After taking their leave from Pit's world, they make their way through a section in space. They have arrived in the Lylat System, which is a peaceful system or it would seem. They were completely unaware of a spacecraft not too far away. It is red and dark gray.
Inside the craft is an anthropomorphic chameleon wearing a blue jumpsuit and had a yellow scar over his left eye. He grinned evilly as the craft goes by him.
"Leon here. I spotted something very interesting," the chameleon reported.
"What is it, Leon?" A voice asked.
"I just spotted a craft floating out in space. I think it's the two children we were told about," Leon said.
"So they're coming in our territory. Ganondorf will reward us big when we captured them alive," the voice said.
"Well, we could just soften them up first," Leon added as he chuckled.
"Follow them, and we'll pick you up on our radar," Wolf said.
"On it," Leon said, obliging the voice.
Meanwhile, three similar crafts are flying through space. Inside are three different animals piloting them.
One of them is an anthropomorphic wolf who has gray and white fur that is clipped very close to his head in a buzz cut. His pointed gray ears rise above his head. His one visible eye is purple, and he seems to have an enraged look in that eye. This is intensified by his usually glaring white eyebrows.
In another one slightly resembles a white monkey, with pink skin. He wore a blue bodysuit with light blue linings, and black boots.
And another is a short, fat, and obnoxious pig. He wore a brown jacket and a magenta bodysuit.
"Andrew, Pigma, the kids we were hearing about have entered the Lylat System," the wolf said.
"I don't see what's so important about those little punks. They don't seem so tough to me," Andrew said.
"If they're worth a lot of dough, then I really don't care if they put a fight or not," Pigma said as he snorted.
"I'm with Pigma on this one. Ganondorf will reward us for their capture, but he wants them alive; so we take them alive. Let's go. Leon's already following them," the wolf said.
"Right behind you, Wolf," Andrew said.
The small ships went out to the coordinates to meet up with Leon and launch their attack.
Over to the Gummi Ship, Sora continues to cruise through space, but Kairi was amazed by how he was able to control it.
"How are you able to fly it so well, Sora?" Kairi asked.
"I kinda had some practice playing some video games with Karen when I was little, that and bumper cars. But she's way better at it than I am, so she always beats the pants off of me, both in video games and in bumper cars," Sora said. Kairi giggled.
"You're so lucky, Sora," Kairi said.
"But you can have a shot if you want," Sora offered.
"Are you sure, Sora?" Kairi asked.
"I'm sure, Kairi. I wouldn't let you have a shot if I wasn't," Sora said. "Also, I could use a break."
"Okay, if you think so," Kairi said, sitting in the pilot's chair. She puts her hands on the ship's steering wheel. "Here goes."
"That's the way, Kairi," Sora encouraged. The ship wobbles for a bit, making Pikachu and Angel yelp. "Easy, Kairi. Don't turn it too hard. Go smoothly." Kairi followed her boyfriend's instructions as best as she could and she smiled.
"Hey, this is fun! I'm actually doing it!" Kairi happily exclaimed.
"See? No training wheels for you," Sora said. He noticed a small green button. "What does that one do?" Sora pressed it and it fired lasers from the cannons below. "Oh, so that's what it does."
"I wish we used it before when we were attacked before we met Popo and Nana," Kairi said.
"Me too," Sora said. An alarm starts blarring. "And not a moment too soon." Just then, three more spacecrafts joins Leon's. The Gummi Ship receives a transmission from the wolf.
"So you're the ones that Ganondorf wants, huh? You two are even younger than I thought you'd be," the wolf said.
"Who are you?" Kairi asked.
"The name's Wold O'Donnell, leader of the Star Wolf team. And we're taking you in," Wolf said.
"Star Wolf?" Sora asked.
"You'll be disappointed to know that we're not going to be easy to catch," Kairi said.
"Fine with me, because me and my pack like a challenge. Leon, Pigma, Andrew! Let's collect on these two!" Wolf said. Pigma appeared on the screen.
"I like the sound of that!" Pigma said before he snorted. Star Wolf cuts their transmission and they launch their attack on the Gummi Ship.
"Man, not again!" Sora exclaimed.
"Don't worry, Sora! This time we can fight back!" Kairi said as she took control of the Gummi Ship and fired at Star Wolf. They dodged the laser fire.
"Look at this. They're actually fighting back," Leon said.
"That girl did say they won't be easy to catch, and I did say we like a challange," Wolf said. "Keep firing, boys. Sooner or later, they'll run out of juice."
"Here we come!" Andrew said.
Meanwhile, a large spacecraft is cruising through space. The ship is large and white, and it has a fox that has two tails, but the one on its back is shorter than the one on its rear, and the side has "STAR FOX" engraved on the sides.
Walking in the halls of the spacecraft is an anthropomorphic fox. He wore a flight jacket and a communications helmet green eyes, orange-brown fur, and his golden-brown white-highlighted hair is cut into a crew cut. The rest of his skin is a cream-colored tone. He additionally has a bushy white-tipped tail. He entered a messy room and spotted three other individuals.
One is a short, pudgy, green anthropomorphic frog with blue eyes. He wore a red cap that reads "Slippy" on the front and similar jacket, but a blue bodysuit with a utility belt and a watch, and he wore a red bandana around his neck. He is sitting on a couch and reading a magazine.
Another is a blue-feathered avian with long blue tail feathers and red plumage around his blue eyes. His appearance was based off of a red throated caracara. He also has an athletic yet lanky build, and is shown to be taller than the fox. He was playing a video game and he crashes his avatar, making him give off a frustrated yell.
And another appears as a gray haired rabbit with noticeable buckteeth. He wore a red bodysuit and the same jacket. He happens to be the oldest member of the team.
Piloting the ship is a robot that has a metallic and humanoid-like body. His head is somewhat oval-shaped, and his face has a small plate with vents for a mouth. The robot has a glowing, red visor for eyes. His torso is out-thrust and has a rectangular LED screen displaying the same fox symbol. He has extendable wrists on both of his arms.
The rabbit gave off some frustrating grunts.
"Just look at this mess! Were you boys raised in a barn?! How many times do I have to tell you to clean after yourselves?!" The rabbit scolded. "I am not your maid!" The bird has beaten the first level of the video game.
"YES!" The bird exclaimed.
"AND NO YELLING!" The rabbit yelled. He could have taken his own advice, don't you think. He saw the mess on a nearby desk, which happens to be his. "AND WHICH ONE OF YOU THREE HAVE BEEN MESSING WITH MY DESK?!"
The three young members have completely ignored him. The fox and bird were looking over the magazine.
"Hey, we should try out that place! It has the best crab on Corneria," the frog said.
"Yeah, that sounds great," the fox said.
"YOU THREE DEAF OR SOMETHING?!" The rabbit yelled. He shook his head in frustration. "I swear, it feels like I'm talking to myself here."
"Attention, Star Fox team! Spacecraft of unknown origin detected!" The robot reported.
"Unknown origin?" The rabbit asked.
"Wait, what?" The frog asked.
"This I gotta see," the bird said.
"ROB, put it on the monitor," the fox said.
"Affirmative," ROB said. The robot displayed the Gummi Ship fighting Star Wolf, but the rabbit was shocked to see it.
"Is that what I think it is?" The rabbit asked.
"What do you think it is?" The frog asked.
"Yeah, what is it, Peppy?" The fox asked.
"It's a Gummi Ship. I never thought I'd see one of those again," Peppy said.
"A Gummi what?" The bird asked.
"A Gummi Ship. They're not exactly common out here in the Lylat System since there aren't any Gummi Blocks. Seeing a Gummi Ship os considered a rare thing to happen," Peppy said.
"Yeah, and look who's attacking it," the bird said.
"It's Star Wolf," the fox said.
"Man, those guys are brutal," the frog said.
"I agree. We can't let those guys get away with this. Falco, Peppy, Slippy, get to the Arwings!" The fox said.
"On it, Fox!" Slippy said.
They raced to their spacecraft which are white and blue and has the same logo on the sides. They deploy with the large spacecraft and head out to the Gummi Ship.
"Open fire!" Fox ordered. The Arwings opened fire on the opposing spacecrafts. One of the crafts is struck, which is Andrew's.
"Those brats are toast!" Andrew growled.
"Wait, it wasn't them. Look!" Wolf said. Star Wolf saw the Arwings flying their way.
"Great! Star Fox," Andrew said.
"Ooh, time to take them out," Pigma said.
"That can come later, Pigma. Right now we retreat," Wolf said. He contacted the Gummi Ship. "We'll let you go for now, but no mercy if we ever meet again." He cuts contact with the couple.
"I don't know what that was about, but at least it's over," Sora said. The Gummi Ship receives another transmission.
"Attention, Gummi Ship, this is Fox McCloud of the Star Fox team. Is anyone in there injured?" Fox asked through their communications. Sora replied.
"Nobody is hurt, thanks to you," Sora said.
"Follow us back to the Great Fox and we can escort you to wherever you're going," Fox said.
"The Great what?" Sora asked.
"I think that's it right there," Kairi said, pointing to the large spacecraft. The Gummi Ship lands in the hangar of the Great Fox. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel stepped out of the Gummi Ship as the Star Fox team approached them.
"Star Wolf was picking a fight with a couple of kids? Man, those guys are nothing but cowards," Falco said.
"Is there anyone else in there with you?" Slippy asked.
"No, just us," Sora said.
"Just what are you two think you're doing out there? Shouldn't you two be at home or at school?" Peppy asked.
"Hold on, Peppy, they might have taken a wrong turn and got lost," Slippy said.
"Well, actually, we're sort of on an important mission," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"But you two were definitely brave out there, and you were able to hold your own against Star Wolf," Fox said.
"Thanks," Sora said.
"Anyway, my name's Fox McCloud, and I'm leader of the Star Fox team," Fox introduced himself.
"I'm Falco Lombardi, an ace pilot," Falco introduced.
"I'm Slippy Toad. And inventing's my thing," Slippy introduced.
"And I'm Peppy Hare. Now if you excuse me, I'm heading back to what I was doing," Peppy said as he grumbled to himself.
"Well, thanks for the save back there. My name's Sora, and this is Pikachu," Sora introduced.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"And my name's Kairi, and this is Angel," Kairi introduced.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Anyway, you think you fill us in on where we are?" Sora asked.
"You have no idea where you are? You two are in the Lylat System. And we were on our way to Corneria," Slippy said.
"Lylat System?" Sora asked.
"Pika?" Pikachu asked.
"Why don't you come with us? And we can talk about it," Fox said.
"Okay," Sora said.
The couples went with the Star Fox team and they walked into the room they were in before they were interrupted. Peppy continues to grumble to himself.
"I gotta say, this ship is amazing," Kairi said.
"Glad you think so, Kairi. Fox's dad was the one who built it along with Peppy there," Slippy said.
"Wait, Peppy?" Kairi asked.
"It's true. Peppy was a member of the original Star Fox, along with my dad, and the swine who double crossed them," Fox said.
"Wow, that's cool," Sora said.
"Chu," Pikachu said.
"My dad, James McCloud and Peppy were best friends. He thought me to never give up," Fox said. Sora just smiled, knowing his own father would tell him the same thing.
"He taught you the right stuff, if you ask me," Sora said.
"You mentioned you're on a mission, so what's the mission?" Slippy asked.
"Okay, we're not from the Lylat System as you guessed it. Kairi and I are from a different world, but we shouldn't be telling you too much, but we're traveling through different worlds and locking up their Keyholes," Sora explained.
"Keyhole?" Falco asked.
"Yeah, with these," Sora said as he and Kairi summoned their Keyblades.
"Whoa!" Slippy exclaimed. "That is so cool! What is it?"
"They're called Keyblades. They can be used to lock and unlock any lock. We've been locking up the Keyholes just so the Heartless can't do anything to the world," Sora said.
"The Heartless?" Fox asked.
"They're creatures that come out from the darkness in the hearts of people, and they're afraid of our Keyblades, so they'll keep coming after us," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel added.
"Sounds like a bunch of baloney. Creatures coming from the darkness in people's hearts sounds made-up," Peppy scoffed.
"I'm with the old bunny on this one," Falco agreed. "It sounds like something to scare little kids like the Boogeyman."
"But those big keys we saw seems real, and it was pretty cool," Slippy said.
"Anyway, what's the deal with those Star Wolf guys out there?" Sora asked.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Well, you should know about them since you brought it up," Fox said. He turned to ROB. "Hey, ROB, display the information we got on Star Wolf, would ya?"
"Affirmative," ROB said, acknowledging the Star Fox leader. ROB displayed the mugshots of each of the Star Wolf members.
"The monkey is Andrew Oikonny. He's an inexperienced pilot, but he's boastful and arrogant. The filthy swine is Pigma Dengar. He was a member of the original Star Fox team before he betrayed his fellow teammates. He's a greedy and dishonorable hog with a love for money and himself. The lizard is Leon Powalski. He's a specialist in assassinations. And finally, there's their ruthless leader, Wolf O'Donnell. Not only he's the leader and namesake of Star Wolf, but he's also the founder. He's a cunning fighter and cutthroat. The Star Wolf team are all wanted criminals," Fox explained.
"They had in for us for a long time, and we're always dealing with them," Peppy said.
"Say, weren't we heading for Corneria? I mean, if we hurry, we can have that crab I was talking about," Slippy said.
"Yeah, that sounds great, Slip," Fox said.
"This isn't a vacation!" Peppy exclaimed, alerting the youngsters. "In case you've forgotten, we still have Andross's army to deal with! In case any of you have forgotten, the Cornerian Army and Andross's forces have been at war with each other for years, and you guys are treating it like it's a game!"
"Because there's nothing to worry about. Corneria's defenses are totally unpenetratable, so there's no way Andross thinks he stands a chance," Slippy said.
"Andross?" Sora asked.
"Who's he?" Kairi asked. Peppy displayed a portrait of an ape's face. He has white hair and sharp teeth and gray eyebrows, and an evil expression.
"This is Andross. He was once a scientist of Corneria until he went rouge and almost destroyed the Lylat System. Fortunately, he was stopped before he could successfully render the Lylat System into extinction, so General Pepper banished Andross to the quarantine planet of Venom," Peppy explained.
"I'm guessing that didn't stop him," Kairi said.
"No, it didn't. Five years later, General Pepper found out that Andross was up to something, so he sent James, myself, and Pigma to look into it, but it turns out to be a trap as Pigma betrayed us and I was the only one who made it back. I had to break it to Fox," Peppy explained. Kairi just gave a light gasp.
"Star Fox was retired until I brought it out of retirement just recently. My dad figured I was going have to lead when the time came, and it did," Fox said.
"Well, I would say your dad made the right call, Fox," Sora said. That made Fox smile.
"Thanks, Sora," Fox said. Just then an alarm starts going off. "ROB, report!"
"Distress signal received. Communications opened," ROB said.
The screen displays an anthropomorphic golden hound wearing a red uniform.
"Star Fox, come in! Do you read me?" The dog asked.
"General Pepper! What's going on?" Fox asked.
"Corneria's under attack from Andross's army!" General Pepper said.
"Andross's army?!" Slippy exclaimed.
"You were saying, Slippy?" Sora asked. The screen shows footage of a swirling pink fortress above the city.
"What is that thing?" Falco asked. Peppy gasped in horror as he knew what it was. Several spacecrafts came flying out of the vortex. Heartless appeared in the city as well. The Heartless were Shadows, Soldiers, Large Bodies, Air Soldiers, Powerwilds, Bouncywilds, Fighterwilds, Darkballs, and Neoshadows.
"Heartless!" Kairi gasped.
"Those are Heartless? They look scary," Slippy shivered.
Several robots came out of the vortex as well.
"We need your help, Star Fox!" General Pepper said.
"We're on our way, General!" Fox said. He turned to the rest of the team. "Guys, it looks like escorting these two will have to wait. Dealing with Andross's army just became our top priority!"
"Fox is right! We gotta stop them!" Peppy said.
"We wanna help!" Sora said.
"No, it's too dangerous! You two are safe up here!" Peppy said.
"Look, you guys helped us out, so it's only fair that we pay you back! And you saw us holding our own against Star Wolf! Besides, you don't know the Heartless like we do, and we're your only chance against them!" Sora argued.
"Look-" Peppy was cut off.
"We don't have time to argue! And Sora's right. If they can handle themselves against Star Wolf, then they can handle themselves out in the battlefield! Slippy, we still have those spare Arwings, don't we?" Fox asked.
"Yeah, we do! They can use those!" Slippy said.
"Okay. Gear up, all of you!" Fox said.
"Great Fox approaching Corneria's orbit now," ROB said.
"Star Fox team, move out!" Fox ordered.
Joining the Star Fox team, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel raced to the hangar to pilot the Arwings and stop Andross from succeeding in dominating Corneria.
"How did these creeps even get through the city's defenses?" Falco asked.
"Teleportation!" Peppy asked. Falco just looked at him.
"Huh?" Falco asked.
"They used a teleportation device!" Peppy said.
"How could Andross have a thing like that?" Slippy asked.
"We can worry about that later! Right now we gotta deal with Andross's forces!" Fox said.
"Right!" Sora, Kairi, and the rest of the Star Fox team said. They climbed into the Arwings as Slippy gave them a brief teaching of how to activate the Arwings.
"Did that sink in?" Slippy asked.
"It sunk in deep!" Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"And don't forget your visors! We can use these to better lock-on our targets!" Slippy said.
"I guess you're good for something," Falco said.
"Okay, now that we got that out of the way, let's rock and roll!" Fox said. The six Arwings have deployed from the Great Fox and flew out to Corneria's ocean. "Open the wings!" The wings opened as they flew. "Check your G-Diffuser system."
"Flaco here. I'm fine," Falco said.
"This is Peppy. All systems go," Peppy said.
"Slippy here. I'm Okay," Slippy said.
"Sora standing by," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Kairi reporting for duty," Kairi said.
"Vee," Angel said.
"Okay, everyone! We're off!" Fox said.
The Arwings have begun their assault as a small squad of Andross's army have spotted them. Slippy flew out ahead of them.
"Slippy, get back here!" Peppy said. An enemy fighter gets behind Slippy's Arwing. "Watch out, Slippy! You got a bogey on your tail!"
"Help me!" Slippy cried.
"I'm coming, Slippy!" Fox said. He fired at the enemy ships, destroying them.
"Thanks, Fox. Thought they had me," Slippy said.
"Look alive, boys, because more of them are coming our way. And they brought some friends with them," Kairi said.
And she was right, because enemy fighters were coming out and they were accompanied by Flying Saucers. The Flying Saucers were firing at the Arwings, so Sora quickly made use of the breaks and fired at the flying Heartless, destroying it.
"Nice shot, Kairi!" Slippy said.
"Yeah, not bad," Fox said.
"Don't pat yourself on the back yet, little lady, because more of them are coming our way," Peppy said. The enemy ships and the Flying Saucers are ganging up on Fox, so he does a barrel roll and fired at them.
"We're entering Corneria City now," Fox said.
As they entered, they saw destruction and devastation everywhere.
"This is horrible," Falco said.
"Awful," Kairi said.
"Everybody, stay alert," Peppy said.
The Arwings fired right at the enemy robots and the Heartless. Sora's Arwing was struck by one of the enemy fire, so Sora returned the favor.
"Sora, are you okay?" Kairi asked.
"I'm hit, but not too bad. It's gonna take more than that to take me down," Sora said.
"Don't get cocky out there, kid. They ain't playing around out here," Falco said.
"And neither are we," Fox said.
Peppy fired at the Flying Saucers as a robot took a beam and threw it at the Arwings. The Arwings dodged the attack and kept firing at the robots.
"There's no end to these guys!" Sora said.
Falco's Arwing ends up being chased by one of Andross's fighters. Falco tried to shake him off.
"I got one n my tail!" Falco said.
"I got you, Falco!" Kairi said, shooting down the fighter.
"I guess I should be thankful," Falco sarcastically said.
"You're welcome," Kairi deadpanned.
"Vee," Angel also deadpanned. Kairi and Angel felt a hit on the side. She turned to her left and saw a small sum of Andross's forces shooting on her.
"Someone help!" Kairi cried.
"I'm coming!" Sora said. He flew his Arwing and shot down the enemy fighters. "You're safe now, Kairi."
"Remind me to kiss you later," Kairi said.
"Noted," Sora said.
"You might want to save it for later, because we got an enemy robot dead ahead!" Slippy said.
"Wha?! Sora exclaimed. A large robot appeared.
"All-range Mode!" Fox said.
The Arwings spreads their wings and fired at the enemy robot. Their communications are hacked by a monkey soldier.
"Ah, so this is Star Fox. I'm surprised you made it this far," the monkey said.
"And you're one of Andross's goons," Sora said.
"Goon?! How dare you?! I'm going to crush you like the pathetic little insects that you are!" The monkey soldier said. The robot fired right at the Arwings, but they dodged the laser fire. "You annoying little flies!"
"Slippy, where's that shield analysis?" Falco asked.
"Analyzing now! If we take out one of its legs, it should fall over! And we'll attack its rear!" Slippy said.
"You heard him, guys! Let's do this!" Fox said.
"Open fire!" Sora said.
The Arwings fired at one of the robot's legs, dealing some damage and taking it down. The rear is exposed.
"There it is!" Slippy said.
"Take it out!" Peppy said.
The Arwings fired at the robot, finished it off.
"My emperor! I failed you!" The monkey soldier exclaimed before it explodes.
"That takes care of that!" Slippy said.
"We're not done yet, Slip! We still got some bad guys to deal with!" Sora said.
"He's right. General Pepper needs help!" Peppy said.
The Arwings flew out to the city and they spotted several enemy robots climbing over a tower.
"Look at how many there are!" Sora gasped.
"Chu!" Pikachu said.
"Somebody's kicked over an ant's nest!" Falco said.
General Pepper contacts Star Fox.
"I knew you'd come, Star Fox," General Pepper said.
"General, are you okay, and where are you?" Fox asked.
"I'm fine. And I'm held up in the top floor of the tower. You must hurry and destroy these monstrosities at all costs!" General Pepper said.
"We're on it!" Fox said.
The Arwings fired at the enemy fighters and the Heartless. The Neoshadows jumped on, but Sora shook them off and fired at them. Just when their numbers were dwindling, a large robot gorilla with red cores.
"What the heck is that thing?!" Falco exclaimed.
"I don't know, but we'll have to take it out before it destroys the city!" Fox said. The Arwings flew at the robot gorilla and opened fire on it. "No use!"
"Not even a scratch on it!" Sora said.
"That thing's too powerful for our lasers!" Peppy said.
"I've been doing a shield analysis on that thing! Its weak spots are those red things on its body! If we concentrate our fire on those red things, we can take it out!" Slippy said.
"Okay, everyone! Aim for the red spots!" Fox ordered. The six Arwings fired at the red cores, disabling the robot gorilla. Once the last one was destroyed, it fell apart and exploded. They receive communications from the enemy.
"How dare you destroy the Gigarilla! You'll pay for this with your lives!" The monkey soldier said. Something was slowly moving through the clouds, catching Falco's attention.
"Hey, something's coming from above," Falco said.
A large massive, dark red ship appeared above them.'
"I'll squash you like the insects that you are!" A monkey soldier said.
"Yeah, someone else already called us that," Sora said.
"Okay, everyone, switch to Target Mode and take down that enemy ship!" Fox said.
"I got the enemy shield up. We take out the cannons on that thing and we'll take it apart," Slippy said.
"Falco, Sora, Kairi, you're with me! Falco, Slippy, you deal with the rest of the enemy!" Fox said.
"On it, Fox!" Peppy said.
"You can count on us," Slippy said.
"We're right behind you, Fox!" Sora said.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said.
Sora, Kairi, and Fox fired at the cannons of the flying fortress and destroyed a chunk of it.
"No! Retaliate! Hurry!" The monkey soldier yelled. The fortress fired at the Arwings with lasers and missiles.
"Watch out!" Kairi exclaimed.
The Arwings managed to dodge the lasers, nearly getting hit.
"Come and get me!" Falco taunted.
"If you wanna catch me, you'll have to do better than that!" Fox said.
The missiles chased after the Arwings. Sora tried to shake the one chasing him off, but it was no use. He then remembered a trick he used on Misty during his battle against her and he gets an idea.
"Guys, I got an idea. How about we give the missiles right back to them?" Sora suggested.
"I like that plan," Falco said.
"Me too! You down with that, Kairi?" Fox asked.
"One hundred percent!" Kairi said.
They guided the missiles, making them chase after them.
"Idiots! What good is a guided missile if it comes right back?!" The monkey soldier said.
"Now!" Sora yelled as the Arwings flew upwards and went inside the fortress hull and hits the core inside.
Inside the flying fortress, the soldiers tried to maintain their systems.
"The main reactor has been destroyed!" One of the soldiers said.
"This isn't happening!" The monkey soldier roared.
The flying fortress crashed into the ground below and explodes.
Inside the tower, the soldiers, all being anthropomorphic dogs all cheered as General Pepper gave a salute to their saviors.
"Well done, Star Fox," General Pepper said.
Over to the Arwings, they flew up together as Fox gave the word.
"We're heading out. All units report!" Fox said.
"I'm fine. You okay over there, Fox?" Falco asked.
"I'm good! That was a close one," Slippy said.
"You're becoming more like your father, Fox," Peppy said.
"A-okay, Fox," Sora said.
"Pi, Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said.
"All good," Kairi said.
"Eevee, vee!" Angel said.
"Gotta hand it to you, Sora, that was a clever move sending those missiles right back at them like that," Falco said.
"Just an old trick I used before. Remember, buddy?" Sora asked.
"Pika," Pikachu nodded.
"You got loads of spunk, Sora," Peppy said.
"Alright, let's head back to the Great Fox. We're just getting started," Fox said.
Five out of six Arwings flew up back to the Great Fox as General Pepper contacts Peppy.
"This transmission's only for you. You know what this attack means. Andross has dared to rebuild that device," General Pepper said.
"Yes," Peppy replied.
"I know I can trust you to do the right thing. Keep this quiet. Your teammates must never know the truth," General Pepper said.
"I understand," Peppy said. He boosts up his Arwing and caught up with the rest of them.
Meanwhile, in the planet Venom, Andross is watching from the planet and he grinned.
"So James McCloud's son has brought the Star Fox team back. Not only that, but the holders of the Keyblade have arrived to the Lylat System. This should be interesting," Andross said as he evilly laughed.
