A soft knock at the door caused Emily, JJ and Libby all to raise their eyes, but as the door opened and Tara popped her head around the door, a smile quickly crept across Emily's face.

"Hey Tara, great to see you."

Tara smiled as she walked in, closing the door behind her.

"Libby this is my friend Tara who I told you about. Tara and JJ are going to ask you some questions now, is that ok?"

Libby nodded her head as Emily stood up and walked around her desk, crouching in front of Libby as she gently put her hand on the young girl's cheek.

"Anytime you need to stop, or have a break you tell them ok? And I'm going to be right here, I am not going anywhere Libby, remember this is a safe place."

Emily spoke softly as she helped Libby to stand up and watched as the young girl walked between JJ and Tara. Emily knew that they were heading to Tara's office and all she could do was wait and hope that Libby was strong enough to answer their questions.

There were three comfy chairs in Tara's office and she had already arranged them in a circle with a small table in the middle, silently Libby sat down on a chair and picked up a cuddly bear that was on the table, holding it tightly as she looked at the other women in anticipation.

"So Libby how is you wrist, is it still sore?"

Tara looked at Libby as she spoke, watching carefully as the young girl took a deep breath, her fingers clenching the soft toy harder as she spoke.

"A little."

"I'm sorry about that Libby. Can you tell us how you hurt your wrist?

Libby looked down at the cuddly toy as her voice quietly spoke.

"I fell while I was running, I landed on it."

"Were you running from someone?"

Libby nodded her head but failed to look at Tara.

"Can you tell me who you were running from?"

"The men who hurt my parents. They tried to hold onto me but my mother yelled at me to run. I had never heard her so scared, so I just ran."

"Ok Libby, that's really good that you managed to get away. Can you tell me how many men were with you parents?"

"Three."

"Can you describe them to me?"

Tara spoke softly as Libby brought her head up, gently nodding her head before she looked back down at the floor.

"They were all wearing black clothes, they had black masks covering their mouths but I could see their eyes. Two had blue eyes and one had brown eyes. Their voices were muffled but they didn't have American accents."

"Ok that's really good Libby, can you describe the accent at all?"

"I think it was Eastern European, Aunt Emily sometimes speaks different languages to me."

"That's great Libby. Do you know how the men got inside your apartment and what time they got there?"

"They were already there when I got home from school, I heard raised voices from my father's office. I could hear him yell out and then I heard a shot. It was then that my mother ran out of the room, she saw me and told me to run."

Libby's voice broke and the tears started to run down her face, quickly JJ passed Libby a tissue.

"It's ok Libby, take your time."

JJ smiled and spoke quietly as Tara nodded, both of them allowing Libby a few minutes, but it wasn't long before the young girl started to speak again.

"I didn't know where to go, after I hurt my wrist I just got on a train. I knew where Aunt Emily lived and that she would help me."

Libby spoke through the tears as she hid her face behind the soft toy for a minute. Tara looked at JJ who nodded at her, they both knew that the next question was going to be even harder for Libby. Tara took a deep breath and lent forward slightly, keeping her voice soft and steady.

"Libby, you told Emily that it hurt when you went to the toilet. The doctor at the hospital examined you didn't she?"

Libby nodded her head and looked at Tara, her eyes red and puffy.

"Libby who else hurt you?"

"My father took me to a house three days ago, he said that I just had to be good and not to get upset, that the men were his friends and that they wanted to meet me and give me some presents."

Libby quickly bowed her head and used the sleeve on her left arm to wipe her face.

"Libby did they give you any presents?"

"No. They made me stand in my underwear and they made me sit on their laps, they took it in turns, they touched and hurt me."

"I'm so sorry that happened to you Libby, you are being so brave. Can I ask you a couple more questions please?"

Libby opened her eyes and nodded at Tara.

"Thank you. Can you remember how many men there were and would you be able to recognise any of them again?"

"I think there were about six of them, I could probably recognise a few of them but I tried not to look."

"Afterwards did you speak to your parents about what had happened?"

"My father told me to stop crying in the car and to keep quiet. When we got home ny mother wouldn't look at me, she told me that if I told Aunt Emily what had happened I would be in trouble."

"One last question Libby, do you know where the building was?"

"It was dark but I think I might know the area it was in if I looked at a map."

Tara reached for her tablet and quickly loaded a map of where Libby lived. The young girl used her left hand to clumsily move it around before she took her hand away.

"Around here I think."

"Thank you Libby, you have been so brave and helpful."

Tara smiled as she passed the tablet to JJ to look at, but Libby quickly buried her head into the cuddly toy, her sobs audible to both women.

Tara quickly got up from her chair and put her hand gently on Libby's shoulder.

"It's ok sweetheart, let it out Libby, you're safe with us now."

Libby lifted her head up and buried her head into Tara's shoulder as Tara wrapped her arms around Libby.

"I'll go and get Emily and take this to Garcia, are you ok with Libby Tara?"

"Of course, we're fine aren't we Libby."

Tara smiled as she stayed holding Libby, allowing the Libby's tears to fall onto her shoulder.

Emily was staring at her computer screen but not really taking any of it in, her door was open and she soon caught sight of JJ walking up the stairs towards her.

"Is everything ok?"

There was an anxious tone to Emily's voice as JJ closed the door and sat down opposite Emily.

"Libby was so brave Emily, she's with Tara at the moment."

Emily nodded her head and leaned back as JJ filled her in on what Libby had told them.

"I'm going to go and update Garcia and the others, are you going to be ok Em?"

"I just need to see Libby Jen."

JJ nodded sympathetically as Emily stood up and quickly walked out of her office, taking under a minute to get to Tara's office, knocking softly on the door.

"Hey it's Emily am I ok to come in?"

"Of course Emily."

Tara still had a hold of Libby but the sobbing had subsided as Emily slowly entered, closing the door behind her.

"Hey Libs."

The sound of Emily's voice quickly had Libby bringing her head up from Tara's shoulder, before she moved away and ran towards Emily, wrapping her arms tightly around her Aunt.

"It's ok Libby, I have got you sweetheart."

Emily could feel her own tears start to trickle down her cheeks as she looked over at Tara.

"Thank you Tara. Hey sweetheart how about we go back to mine and get some rest?"

Emily felt Libby nod her head as Tara walked over and stood beside them.

"I'll take you both, stay here Emily I'll go and grab your bag."

Emily nodded her head as she stayed standing, holding Libby tight to her own body, all her thoughts were on looking after her niece and keeping her safe.
