Lievin and Amiens
The heroes have arrived at the commune of Lievin and they will be considering this a short trip since they will take a rest here before they leave for their next stop, Amiens. They first visited parts of commune with the Olympic Flame, which was the notable and worthy parts they would consider visiting. They admired the belfries in Douai and went through the spectacular Les Jardins de Sericourt; giving them new experiences to remember.
During their rest day, they had a lot of fun. The heroes and the Phryges tried the pancakes they made and baked, with praises heaped onto the Phryges. They were full of joy and were hoping to amaze the people in Paris with their pancakes and flipping skills. It was all at the Aire-sur-la-Lys where they stopped to recharge before they can continue their journey across Amiens.
The next day, our heroes set off to Amiens via the train station. When they arrived at Amiens, they headed off towards the Les Hortillonnages, the floating gardensin the centre of town. Next, they admired the gothic cathedral of Amiens. Finally, they decided to stop by at Jules Verne House. While exploring, the heroes had another surprise again like they did previously, with the apparition of Jules Verne appearing before them.
"Jules Verne?" asked Gaulois.
"Precisely, do you think you heroes are prepared enough?" asked Jules Verne's ghost.
"Well, I think we are half-prepared. What's the main reason we need to improve even further?" asked Madeline.
"Surely. The world or the universe might be vast as 20,000 leagues under the sea; just imagine the possibilities you will see if you are daring enough to take the risks by yourself! Many villains are out there becoming stronger and smarter than you think, and be sure to get past them as part of your trials and tribulations! The hardest path is the right one!" After that, the apparition vanished and left the heroes pondering what areas they can improve on.
While exiting the house, the heroes decided to settle down and rest before they could leave tomorrow for Le Havre, until a truck zoomed past them and snatched Madeline and the Phryges with a mechanical arm! The heroes were shocked and ran over to see who it was. It was an evil buzzard and his canary henchman trying to get away scot-free with their recent misdeeds!
Boss – Buzz Buzzard and Tweaky Weaky
"The money's on us! You will never catch us now because we have got the girl and the little hats to sell for our bosses Madame LaCroque and her cohorts!" Buzz Buzzard shouted.
"Oh yeah?" shouted Asterix.
"Let's get them!" shouted Gaulois. The heroes boarded another truck they found and chased after Buzz Buzzard in order to save Madeline and the Phryges. Tweaky Weaky and Buzz Buzzard threw random objects at the heroes in order to slow them down, while the heroes dodged and advanced towards Buzz and Tweaky.
"They are gaining on us, boss!" whined Tweaky.
"Just keep throwing!" demanded Buzz. "We are gonna slow them down until they are out of sight!"
Just then, the truck tripped over and out came Buzz Buzzard, Tweaky Weaky, Madeline and the Phryges. Asterix, Oggy, Gaulois, the Smurfs, Jack and Olivia quickly saved Madeline and some of the Phryges with perfect timing, while some of the Phryges landed safely. Buzz Buzzard and Tweaky Weaky were on their truck, badly injured. They saw the heroes glaring at them until Oggy threw a bomb at them, causing the truck to explode.
"You birdbrains are going to pay for this!" Buzz Buzzard shouted when he was sent flying into the air when his truck exploded. Tweaky Weaky just shrugged and did not know what to do, and they disappeared into the sky with a twinkle.
Having vanquished their threats that stood in their way, our heroes were triumphant enough to inch closer to Paris. The City of Lights may be far away, but our heroes are more determined to be there and square. Le Havre now awaits them on the road to the City of Lights and Love.
