Loud n' Secret.
Chapter 03.
It has been a few hours since Luna Loud and Sam Sharp explained to Lincoln and the others the truth that they are the real parents of Lincoln Loud. Right now, the rest of the Loud's are now back from their after-school activities and are glad to be back home.
They open the door, and step into the living room. "Ahh! Nothing like a good after school jog to get your blood pumping" replied Lynn Loud Jr. She then kicks off her shoes. "And now I can finally let my dogs out." Lynn takes her place on the couch and scratches her feet.
This grosses out Lola Loud. "Ack, gross! Lynn! Nobody and I mean nobody around here wants to smell your icky smelly feet!"
Lana Loud on the other hand, smells the air and she likes it. "I don't know what you're complaining about, Lola. The air doesn't smell that bad."
Lola scoffs. "Of course, you would like it." She then uses a perfume on herself. "At least I managed to win the pageant today, so eat on that Lindsay Sweetwater!" She then laughs maniacally, which freaks out Lana and Lynn.
Leni has some shopping bags, and she looks at what she bought. "Todays sale at the mall was totes amazing. They had so many brand-new outfits too, and now I have like some new ideas for a new fashion line!"
"Literally got that right, Leni" replied Lori, and she went to the mall as well. "And I got me a brand-new look for my next date with Bobby."
"Well, me and Benny have some new jokes for one of our upcoming comedy gigs" replied Luan. "And it'll make everyone "Stand up" and laughing their heads off to our comedy!" She then laughs at her own jokes, but the others don't laugh at this and are more annoyed, but Lynn Sr. laughs at the joke.
"Good one sweetie."
Lucy then speaks, which startles everyone. "The meeting today with the Young Morticians Club went well. We had our usual meeting at the cemetery, but we're planning to have our next one at an abandoned movie theater, and we're hoping it's haunted."
"Dude, can you stop appearing out of nowhere" replied Lynn Jr.
"Sigh, sorry sis. But what I have is a true talent, a Goth perk that you wouldn't even understand."
Just then, they see Luna, Sam, Lincoln and Jordan come down stairs. "Hey kids, so how was your day?" asked Lynn Sr.
"It was a pretty good one, pop-star" replied Luna. "Just chilling here at the house with my babe."
Lori smiles when she sees Jordan Rosato. "Hey there Jordan, are you and my brother just hanging out here, or planning on when you'll be having another date?" This makes Leni giggle.
Jordan smirks. "We're going to go on a date when the time comes, but I came here to help out Lincoln and it involves finding something that we need to show due next week Friday, and also Clyde helped out."
"And where is Clyde anyway?" asked Luan.
Leni looks around confused. "Wait, Clyde is here? Where is he? Is he invisible?" They all remain silent, and they forgot that Leni is not the sharpest tool in the shed, and they doubt she would understand what that means.
"No Leni" replied Lincoln. "Clyde is not here with us, he's at the bathroom."
Then Lynn Sr. asks. "So, what's the big assignment all about, kiddo?"
Lincoln feels nervous, but a hand on his shoulder from Luna makes him smile. He then explains. "Telling everyone my birth story. We came here, to search for my baby book and know more." Hearing this makes Lori, Luan and Lynnard Loud silent, while everyone is confused why those three look shocked.
They then look to Luna and Sam. "We told them, everything" replied Sam. "He found the boxes, we showed them the video, and now Lincoln knows the truth of how he was born, and what happened."
Then Luna speaks. "I think it's best for everyone to know the truth as well."
Lynn Sr. sighs and he sees the concerned looks from Luan and Lori, they knew it would come one day but they didn't think it would be today. Then Clyde shows up from the bathroom. "Alright, I'm back. What did I miss?"
(Outside the House.)
Vanzilla arrives, and with Rita, Lisa and Lily. Rita has been super quiet, and super pissed off throughout the whole ride back home, after she found out about the notifications. She didn't want all of this to happen, and she wants everything back to the way she wants it to be.
Lisa is confused and curious. "Mother, there is something bothering you and you have been like this since we left the Royal Woods Service Center." Even Lily agrees, and she doesn't know what's happening. But then she goes back to playing with her teddy bear. Lily tends to not pay attention, and just be herself and enjoy her own thing.
Lisa then asks. "What seems to be the problem mother?"
Rita sighs. "This notification is what's the problem." She then shows Lisa what is on her phone.
Lisa is surprised, and she sighs. "Well, this is very concerning indeed, mother. Now, why would Luna and Sam go on to make a comeback concert together?"
Rita sighs and she looks ticked off. "The only reason they would do this, is because they told Lincoln everything. They told him the truth that they are his real parents."
Lisa doesn't seem fazed. "Well, I cannot quite say that I am not surprised about this. I figured that Lincoln would eventually find out the truth, but not at this moment. I question why they would tell him, or perhaps if he asked them about something."
Rita then grabs her phone back. "And what's why we're back here, and we're going to find out! After that, we are putting things back to the way they are! To the way it should always be, to the way I want it!"
This concerns Lisa. "Ummm, mother. If I may, perhaps we should allow Luna and Sam to finally be the one true parents of Lincoln." But this makes Rita silent, and then she looks towards Lisa.
"What did you say?"
Lisa then clears her throat. "As you should know and recall, Luna and Sam have both been keeping a close eye on Lincoln ever since he was a baby, and they have been watching him grow up and helping him with some problems. When you forced—I mean, had me turn them into children age, they still continued what they promised they would commit to. So, we should just—"
But then Lisa is shocked when she sees the stern glare from Rita. "Lisa Marie Loud. What I am doing, is for the greater good, and for the sake of this family! Luna is not, and she never will be a good mother! She doesn't have what it takes to raise a child, because I will always be a better mother than her! That's why I did what I did! Lincoln deserves a perfect mother, and that perfect mother is me! And it won't be Luna, and never will be her!"
They then step out of Vanzilla, and Lily waits to be picked up, but then Rita kneels down in front of Lisa. "Are you really questioning me about what I'm doing, Lisa?"
This side of Rita is making Lisa scared. "N-No, not at all… I was just, thinking of what would make Luna, Lincoln and Sam happy."
"They are happy! With me as their mother!" Rita then calms down. "Lisa, I am the one in charge here, and you do as I say, and when I say it! Remember what happened last time when you disobeyed me?!"
Lisa looks down and she nods. "Y-Yes mother." Lisa still remembers what had happened.
Lisa attempted to turn Luna and Sam back to their rightful age with this special aging ray that she managed to make, but Rita caught her red handed, and she used the ray on her, and it turned Lisa into a 4-year-old girl, and then Rita destroyed the device, and she altered the memories of her family, to make them believe Lisa is one of the younger Louds in the family.
"You want to go back to your original age, right?" asked Rita with a stern tone.
Lisa nods and is nervous. "I do, mother."
"Then you follow my lead, and do as I say, or I will turn you into the same age as Lily! Do you understand me young lady?!" asked Rita with a stern and angry glare.
Lisa nods and is frightened. "Y-Yes, understood mother. Crystal clear."
"Good." Rita then picks up Lily from her chair, and they head to the front door. "Now, let's get inside and find out what the heck happened."
Rita and Lisa enter the house, and they see the rest of the family are in the living room, and they are shocked beyond their mind, and also confused. Luna and Sam told them everything, the truth about the predicament they are in.
"So, all this time, Luna and Sam are the real parents of Lincoln?" asked Lola. "That is just, unbelievable."
"I am so confused right now" replied Lana. "I mean, I'm still trying to understand this."
"No wonder why Luna and Lincoln are always so close, and hanging out a lot" replied Lynn Jr. "They're mother and son, now it makes sense!"
"Sigh, I kinda figured that the sibling bond they had was more of a mother son bond" replied Lucy. "the universe works in such mysterious and odd ways."
"Wait, so does that mean Linky is not our brother?" asked Leni.
Lori sighs. "Leni, you already knew that Lincoln was never our brother, you just keep forgetting."
Rita then clears her throat. They all notice her, and Lisa. "so, what's going on here guys?"
"Mom, we told Lincoln the truth" replied Luna. "We told him that me and Sam, are his real parents and who he truly is."
"Oh, really?" asked Rita, and she makes a fake smile, well she tries to force a smile on her face. "But, I thought that you weren't planning to tell him until you and Sam graduate from High School? Why would you tell him this now, girls?"
"Because Mrs. Johnson gave us an assignment that is due next week Friday, Mrs. Loud" replied Clyde, and then he continues. "The assignment is to tell the whole class of our birth story. Jordan and I already know our story, and we went to help Lincoln with his."
Jordan then continues. "We went with him to find his baby book, but instead we found it empty and then we found the box with the photos and other stuff, and then Luna and Sam told us everything, the whole dang truth."
"Luna and Sam, they showed us the video and told us everything of what had happened, and how they became younger again" replied Lincoln, and then he looks to the two teenagers. "and to be honest, I am glad to finally know the truth, that they are my real parents."
Everyone smiles hearing this and are moved, but Rita is pissed off. 'Damn it! I knew I should've thrown that stupid box away! I should have thrown it in the trash long ago!' Then she asks. "But, what about this notification I got on my phone about reuniting the band? What's that about, Lunes?"
"Oh, that right there would be all Lincoln's idea" replied Sam, and then she explains. "He said that everyone deserves to know the truth, since everyone knows about Lisa Loud and the whole genius prodigy thin." That part makes Lisa feel honored. "We are ready to make our comeback."
Luna also agrees. "And so, we agreed to the idea." She then pulls Lincoln close for a hug. "We just need to wait for the call from Michelle, and the date and time for when we go and make the comeback concert happen."
"But pray tell, how are you two going to explain why your teenagers and not adults?" asked Lisa.
"Hey, hey. Calm down there, little dudette. We have a plan, Lisa" replied Sam. "Everyone will be told, the story and specifics, and possibly when we're interviewed by the news channel too. Everything will be alright guys. We know that everyone will legit understand why it all happened."
"But until then, we continue to keep this a secret" replied Luna.
"Well, that makes logical sense" replied Lisa. But she sees Rita glare at her, and so she stays quiet.
Lincoln then goes to Lisa. "Lisa, my mom's told me that you did this to them, so that they can be saved from dying, and I owe you so much for helping make sure they stay alive and well, and still around to watch me grow up." He then embraces Lisa, but this makes her feel guilty for the real truth behind this.
"Yes, of course… You're very much welcome, Lincoln. I did, what I had to do."
Clyde then checks the clock and the time. "Oh shoot. Is that the time?! I have to get back home, I need to help my dad's with the cats and take them to the vet, and those girls can get very savage and feisty when we mention the vet." That name even scares the Loud pets and they run off and hide somewhere.
"That's alright buddy" replied Lincoln. "You go on ahead and help your dad's with the cats. Also, make sure they don't know the truth about Luna and Sam, and everything else that's been happening today."
"Don't worry Lincoln. I won't tell them, see you guys tomorrow!" Clyde then leaves the house, and he heads back home.
Jordan then looks to her boyfriend. "Well, it looks like it's gonna be just you and me tonight Lincoln. I messaged my parents earlier, and they said they're alright with me having dinner here."
Lincoln smiles hearing this. "That sounds great, gives us some more time to spend together."
Jordan giggles. "I look forward to that." They then share a small kiss, and the others find this cute.
The others then head back to their rooms, now that all of this is settled. They all have some other plans to do later.
"I'm gonna go and see if Bobby is available to call, and I wont mention about the whole thing that happened today, you literally have my trust, and promise."
"I have to like, go and put my brand-new clothes away, and then I have to double check my schedule on when I can make something new and totes fabulous."
"I have to go and work on a new poem." Lucy backs away and she fades into the shadows, and she's gone. This freaks everyone out.
"Well, ignoring that spooky bit. I have some comedy to work on, and Benny will be chuckling by the time I show them to him" replied Luan, and as usual she laughs at her own joke.
Lynn Jr. then grabs the remote. "Gonna watch me some WWE and see what's been happening, and if there are any reruns of vintage shows and matches." But she is a little annoyed by something. 'Hopefully someone will have the guts and strength to kick Roman Reign's butt!'
"I'm gonna go and feed my pets" replied Lana, and this annoys Lola. She also heads upstairs, and will avoid Lana, she has to go and admire herself again, since she did win the pageant today.
"Well, I am going to start dinner, and I am gonna make my world famous Lynnsagna!" They watch as Lynnard heads to the kitchen, and get dinner started, and they all are excited and hungry for that one.
But then Lola comes back and she looks to Luna and Sam. "I wanna know, what's it like to be famous?"
Luna is about to answer, but then her phone rings. "gotta take this call."
This concerns Sam. "Wait, Luna. Don't leave me here with—And she's gone." Sam then sees Lola siting next to her, and this is going to be a long day for her.
Lisa heads off upstairs, to think about what's been going on, but she also has to finish something. Rita on the other hand, she remains standing there and she is pissed off, and so she comes up with a plan and she heads to her bedroom and nobody even noticed her leaving the area.
Rita then grabs her cell phone, and she has an idea. "Hello Howard, this is Rita. We need to talk." She smiles, and is ready to put this new plan into motion.
(At the backyard.)
Luna is at the backyard porch and she is talking to someone on the phone. "Hey Michelle. So good to hear from you again, dude. It's been so long."
Michelle Lewis. "Good to hear from you too, Luna. Also, I have some big news for you and Sam! I have done it, I booked the Killer Goats comeback concert and guess what? It will be at the Royal Woods Performance Center, this Sunday!"
Luna is surprised. "Whoa, hit the brakes and hold it a bit. Are you for reals? That sounds great!"
Michelle Lewis. "I know, and we've sold more than 500 tickets, and some folks are still ordering online. This is going to be so god dang huge!"
This makes Luna chuckle. "Dang dude, looks like everyone wants to see us make a comeback and rock n' roll again. Keep up the good work, Michelle. You really are the most prepared, and organized manager we have ever had. You're an awesome miracle worker, dude."
Michelle Lewis. "Thanks Luna, and hey, do you and Sam want to come and check out everything tomorrow? I will be in town."
Luna then explains. "Sorry, Michelle. Tomorrow is not a good time dude. Me and Sam wanna spend some time with Lincoln, some mothers and son bonding time, just the three of us."
Michelle Lewis. "Hey, that's alright with me. Family is important, and we'll give you the time you need to have fun with your kid. I know it's been hard for you two to not have been there through his childhood, and now telling him the truth is a big-time thing. Also, how is the little white-haired kid? I haven't seen him since he was first born."
Luna chuckles, and she explains. "Lincoln is a good student with the best dang grades. He has some good friends. He's a killer in dodge ball and rules it like a champ, and he has a girlfriend. Me and Sam are so proud of him and everything he has been doing."
Michelle Lewis. "Glad he's doing so well, and being an awesome kid. Hey, how about this. You and Sam can come here on Wednesday, and bring Lincoln along. I don't mind if he brings his girlfriend and his other friends."
Luna smiles hearing this. "I think that'll do just fine, dude. I gotta get going, we got a big day ahead of us."
Michelle Lewis. "Same here, got a lot of work to handle with the comeback concert. See you guys on Wednesday, Luna."
"Back right at ya, dude." Luna then hangs up and she goes back inside and checks on Sam, Lincoln and Jordan.
But unbeknownst to her, Rita Loud has been hearing all of this and this causes her to smirk evilly. "Oh, Luna, you really think that you and Sam are better parents to Lincoln than me? Well, you're both dead wrong! I am way better than you both and soon, Lincoln will be my son again and forget that you and Sam were ever his parents! Also, you will forget that he was ever your son! You two will belong to me!"
A/N: Christ Almighty, Rita has lost it, and though everyone is alright with this truth and the plan, Rita is up to no good and whatever it is, is going to spell disaster and trouble for Lincoln, Luna and Sam S. Loud.
