! If we can disrupt the temple's core, maybe we can stop this entire system."

"We'll have to get through the Wardens first," Weiss said, her voice steady but worried. "And whatever's happening here doesn't look like it's going to be a friendly chat."

The Final Battle

Balance McBroodyface raised their hammer, their eyes blazing with fury. "You are a threat to everything we've worked for. Your meddling will not go unpunished."

With a flash of movement, the Wardens lunged, their hammers crackling with energy. Team RWBY, now in sync, dove into action, with Yang charging forward and throwing a flurry of punches at one of the Wardens.

Weiss conjured several glyphs, freezing one of the Wardens in place long enough for Blake to land a critical strike with her sword, sending the enemy crashing into the stone floor.

Ruby, scanning the temple, saw the glowing symbols beneath them begin to pulse once more. It was as if the temple was trying to retaliate against their interference.

"Deadpool!" Ruby shouted. "We need to get to the core of the temple. Help us clear a path!"

"On it!" Deadpool yelled, flipping through the air and slicing through a group of Wardens with his katanas. He let out a maniacal laugh. "Who needs balance when you've got this much fun on your side?"

With Deadpool cutting through the chaos, Ruby dashed toward the heart of the temple, where a massive stone structure stood. The glow from the symbols beneath her feet intensified as she neared it.

"Ruby, wait!" Yang yelled, but Ruby was already at the center, staring down at the glowing runes that powered the temple.

Without thinking, Ruby swung Crescent Rose down, smashing the ground beneath her. The runes exploded in a cascade of energy, sending shockwaves throughout the temple.

The Aftermath

The temple shook violently, the cracks widening as a deep rumbling sound filled the air. For a moment, everything went dark.

Then, as quickly as it had started, the chaos stopped. The rumbling subsided, and the oppressive energy in the air dissipated.

Ruby, panting and exhausted, stood among the ruins of the shattered platform. The Wardens, now powerless, staggered but did not attack. Their glowing hammers dimmed, and their once-immovable stance seemed to waver.

Balance McBroodyface, their face obscured by the mask, spoke one last time. "You may have won today. But the balance will never be truly broken. It will return. And when it does, you will face us again."

With that, the Wardens retreated into the shadows, leaving Team RWBY and Deadpool in the silence that followed.

Ruby let out a relieved breath. "Is it over?"

"For now," Ozpin said, appearing behind them. "But this is far from the end. The Wardens will not forget what you've done here."

Deadpool, wiping his sword clean, chuckled. "Well, at least we've got a little time before the next apocalypse, right?"

Ruby nodded, looking out at the ruins of the temple. "We'll be ready for whatever comes next."
