Back in the apartment, the aroma of freshly made ramen filled the air. Shinkai slurped his noodles with a blissful expression, savoring every bite. "This is the best ramen ever," he declared, leaning back with a satisfied grin.

Ogawa, sitting across from him, raised an eyebrow and replied flatly, "Flattering me isn't going to help you get away with your nonsense."

Shinkai straightened up like a scolded schoolboy. "Yes, ma'am."

Ogawa set her bowl down and studied him for a moment. "But… don't you think it was a bit harsh, what you said to her?"

Shinkai didn't hesitate. "I don't care. She crossed a line."

Ogawa's lips curled into a small smile, and she shook her head slightly. "You're impossible."

Later, they settled on the couch, a random TV show playing in the background. They sat close, the warmth of the moment wrapping around them like a blanket. Shinkai, however, seemed far more interested in Ogawa than whatever was on the screen.

Ogawa caught him staring, his gaze lingering too long. She smirked and pointed at the TV. "Shinkai, the TV is over there."

He laughed, scratching the back of his neck. "Can't help it. You're much more interesting to watch."

Ogawa rolled her eyes and returned her attention to the screen, but Shinkai's hand began to wander, brushing lightly against her leg.

Ogawa swatted his hand away playfully. "Behave yourself."

Shinkai huffed, crossing his arms dramatically. "Fine, fine. You're no fun."

Before he could sulk further, Ogawa made her move. In one swift motion, she straddled him, her knees pressing into the couch on either side of his hips.

Shinkai froze, his eyes wide as he looked up at her. "O-Ogawa?! What are you—"

She leaned in, cutting him off with a soft, deliberate kiss. Her lips lingered, warm and inviting, until Shinkai's shock melted into a grin against her mouth.

When they finally pulled apart, he was breathless, his hands instinctively resting on her waist. "Well… this is a surprise," he murmured, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Ogawa smirked, her voice teasing. "I thought I should remind you that you're mine. And I don't share."

Shinkai laughed, wrapping his arms around her. "Noted. Loud and clear."

The TV droned on in the background, but neither of them paid it any attention as the night unfolded into something far more memorable.

As the kiss deepened, their breaths grew heavier, and the tension between them crackled like electricity. Shinkai's hands trembled slightly as they roamed Ogawa's back, but suddenly, he pulled back, resting his forehead on her shoulder.

His voice was husky, almost strained. "I think we should stop… If we don't, I won't be able to hold back, Ogawa. I'll do what I've been dying to do for so long."

Ogawa, catching her breath, grabbed his face gently but firmly, tilting his chin so he looked directly into her eyes. Her gaze was unwavering as she said, "Then take me to your bedroom."

Shinkai blinked, his mind racing as he processed her words. "A-are you sure?"

Ogawa simply nodded, her confidence unwavering, though a small, playful smile teased her lips.

Shinkai didn't need to be told twice. With one fluid motion, he scooped her into his arms, earning a surprised yelp from Ogawa that quickly turned into a laugh. Carrying her, he moved toward the bedroom, his steps purposeful but his heart pounding like a drum.

As they crossed the threshold, he laid her gently on the bed, his eyes searching hers one last time for confirmation. Ogawa smiled softly, her hands reaching to pull him closer.

That night, the world outside faded away, leaving only the two of them and the connection they had built over time. Every touch, every kiss, and every whispered word was filled with tenderness and passion.

The night unfolded into a symphony of sweet moments, sealing their bond in a way neither of them had experienced before. For Shinkai and Ogawa, it was more than just physical—it was the culmination of trust, love, and the promise of a future together.

The room was quiet, bathed in the soft light of the nightstand lamp. Shinkai lay awake, his head resting on his arm as he gazed at Ogawa. She was fast asleep, her expression serene and peaceful, her chest rising and falling steadily. A stray lock of her hair fell across her cheek, and he gently tucked it behind her ear, careful not to wake her.

His heart swelled as he watched her. She looked so vulnerable in her sleep, so unguarded, and it only deepened his feelings for her.

"I love you," he whispered softly, his voice barely audible. "I'll do anything to make you happy, Ogawa. I swear it."

He let his gaze linger a moment longer before closing his eyes, her presence a comforting warmth beside him.

The next morning, the sunlight streamed through the window, casting a golden glow over the room. Ogawa was the first to stir, her body still safely cradled by Shinkai's arm draped over her waist. She turned slightly, shifting onto her stomach to face him.

Shinkai was still fast asleep, his hair tousled in every direction from the night before. A smile tugged at Ogawa's lips as she observed him. Despite his messy appearance, he looked undeniably handsome, his features soft in the morning light.

Unable to resist, she reached out, smoothing a strand of his hair back into place. The touch made him stir, his brows furrowing slightly before his eyes fluttered open.

His gaze landed on her, and a slow, groggy smile spread across his face. "Good morning," he murmured, his voice thick with sleep.

Ogawa grinned. "Good morning. You look like a hedgehog with that hair."

Shinkai chuckled, his voice still low. "And you look like an angel."

Ogawa scoffed lightly, though her cheeks flushed. "You're cheesy, even half-asleep."

"Only for you," he teased, pulling her closer until she was tucked against his chest. "What time is it?"

Ogawa glanced at the clock. "Too early to be dealing with your nonsense."

Shinkai laughed softly, his hand trailing down her back in a soothing motion. "Then let's stay like this a little longer."

Ogawa didn't argue. Instead, she closed her eyes and let herself relax against him, the morning slipping by in quiet contentment.
