A/n I added characters from fire force.
The next morning,
Mako, Bolin, and Asami arrived on Air Temple Island. Pabu,Bunsen and Naga quickly get reacquainted, and the Fire Ferret rested a tiny paw against the Polar Bear-Dog's snout.
Jinora gave a small animal lesson, but Ikki just started chasing Pabu and Bunsen while Meelo hopped onto Naga and pulled at her ears, trying to make her fly.
"Thanks for sending the Air Acolytes to help us with the move," Mako greeted.
"Yes, they've been amazing," Asami added. "Such tireless workers."
Two Acolytes carried a large pile of luggage off the ship.
"Oh, I thought you were only bringing a few things," Korra stated, as the pile nearly tipped over.
"Trust me, it could've been worse," said Mako.
"Yeah, Korra, she could have brought her entire estate," gus quipped.
Everyone laughed at that.
Then a portal opened and moon girl and devil dinosaur come out.
Sorry I'm late I had was having fun with kid kree,Lunella said.
We'll come luz said.
The group walked up to the courtyard, while the animals scampered or ran off.
"And now for the grand tour!" Ikki stated, stopping everyone. She pointed out specific locations for the new arrivals.
"I have a couple questions," Bolin chimed in. "Is this an all-vegetarian island? Is that where you train Airbending? Do we have to wear Air Acolyte clothes? Do we each get our own Sky Bison? And final question: how many trees are on this island?"
Ikki looked deep in thought for a second, "Yes, yes, no, no, 10,552."
After taking in the fact that Ikki just answered those questions, Mako asked, "So, where are we gonna be staying?"
"You're a boy," said Meelo. "Boys have to stay on the boys' side."
"I'd be more than happy to show you to the men's dormitory," said Jinora as she lead Mako and Bolin away.
"I'm a boy!" Bolin exclaimed as he followed them.
"Meelo, why don't you go with the boys?" Korra suggested.
Meelo looked at Asami, "We shall meet again soon, beautiful woman."
Then he ran off to catch up with the boys.
"Ikki and I will take you to your room, this way," said Korra as she and Ikki took Asami to her room.
As they walked down the hall, Ikki suddenly said, "Asami, did you know Korra likes Mako?"
Korra's eyes widened in horror. In her head, she was screaming with rage in a lightning storm, surrounded by explosions.
Outside, she now looked worried, not knowing what Asami's reaction would be.
"Oh...uh, no," Asami said in mild surprised. "I wasn't completely aware of that.
"I am, she just didn't know," Korra said through clenched teeth, then dragged Asami along.
She showed her to her new room, let her in, then closed the sliding doors on Ikki, after briefly glaring at her.
"So, here's your room," said Korra. "I know this is a little rustic compared to what you're used to."
"I think it's really charming," Asami said as she looked around. "And the best part about it is nothing in here reminds me of my father." She then looked to Korra and smiled. "Thank you for your hospitality."
"No problem," said Korra. "And...about what Ikki said..."
"Your welcome," Korra responded. Then There was a knock at the door, which annoyed Korra. "Ikki, I swear if you don't leave us alone-"
The door opened, revealing Tenzin. Korra looked like a deer-caught-in-headlights, "Oh, Tenzin, come on in."
"Hello ladies. Asami, welcome to the Island," Tenzin greeted.
"Thank you for having me," Asami said, bowing.
"Beifong's replacement, Saikhan, is going to be inducted as the new chief of police later," Tenzin said. "I think we should both be there."
After the raid on the Sato Mansion, Lin resigned as Chief. She wanted to pursue Amon outside the law.

As the ceremony got underway, all the members of the Fire Force Companies stood close together in the crowd.
"We can't work with this guy. He's under Tarrlok's thumb," Lilith stated.
"I agree," Hibana responded.
"If this shit-bird conducts any operation in my part of town, Tarrlok will have hell to pay," Benimaru stated.
Soon, Saikhan was standing at the podium, which caused the crowd to go silent.
"It was an honor serving under Chief Beifong for so many years," he said, "And I wish her a speedy recovery. It is with great humility that I take her place as the new Chief of Police. Republic City is facing a threat like none the world has ever seen, but there is one man who's been effective against Amon and hala's revolution, Councilman Tarrlok."
He glanced at Tarrlok, who nodded his head as reporters began to take photos.
"That is why for all matters involving the Equalists, I will report directly to him," Saikhan continued.
That statement made Korra and Tenzin look at him in surprise, while rj just narrowed her eyes in Tarrlok's direction.
"He's up to something," rj muttered. "I just know he is."
"The police department will lend any and all available resources to the Councilman, and his task force until we quell this insurgency," Saikhan finished his speech.
"What is that weasel-snake up to now?" Korra whispered to Tenzin.
"He's up to something, I just know that he is," said rj as she glared at him.
After the speech, every Fire Force captain told Tarrlok that they wouldn't be working with the police anymore.
"We'd sooner die than work with someone like that two-headed rat-viper!" Lilith said.
"Avatar Korra," Tarrlok approached her and Tenzin. "Now that your little pro-bending distractions are over, I trust you'll finally be joining my task force."
Korra scoffed, "I didn't before, why would I now? I'm never joining your vanity project."
"That is unfortunate to hear," Tarrlok said, snidely. "But I'm sure you'll come to your senses as you have in the past."
"Don't hold your breath, bub," Korra said. "You know, Tenzin was right about you. You played me, you played Beifong, and now you're playing the new Chief, too! Well, I got news for you. You need me, but I don't need you. I'm the Avatar."
Tarrlok only sneered at her, "You are NOT the Avatar. You are merely a half-baked Avatar in training...which reminds me: how is your Airbending doing? Made any significant progress with that?"
Korra's eyes went wide before she looked away, gritting her teeth in anger while Tarrlok grinned...but then, out of nowhere...
"Excuse me, Councilman Tarrlok?"
Tarrlok turned...only to get slugged across the face by eda, whose fist was ablaze!
Everyone had different reactions; rj looked horrified, Korra gasped, but also smiled. Rj,Lilith, Wonder Woman, and belos all burst out laughing.
Apollo and Maria both gave thumbs-up, earthbender counselor chuckled lightly, and professor x wore a small smile of satisfaction.
Camila was surprised, but carefully concealed a smile.
As for Tarrlok, he lied on the ground, motionless...but then he slowly stood up...revealing a hideous burn on the right side of his face!
"AAAAAAAAARRGH!" he screamed.
"Hey! You should thank me!" Eda shouted. "It's an improvement, if you ask me!"
Just as he was about to declare eda under arrest, Diana stopped him.
"Don't even think about it," she threatened. "Besides."
"If I were you," Tarrlok warned, "I'd keep your friends on a very short and tight leash, Councilwoman Diana...or else!"
"We're shaking," Diana hissed.
Everyone walked away from the pissed off Councilman.
"...Thank you, Taizun," Korra said.
"Hey, he had no right saying that about you," Taizun said.
Everyone headed back to Air Temple Island.
"But, what he said wasn't completely wrong," Korra said. "I don't know what's wrong with me. I've memorized nearly all of the practice forms, but I still can't produce a single measly puff of air!"
She then lied back on her bed.
"I'm a failure," said Korra.
"You are NOT a failure," said luz. "It's just like Tenzin said. Certain elements are harder to master than others."
"Aang had help from his past lives as well," rj said.
"Well, that doesn't help," Korra responded. "I'm not spiritual either."
"You just need to find a way to connect to your spiritual side," Emily said. "Have you seen any of your past lives? Like, say, in a dream?"
Korra's eyes went wide as she began to remember something. For the past few nights, she actually had been having dreams about Aang, and even Toph and Sokka...but...there was something off about them.
"I know that look," Emily stated. "Have you had visions or dreams?"
"It feels like it," Korra responded. "I saw Aang, even Toph and Sokka. But they were so jumbled, I can't make sense of them."
"How long has this been going on, Korra?" Chris asked.
"A little while, actually," said Korra. "I don't know what they could be, though."
"Hmm...well, you should try meditating," Emily suggested. "It might help you get a better idea."
"We've been thinking that we should draw Amon and hala out and end this. Their gonna come and try and take the City by force at some point. So why wait?" Sprig asked.
"Not saying I disagree but any attacks against them and their followers will just prove his point." Chris said.
"Who cares? He already hates us so what does it matter?" Darrel asked
"True. All right I guess we might as well go after them. But nevertheless we should be careful. With Hiroshi backing them and making new weapons for them the Equalists will be even more dangerous." Sean said.
"So how do we go after them? Just start knocking doors down?" Maria asked.
"I was joking. But seriously how are we supposed to find them?" Willow asked.
"I have a suggestion for that." Chris said.
Arriving at the garages he opened one up before he came out with bio ship.
As Asami drove her car she turned on a police radio.
"Why do you even have that?" Anne asked.
"My dad had police scanners installed in all his cars. I guess now I know why." Asami said before a report of Equalists breaking out captured Non-benders.
Thats when they saw them before they nearly hit some children had Korra not Earth bended them out of the way.
"Oh that just pissed me off." Sean said dropping down on them and broke the engine. "COME HERE!" Maria yelled pulling the driver out before his claws were in her face making her gasp in shock. "You almost killed those kids because of that stunt!" Maria yelled.
"It was an accident! I turned my head for one second!" One the Equalist yelled.
"No this is!" Maria yelled slamming her down hard making her grunt.
After tying them all up Tarrlok and his task force arrived.
"Avatar Korra, What do you think you're doing?" Tarrlok asked not amused.
"Oh, hey, Tarrlok. Nice of you to show up finally. Here, we captured the escaped convicts for you." Korra said.
"What you did was tear up the city and impede the real authorities in their pursuit of these criminals." Tarrlok said.
"What authorities? There was no one around for miles!" Lunella yelled.
"If it wasn't for realm defenders they would have escaped." Korra said.
"This is your last warning"Stay out of my way." Tarrlok said leaving.
"What a worthless stupid head." Sasha said.
"I think you really made him mad this time." Korra said.
LaterAs night fell, Team Avatar stood by their vehicle, waiting for the next event to take place. Soon, a call came in, warning of Equalists considered to be armed and dangerous.
"I call front!" Bolin shouted.
"Ladies first," mako offered.
"What a gentleman," Korra responded, smiling.
then Asami drove them to their destination. As they drove over a hill, they saw police blimps scanning the area with their searchlights.
"Why is the power out?" Korra asked, noticing that the entire part of town they were heading to had a complete blackout.
"It must be because of the new law that Tarrlok established," Marcy said. "That two-headed rat-viper..."
Asami parked the car behind a few police vehicles and Chris,Anne,Sasha,marcy,Darrel,luz,amity,willow,Gus,dani,hunter,Apollo and maria. A line had been formed with civilians standing on the other side.
"Wait a second, these people aren't armed or dangerous," Asami noticed
Chief Sekihan stood on top of one of the armored trucks, then spoke into a megaphone, "All non-benders and aliens, return to your homes immediately."
But the crowd demanded for their power to be turned back on.
"Disperse, or you will all be arrested," Saikhan continued.
A child noticed Korra and told her mother.
"Please, help us. You're our Avatar too," The mother pleaded.
"Everyone please stay calm," Korra told the people. "I'm gonna put a stop to this."
"If that fails, we'll step in," Captain Benimaru of Fire Force Company 7 appeared, along with Lieutenant Konro Sagamiya,a female sayian and fifty Fire soldiers.
Korra nodded, "Alright, but for now, let me do the talking."
Even though Benimaru still had his usual expression on his face; Maria could tell he was pissed. Which was understandable; this blackout was near his company's part of town, and he had warned Tarrlok about bringing his problems here.
That's when everyone noticed Tarrlok nearby, talking to a task force member.
"Tarrlok, you need to turn the power back on and leave these people alone," Korra urged.
"Avatar Korra, you and your playmates have no business here," Tarrlok said, stubbornly.
"We're not going anywhere," luz responded. "And you have no right to treat these innocent people like criminals!"
"This is an Equalist rally," Tarrlok countered as he pointed at the crowd. "There is nothing innocent about it."
"They're not Equalists, they're just normal people who want their rights back!" Maria argued as she got in his face.
"You're going too far, Tarrlok!" Apollo shouted. "Don't you get it?! This is what Amon and hala wants! They wants you to prove to everyone that benders and alien are monsters, just like you're doing, tonight!"
"They are the enemy!" Tarrlok retorted, but just before he gave the order to round up the civilians; luz hit him in the face with her staff...hard.
"This is your first and last warning," she stated, her red eyes glowing. Even though she still spoke calmly; sasha knew she was about to blow, "You and your piece of a lapdogs get out of my part of town, and give these citizens their power back. Or there'll be a knew vacant place on the council."
"How...how dare you obstruct justice like this?!" Tarrlok questioned.
"I hardly call this 'justice'!" Korra spat.
"This is prejudice and discrimination!" Asami added.
Tarrlok got up, only for luz to hit him again!
"Time's up," she stated, then she spun her staff stone pillar hit a line of policemen, all in a row! For extra damage, the impact of the staff exploded when it hit them!
Saikhan and the rest of the police got ready to fight Company 7, but then Amai showed up with Company 8.
"Captain Shinmon, stand down!" she ordered.
"Butt out, you hag," he replied.
She ignored the insult since she was used to it, "I know you warned Tarrlok before, but this won't help prove Amon and hala wrong."
"Then what are we supposed to do?!" asked Benimaru.
"You have no business here, Amai!" Tarrlok exclaimed. "This is an Equalist protest!"
"Really? Cause I don't see any Equalist flags or banners anywhere," she retorted. "You are treating non-bending citizens like criminals! Your law about a curfew may have passed, but I WILL NOT stand for this! You deliberately cut the power to these people's homes so they would come out!"
"She's right, this is a complete and total abuse of authority!" Shinra added.
"You may think that you're being a hero," luz said, "But you're far from it, Tarrlok!"
"I won't stand for this!" Tarrlok yelled...before he looked at Asami,dani and that's when a wicked grin appeared on his face before he used a water whip to subdue them!
"AH! Hey!" Asami cried.
"Asami!" Mako shouted.
"Dani"Hunter shouted.
"What are you doing?!" Dani questioned.
"It's a known fact this girl's father was an Equalist supporter and their both non-benders," Tarrlok said.
Arrest him and his brother and the Martian,his siblings and the homunculus too Tarrlok ordered !
The metalbending officers coil their cables around Apollo,Chris,maria,mako,bolin,hunter and pull them in.
"Tarrlok"Korra Shouts angrily.as She earthbends two massive rocks on either side of her and luz,gus,willow and amity held out ice blades.as Sasha,Anne,marcy and Darrel took out their amphibia weapons.
"Unless you all want to join your friends in prison, I suggest you all put those down and go back to the Air Temple.
guys, listen to him. It's not worth it mako said
Korra reluctantly drops the rocks back down.
We'll be all right Hunter said. As they all walk into the police truck.
Don't worry, I'll call Tenzin. He can get you out korra said.
Mako walks into the police truck, and looks up at Korra before the doors close on him. Korra looks on in dismay.
Tarrlok So sad to see your little realm defenders broken up. You had a good run.
This isn't over, Tarrlok.korra shouted.
Oh, I believe it is. Take them away Tarrlok said To the drivers.
Korra,luz,willow,Gus,amity,Anne,Sasha,marcy and Darrel looks at the trucks before looking down in regret.
Later the Police Headquarters.
Tenzin walking up to the front doors. He walks up toward Korra, who attempts to talk to the person behind the counter without success.
I came as fast as I could. Are your friends all right? Tenzin said.
I don't know! These knuckleheads won't tell me anything korra said frustrated.
I'll take care of this tenzin said as he spots Saikhan walking. Saikhan notices Tenzin, and says Saikhan, a word please.
Councilman Tenzin, I'm pretty swamped at the moment. Can this wait? Saikhan said.
No, it cannot. Three of Avatar Korra's friends were wrongly arrested tonight. I'd like you to release them immediately tenzin said.
They're not going anywhere. They were interfering with police business saikhan said.
Your so called police business was rounding up innocent people and aliens also claiming they were Equalists. They should be released, too.luz said.
All Equalists suspects are being detained indefinitely. They'll be freed if and when the task force deems they are no longer a threat. Saikhan said.
Those people are entitled to due process under the law.tenzin said.
You'll have to take that up with Councilman Tarrlok.Saikhan said.
Oh, I plan to. At the council meeting, first thing in the morning tenzin said pointing at saikhan.
Saikhan narrows his eyes.
Sasha points at the former.] You're officially the worst Chief of Police ever! She Places her hand to grip his chin, moving his head up and down.
Calm down "sasha"Darrel said.
Cut to a side view of all three. Darrel,korra,Sasha,Anne,luz,amity,marcy and Tenzin turn and start to walk away before Tenzin stops, turns and says But you really are the worst! Ever! As he points at saikhan.
Air Temple Island where it is snowing.
Korra lies on her bed, angry at herself and opens the window to look at Republic City. She turns to Naga.
Wake up, Naga lets korra said shaking her polar bear dog.
Wait I'm coming Sasha said from across the hail.
Okay fine let's go korra said as she and Sasha got on naga.
City hall
Snow came down as Korra and Sasha on Naga stopped outside the hall before walking inside then to Tarrlok's office where he was signing papers at a large desk with a waterfall behind him. "You and I need to talk."
"Are any of the other Council members here?" Tarrlok asked his assistant who stood beside the desk.
"I believe everyone has gone home for the night."
"Then you should do the same."
"Are you sure, sir?" The man asked as Tarrlok stared at Korra and Sasha.
"Leave us." The man left as Tarrlok stood and turned to face the waterfall.
"Don't you see? You're doing exactly what Amon and hala says is wrong with benders. You're using your power to oppress and intimidate people! Sasha said.
And korra don't? Tarrlok asked.
Of-Of course not!korra said.
Isn't that what you came here to do? Intimidate me into releasing your friends.tarrlok said.
Korra and Sasha glare at him. See, that's what I admire about you, Korra. Your willingness to go to extremes in order to get what you want. It is a quality we both share.
You and I are nothing alike! Korra yelled.
TarrlokLook, I'll make you a deal. You fall in line and do what I say and I'll release your friends.
That's why you arrested them? To get to me? Korra asked.
I need your answer tarrlok said.
No. You might be able to manipulate Chief Saikhan into following you, but it won't work on me.korra said.
You'll regret your decision tarrlok said. Stands up and turns his back; angrily.
You need to be stopped!You're just as bad as Amon and hala! Korra said.
She's right Sasha said.
I've tried to work with you, Korra, but you've made it impossible tarrlok said. As he then swiftly turns around and throws a blade of water at Korra and Sasha cutting his desk in half. They dodges the attack.
It cuts off some strands of korra's hair and Sasha cheek and they smashes into the bookshelf behind them as they rolls out of the way. Korra earth bends the floor at Tarrlok, knocking him back into the waterfall. She then lunges and shoots two streams of fire from her fists at Tarrlok.
Tarrlok water bends a bubble around himself to block the attack. After the attack stops, Tarrlok begins throwing little shards of ice at them in rapid succession. They backflips to dodge, and is pushed back against the wall. They grunts and dodges and deflects the shards with korra using fists and Sasha using her swords before one shard grazes Sasha's side and she grunts in pain.
That all you've got Tarrlok as he continues the hail of ice, then he groaning as Metal wrapped around him by korra. "You...Can Metal bend?" Tarrlok asked shocked.
"You don't know even a fraction of what she can do!" Sasha yelled before flames came from her and blasted him outside making him yell in shock before korra turned the floor to Lava.
"What? How is this possible? No Avatar can be this powerful! Not Even Kyoshi!" Tarrlok yelled.
"Unlike the White Lotus of today... Professor x actually knows how to teach people."Korra said as she made water from thin air before blasting him back making him yell as he crashed into a wall. They in front of Tarrlok and stands up. "What are you gonna do now? You're all out of water, pal!" They begins to approach Tarrlok as he crawls backward. They raised her palms and created flames in each hand. "RAH!" Korra lets out a battle cry as she and Sasha lunges at Tarrlok.
Tarrlok stands and holds his hands out, making them stop in their tracks and causing the flames to fly to either side of Tarrlok. They grunts in pain for a moment, then Tarrlok moves his hands, causing Korra and Sasha's arms to twist back. They groans in pain as Tarrlok holds his stance, and his hand movements force her to her knees. "You're in my way, Avatar… You and the realm defenders, and you all need to be removed." He said as them looked up at him.
"You're a… You're a Bloodbender?" Korra asked
"Very observant."tarrlok said
"It's not a full moon. How… How are you doing this?" Korra asked as he smiled.
"There are a lot of things you don't know about me." He said as he twisted Korra and Sasha around before throwing them against a pillar.
They falls to the floor and looks over at Tarrlok, stunned. Korra's vision blurs and she sees another set of eyes, then a man from the water tribe in pain, A policewoman throwing a metal cable out. She is then blood bent and the cable falls. She then saw another man looking back and chuckling as Aang reached out towards him.
She and Sasha then wakes up in the back of a truck, groaning as Tarrlok is about to close the door. She tried to move only to feel she and Sasha was tied up. "Where are you taking us?"
"Somewhere no one will find either you. Say goodbye to Republic City, Avatar Korra and Sasha waveright. Both you will never see it again.your teammates will be with you soon enough."
"RAH!" Korra sits up and roars at Tarrlok, breathing fire at him. Tarrlok closes the doors and avoids the fire just in time. Tarrlok slams his fist against the door and walks around to the front.
"You can't do this! Let us out!" Sasha yells as the engine starts and the truck drives off. "You can't do this! Let us out! No!"
