After the fight against the Dark Queen's forces, the villains were watching closely and the Dark Queen growled in frustration and annoyance.
"Big Blag, that incompetent rodent! He blew it again!" The Dark Queen growled in anger.
"Guess he got too big for his britches!" Psy-Crow said, laughing.
"Like you'd do better, Psy-Crow," the Dark Queen scoffed.
I know I can do better. This is why I usually work alone," Psy-Crow said, laughing.
"We'll have to try harder," Shadow Boss said.
"Yeah, ten times harder," Booger Meister said, laughing.
Back in Traverse Town, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel are joined by the Battletoads, ToeJam and Earl.
"Okay, why are you coming with us?" Sora asked.
"Cuz, you got some killer moves, Strike Master S! We're with you like wax on a surfboard, yo!" ToeJam said.
"Especially after you whooped those suckas," Earl said.
"Sounds like you got yourself a couple of fans, Sora, Kairi said.
"And I haven't even started to compete in the Indigo Plateau yet," Sora said under his breath.
"Chu," Pikachu said.
They entered a tall building, unaware of several gangbangers watching them.
"Those are those little key-holders? Just a couple of kids?" One of the gangbangers scoffed.
Just then, a tall, muscular man stepped in. He's twice the size of the other men. He is shirtless and wore a pair of jeans, chains around both wrists, a brown belt with a skull insignia, and black boots with spikes at the top. He has a bald head and a horseshoe mustache.
"Well, Shadow Boss said we gotta deal with them and keep them from finding the Keyhole. He's going to crack our skulls if we mess this up, and I'm going to crack yours if you don't shut up and do what I tell you!" The tall, muscular man roared.
"Right, Abobo," one of the gangbangers said.
"You're damn right! Those keyslingers will be no match for the Black Warriors," Abobo said, grinning evilly.
Back with Sora, Kairi, the Battletoads, ToeJam, Earl, Pikachu, and Angel, they came to a mansion on the corner of the second district and they saw how massive it was on the inside.
"Wow, it looked smaller outside," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Maybe the Keyhole is somewhere in this house," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"We could cover more ground when we split up," Rash said.
"That's actually not a bad idea, Rash. The aliens will have to check that room right there while we search for it in that other room. Sora and Kairi could have a look around here," Zitz said.
With that said, the group begins to split up and search around for the Keyhole. They didn't have any luck searching for it.
"Find anything, Kairi?" Sora asked.
"No. It's like looking for a needle in a very big haystack," Kairi said.
"Man, I knew it was gonna he hard, but I didn't think it was gonna be this hard. Maybe those rapping aliens and the toads are having much better luck than we are," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"I hope you're right. The sooner we find it, the better, because I don't want to think about how bad it'll be when Heartless take over," Kairi said.
"I don't wanna think about it, either. Maybe it's in one of these rooms. And we can walk in even when they're locked," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
They started to search their way through the mansion, searching for the Keyhole when they have green projectiles flicked them. Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades.
"Hey!" Sora exclaimed.
They see a slightly chubby man wearing tattered green clothing, a red cape, a mask over his eyes, and tatered shoes with the big toes sticking out.
"Ha-ha! I got you where I want you, villains!" The man said, looking at the couple. "Huh? You're just two kids, not the Booger Meister's minions?"
"Booger Meister?" Kairi asked.
"Who are you?" Sora asked.
"I will answer your question! I'm a superhero! I am Boogerman!" Boogerman said.
"Got the booger part," Sora said under his breath.
"If you're a superhero, then what's your superpower?" Kairi asked.
"I flick my boogers, and unleash powerful burps and farts!" Boogerman proudly said. Kairi was a bit grossed out.
"I'm sorry I asked," Kairi said.
"What are you even doing here?" Sora asked.
"Searching for the Keyhole to Traverse Town and allow the key-bearers to seal it," Boogerman said. Sora cleared his throat, holding his Keyblade.
"Something like these, right?" Sora asked.
"You mean you're the ones?" Boogerman asked.
"Yeah. I'm Sora and she's Kairi. This is Pikachu and Angel. The bad guys are looking for it, too, so we gotta find it first," Sora said.
"You do that. I'll keep looking for it," Boogerman said, taking off. He walked into a room. They hear a flushing sound.
"Did he just go to the bathroom?" Sora asked.
"And shouldn't he have come out by now?" Kairi asked.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Vee," Angel said.
Down below, Boogerman continued his search for the Keyhole when several Shadows came and attacked him.
"You won't stop me, villains!" Boogerman said as he took a stance and bent over. He then unleashed a stink, destroying the Shadows. And it drives away all the rats and alligators living in the sewer. "Booger!"
Back in the mansion, the Black Warriors get through the windows of the mansion with the intention of ambushing Sora and Kairi. They were unaware of two mysterious figures following them.
"You called it, Billy. The Black Warriors are here," one of the figures said.
"The Shadow Boss and his guys have been causing some trouble here in town, and they didn't even need the Heartless to do that. We just gotta beat them to the Keyhole before them, Jimmy," the figure called Billy said.
Over to Sora and Kairi, they continue to look for the Keyhole when a bunch of Black Warrior thugs quickly surrounded them.
"Hey, who are you?" Sora asked.
Abobo stepped in with thunderous footsteps. He glared at the couple.
"We're the Black Warriors. We're here to keep you from finding the Keyhole. The same thing for those freaks that you were just hanging with," Abobo said.
"You're gonna have to fight us if you wanna stop us!" Sora said, summoning his Keyblade. Kairi summoned hers, too.
"Oh, we plan to," Abobo said, grinning. "Get them!" The Black Warriors took out some knives, pipes and crowbars. Some of them attempt to hit Sora with their blunt objects when Sora smacked them off with his Keyblade. Kairi casts a stop spell, freezing them in time as Angel fired Swift at them. When the spell wore off, the Black Warriors yelled in pain from being struck by stars. Pikachu jumped up gave the Black Warriors a taste of his Thunderbolt. One of the Black Warriors attempts to stab Kairi, but Sora casts a water spell, pushing him back. The Black Warriors kept on coming and coming when a yell is heard. "What the fu-" He was cut off when a Black Warrior thug is thrown at him.
The ones responsible was a pair of young, tall, muscular Asian-American men. One of them has brown hair and the other has blonde hair. They wore white shirts, black fingerless gloves, and brown boots. One of them wore a blue and pants overcoat while the other one wore a similar overcoat, but it was red with the sleeves ripped off. Both had brown eyes.
"So this is how low the Black Warriors are willing to sink?" The young man in red asked.
"You're picking a fight with a couple of kids?" The young man in blue asked.
"The Double Dragons!" Abobo exclaimed in rage. "Kill them! Kill them all!"
The Black Warriors went after them, but the Double Dragons managed to overwhelm them. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel joined in with the young fighters. Abobo came at the young men, but the blue clad young man uppercuts him and Sora casts a blizzard spell, hitting him. Kairi casts a thunder spell as Pikachu and Angel gave him a hit with Iron Tail. Sora and Kairi came at him with their Keyblades as the two young men gave him a jump kick, sending him back to the wall.
"Take this!" Sora said, smacking him with his Keyblade, striking him.
"This is messed up!" Abobo exclaimed. The Black Warriors then began to retreat, running from their opponents. Abobo took one last look at them. "We'll remember this!" Abobo joined in, running off. Sora and Kairi dismissed their Keyblades.
"Thanks for the save, guys," Sora said.
"We couldn't let those Black Warriors get away with it. My name's Billy Lee, and this is my twin brother Jimmy Lee," the blue-clad young man introduced.
"I'm Sora, and this is Pikachu," Sora introduced.
"Chu," Pikachu said.
"I'm Kairi, and this is Angel," Kairi introduced.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Sora and Kairi? Wait, you mean the kids who are looking for Traverse Town's Keyhole?" Jimmy asked.
"Yeah. I take it that you know Setro and the others, right?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, Setro filled us in," Billy said.
"That big guy Abobo told us they were looking for the Keyhole, too, right?" Sora asked.
"He did," Kairi said.
"The Black Warriors joined up with some guy calling himself Ganondorf," Billy said.
"Just like the Dark Queen's guys, right?" Sora asked.
"You know about them?" Jimmy asked.
"We don't just know about them, we fought them. With the help from the Battletoads," Kairi said.
"You know them?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, we know them. There are other guys here, so we had to leave our worlds to come to Traverse Town and lend a hand in helping," Billy said.
"We appreciate the help," Sora said.
"So, where are the toads?" Jimmy asked.
"They're looking all over this mansion, trying to find it," Sora said.
"And we were doing the same when those Black Warrior guys attacked us," Kairi said.
"Billy, I think we should do our part by looking for it in this house, too," Jimmy said.
"You're right, Jimmy," Billy agreed. "The Shadow Boss won't stop there."
"Shadow Boss?" Sora asked.
"Abobo is a little fish. The Shadow Boss is a bigger fish. We'll meet up at the main hall," Billy said.
"Okay," Kairi said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel left the twin fighters to continue the search. As they searched, they couldn't find a single clue that led to the Keyhole's location.
Everyone met in the main hall.
"Find anything?" Sora asked.
"Not a thing," Pimple said.
"This is whack, yo! Where that Keyhole at?" ToeJam asked.
"So much for being in the mansion," Earl said.
"Maybe we could have a look everywhere else in town," Rash said.
"Yeah, and we'll have to look out for any bad guys while we're at it," Zitz said.
"We'll do that," Sora said.
"If there are any around, my man, Strike Master S will deal with them," ToeJam said.
"Strike Master S?" Billy asked. Sora groaned.
"Don't ask," Sora said.
"But that doesn't matter, because we got a Keyhole to find," Kairi said.
"She's right, let's get going," Sora said.
"Okay. When we find, you two will be the first ones to know," Zitz said.
With that said, the couple leaves the otherworldly heroes to continue to search for the Keyhole.
They returned to the first district to see if they could find some clues from there. Just then, a cream-colored dog approached them and barked repeatedly. It has a brown patch over its right eye and is wearing a blue bandana around its neck. The dog then started to lick his face, making him laugh.
"Hey, where did you come from?" Sora asked, laughing.
"Duke! Where are you, Duke? Oh, there you are," a voice spoke up. Sora and Kairi turned around.
They're approached by a teenage boy with light skin, brown hair, and blue eyes. He wore a yellow shirt under a jacket with white arms and red body part, blue jeans, and blue and white sneakers. He has a red and light gray blaster in a holster on his right side.
With him is a girl who has long brown hair and innocent blue eyes. Her colorful two-piece short dress that shows off her midriff. Has jewels, gauntlets and boots. She also has a gold tiara.
With them is a 2D generic stick figure-styled silhouette male character whose entirely monochrome-schemed, having a fully black body and a gray outline from his body. His body is most likely shaped as a teardrop, and he has a large straight nose, a circle-shaped head, and his mouth is sometimes typically seen open, and he has outstretched and puffy stubs for his legs, circular stubs for his hands, but is occasionally seen with realistic hands, but without fingers and only a thumb. He has thin limbs, mainly his arms and legs.
There is also a gray robot with a rectangle-shaped head, dark gray hands, a black cord on the back of the head and bottom platform with three wheels at the bottom.
There are small wingless dragons. One is a green bubble dragon with yellow spines. He has reddish-pink arms and feet, as well as a white stomach area. He has a single visible tooth in the upper middle part of his mouth.
The other is a small blue Bubble Dragon with yellow spines. He has reddish-pink arms and feet, as well as a white stomach area. Like most Bubble Dragons, Bob has a single visible tooth centered on the upper part of his mouth.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Sorry about my dog. I told him not to wonder off. Hope he didn't cause you any trouble," the boy said.
"It's not a problem," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Anyway, my name's Kevin Keene, but everyone calls me Captain N," Kevin introduced himself.
"I'm Lana. The robot here is R.O.B. and this is Mr. Game and Watch," Lana introduced. R.O.B. waved as Mr. Game Watch just beeped, sounding like a greeting.
"My name's Bub, and this is my twin brother, Bob," Bub introduced.
"Hello," Bob shyly greeted.
"Nice to meet you. My name's Sora, and this is Pikachu," Sora introduced.
"I'm Kairi, and this is Angel," Kairi introduced.
"Angel? That's an adorable name," Lana cooed.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"What are you two doing out and about, anyway?" Kevin asked.
"We're actually looking for something," Sora said.
"Well, just be careful, because there are monsters out on the loose," Lana said.
"Well, that explains why you went after Duke," Sora said.
"Yeah, and I think Duke likes you, Sora," Kevin said. Duke barked again.
"Hey, I like you, too, fella," Sora said with Duke licking his face again.
"Well, if you find yourselves in trouble, just come my booth over there," Kevin said, pointing to what looks like an arcade.
"We'll keep that in mind when we have time," Kairi said.
"Cool! Drop in anytime," Kevin said.
"We hope we get to see you there soon," Lana said.
They all head back to the arcade as Mr. Game Watch rings his bell, making Sora laugh.
"That Mr. Game and Watch is such a character, huh?" Sora asked.
"Sure is," Kairi giggled. "But we shouldn't get distracted."
"You're right. We gotta keep looking for that Keyhole," Sora said.
They looked around for the Keyhole. They entered a restaurant called "Burgertime" and they asked a chef who is named Peter Pepper. He is a short man wearing a red and white stripped shirt with orange buttons, red pants, white shoes, and a white chef's hat with the letter P engraved. They asked the chef if they've seen anything unusual, but Peter responded by saying that he hasn't and wished them luck.
They kept on looking around for it, but then, they heard a bell ringing.
"You hear that?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah, but where did it come from?" Sora asked.
"That can't be good," Jade said, approaching them. They turned to see her.
"Jade? What are you doing here?" Sora asked.
"Setro sent me. He said there's something he thinks you should know," Jade said.
"Could it have anything to do with that bell?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, but Setro sent me before it started ringing. He says it's important," Jade said.
"Lead the way," Sora said.
With that said, Jade leads Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel back to the second district and right into the third district. Jade leads them to a house at the entrance and she knocked three times.
"It's me. Let me in," Jade said. The door opened and it's revealed to be an earthworm in what looks like a white spacesuit with blue gloves with gold rings and blue straps. He has a red laser gun holstered. He has bulgy eyes with the pupil in his right eye smaller than the one in his left eye.
"You must be the Keybladers I was told about. Earthworm Jim. At your service," Earthworm Jim introduced.
"Sora," Sora said.
"Kairi," Kairi said.
"Jim, we don't have time. We gotta get inside," Jade said.
"Right. Come on in," Jim said.
Sora, Kairi, Jade, Pikachu, and Angel stepped inside and they saw Setro, Ariel, and Brian inside. With them are Professor Layton, Luke, the Battletoads, The Double Dragons, ToeJam and Earl, and Boogerman.
"Good of you to come," Setro said.
"We got here as soon as Jade fetched us," Sora said.
"Is there something wrong? Did the bad guys find the Keyblade already?" Kairi asked.
"Hopefully, I don't think so, but Brian made a big discovery, and we thought you should know about it," Setro said.
"Know about what?" Sora asked.
"Well, I don't exactly have all my ducks in a row here, but I think the Keyhole is located at the fountain in the second district," Brian said.
"Well, that's good to know," Sora said.
Indeed, but I'm afraid that's only the good news. And I am sad to say, there are bad news following," Professor Layton said.
"What?" Kairi asked.
"We think the bad guys figured it out," Ariel said.
"No," Kairi gasped.
"But more good news is that they don't know how to get to it," Brian said.
"Well, that takes a big load off of our minds," Sora said.
"How do we have the Keyblade reveal itself?" Kairi asked.
"I was just getting to that, kid. The key to that is to head for the Gizmo Shop in the second district. Just walk down the path of the hotel and you'll see a door, so go inside it. There are loads of gizmos inside it. You should go through the back door and there is a ladder on the outside you can use to climb up. And there's a wooden fence that you can break down. There's a rope you can pull on it to ring the bell. It's the same bell that rang a little while ago. Pull it thrice and the Keyhole will show itself," Brian instructed.
"Got it," Kairi said.
"One more thing. There some Heartless sightings, so keep your eyes peeled for them, and take out any Heartless that gets in your way," Brian said.
"No problem. You can leave the Heartless to us," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed.
"We know we can count on you, Sora, Kairi," Ariel said.
"We're counting on you," Luke said.
"Okay," Sora said.
"Our allies here have volunteered to serve as your backup, so it's wise to bring them along with you," Professor Layton said.
"We think the Dark Queen, the Black Warriors, and others would show up and cause some trouble for you," Zitz said.
"We appreciate it," Sora said.
"Then, let's go," Billy said.
"Give them hell, Strike Master S!" ToeJam said.
"Kick some Heartless booties!" Earl said.
"We will," Sora said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Earthworm Jim, Boogerman, the Battletoads, the Double Dragons, Pikachu, and Angel stepped out to head for the Gizmo Shop. As they head for the second district, they're suddenly attacked by the Heartless which consisted of Shadows, Soldiers, Large Bodies, Red Nocturnes, Blue Rhapsodies, Green Requiems, Yellow Operas, Air Soldiers, and Boxerwilds.
"Eat dirt, heart-stealing monsters!" Earthworm shouted, firing at tthe Heartless and laughing maniacally. Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades and engaged the Heartless.
Boogerman flicks his boogers at the Soldiers as Billy and Jimmy overcome them with their martial arts. Zitz has one of his feet turn into a boot and he uses it to kick a Large Body as Rash's fist turns into a boxing glove and punches the Yellow Operas and Green Requiems. Pimple has ram horns growing from his head and he plowed through the Shadows and Soldiers. Sora and Kairi struck down the Air Soldiers as Earthworm Jim shoots down the Air Soldiers. Pikachu and Angel use their combined Quick Attack on the Red Nocturnes and Blue Rhapsodies. As they continued to fight their way through, they bump into several more of the Dark Queen's army and the Black Warriors. Earthworm Jim uses his worm body/head to whip the Black Warriors as Boogerman launches himself with his farts. They fought them off right until an anthropomorphic bull with a purple mohawk showed up. He wore a spiky armor.
"And that is?" Sora asked.
"General Slaughter. He's one of the Dark Queen's goons," Zitz said.
"I'm going to grind your bones into dust!" General Slaughter said as he snorted. He charges right at the group.
"Eat dirt, you steroid-crazed cow!" Earthworm Jim shouted, firing at the bovine general.
"He's actually a bull," Zitz corrected the earthworm.
Billy and Jimmy gave him a punch as General Slaughter plowed through them. Boogerman unleashed a powerful burp, sending him back, but he gave Boogerman a punch as he grabbed Zitz and Pimple.
"Hold on, guys!" Rash said, turning his hands into a giant hammer and bashed him. Sora casts a fire spell on him, hitting him. Kairi then smacked him before casting a balloon spell, hitting him. Boogerman gave a farting explosion as Pikachu fires Thunderbolt, shocking him. Angel fired Swift at General Slaughter as Billy and Jimmy gave him a jumping kick. Sora struck him hard as General Slaughter roared.
"Now, I'm angry! Time to finish this!" General Slaughter shouted, running and striking the Battletoads, the Double Dragons, and Earthworm Jim. He charges again, striking Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Boogerman. Sora and Kairi came at General Slaughter and they struck him right at the same time, sending General Slaughter flying. "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He comes back down, crashing on the pavement.
"Pimple, you wanna do the honors this time?" Rash offered.
"It'll be my pleasure," Pimple said, turning his foot into a football cleat and kicking him. General Slaughter is flying through the sky and a star twinkled in the distance.
"Nice kick!" Sora said with awe.
"That's gotta be worth six points," Zitz said.
"More like four, because it was kinda shaky when he went flying," Pimple said.
After dealing with General Slaughter, more Heartless appeared and they fought them off. More and more began to show up.
"There's too many!" Kairi said.
"We gotta get to the Gizmo Shop!" Jimmy said.
"He's right. Let's go!" Sora said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Earthworm Jim, Boogerman, the Battletoads, the Double Dragons, Pikachu, and Angel ran off towards the Gizmo Shop.
Meanwhile, Conker is exploring the Gizmo Shop's roof.
"Huh, I wonder what made that bell ring. Well, there are no monsters here, so everything's good, I guess. I'd rather not have monsters to deal with," Conker said.
Back with the group, they followed Brian's instructions to the letter and found the Gizmo Shop.
"Could this be it?" Earthworm Jim asked.
"Brian did say that the bell's on the top of the roof, so we gotta go up and ring it," Billy said.
"Yeah, and one of you can lock it, can't you?" Boogerman asked.
"Yeah, we managed to lock up some Keyholes already," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
Just then, Shadows, Soldiers, Air Soldiers, Large Bodies, Red Nocturnes, Blue Rhapsodies, Green Requiems, Yellow Operas, and Search Ghosts appeared all around.
"Heartless!" Sora and Kairi exclaimed.
"Taste this!" Boogerman said, launching himself with his fart.
"PU! That stinks!" Kairi exclaimed.
"I don't even have a nose, but I do agree with you, it does!" Earthworm Jim said.
"But Boogerman is right! We gotta fight our way through," Pimple said.
"You read my mind, Pimple," Rash said.
With that said, the group began to fight their way through the Heartless. Pikachu's Thunderbolt hits the Heartless, but some of it is being absorbed by the Yellow Operas and Green Requiems. Angel fired Swift at the Red Nocturnes and Yellow Operas, destroying them as Earthworm Jim zaps the Blue Rhapsodies and Green Requiems.
"Groovy!" Earthworm Jim exclaimed
"Let's keep going!" Jimmy said.
"Don't stop!" Zitz said.
They managed to plow through the Heartless and reach the back door. Once they got out, they climbed up the ladder and saw the red squirrel.
"Huh? Who are you?" Conker asked.
"We could ask you that," Sora said.
"Right. The name's Conker the Squirrel," Conker introduced himself. He looked at the group. "Hey, you're the Double Dragons, the Battletoads, Boogerman, and Earthworm Jim, Sora, and Kairi, aren't you?"
"Wow, word sure gets around fast," Earthworm Jim said.
"What gave you that idea?" Rash sarcastically asked.
"What are you doing up here?" Sora asked.
"Oh, I was just up here for some peace and quiet. And I had to get away from those pesky monsters. They're worse than cockroaches," Conker said.
"So we heard," Sora said. He turned to the wooden fence. "That's gotta be the fence we gotta bring down."
"Let me," Zitz said, turning his hands into axes and chopped on the fence until it was completely destroyed.
"Go ahead, Sora. Ring the bell three times," Boogerman said. Sora walked over to the bell and pulled the rope to ring the bell. The mural at the fountain turns to the left.
"Okay, two more times," Billy said. Sora pulls the rope again. As soon as it rings, the mural turned again.
"One more time," Kairi said. Sora pulls it once more and the mural reveals the Keyhole.
"The Keyhole!" Sora and Kairi exclaimed.
"Now you gotta go seal it!" Jimmy said.
With that done, the group jumped off the roof of the Gizmo Shop and rushed over to the Keyhole. Before Sora or Kairi could lock it up, Psy-Crow, Booger Meister, the Shadow Boss, and the Dark Queen appeared.
"The Dark Queen!" The Battletoads exclaimed.
"Psy-Crow! Earthworm Jim exclaimed.
"Shadow Boss," the Double Dragons said.
"And Booger Meister!" Boogerman said.
"Thank you very much for leading us to our prize," Booger Meister said, laughing.
"Traverse Town is good as ours," Shadow Boss said.
"The same thing can be said for the other worlds!" Psy-Crow laughed.
"I don't think so," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"You think you're going to stop us? Well, aren't you just adorable?" the Dark Queen asked in an almost flirting tone. Kairi's cheeks puffed up.
"We are going to stop you, you evil space bimbo! And your little friends, too!" Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel hissed.
"Oh, you're going try and end up crying, little girl," the Dark Queen said.
"You can try to stop us, but that Keyhole is getting locked up," Billy said.
"Sound likes we got a fight on our hands," the Shadow Boss said.
With that said, Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades and held them. The Dark Queen took out her staff and fired an energy attack at them as the Shadow Boss charges right at the group as Conker took out a frying pan and smacked him as Psy-Crow flew around on his jetpack and fired a hook. Booger Meister unleashed a powerful burp and hopped on over to them. The Dark Queen unleashed a stream of fire. Billy and Jimmy gave the Shadow Boss a blast of dragonish energy. Sora and Kairi came at the villains, swinging their Keyblades. Earthworm Jim starts zapping the bad guys.
"EAT DIRT, FOUL VILLAINS!" Earthworm Jim shouted, laughing maniacally. Psy-Crow gave a bird-like scream.
Booger Meister snorted some booger monsters and hoped over to them. Kairi casts a blizzard spell, hitting the Booger Meister as Boogerman gave him a punch. Booger Meister hopped over to them as Jimmy gave him a kick. Pikachu gave an Iron Tail to the Shadow Boss as Angel rushed at Psy-Crow with a Quick Attack in the gut. Earthworm Jim uses his whip attack on hit.
"YEOW!" Psy-Crow yelled.
The Shadow Boss turned into a spike ball and plowed right through them. Conker swings his frying pan again as Angel fired Swift at the villains as Pikachu fired a Thunderbolt, shocking the Booger Meister as Boogerman gave a fart bomb.
"That's snot the best way to settle things!" The Booger Meister taunted.
"Take this!" The Dark Queen shouted, unleashing fire at them. Kairi casts a reflect spell to make it bounce off. The Battletoads came at her with their hands turning into hammers and smacked her. Sora gave the Shadow Boss a smack with his Keyblade as the Double Dragons gave him an uppercut on the Shadow Boss, making him explode.
"This can't be happening!" The Shadow Boss yelled as he exploded. All that remained of him is his armor. Psy-Crow kept firing his hooks all around, so Sora casts a thunder spell, zapping him. Earthworm Jim shoots him down.
"This ain't right!" Psy-Crow yelled as he went flying. The Booger Meister unleashed a large fart their way, sending a dark green cloud their way. Kairi casts an aero spell, blowing the stink cloud away and blowing the Booger Meister with it. Boogerman gave the Booger Meister one last punch, knocking him down.
"You win the gross out fight, but they'll be others," Boogerman said.
The Dark Queen unleashed a blast of energy as Sora and Kairi deflected them with their Keyblades. Pikachu and Angel fired Electro Ball and Swift, hitting her. The Battletoads worked together and their heads shifted into football helmets and finished her.
"No! I refuse to accept this defeat!" The Dark Queen yelled. Sora approached the Keyhole and he aims his Keyblade and seals it. A locking sound is heard.
"There. Another world safe," Sora said.
"Well, this went down south," Psy-Crow said, taking off, running.
"You won this fight, heroes, but the next one will be mine," the Dark Queen said, vanishing with the remaining villains.
With the Keyhole sealed, the group returned to the house in the third district.
"Good. Traverse Town is good as safe," Setro said.
"Knew you'd do it," Brian said.
"Now there are other worlds to visit and keyholes to seal," Professor Layton said.
"I think we should stick around and get some supplies before we go," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel agreed.
"Glad you think so, because you gotta catch the fight before you go," Brian said.
Later, Sora and Kairi got a bite to eat at Burgertime and tried out Peter Pepper's hamburgers.
They checked out the arcade and played the games that they had. They even picked up some supplies for their journey.
The fight now begins as Little Mac is up against a large, morbidly obese man wearing a rather large silver crown with silver jewels. He wore orange shorts with white streaks, brown and orange shoes, purple boxing gloves and a couple of bandaids across his bellybutton. He has hippo-like eyes and hippo-like teeth sticking from the bottom. The referee stepped in.
"Man, this guy's huge," Sora said.
"Well, King Hippo packs a real mean punch," Brian said.
"You don't seem too worried," Kairi said.
"Well, a lot of people bet their money on King Hippo to win this fight, but I have a strong feeling that these poor bastards are going to lose all their money before the next round," Brian said.
"You didn't bet on this fight, did you?" Sora asked.
"No, I'm not a gambler. I'm just watching this just for fun. And I just wanna see the look on their faces when Hippo goes down like a ton of bricks," Brian said, laughing.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Our Traverse Town boxing match is about to begin! In this corner, I present the young and slick, Little Mac!" The referee announced. The crowd cheered as Little Mac waved to everyone. "And in this corner, hailing from Hippo Island, our champion, King Hippo!" The crowd started to jeer at King Hippo.
"BOO! BOO!" The crowd jeered. King Hippo made some hippo sounds. He looked at Little Mac and laughed.
"Take him down, Mac. And remember, watch his punches," Doc said.
"Right," Little Mac nodded. The two boxers approach each other and the referee stood between them.
"Alright, fellas, you know the rules. There's no hitting below the belt, and there's no kicking. Come out fighting," the referee said as the bell rings. King Hippo attempts to make the first punch, but Little Mac dodged and gave him a punch in his stomach, making his crown hop on his head. King Hippo dropped his shorts, revealing that he's wearing star underwear. King Hippo keeps pulling them up. King Hippo lands a jab on Mac and gave him a series of punches, knocking him down. Mac struggles to get on his feet before the referee could start counting.
"Come on, Mac, get him!" Sora shouted, rooting for him.
"Pika!" Pikachu added.
Little Mac came at King Hippo again, attempting to punch him, but King Hippo blocked his punches until King Hippo left himself opened again. King Hippo countered him by punching him. Just when King Hippo was about to finish him off, Little Mac jabs to block the punch and then gave King Hippo a series of rapid fire punches on King Hippo. Little Mac gave the fat boxer one more punch in the gut, knocking King Hippo on the mat. The referee came to the fallen fighter.
"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!" The referee counted. He raises Little Mac's arm. "The winner and new champion, Little Mac!" The crowd cheered on as Little Mac punches the air.
"Alright!" Sora cheered.
"Way to go!" Kairi added.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"Ah, crap! I bet all my money on Hippo!" One of the spectators exclaimed.
Just then, a man, carrying a wheelbarrow full of munny is seen cartwheeling out. It was obvious he bet on Little Mac to win.
"A round of drinks on me at Tappers!" The man shouted. Some of the crowd cheered on.
"Looks like not everyone is down about the loss of the king," Kairi said.
"Well, Traverse Town has a new champion," Sora said.
"Sure does," Brian agreed.
Now that the event was over and done with Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel went to the gates and returned to the Gummi Ship and sets off for the next world.
