After defeating Twinbellows and escaping the Underworld, Sora, Kairi, Pit, Pikachu, and Angel have made it outside. They looked around and they saw that they were in a world that is similar to ancient Greece. But they knew that some of the Underworld Army is still out there to deal with, and so are the Heartless.
"It's good to see some daylight again," Pit said.
"I'm with you, Pit. I'm gonna guess Medusa probably knows we have one of the Sacred Treasures with us and that we're out of the Underworld by now," Sora said.
"Me too. After getting out and putting that bad dog down, Medusa won't be taking any other chances with us," Kairi said.
"Don't worry about a thing, you two. Medusa's next lackey won't know what's going to hit 'em next when we get the second Sacred Treasure," Pit said.
"Well, let's go before any one of those monsters decides to pull us back in and throw us in a cell," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
With that said, they started to make their way through the surface and they looked around and they didn't see any Heartless or any Underworld soldier.
"It's quiet. Too quiet. I always wanted to say that," Pit said.
"Don't jinx it, Pit," Sora said.
"Just so we kill the boredom, I gotta ask you something. You came from another world, right?" Pit asked. The couple just looked at the angel.
"How did you figure that out, Pit?" Kairi asked.
"I kinda picked up on it. Number one, it's Pikachu and Angel. I never seen anything like them before. And it was those Keyblades. Lady Palutena might have picked up on it already," Pit said.
"Great," Sora sighed.
"You caught on quick, Pit, but you shouldn't be telling it to anyone," Kairi said.
"Not a problem. I won't blab a thing about it," Pit said.
"Anyway, Pit, did you hear anything about Medusa's associates?" Sora asked.
"No why?" Pit asked.
"We think Medusa is working with someone named Ganondorf. He's after the seven Princesses of Heart and he's joined up with some other villains in different worlds," Kairi said.
"You know something, I think I heard some of the Underworld Army talking about some princesses. I didn't quite understand what they were talking about," Pit said.
"You think Palutena is one of them?" Sora asked.
"No way. Palutena's a goddess, not a princess. But if what you're telling me is right, then we got a problem here," Pit said. Pikachu and Angel's perked up when they heard something coming.
What they saw is a round monster with red and bumpy skin with yellow eyes with red pupils, and a yellow chin. The row of spikes appears along its sides, and its fangs are tusk-like in appearance. In addition, it has a small tail on its backside. These creatures are known as Minos.
"Eevee!" Angel exclaimed.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu also exclaimed.
"I think our problems have just gotten bigger," Sora said.
"Minos!" Pit gasped. Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades and they started to engage the spiky monsters. "Sora, Kairi, wait! When you attack a Minos they-" Sora and Kairi batted the Minos explodes and fires spikes all around. Sora comically dodges the spikes, narrowly escaping certain death. "-shoot out spikes when they're taken down."
"My fault for rushing in," Sora said, gritting his teeth a a comical fashion.
"My fault, too," Kairi stated in the same fashion. Several more Minos came right at them. Pikachu jumped and fired Thunderbolt, shocking the Minos. They explode and fired their spikes when the electric attack hits them. Pikachu and Angel managed to dodge the spikes with their incredible speed. Sora just glared at the Pokémon couple and huffed.
"Show-offs," Sora said. Pikachu just sticks his tongue at Sora, and he sticks his right back.
"Knock it off, you two. We have a world to save," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel agreed.
"Kairi's right. Let's go," Pit said.
Sora, Kairi, Pit, Pikachu, and Angel started to make their way through the surface world, searching for the second of the Sacred Treasures. As they kept going, they hear the sound of screams not too far away from them.
"You hear that?" Kairi asked.
"Sure do! It sounded really close," Sora said.
"Come on, let's go!" Pit said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Pit, Pikachu, and Angel rushed to the source of the disturbance as they saw the Underworld Army and the Heartless attacking the city. The Underworld Army consisted of Eggplant Wizards, Monolith's, Reapers, Reapettes, Shemums, Specknoses, Minos, and some other creatures.
One of them is a green, frog-like monster with a light-colored underbelly. It has a single orange eye, long legs, and wings with a purple trime. This creature is known as the Keron.
Another is a large, teal insect with matching mandibles and eyes, and a bulbous yellow abdomen with orange and purple accents across its body. This creature is known as the Girin.
Another is a green, round monster with a large mouth, sharp teeth, and multiple tentacles protruding from its backside. It has a long blue tongue and light green dots on its body. This creature is known as the Mik.
Another is an ogre with a dark green beard and two yellow horns. It has three-toes on each foot and five fingers on each hand. It has a large pink bulbous nose and wore a dirty white garb. This creature is known as the Pluton.
Another is a creature that has a looks like a mushroom. Its eyes are mushroom-shaped and has blue irises and orange-red pupils. It has dark purple mushrooms on both sides of its head and one more on its forehead with dark red spots. It has a white stem-like body and brown roots. This creature is known as the Shulm.
Another is a creature that looks like a brass ball with a single eye and lacks teeth. This creature is known as a Tamambo.
Another is a creature that appears as a tall, humanoid creature made of ice blocks akin to an igloo. It has orange eyes with a purple lining, a large nose, and a wide mouth. This creature is known as the Snowman.
And lastly, it is a creature that appears to he a yellow rock with a round body and green eyes. This creature is known as the Rokman.
The Heartless consisted of Shadows, Soldiers, Large Bodies, Red Nocturnes, Blue Rhapsodies, Yellow Operas, Green Requiems, Powerwilds, Bouncywilds, Air Soldiers, Bad Dogs, Gargoyles, Wright Knights, Doberman Punishers, Imps, Minotaurs, and Hi-Gargoyles.
"The Underworld Army!" Pit exclaimed.
"And the Heartless!" Kairi also exclaimed.
"We gotta take them out! All of them!" Sora said.
"He's right! We can let them have their way!" Pit said.
Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades as Pit readied Palutena's Bow. They engaged the Heartless and the Underworld Army. Pit fired his arrows at the Kreons, Rokmen, Air Soldiers, and Green Requiems as Pikachu and Angel took on the Shemums and Soldiers. Sora threw his Keyblade at the monsters as Kairi casts her magnet spell, pulling them all in.
The fight raged on between the couple, the angel, and the Pokémon until they were all defeated.
"That takes care of them," Sora said.
"We're not out of the woods yet. Medusa will be sending some more after us unless we get moving," Kairi said.
"She's right. Let's keep going," Pit said.
Sora, Kairi, Pit, Pikachu, and Angel continued their way through the city, keeping a lookout for any signs of the Heartless or the Underworld Army. Some Shemums and Specknoses came, so Pit fired at them, taking them out. Some Powerwilds jumped down at them, but Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel took them out by using their Keyblades and Pokémon attacks.
In the areas encased in ice, they bumped into some Snowmen and some ice-themed Heartless, consisting of Blue Rhapsodies, Ice Soldiers, Razor Penguins, Axe Penguins, Little Red Penguins, Little Green Penguins, Tiger Seals, Queen Penguins, and Empress Penguins.
"Let's turn up the heat!" Kairi said, taking out a Pokéball.
"You read my mind, Kairi," Sora said, taking out a Pokéball as well.
"Go! Flareon!" Kairi called out.
"Charizard! Go!" Sora called out.
Both Fire-types came out to fight against the Snowmen and the Heartless. Sora and Kairi casts their fire spells as Charizard and Flareon unleashed Flamethrower at the ice-themed Heartless.
The Snowmen blew a frozen wind at them, leaving a purple interior on their torsos exposed, giving Pit a chance to fire his arrows at the Snowmen, taking them out.
The last of the Snowmen and Heartless were dealt with, leaving them exhausted.
"Man, this is harder than I thought," Pit panted.
"You took the words right out of my mouth, Pit," Sora panted.
"Pikachu," Pikachu panted.
"But it was quite a workout," Kairi panted.
"Eevee," Angel panted.
Night came, and they continued to stroll through the city. It was quiet for the most part, but they haven't seen any signs of the Heartless or the Underworld Army. They came out of the city and right in front of a huge lake.
"It's quiet. Too quiet," Pit said. "You think the Underworld Army just gave up?"
"I don't think so. They'll make themselves known," Kairi said.
"I'm with her. They'll show up rather if we want them to or not," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"But the bright side is, we're right in front of this beautiful lake," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Well, nothing could ruin this moment," Sora said. Kairi blushed as Sora smiled. Just before they could enjoy the romantic setting, something erupts from the water. It appears as a large, serpent-like dragon with purple scales and a white underbelly. It has three heads, each one a different shade of violet: the right head is violet-blue, the left one is red-violet, and the middle one is simply violet. The heads all have amber eyes, and horns on their noses and foreheads. It also has fins on the sides of its heads, as well as on the sides of its body, and on the tip of its tail.
"Wanna bet?" Kairi deadpanned.
"Hello there," the blue violet head greeted.
"It's snack time!" The violet head said.
"Mmm! What tasty little morsels!" The red violet head said.
"Who and what is that?" Sora asked.
"That's Hewdraw, another one of Medusa's Underworld goons," Pit said.
"You shouldn't be whispering among yourselves in front of company like that. It's very rude," the violet head said.
"Yeah, especially that you're our lunch meat!" The red violet head said.
"We're not lunch meat!" Kairi argued.
"What did you say?" the red violet head asked.
"Technically, you are," the violet head said.
"Just come a little closer," the blue violet head said.
"Yeah, let's get eating already! I got dibs on that one with the spiky-hair! I wanna bite his head off!" The red violet head said.
"Why don't YOU come a little closer and try it?" Sora dared the three-headed serpent.
"I like this one! Bet he tastes like chicken!" The red violet head said.
"Let's get right on it, guys!" The violet head said.
"Bring it on, you-" Pit was cut off when the heads started talking all at once.
"Total annihilation!" The red violet head exclaimed.
"Bone-crushing destruction!" The blue violet head also exclaimed.
"Face-stomping carnage! It was MY turn to have the last word!" The violet head barked.
"Oh, give it a rest," the blue violet said.
"Let's not argue in front of company," the red violet head asked.
"Cram a sock in it, foot face!" The violet head argued.
"I'm soooo sick of you guys," the blue violet head said.
"Me?! What did I do?!" The red violet head asked.
"Knock it off already!" The blue violet head snapped.
"YOU knock it off!" The red violet head barked back.
"I can't believe this is my life," the violet head said.
"Can we go home and watch TV now?" The blue violet head asked.
"Would everyone just shut it?!" The red violet head exclaimed.
"Someone put me out of my misery," the violet said.
"Did I mention I'm starving?" the red violet head asked.
"And you think we're not?!" The violet head countered.
"Man, listening to those three heads arguing is enough to give me a headache!" Sora said.
"And I thought Team Rocket were annoying," Kairi said.
"Any ideas, Pit?" Sora asked.
"I guess we should just attack him," Pit said.
"EVERYBODY SHUT UP AND FOCUS!" All three heads yelled.
"Now we got a fight on our hands!" Sora said, summoning his Keyblade. Kairi summoned hers as Pit readied Palutena's Bow to engage the three-headed serpent. The heads of Hewdraw snapped at them as Pikachu fired Thunderbolt at the blue violet head. The blue violet head fired beams of destructive energy at them. Pit kept on firing at the heads of Hewdraw as the blue violet head fired a cresent-shaped bolt of energy at them. Sora Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel managed to dodge the monster's attack. All three heads fired beams of energy from their mouths, so Sora and Kairi heads right for Hewdraw and gave the giant serpent a slash with their Keyblades as Pit fired one more arrow right at Hewdraw right in the chest.
"No! I'm too pretty to die!" The blue violet head cried.
"Now look what you little brats did!" The violet head cried.
"Before I die, I just wanna say—" The red violet head said before the whole body sank into the darkness. All three heads screamed as Hewdraw sinks into the earth and back to the Underworld. Just then, a second chest appeared before them.
"The second Sacred Treasure!" Sora said.
"We're one step away from defeating Medusa!" Pit said.
"And finding the Keyhole," Kairi said.
"The only way to go is up," Pit said, pointing to the sky. "But the problem is how are we going to get up there since I can't fly."
"Hey, I think we can help you there, Pit," Sora said, taking out two of his Pokéballs. "Charizard, Pidgeot! Come out!" His Pokéballs opened up as Charizard and Pidgeot came out. Sora and Kairi got on Charizard's back as Pikachu and Angel got on Pidgeot's back. Pidgeot picked up Pit on his talons and started to fly upwards.
Over to the Palace in the Sky, Thanatos appeared before Medusa once again.
"Lady Medusa, Hewdraw was defeated by the angel and the Keybladers in battle and they have gotten hold of the second Sacred Treasure!" Thanatos reported.
"What?! That stupid three-headed lizard! I should have known three heads weren't better than one! At least Twinbellows had more sense than to argue with himself. No matter. Pandora, the Goddess of Calamity will make up for their failures and finish them off," Medusa said.
Over to Palutena, she overhears Medusa's talk and she grinned to herself.
"Good work, Pit. I knew you could do it," Palutena said to herself.
