Loud n' Secret.
Chapter 05.
(The Loud House, Franklin Avenue.)
Wednesday at the Loud House, and Luna is in her bedroom and she is going through the photos of when Lincoln was a little cute baby, and with Sam and herself back when they were adults, and seeing these memories makes her smile, and then Sam comes into the room. "Hey Luna, Lincoln told me that Jordan will be here soon, and she'll be ready to come along with us to the Performance Center."
Sam then sits next to Luna. "Watcha looking at Luna?"
"Just, going through the memories of when Lincoln was a baby" replied Luna, and she sighs. "We missed so much, we missed a lot of good times as he was growing up, and I wish we'd never gotten that stupid disease and maybe then we would have been a family, growing up and being there for our little boy."
"I wish that too, Luna" replied Sam as she rubs the back of Luna. "Let's just hope that Lisa can figure out how to make something to turn us back to the right age, and then everything will be back to normal, and we can catch up on so many lost times."
"Well, I'm starting to lose hope on what Lisa will do." Luna then looks to the photos again and she smiles. "Hey you know, I still remember the day Lincoln was born, and the first time he laid his eyes ion us."
Sam smiles and she also remembers that day. "Yeah, I remember that day too. He was so small, and precious and delicate, and so cute."
(Flashback, 11 years ago...)
At the Royal Woods Hospital, Luna is rushed into the building after her water broke, and right in the middle of the night. Her family is back home, and waiting on the condition of Luna.
Right now, Luna is in the emergency room, and she's holding the hand of Sam, and the doctor is ready to deliver the baby, and Luna is screaming in pain, and holding the hand of Sam tightly, and it's starting to hurt her.
"OH MY GOD! THIS HURTS SO MUCH! AAARGH! MAKE IT STOP! GET THIS DAMN BABY OUT OF ME ALREADY!" Luna is giving her all and pushing the baby out of her womb, and giving it her all as she's crushing Sam's hand. I don't know who is truly in pain and labor here, Luna or Sam?
"OW! OH GOD! I FEEL THE PAIN TOO, LUNA!" yelled Sam, and she bites onto a steel tray as her hand is getting crushed, and the nurses are confused and this is getting awkward. "JUST GO WITH THE PAIN SAM, GOD DAMN IT! THIS HURTS SO MUCH!"
The doctor then speaks after he sees something. "Alright, Mrs. S. Loud, I can see the baby's head coming out, you are doing great, just keep pushing."
"I… I don't know if I can keep going! I just, I can't!" replied Luna, and she is now breathing heavily.
This concerns Sam, and she looks to her wife. "Luna, you can do it! You're doing great, just one more push and the baby will be here! Just, don't give up babe!"
Luna now has tears, and she's crying. "I… I can't do this! I can't, this hurts so god damn much!"
"Just one more big push, Luna! Come on, god damn it!" yelled Sam. "Do it for our child, please!"
This gives Luna the confidence she needs, but then she yells at her. "Shut the hell up! Don't you dare yell at me! You don't know what the hell I am going through right now!" She then yells and tries her best.
"Luna, I know that you can do this!" yelled Sam. Because I know one thing, that you Luna S. Loud are no god damn quitter! You are a strong woman, who doesn't quit!"
"I would never quit!"
"Are you god damn sure about that?!"
"I AM NEVER GOING TO QUIT!"
"THEN SHOW ME THAT YOU ARE NOT A QUITTER GOD DAMN IT!"
This whole thing, is so awkward for the Doctor and the nurses, and they look back and forth between these two women who are yelling in the middle of a labor moment. Is this how they show they're love? Because… Damn.
Through this, Luna yells and she gives one last push, and then they hear a baby crying, and though Luna should be tired, she is wide eyed and so is Sam. They then see, the doctor and nurses cleaning the baby, and cutting the umbilical cord, and then the doctor shows the two women, the baby who was born from Luna's womb.
"Congratulations Mrs. S. Loud, you have given birth to a healthy baby boy."
"You did it, Luna! You did it!" Sam then has tears.
Luna also has tears, an she smiles. "Yeah, I sure did."
The doctor then hands the baby over to the couple, and in the arms of Luna, they look to the infant wrapped in a blue blanket. What really catches their attention of the infant, are the three strands of white hair on his head. They didn't care about that, they are just glad that they're baby is with them.
"He's perfect" replied Sam, and she kisses Luna on the cheek. "So, what do we name him?"
Luna chuckles. "Well, I always told myself, that if I ever did have a son, then there is one name I would give him." She then looks to the infant in her arms. "welcome to the world, and our family, Lincoln S. Loud."
"Lincoln S. Loud… Now that right there, is a perfect name for him, Lunes" replied Sam. They both share a hug, with the baby in the middle.
The baby then slowly opens his eyes, and he looks to the face of Luna and Sam. The two women hold the hand of the newborn baby boy, and his fingers hold onto their fingers, and then he gives them a small smile, and this touches Luna and Sam. They are glad to have Lincoln S. Loud, as they're son.
(Back to the Present Day.)
"That was the second-best day of our lives" replied Sam. "Since the wedding we had was the greatest one ever. But then again, having Lincoln into the world and as our son, is an unforgettable and treasured moment."
"Yeah" replied Luna. But then she has some concerns and Sam notices this.
"Luna, are you okay?"
Luna sighs. "Do you remember the whole Sister Fight Protocol? The Sweet Spot, the Grocery Store incident, and everything else I became part of?"
Sam remembers. "Yeah, I remember, and you keep telling me about that too. What about them?"
"Well… I want to talk to Lincoln about all of those incidents, and then explain to him why I fell in line with my sisters and I want to make amends for all of those incidents" replied Luna. "After thinking about all of those incidents and bad times, it makes me feel like I've been a bad mother to him."
After hearing this, Sam is surprised. "Luna, you are in no way a bad mother, to Lincoln!" She then tries to comfort her. "I mean, sure those incidents were bad, but you always make it up to Lincoln. You comfort him when he needs it, like the time you made his very first concert memorable and tried to help bail him out of mall security jail."
Luna remembers. "Yeah, that was a fun and crazy day for us, and also for Clyde as well. It was like, a mother and son bonding thing that day, to show him how much of a passionate rock n' roll star concert gal I was."
Sam then remembers another thing. "And do you remember the terrible nightmare that you had during the summer? The one involving you and Lincoln being home alone and missing out the soft ball game of Lynn?"
Luna sighs. "Yeah, I remember that nightmare, and boy was it super scary."
The nightmare, involved something known as "No Such Luck" where Lincoln is blamed for having bad luck, and the rest of the family sold his stuff, and then kicked him out of the house, and even though he made up for his lies, they had him wear a squirrel suit as a good luck charm, they made Lincoln into a total tool and brought him to all of their events so that they would continue to have good luck.
Then Lincoln would leave the family and never want to return, and Luna would end up looking for him and save him from this horrible mess, and eventually she did find Lincoln, lying on a bench and deceased after he lost so much blood, and this made Luna scream in horror, where she woke up from the nightmare and broke into tears.
Even though the family told her it was just a nightmare, it felt all too real for Luna, and it felt like she was inside of another world, and it even caused Lynn to give up being superstitious and chose not to force Lincoln to not attend her game, and give him a break, and the others also agreed.
"You are being a good and caring mother, Luna" replied Sam, and this causes Luna to snap out of her trance. "Lincoln knows that as well, so how about this… Tomorrow, you talk to our boy about these incidents, and explain why you fell in line with the sisters, alright?"
Luna thinks about this, then she looks to Sam and she smiles. "Yeah, you're right Sammy. I just need to talk to Lincoln about this whole thing, to clear the air between us. Thanks babe."
"No problem, babe" replied Sam, "Glad I could help you." Sam then hugs Luna, and she hugs her back.
They then hear a knock on the door, and then Lincoln comes inside. "Oh, hey moms. Sorry to bother you and all, but Jordan is waiting and we're ready to go."
"Alright, thanks kiddo" replied Luna and Sam. They then get up and head out of the room and then they head downstairs, and head towards Luna's car, and then they drive off to the Royal Woods Performance Center, and see how it's all going for the big comeback concert.
But, unbeknownst to them, Rita Loud is sitting in Vanzilla and has been waiting for them to move. "Finally, it was about time!" She then starts Vanzilla and she follows them, but keeps her distance. "Not only will my friend take away Lincoln from them, but she might shut down the entire comeback concert!"
But then Vanzilla breaks down, and there is smoke coming out of the engine. "Oh, come on! Are you serious right now?! Stupid piece of old scrap heap junk! Why the heck did Leonard pass this onto Lynn?! I swear, Veronica was a better van than this stupid tin can!" She then grabs the tool box, and she needs to get to work and see what happened to Vanzilla.
(At the Royal Woods Performance Center.)
The doors open, and coming through are Luna, Sam, Lincoln and Jordan. They see a lot of people are walking around, and hard at work to make this whole setup for the comeback concert of the Killer Goats this Sunday.
"Wow. Look at this place" replied Jordan as she looks around. "This place is so big, and to be honest, this is my first time here." They didn't know that. "Reminds me so much of my dad's large shipping company warehouses."
Lincoln also agrees. "Yeah, and I've been to your dad's workplace twice, but this place is bigger!"
Sam whistles seeing this. "Wow. This whole comeback concert, is going to be a big one, for sure."
"Well, you ladies were always such a big time hit." They see who said that, and it is none other than the manager of Luna and Sam, the Killer Goats manager, Michelle Lewis.
A woman in a red knee length dress, red heels and gold hoop earrings, and a pink scarf. Her hair is light brown, and is a combination of Luna's front pixie cut and the back of Leni's long hair.
Michelle has a clipboard with her, and a headset for communicating with the workers who would be in range if she goes closer. "Good to see you all finally made it."
"Oh man, we missed you so much, Michelle!" Luna and Sam go over, and they embrace her, and this makes Michelle smile and she hugs them too.
"I missed you girls so much too!" They then depart from the hug and Michelle chuckles. "Wow. Even right now, you both remind me of the past from back when we first met."
Sam chuckles. "Thanks, and you still look young and awesome. Also, we heard that you're a mother now too, that all true dude?"
Michelle nods. "Dang right it is. I adopted a little girl when she was 5 years old, her name is Delilah. Her patents died in a fire not too far from my home, and she was sent to an orphanage and had no family, and I felt bad for her, and so I took the responsibility to take care of her, as if she were my own daughter. I raised her right, and she is a very sweet girl."
"And where is she now, Michelle?" asked Luna.
"Well, she would be here, but she's busy hanging out with her friends" replied Michelle, but then she sees the white-haired boy and she is surprised. "Is that who I think it is? Is that you're son? Is that Lincoln S. Loud?! Oh, my goodness, look at you! You have gotten so big the last time I saw you, and you were just a cute little newborn baby when we first met."
"Yup, that's our son Lincoln, and that girl is his girlfriend Jordan Rosato" replied Luna. "Kids, this lady right here is our long-time friend, and manager, Michelle Lewis. The best dang manager we could ever ask for." This makes Michelle blush, and smile.
Lincoln walks over to her, and he shakes her hand. "It's nice to meet an old friend of my mom's, and thanks for making this happen, this means so much to us."
Michelle smiles, and she is impressed at how polite he is. "And it is so nice to meet you again little Lincoln, I still can never forget the day I saw that cute, and adorable baby face you had long ago."
This makes Lincoln blush and feel a little embarrassed. "Yeah, I get that a lot. Mostly from my aunts, whom I once thought were my sisters. Still getting used to the real truth of who I am and where I came from, but I love this."
Sam then looks to Michelle. "So, how are the preparation for the concert going, dude?"
"There will be no concert when I am done here!" All of them are startled by this new voice, and they all turn around to see who it is.
A 44-year-old woman, same height as Rita Loud, she has brown eyes and brown long hair tied into a bun. She is wearing a black suit with a red shirt underneath and black skirt, black shoes and her fingernails painted white.
Michelle is confused with this woman. "Ma'am, I'm afraid you can't be here during these construction hours. So, I'm going to have to ask you to leave, now."
"You have no right to tell me to leave this establishment! My name, is Selena Williams! This wretched Rock n' Roll Concert is an unfit gimmick for a Performance Center such as this and I demand for this concert to be shut down at once this instant!"
This confuses Luna, and she talks back. "Look lady, nobody is shutting down anything, so can you please just leave now?!"
This annoys Selena. "And why should I even heed the words from a teenager who shouldn't even be allowed to be a parent to this child?!" This surprises them.
"What?!"
"Wait, a minute. How the heck do you know that Luna and I are the real mothers of Lincoln?!" asked Sam. They can tell that something is not right here.
"That is none of your business you teenager!" yelled Selena Williams. "What truly matters right now is that child should not be in the hands of you two! He should not be allowed to be raised by some crazed rock n' roll junkies who use drugs and would overdose themselves, it is unfit and unhealthy for a child! Especially if it's from two women who are in a relationship, now that is not decent and wrong! The boy is coming with me, right now!"
But this angers Luna and Sam greatly. "You are not taking our son away from us!" Both Luna and Sam hold their ground and stand against Selena Williams with the aura of two strong and loving parental strength.
"Also, we aren't about fame, and drugs or anything messed up!" yelled Sam. "We are responsible and loving mothers, and we are not letting some Karen like you take our son away from us!"
This angers Selena Williams. "How dare you, my name is not Karen, it's Selena Williams, and the boy is coming with me right now! One way or another!" She then grabs Lincoln's arm, and he tries to break free, but then Luna comes in charging and she kicks Selena Williams in the chest, and then punches her face, and she let's go of Lincoln.
"You keep your dirty and cheap manicured hands off my boy!" Luna grabs her son and she checks on him, "Are you alright, kiddo? Are you hurt?"
"Not hurt" replied Lincoln. "But she had a strong vice grip. Damn, that was hard to break out from."
"You are going to pay for that you stupid teenage brat!" Selena Williams gets up, and she gores after Luna and Lincoln again, but then Jordan grabs the clipboard and she throws it, and it clocks Selena Williams on the forehead, and she stumbles back, and the clipboard goes back to Jordan and she grabs it, and then hands it back to Michelle Lewis.
Then two security guards show up, and they apprehend Selena Williams, and this angers her. She struggles to break free, but they place hand cuffs on her, and they take her to the police station for breaking into a private property and construction area for a big event soon.
Michelle is so confused about that strange woman, she then sees Luna and Sam hugging Lincoln, and he hugs them back. Jordan goes over, to also help comfort them. "Guys, I am so sorry about that. I mean, I don't even know who that deranged woman is."
"We don't blame ya dude" replied Luna, and they break the hug. "This wasn't you're fault."
"Yeah, it was that deranged lady who is at fault here" replied Sam. "Still, who the hell was she and how did she even know?! I mean, what the heck is going on here?"
"I don't know, but I doubt anyone would believe her once she's down at the station, I also spoke to the cops before coming here, and they are good on the truth and fine with it." This surprises Luna and Sam, Lincoln and Jordan. "So, chances they will handle this Selena Williams, and she won't be bothering us anymore."
They are happy to at least hear that, the cops are on their side and know the truth, which is a good thing. They then continue to look around the Performance Center, and see the setup and how it will all go down.
But they don't know, Rita Loud snuck in and she was too late when she saw Selena Williams get taken away and this angers her, and she sneaks away. 'God damn it, no! Not even Selena Williams can make my plans work! I need to figure something out, and think of a new plan to stop this before everything I worked hard for is gone!'
Rita then goes back to Vanzilla and she drives away, but Jordan sees the vehicle driving by, and this has her confused. 'Huh, that was super weird. That was Mrs. Loud, inside of Vanzilla and the second time I've seen her… Around us.' She then feels like, something is not right here. 'There's something fishy going on here, and I think Rita Loud might be in the middle of it all.'
A/N: And there goes another plan by Rita Loud, but she might have another plan up her sleeve, but thankfully someone is getting suspicious about seeing her, thank you Jordan. She might be able to figure something out and uncover what Rita has been hiding.
