I was inspired to develop this story from a social media post. The central premise explores how events might have unfolded differently if Anakin had been assigned a group of younglings to mentor; this is my interpretation of that concept. Anakin might be a Sith, but he's nothing like Cody expected. He understands the clones in a way the Jedi never have and he understands what they are, better than maybe Cody himself.
