After rescuing Slippy from a monstrous alien creature, Sora, Kairi, Star Fox, Pikachu, and Angel returned to the Great Fox to get started on their next mission.
"It looks like we're needed here in Sector Y," Fox said.
"The Cornerian Army was ambushed by Andross's forces and they need a hand," Peppy said.
"Then, let's lend a hand. They need help, don't they?" Sora asked.
"They do. Everyone, get to your Arwings and get ready to party!" Fox said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Star Fox, Pikachu, and Angel raced to the Arwings and boarded them.
Over to Sector Y, the Cornarian Army engages Andross's fleet, but several ape-like mechas holding huge blasters and wielding shields fires at a Cornarian military ship, blowing it up into bits. They spotted the Arwings flying in.
"Here they come," Sora said.
"Let's back up the squadron," Fox said.
"Somebody's gonna pay for all this," Falco said.
"Yeah, through the nose!" Kairi said.
"Something's wrong. I don't see anything," Slippy said.
"Keep your eyes opened, Slippy. They gotta be here," Fox said.
"Yeah, but where?" Sora asked.
Suddenly, Andross's army ambushed them from right above the Arwings.
"It's an ambush! It's coming from above!" Peppy exclaimed as several enemy fighters and mechas flew right in. "Don't let any of them through!"
"Open fire, boys!" Kairi said.
Sora and Kairi shoots at the fighters, taking them down as several more fighters and enemy ships flew in.
"Good job! But the enemy's coming in from behind!" Peppy said. Fox fired some shots at the enemy ships, hitting them. "I'll take care of everything below!"
"Aha! Thought you could escape from me, did you? I don't think so!" Slippy said, shooting at them. "Ha! Gotcha!"
"Slippy, behind you!" Kairi exclaimed. Slippy saw several enemy fighters coming up. He screamed as he's being shot at.
"Fox, Falco, Peppy, Kairi, Sora, anyone! Help!" Slippy exclaimed.
"I'm coming, Slip!" Fox said, shooting at the enemy fighters, saving Slippy's life.
"You saved me again," Slippy said.
"Anytime, Slippy Now, let's break through that fleet!" Fox said.
With that said, the Arwings shot down many fighters and mechas, destroying several of Andross's ships. When they managed to break through the fleet, Slippy picks up something on his radar.
"Guys, there's something up ahead, and it looks different," Slippy said.
"All craft, go to All-range mode," Fox ordered.
The Arwings have gone to All-range mode Just then, a blue mecha came and opened fire on the Arwings. They were having a hard time shooting at it.
"Geez, quit moving around!" Falco barked.
The Arwings kept on firing and firing, but Fox had a new plan on how to deal with this particular problem.
"All Arwings, use your bombs! Maybe we can catch him by surprise!" Fox said.
"Right," Sora, Kairi, and the rest of Star Fox said. They fired their bombs and they struck the mecha, destroying it in the process.
"We got him!" Sora said.
"Pi, Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
Just then, another ship came flying in with another new mecha.
"Don't party just yet," the monkey pilot said as he took off. "It's time to try out our new weapon. I'm coming for ya!" The mecha flew right at the Arwings, shooting at them. It was a tad faster and stronger than the mecha they already destroyed.
"And we're coming for you!" Sora said, shooting at the mecha. It was moving too fast for him.
"Cocky little freaks!" The monkey pilot said. The mecha kept on firing and firing at the Arwings and they kept on dodging, but Kairi was hit by the laser.
"Kairi!" Sora exclaimed.
"Someone help!" Kairi exclaimed. Sora grits his teeth as he flew in and he fired at the mecha.
"What's wrong? Is that it?" The monkey pilot asked.
"Here's some more!" Sora said, getting close.
"You're a brave one. I'll take you out first, but I'll do it from the ship," the monkey pilot said, heading for the ship. Once Sora was close enough, he fired a bomb, hitting the mecha. The pilot screamed as the mecha exploded, dealing some heavy damage on the ship.
The remains of fleet was completely wiped out by the Cornarian Army.
"Kairi, are you okay?" Sora asked.
"I'm fine, but that was a reckless stunt you pulled! I didn't want to lose you again!" Kairi said.
"I'm sorry, Kairi, but I couldn't let those guys blast you into space dust. Besides, you would do the same thing for me," Sora said. Kairi blushed as Angel nuzzled her.
"Everyone, just got orders from General Pepper. We're going to be heading for Aquas. Everyone back to the Great Fox," Fox said.
"Yeah, boy! That means we're finally going to use the Bluemarine!" Slippy exclaimed.
"Bluemarine? Aquas?" Sora asked.
"Pika?" Pikachu asked.
"We'll fill you in on the Great Fox," Slippy said.
The Arwings boarded the Great Fox and left Sector Y and approached for a blue planet. They were informed that the Bluemarine is an oceanic planet, so they will be using a submarine that Slippy invented, calling it the "Bluemarine". Sora and Kairi were even more impressed by Slippy's skills. They couldn't help but wonder if Bentley would think of the same thing for the Cooper Van.
"Here it is. Aquas," Peppy said.
"Just what could Andross be hoping to do with that world?" Falco asked.
"According to General Pepper, Andross has placed a bio-weapon down there, and we have to take it out before it causes some serious damage," Fox said.
"So how's it going to go down, Fox?" Sora asked.
"Sora, Kairi, you're with me. The rest of you can monitor us from the Great Fox to keep tabs on us in case Andross shows up," Fox said.
"Gee, why is it those two with you, Fox?" Falco asked.
"Well, there could be Heartless down there, so you'll never know," Fox said.
"Besides, you're the one who said you wouldn't be caught dead in my little toy, Falco," Slippy pointed out.
"And I tend to get sea sick," Peppy said.
"Are we going to stand around and talk or are we going to take the fight to whatever Andross has down there?" Sora asked.
"Sora's right. Let's get moving. ROB, take her down to the planet's surface," Fox said.
"Affirmative," ROB said.
The Great Fox makes a landing in the vast ocean, taking afloat. Sora, Kairi, Fox, Pikachu, and Angel boards the Bluemarine. A school of fish swims by underneath the Great Fox, but scatters when the Bluemarine is deployed.
Upon being deployed, saw how amazing Aquas looked on the outside.
"It's so pretty down here," Kairi said in awe.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Yeah, it is," Sora said.
"It won't be if we don't take out that bio-weapon," Fox said.
Bluemarine cruises through the vast ocean, so they kept their eyes opened for any signs of Andross's army and the Heartless.
"So how's the Bluemarine, Fox?" Slippy asked.
"Works like a charm, Slip. Glad you were prepared for this," Fox said.
They weren't disappointed when a new Heartless appeared from out of the blue. It greatly resembled a great white shark, but it has blue on its upper half and has the Heartless emblem on its chest area and on both sides of its dorsal fin. It has the Heartless yellow eyes to boot. This Heartless shall be known as the Great Blue Shark.
"A Heartless!" Sora and Kairi exclaimed. The Great Blue Shark swam towards them, attempting to bite down on the Bluemarine, but it avoids the shark-like Heartless, so Fox fired a torpedo, but it dodged. Sora wondered if his magic would work from inside the Bluemarine to the outside, so he had to give it a shot. He focuses on the Great Blue Shark, so he casts a balloon spell, hitting it.
"Nice shot," Fox said.
"I didn't know we could pull that off," Kairi said.
"Me neither," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Great Fox to Bluemarine! Is everything okay down there? We just picked something up on our radar, but it suddenly disappeared," Slippy said.
"Everything's okay, Slip. A Heartless was spotted, so Sora got rid of it," Fox said.
"That's a relief," Slippy said.
"Fox, we picked up some activity just up ahead of you. The pollution has started," Peppy said before a huff is heard.
"Man, is nothing sacred?" Sora asked, feeling irritated.
"Thanks for the heads-up. We'll look into it," Fox said.
They saw several aquatic robots, so Fox fired torpedoes at the robots, taking them out. They cruised through what looks like an underwater city in ruins. Along the way, several aquatic robots appeared and shot them out of the way. Once they were out of the way, they found what looks like a giant clam-like monster.
"Fox, there's an enormous lifeform right in front of you," Slippy said.
"You're a few seconds too late to tell me that," Fox said.
"Oh, man, that thing is huge," Kairi said.
"I think we're gonna need a bigger submarine," Sora said.
"Slippy, any idea what this thing's weak points are?" Fox asked.
"There are two columns on its shell, so I suggest you shoot at those, and you can force it to open up, and then you can aim for its eyes," Slippy said.
"Got it!" Fox said, firing at the giant clam creature. As Fox fires on the columns, it unleashed several lasers and shoots out pearls, so Fox swerved the Bluemarine to avoid the attacks. Fox managed to destroy the columns, so the creature opened its shell.
"It opened up! Shoot it in the eye!" Sora said. Fox does keep on shooting at the creature in the eye with the torpedoes. "Look at that!"
"Fox is actually hurting it! Keep going, Fox!" Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
With one more torpedo, the creature is destroyed at last.
"It's dead!" Sora exclaimed.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
Fox smiled as he made contact with the Great Fox.
"Bluemarine to Great Fox. The target is destroyed. We're preparing to dock!" Fox said. The Bluemarine returns to the Great Fox. "The Bluemarine came through, Slip."
"Slippy's not such a screw up after all," Peppy said.
Thanks a lot, Peppy," Slippy said with a sour tone.
"You guys did okay," Falco said.
"You don't know how to swim, do you, Falco?" Sora asked.
"Hey, fish swims, I fly," Falco said.
"You know there are birds that swims. They're called penguins," Slippy said. Sora, Kairi, Fox, Pikachu, and Angel all laughed.
Once the Bluemarine returned to the Great Fox, it took off and headed off for their next mission. It's right to a nauseous green planet known as Zoness.
"Something tells me that place doesn't look so very clean," Kairi said.
"Well, Zoness isn't known for its cleanliness, Kairi. It's been a toxic waste dump for years," Falco said.
"And there's talk that there's an enemy base on Zoness, so we gotta take it out," Slippy said.
"Slippy's right. Andross is going to use it to make a mess of things here if we just shrug it off," Sora said.
"Pika, Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee, vee," Angel said.
"Okay, everyone. Our mission starts now. Let's go!" Fox said. With that said, Sora, Kairi, Star Fox, Pikachu, and Angel boarded in the Arwings and deployed for Zoness. "Let's sneak in low to surprise 'em."
"This place is even worse than I thought," Peppy said.
"Hard to believe that those smelly apes did this," Falco said.
"What a dump," Slippy said.
"You've said it, Slippy. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy," Falco said.
"Well, after this mission, you won't have to," Fox said.
As the Arwings flew on, they spotted searchlights up ahead of them.
"Searchlights dead ahead," Slippy said.
"We better stay out of those or else they'll know that we're here," Sora said.
"I agree. Let's take them out," Falco said.
With that said, Falco shot down the searchlights, disabling them.
"Well, the good news is that they don't know that we're here yet," Fox said.
"But the bad news is that it won't be long until they catch on," Peppy said.
"I think you're right, Peppy, because there's a witness," Sora said, pointing to what looks like an orb-like robot with spider-legs. It opened fire on the Arwings, so Sora and Peppy took it out.
Just then, several more robots came and launched their attack on the Arwings.
"I got a bogey on my tail! I can't shake him!" Slippy said as one of them chases him.
"I got ya, Slip!" Fox said, shooting at the robot, destroying it.
"Whoo! That was close. I thought I was a goner. I owe you my life again," Slippy said.
"Just try to stay out of trouble, and it won't be a regular thing with us," Fox said.
Just then, Katt, Fay, and Miyu came in the scene along with the Arwings.
"Hey, you guys. Sounds like you're having a lot of fun here," Fay said.
"So we decided to join in since we can't have you have all the fun," Miyu said.
"We're closing in on them, Falco," Katt said.
"What?! Katt?!" Falco exclaimed.
"Miyu? Fay?" Fox asked.
"What are you doing here?" Falco asked.
"Just saving your feathers," Katt said in a flirting tone.
Swimming through the water is a massive dark green robot that strongly resembles a sea serpent.
"Hey, watch out!" Slippy exclaimed.
The metallic sea serpent tried to snatch at them, but they dodged the attack. Fox launched a bomb and destroyed the head.
"I got someone on my tail!" Katt said.
"Help is coming your way, Katt!" Kairi said, shooting at the fighter that was chasing her. She saved the pink cat.
"Thanks for the hand, kitten," Katt said.
"Anytime," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
The Arwings and the other three fighters kept on firing at the enemy robots when they came across tankers floating ahead of them.
"Guys, sink those boats!" Fox said.
"Down you go!" Sora said.
Sora, Kairi, and Star Fox shot down the tankers, sinking them into the murky water. Then, several fighters came and attacked with a vengeance.
"These guys don't quit!" Falco said.
"Neither do we!" Sora said.
Just then, several barrels are seen rolling on the water.
"What is that?" Kairi asked.
"I don't know, but it looks like a trap," Peppy said.
"They appear to be coming from the sea," Slippy said.
And he was right because the source of the barrels surfaced from underneath and the monkey officer from inside laughed evilly.
"Disrespectful little whelps!" The monkey officer said. "I'll teach ye some respect!"
"This guy thinks he's a pirate," Sora said.
"If he is, then we'll make him walk the plank," Kairi said.
The machine shot out its spiked ball, making the Arwings move out of the way, so they fired right at the machine, but it shot back at the fighters. It shot out cannonballs as well as barrels.
"Aim for those hatches!" Sora said, shooting at one. Fox shoots at another, taking it out.
"Drop the crane now!" The monkey officer ordered. The crane drops, but Kairi managed to use a bomb to take the crane out. "Oh, shoot!"
"Take it out, no matter what!" Fox exclaimed. And the Arwings kept on firing at the machine as it kept fighting back. The lasers weren't even denting its armor, but the weak points were struck hard right until it explodes with the monkey officer inside, screaming as he perished. "All aircraft report!" The Arwings gathered the leader of Star Fox.
"A-okay, partner," Sora said.
"Pi, Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"I'm good," Kairi said.
"Eevee, vee!" Angel said.
"I'm fine, I'm fine!" Slippy said.
"Everything's a-okay!" Peppy said.
"I'm good here," Falco said.
"I certainly had fun," Katt said.
"Me too! We should do this again," Fay said.
"Like we already did, Fay?" Miyu asked.
"Thanks for the help, girls," Sora said.
"Not a problem," Fay said.
"So, Fox, where to next?" Kairi asked.
"Sector Z," Fox said. Everyone heads for the Great Fox to get ready for the next battle. Fox knew that he was closer than ever to deal with Andross. The Great Fox has cruised right through Sector Z, but they received a transmission from General Pepper. "General. Something we can do for you?"
"You could say that, Fox. We just gotten word that the enemy is gunning for you," General Pepper said.
"After giving those guys a hard time, it's no wonder. They won't take it with a laugh," Sora said.
"Yes. It's my belief that Andross has learned of your exploits and he's ordering your destruction post-haste," General Pepper said.
"Don't worry, sir. We can handle ourselves," Fox said.
"I hope you're right," General Pepper said, breaking contact.
The Great Fox's alarm starts going off.
"Enemy approaching from the left," ROB reported.
"Let's make our visitors feel welcomed," Fox said.
Sora, Kairi, Star Fox, Pikachu, and Angel heads for the Arwings and took flight to meet the enemy. The fighters opened fire as soon as the Arwings left the Great Fox.
"Nice welcome!" Falco said.
"Okay, guys! Take out everything that shoots at us!" Fox ordered.
With that said, the Arwings fired at the enemy fighters, taking out any that crossed their path. There were times that one or two of them got behind them, but they managed to take them out, so Katt, Fay, and Miyu arrived and shot down the fighters, helping them out. Just then, a missile is launched, aiming for the Great Fox.
"Six missiles coming from the left," ROB reported.
"You gotta be kidding me!" Sora exclaimed.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Andross isn't taking any chances here," Fox said.
"Missile 1 approaching. Distance 50," ROB said.
"Our priority is taking out those missiles!" Fox said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, and Fox flew and shot down the first missile before it could even reach the Great Fox.
"Ons down, five to go," Sora said.
"Missiles 2 and 3 approaching," ROB said. Sora, Kairi, and Fox flew to take out the two missiles already coming their way. "Missiles 4, 5, and 6 approaching."
"Not for long," Sora said.
The Arwings fired at the approaching missiles, destroying them and saving the Great Fox. Seeing that they failed, Andross's army began to retreat.
"They're getting away!" Kairi said.
"Let them go! There's no point in chasing after them when we already know where they're heading," Fox said. "ROB, status report on the Great Fox!"
"Great Fox remains undamaged," ROB reported.
"Good," Fox said. "Our next stop is going to be Venom."
Meanwhile, Andross has gotten word that his army has failed to destroy the Great Fox, but he wasn't surprised by the progress they have obtained.
"Fox McCloud is much like his father than I anticipated. Clearly I have underestimated him. What's more, the Keyblade wielders are proving to be more of a handful than Ganondorf said. Once the barrier is destroyed, he'll come to Venom, and he'll bring the Keyblade wielders with him. And that is where I will destroy them once and for all. And then, the Lylat System will be mine," Andross said as he snarled.
The Great Fox approached Area 6 since it's near Venom. They came this far and they have to make it count.
"Here it is. Area 6," Fox said.
"That's where the other barrier is located, right?" Kairi asked.
"Vee?" Angel asked.
"Yes. And once it's destroyed, we can take the final fight to Andross himself," Peppy said.
"Today's the day that we're finally going to end the Lylat Wars. Star Fox Team, move out!" Fox said.
With that said, the Arwings flew out to action. Katt, Fay, and Miyu joined in the fray to start the final fight against Andross and his forces.
Further ahead, a few fighters flew around, searching for any signs of enemy ships.
"Caiman here. No problems," the monkey officer reported. Just then, one of the fighters were shot down, and it was Fox who made the shot. "Do you copy? Emergency maneuvers!"
"Too late! Game over, pal!" Falco exclaimed.
"There's Venom!" Fay said.
"Entering Venom Defesne Zone!" Fox said.
"Everybody stay alert!" Peppy said.
"Space mines ahead!" Slippy reported.
The fighters shot at the space mines and pretty much the space stations as well. Several enemy fighters came out firing at the squadron, but they all fought back.
"Great Fox will cover you," ROB said. ROB fired from the Great Fox, taking out several space stations.
"Did we get 'em?" A lizard officer asked.
"Not yet, sir," a monkey officer reported.
"Just a little further," Fox said.
Just then, Andross has made contact with the Arwings.
"Ah, Fox McCloud, the son of James McCloud," Andross said.
"Andross!" Fox growled.
"That's Andross?" Sora asked.
"It is," Fox replied.
"Those tin cans are no match for me! I'm looking forward to this!" Andross said.
The Arwings kept on firing at the enemy fighters and made it halfway towards their destination.
"They've broken through the first line!" A monkey officer said.
The Arwings keeps on firing and firing at the enemy fighters and the ships that suddenly appeared in front of them.
"We're gonna break through that fleet!" Fox said.
The Arwings make their way towards Venom, getting past the destroyed ships.
"They made it through the second line!" Another monkey officer exclaimed.
"Fire! Fire! Don't let them through!" The lizard officer ordered.
The Arwings kept on going, firing at the enemy fighters and the Gummi Heartless that came and attacked. They found the barrier generator and they blasted it.
"The last line has been breached! And the barrier generator has been taken out!" The monkey officer exclaimed.
"These guys must be crazy!" The lizard officer yelled.
"Now we can get to Venom!" Sora said.
"Wait! There's something up ahead!" Slippy exclaimed.
"Crud! And we were so close to Venom!" Falco exclaimed.
Just then, a large round robot appeared and opened up. It lets out its robotic tentacles and attacked.
"Slippy, what's this thing's weakness?" Kairi asked.
"Okay, the core of this thing has to be on the inside, so when it opens up, we shoot at it until it blows up!" Slippy said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, and the Star Fox Team fires at the tentacles as it fires its missiles. The Arwings avoids the tentacles by hovering around and they kept on shooting and shooting. They managed to destroy its tentacles just so it won't grab them. When it opened up, it fires a laser beam, cascading in multiple colors.
"Watch out!" Falco exclaimed.
It shuts and opens up to show three energy balls swirling around.
"Shoot those energy balls!" Fox said. Sora, Kairi, and Fox fired at the energy balls, destroying them. "The shield is down! Shoot the core!" They fired at the core, destroying it once and for all.
"It's gone," Sora said.
"Chu," Pikachu said.
"Now, our next stop is Venom. Andross is expecting us, so we're flying straight down to Venom's surface," Fox said. The other Arwings followed Fox's Arwing as they entered Venom's atmosphere. The planet is a mass desert planet. Ahead of them was Andross's palace. "Say your prayers, Andross!"
Just when they were close, Star Wolf have appeared from out of the blue.
"Don't get too cocky, Star Fox," Wolf said.
"We knew you would come here sooner or later, so we've been waiting," Leon said.
"Too bad dad's not here to see you FAIL!" Pigma snorted as he laughed.
"We'll make sure you never reach Andross!" Andrew said.
"Star Wolf again?" Sora asked.
"Leon, Andrew, Pigma, we kill Star Fox, but the Keyblade holding kids we take alive!" Wolf said.
"Oh, I'll try not to rough them up too much," Pigma said as he snorted.
"Oh, you'll try alright, Star Wolf!" Sora said.
"We're not afraid of you!" Kairi said.
The fight between Star Fox and Star Wolf have begun as they fired at one another. They shoot down the Star Wolf members, one by one, beginning with Leon.
"They're too strong!" Leon said, going down.
"This can't be happening!" Pigma exclaimed as he went down.
"Not again! Uncle Andross!" Andrew yelled.
"No way! I can't believe it! Defeated by a fox and some kids?!" Wolf exclaimed.
"Now for Andross's palace!" Fox said, flying for it.
"We're right with you, Fox!" Kairi said.
"Sora, Kairi, what are you doing? Andross is my fight!" Fox said.
"Fox, we're in this together, so we'll be tagging along with you!" Sora said.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee, vee!" Angel said.
Fox didn't say anything after that, but he had to admit, he was lucky to have some friends willing to look out for him.
"Okay, guys. Let's go!" Fox said, leading the couple. Andross made contact with their Arwings.
"Welcome, Fox, Sora, and Kairi. I have been expecting you. I must admit, I have underestimated you, but I have become even wiser since you've come all this way," Andross said. Fox growled.
"You're the only one left, Andross! So you might as well just give it up!" Sora said.
"You would think so, boy? I'm afraid not! I control the galaxy! It's foolish to come against me! And now, you will know true pain," Andross said.
"You can scare us all you want, Andross, but we don't get scared easily!" Sora said. The Arwings have arrived to Andross as he is only a floating head, much to their surprise. Then, two clawed hands floats right beside him. Andross laughed evilly.
"Perhaps I shall do so the hard way!" Andross said as he unleashed lightning from his floating fingers. He unleashed his wrath as Sora, Kairi, and Fox kept firing at Andross's hands and eyes. "Has Pepper made you his lackey already? I shouldn't be surprised. Your father was the same way. It was a sight I never thought I would see: a fox taking orders from a dog. And what's more, two children with powerful weapons at their disposal to fend off the darkness. Such a waste."
"Quit talking!" Fox yelled.
Andross began to suck them in like a vacuum, but Fox fired a bomb into Andross's mouth, making steam come out his ears. He suddenly explodes, but it left behind a brain and two eyeballs held by lasers.
"Only I have the brains to rule Lylat!" Andross said.
"Is that supposed to be a pun, because it was a very poor one!" Kairi said.
"What she said!" Sora said, agreeing with his girlfriend.
"So, Andross, you showed your true form!" Fox said.
"And a sickly one at that," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Vee," Angel said.
They took out the eyeballs, but the brain of Andross proved to be a challenge as it disappeared and reappeared as with his laughter echoing. Sora and Kairi kept shooting at Andross, so Fox launched his last bomb at Andross's brain.
"Alright!" Sora cheered.
"Don't celebrate yet!" Andross snarled as he prepared to explode. "If I go down, I'm taking you three with me! Prepare to die, Fox McCloud!" Andross explodes as Sora, Kairi, and Fox screamed. Just then, a new voice spoke.
"Don't ever give up, my son," a voice said. Sora and Kairi heard the voice, surprised that there was someone else there.
"Who said that?" Sora asked. Fox recognized his voice.
"Dad?!" Fox exclaimed.
"Wait a minute! Are you James McCloud?" Kairi asked.
"There is no time for smalltalk. Follow me," James McCloud said as another Arwing appeared. Sora, Kairi, and Fox followed the other Arwing through Andross's crumbling palace. "Never give up. Trust your instincts." They kept on following James McClouds's Arwing right until it disappeared. "You've become so strong, Fox. I am so very proud of you." Sora, Kairi, and Fox made it out of Andross's palace just before it explodes, sending debris flying all around.
"Dad, where are you?" Fox asked.
"He's gone, Fox," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Angel said.
"And so is Andross," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Fox, Sora, Kairi!" Slippy called out. The other three Arwings flew up to them. "You're alive!"
"Yeah, we made it," Sora said.
"And what of Andross?" Peppy asked.
"Don't worry about him. Andross is dead," Fox said.
"Way to go, Fox! I knew you could do it!" Slippy said.
"That's our leader!" Falco said.
"Good. The Lylat System is now freed from his evil, at last," Peppy said.
With that said, the Arwings have boarded the Great Fox, knowing that their objective was met.
Over to Hollow Bastion, Ganondorf, Giovanni, Bowser, King K. Rool, and Dr. Eggman has witnessed Andross's destruction.
"It looks like Andross has bit the dust," Dr. Eggman said.
"Well, he did have quite a big head," Bowser said.
"Well, that's what we get for putting our trust in an ape," King K. Rool said.
"Andross's hatred for the dog general and desire for revenge was his own undoing. Even with Andross gone, the Lylat System will soon be under our rule very soon," Ganondorf said.
"What progress have we on the remaining princesses? We still have three out of seven," Giovanni said.
"They still have yet been identified, but it won't be long, I assure you. We will not give up," Ganondorf said.
Back on the Great Fox, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel stood in front of the Star Fox Team as they were about to board their Gummi Ship.
"You sure you guys have to go? I would've liked to get to know you better," Slippy said.
"We do, too, Slippy, but we still have some other worlds to visit and we have some Keyholes to find and seal just to keep the Heartless from doing something to the worlds," Sora said.
"Well, our mission might be over, but you still have yours to continue. From the moment we met, I knew we were going to defeat Andross and save the Lylat System," Fox said.
"But his army is still active, so what will you do about them?" Kairi asked.
"Don't worry about them. I don't think they'll be a problem for a while," Falco said.
"Falco's right. What they'll be doing for a while is licking their wounds while we get life in the Lylat System back on track," Peppy said.
"We're just glad to hear someone will be keeping up the peace," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"So, before you go, I would like to give the both of you these," Fox said, holding out a medal shaped like the Star Fox logo. He placed the medals around their necks. "Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel, too, as leader of the Star Fox Team, it is my honor and privilege to make you four honorary members of the Star Fox Team." Fox salutes the couples, and they salute back. Falco, Slippy, and Peppy salutes them as well.
"Thanks, Fox," Sora said.
"No, thank you," Fox said.
"Now you two get going and stop those yellow-eyed freaks, okay?" Falco asked.
"Sure thing, Falco," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel boarded the Gummi Ship and they departed from the Great Fox. Katt, Fay, and Miyu flew next to the Gummi Ship and waved to the couple. They waved back. The Gummi Ship now takes off and heads for their next destination.
