Hello again! Back with another episode. Or chapter, or whatever you wanna call it. Gonna be a completely new one this time. New challenge and hopefully a new shift for the story. Gonna be on the slightly shorter side but hopefully it's worth it.
blee7442: Really weird that they ended up completely ignoring the whole Millie voting Lauren out thing in the original show since they built it up like this big thing. As for the challenge, it's getting scrapped completely lol. Couldn't think of a way to make it less gross but I also want to save most of those moments for a couple future episodes.
CodeTransformers: I very much accept your criticism. I'm hoping with this chapter, I can open a lot more doors in to theories about where this season can go. Glad you like the oc's and I'm hoping that they'll make more of an impact as the season continues. Part of me does need to remember as well to put my obvious bias towards the season aside but to also make it so my oc's are equal with everyone else and don't give off intense main character syndrome. That has definitely been the biggest challenge when it comes to writing this is striking that balance.
Hope you'll enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed writing it.

EPISODE 5: TRUTH OR SCARE
"Previously on Total Drama Island! MK and Cassidy came up on the Trout Immunity Statue thanks to them sharing their Drama Dollars while many came up short finding the Frogs Statue. Meanwhile, players lost their heads in a game of Capture the Skull. And despite near victory by Ripper while using Priya as a human shield, not sure if that was covered in her training, it was Emma and Harvey's teamwork who won it for the Frogs, using actual shields from the fort. At elimination, it was a mess! Damien wanted to leave but only got his own vote cast against him, Priya wanted Ripper G-O-N-E and it looked like she had the votes to do it after Cassidy and MK's confessional digging skills found out about Ripper, Chase and Zee forming their own secret alliance from a few episodes ago, but the guys decided to vote for Lauren instead, and it was so long Scary Girl and her new skull companion."
"Yeah, I'm still a little confused as to how Lauren got voted off." Chris admitted to the camera. "I mean if Millie voted for Ripper like she promised-"
"Can you theorize more quietly?" Millie walked in, interupted him during his recap.
"I tend to do these show intros alone." Chris stated. "Oh and nothing happens quietly here, Millie! Nothing!" He yells out to the entire Island. "On Total Drama Island!"
"I'm going back to bed..." Millie rolls and rubs her eyes.
TROUT CABIN DAY #9.
Millie tried to go back to sleep only to get woken up early by Priya as they had promised to try training. Cassidy was also awake, enjoying her music from her bed after MK gave her back her MP3 player for some unexplained reason.
"Alright maggot!" Priya started in a more serious, deeper voice. "Are you ready to train?"
"I guess so?" Millie responded, clearly unsure how to feel about this.
"I can't hear you!" Priya yelled
"I sure can." They heard Cassidy say as she had removed her ear buds and glared at them both due to the shouting.
"Sorry Cassie." Priya said in a lighter voice. "We'll work on that later."
Cassidy shrugged and turned her volume up to drown the two voices out. Priya then walked over to a box of apples.
"For now, just avoid the apples." She instructed as she took the first one out.
"Uh, okay!" Millie said, slightly nervous but thinking the task would be an easier one. After Priya threw the first one, she barely had any time to react before getting struck in the face. "Ow! You hit me!"
"I said avoid the apples!" Priya repeated as she threw a second one which also hit Millie, knocking her over.
CONFESSIONAL: MILLIE
Millie was shown with a blue ice pack on her forehead. "I agreed to let Priya train me because the longer I manage to stay on the Island, the more research I can do. It's why I wanted to keep Ripper around for one more challenge." She explained before falling quiet. "Okay, fine. I feel horrible after what he did to Priya! Maybe it's what I deserve. But I can't come clean, that'll get me kicked off immediately! I just have to keep going until it's all finished."
Millie continued getting pelted with apples, resorting to trying to guard herself to reduce the pain. "Can you-ouch! Why are you-oof!"
"Dig right! Dig left! You got this!" Priya shouted as she threw her last apple, causing Millie to hit the ground, feeling dizzy. Cassidy stopped with her music and couldn't stop watching, cringing at the site.
"Okay we have some work to do, but good effort! Right Cassie?" Priya turned to Cassie who took a bite out of one of the apples and was seemingly enjoying it.
"Hm? Oh yeah, she killed it." Cassidy responded with before going back to her apples. "These are really good."
CONFESSIONAL: CASSIDY
"I'm happy Lauren's gone, don't get me wrong. She gave me the creeps and I was able to get some actual sleep last night." Cassidy said with her arms up. "But I didn't need to look at the tapes to know Millie was the one who voted for her instead of Ripper. I can't believe she didn't even stand up for her friend like that."
She then reached in to her pocket to pull out her player. "I don't have much on here but what I do know is her whole research and essay routine. I knew that book was sketchy. Don't know why she's hiding it! Everyone judges each other all the time. And what's worse is she'll probably try and blame me for the vote. I gotta get her before she gets me."
"Sup, ladies?" They all heard a voice from the doorway.
"Is that Chase again?" Millie asked, getting up from the floor, still slightly dazed.
"Nope, just me." Damien confirmed. "Priya! Looking stunning as always!" He told her with his arm around her shoulder.
"R-really? Thanks!" Priya said with a blush on her face.
"I hope I can count on your support." He said while pulling out a button which had his face crossed out on it. He was wearing an identical one on his jacket.
"Oh, okay!" Priya accepted the button.
Damien then walked over to Millie and Cassidy, the former still rubbing her head with the ice pack. "How about you two?"
"Eh, sure. Why not?" Cassidy said as Damien tossed her a button.
"If you want my vote, it'll take more than superficial comments based on unrealistic standards created by media." Millie pointed out.
"Oh-ho-ho! Biggest brain on the Island!" Damien said, genuinely impressed with her view and analysis.
"That's true... Okay! I'll take one!" Millie told him, gladly taking the compliment.
"Awesome! Together, we can do this!" Damien let them know, feeling good that their 4 votes would get the job done. Afterwards, he looked around at the room. "Um, why are there apples on the floor?"
"Check it out!" They all heard another voice, this time it was Zee bursting in to the cabin, covered head to toe in buttons. "I'm button man!"
"He's my biggest supporter." Damien explained as the girls looked puzzled at Zee's new look.
"I'm gonna put one in my can!" Zee said as he pocked a hole in his can with the spike of one of the buttons which started spraying at him. He initially started screaming as if he was drowning before letting the soda in to his mouth.
CONFESSIONAL: DAMIEN
"I've had enough! So I'm running a vote Damien off the Island campaign!" Damien declared as he displayed his large collection of buttons. "Made these thanks to the vending machine! I'd rather leave by a drone today, than in a box tomorrow."
"Remember, Vote Damien to Save Damien." He reminded them all as he left the cabin for breakfast.
"What do you think?" Millie asked their group to which Cassidy wasn't sure what to say.
"As much as I'd love to give Damien what he wants and send him home, Ripper must go next!" She shouted outloud with a determined look in her eyes. They all then glanced at Zee who was sucking all the leftover soda out of the can.
"I am so uncomfortable right now." Millie admits as she and Priya agreed to take their leave to the Mess Hall.
MESS HALL DAY #9.
Julia was in her meditation pose as she glanced at her bowl of food. "Okay. Deep breaths. Be grateful for every meal." She repeated to herself.
"Morning Julia!" Harvey greeted as he sat down beside her. "Looking good today!"
"Thanks! But it's what's on the inside that counts." Julia responded with a hand to her heart.
Wayne and Raj, who were on the other side of the table, overheard their comments and looked at each other with wide eyes.
"Oh no Raj! If it's what's inside that matters then I'm in trouble!" Wayne worried with his hands on his stomach.
"For sure, eh? You were in those stalls forever!" Raj talked about as Julia started to feel nauscious over listening to their conversation.
"All the stuff that matters! Gone!" Wayne overreacted as Raj tried his best to contain his laughter.
"Hey, if it makes you feel any better, it landed on top of all my stuff that matters." Raj added as the two started to burst out laughing.
"And... I'm done eating for the day. I'm going outside now. Here." Julia announced as she pushed her bowl over to Harvey who smiled and ate it while she left to lose her lunch.
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"This may sound weird but the longer you're here, the more used to the food you get." Harvey said with a chuckle. "My challenge performance may not be getting better but my immune system sure is!" He stated proudly.
As Julia, Wayne and Raj all left the Mess Hall, Harvey continued eating as Bowie joined him with his bowl.
"Do not tell me you're actually enjoying this." Bowie told Harvey who swallowed his next mouthfull before explaining. "I don't even know if you can call that stuff food."
"I call it a worker's stomach. Anything is fuel if you put your mind to it." Harvey stated while pointing to his head. "Anything with coffee helps if you end up with a 12 hour shift."
"12 hours? Color me impressed!" Bowie gave him props for his work ethic. "So you down for some guy talk? I need some advice."
"You're coming to me for advice? I'm flattered!" Harvey chuckled. "So what's going on?"
"There's a certain guy that's caught my eye around here. And I don't want to jinx anything or get my hopes up, but I think he's starting to like me too." Bowie lowered his voice despite the two being alone.
"Aw, that's really cool!" Harvey said, happy for his friend. "So where does the advice part come in?"
"I'm more so used to just playing the flirt card, but what if I want to do more than just that. What else do I do?" Bowie wondered to which Harvey thought to himself for a while.
"Just keep showing him how awesome you are. Eventually he'll figure it out. Crush it during a challenge, talk about what you love, listen to them talk for a while. Just be casual about it." Harvey advised as Bowie took in his every word.
"That is the only sense I've gotten from you today, seriously." Bowie looked at the remaining slop in his bowl, trying to ignore it.
"Why didn't you go to Emma with this? I bet you she has dated more than anyone here." Harvey pointed out.
"I wanted another guy's thoughts. And as far as I'm concerned, we are perfectly platonic buddies." Bowie said to him which got a laugh out of Harvey as they high fived. "And between you and me, I don't think Emma's completely over Chase. I didn't want to get advice from someone who's not had a great history with men."
"What makes you say that? Today is probably the most normal I've seen her." Harvey cautiously questionned. "Has she thought of maybe seeing anyone else?"
"That's what I suggested. Don't think that's her style. Seems like her only options are getting back with Chase or staying single until she's 30." Bowie assumed which was met with slight disappointment from Harvey.
WASHROOMS: NIGHT #9.
Emma was busy brushing her teeth alongside MK who had no interest talking to anyone for the day. The two of them assumed they were alone until they heard singing coming from one of the stalls.
"I'm gonna party till I drop, because the music never stops. I'm gonna sing it till I make it as nobody else will break me!" Cassidy burst out the washrooms with her MP3 player on and felt herself turning crimson as she noticed MK and Emma watching her. "Oh... sorry. I thought I was alone."
"It's cool, I get busted for singing in the shower all the time." Emma laughed. "You have such a beautiful voice!"
"Thanks! I get practice from talking as I play video games or do concerts at birthday parties. Pretty easy when your target audience ends up being 10 year olds." Cassidy brushed off with a smile.
"Okay, babysitter of the year. Hope you're ready, because I'm making sure Chase goes right back to elimination!" Emma warns Cassie who rolls her eyes with a smile.
"We've been going back and forth. Might as well keep the tradition going." Cassie responded as Emma looked at her with determination as she left to head to sleep. "See you at the challenge tomorrow!"
"Awkward moment and conversation out the way..." MK started, checking all the stalls to make sure it was just the two of them. "What's been going on with your team?"
"Millie's been put through Priya's training camp. It's both karma and delicious." Cassie pulled out another apple and started eating it.
"Those two have really gotten close. An alliance that strong is dangerous." MK pointed out.
"Not as dangerous as what the guys have going on!" Cassidy argued. "Sure I'm mad at Millie but she's not as big of a problem for me as Chase or Ripper."
"Those two are always gonna give people reasons to vote them out. It's like two free passes on your team." MK brought up.
"I guess you're right. And anyway, we're kinda at a standstill. Damien still wants out before one of these challenges actually kills him." Cassidy talks about. "Kinda makes you feel bad for the guy after a while."
"Man, I wish I was on your team. You still have three people who are gonna get voted out before you and one of them wants to leave!" MK ranted. "On my team it's either me or Princess Julia on the chopping block."
"Your team sounds like the one I'd get along with more. I've got all the whackos over here." Cassidy groaned as she thought about the Frogs and how tame they were in comparison. "If Chris asks for team swap volunteers, we both raise our hands. Deal?"
"Cool with me." MK agreed as the two decided to call it a night before more people show up.
CONFESSIONAL: MK
"The bottom line is Cassie's safe on her team and she has the immunity statue. I'm not safe on mine. So my only strategy is to make sure we keep winning by kicking the other team while they're down." MK explained, knowing she had plenty of tricks up her sleeve to make sure she lasts in this game.
WAWANAKWA FOREST DAY #10.
The next day, the trio of Chase, Zee and Ripper were all outside as Chase was reading his magazine of under 18 world records. "Oh here's a good one. The longest burp held by Bucky Windstorm, changed his last name after this one. Belched for 12 seconds."
"Alright game on! Zee, hand me the soda." Ripper held his hand out with a determined look.
"Sure thing, would you like with or without sugar?" Zee asked as he held up both cans but Ripper just snatched one and chugged the whole can.
"This is gonna be awesome." Chase watched in excitement as Ripper finished the can quickly and felt his stomach rumbling while taking a deep breath.
The next 10 seconds were filled with loud belching noises that were heard across the Island causing Julia to mess up her makeup and waking Cassie up from her nap. "Ugh, boys." She muttered as she covered her head with her pillow.
"Darn, had a really good feeling about that one." Ripper groaned as he tossed the empty can in rage. "Normally I aim for how loud it is rather than a length record. Wonder if there's a burp-o-meter online."
"Cool." Zee nodded whilst the megaphone startled him.
As always, the Island megaphones switched on to alert the players. "Attention campers! Head to the newly put together Total Drama Ampitheatre in 10 minutes for today's epic challenge!"
AMPITHEATRE DAY #10.
"Morning campers!" Chris greeted everyone as they filled up both sets of bleachers in front of the stage with the Frogs on the left and the Trout on the right. In front of each person was a buzzer. "I took the liberty of putting together a special ampitheatre for today's challenge which I like to call Truth or Scare! A game that's sure to separate the Brave from the Dishonest."
"Are you gonna be strapping us to electric chairs again?" MK asked, clearly having watched the last time this challenge was done.
"As much as I really wanted to, it wasn't in the budget. And I'm still working through lawsuits." Chris responded bitterly. "Anyhoo, teams will go one at a time to either admit to a Truth, or complete a Scare. If the roulette lands on Scare, one of the members of the team will be chosen at random to finish it. Just to be clear, not all the Scares will be Scary. Some will be disgusting. Haha. If you finish the Scare, you score your team a point. If you fail, the other team will get a chance to pick one of their own to finish it, and they'll get the point instead."
The roulette on the Ampitheatre TV spinned to display a halo for Truth and a flame for Scare and also one for all 14 remaining players for the Scares.
"If the roulette lands on Truth, I will ask that team a humiliating, personal question. Emphasis on humiliating and personal. If the person on that team that I'm talking about hits the buzzer and owns their deed before the timer runs out, that team gets a point. But if no one owns up, the other team will have a chance to steal the point by guessing which player is guilty."
CONFESSIONAL: CHASE
"Pfft, this challenge is a piece of cake. I do dares all the time!" He explained confidently. "This could be my chance to win Emma back! She was always a sucker for a man who could hold down a dozen sheep eyes."
"Hold up, how'd you find these out?" Julia wondered, clearly uncomfortable about this.
"I have my sources." Chirs responded with a chuckle. "Also I'm stinking rich."
"Go figure." Bowie rolls his eyes, not looking forward to this.
"The team with the most points after 7 rounds wins immunity along with 5 more Drama Dollars." He explained as usual. "The losing team as always, will be sending someone home."
"Which'll be me, right?" Damien whispered to Priya.
"Everyone wants Ripper gone." She tried explaining as he sighed.
"Alright. Let's start the game!" Chris announced as the TV roulette starts to roll. "Starting off with a Truth! Frogs, since you won the last challenge, you get to go first!"
The Frogs all gulped, nervous about what the host had in store. He then pulled out a card to read. "Let's start with an easy one. Who went streaking for their end of year summer party?"
"Pfft hahaha! That was wicked!" Wayne cheered while pressing his button. "We just finished our games for the season and finished with some Truth or Dare."
"And Wayne never turns down a dare." Raj added while the bros laughed and fist bumped.
"Alright. Frogs score a point! Trout. Time for a scare." The roulette started rolling with all the Trout's faces on them as they watched nervously. "Chase! You're up!"
"Bring it on!" Chase challenged, not even knowing his scare yet.
"Chase, your scare is a classic. In fact, we've done it twice!" Chris hinted at before the scene then switched to the outhouse with everyone standing around it.
"Uh, why are we at the outhouse?" Chase asked, aloof.
Chris then handed him a straw. "I think you can figure out the rest."
Chase looked slightly nervous but tried putting on a brave face as he took the straw and marched in. "Your scare lasts until you manage to stomach three sips without puking."
"I'm going in!" Chase said with determination as he marched in to the outhouse.
"Has he done this before?" Harvey turned to Emma who took her time thinking.
"Closest he ever got dared was dog food." Emma explained back to when they were still living together. "He hasn't had the best experience with toilets."
"Can you name me someone who has?" Harvey asked as Emma burst out laughing at this.
Everyone then heard vomiting noises coming from the outhouse as Chase opened the door, came out, dazed as he fell on the floor.
"Yikes. No point there." Chris announced as he turns to the Frogs. "Frogs, any takers?"
They all fell silent as the host felt he got his answer. "No? Okay, next round."
The group were all back at the theatre as Chris kickstarted the next round. "Frogs, it's another Scare."
The wheel continued to rotate until it landed. "MK! You're up!"
"Great." MK rolled her eyes as Chef brung in a bear with what appeared to look like a chain around it.
"Your scare is to get the chain off of this bear without waking it." The host instructed as everyone seemed terrified.
MK, seeming petrified, nodded and approached the bear.
CONFESSIONAL: MK
"I wasn't scared. Hello? Secret talent." MK reminded everyone. "And even if things go South with the bear, I have the quips to run away fast enough too." She then grew silent and felt awkward with the camera there. "We uh, we don't need to get in to that."
Everyone seemed shocked to see her slowly but surely make quick work of the bear, getting the chain off while leaving it in it's current state.
"Wow, honestly expected a life support call in the next 10 seconds." Chris admits as MK went to sit back down with everyone. "That's 2-0 Frogs!"
"Nice job MK!" Emma said, patting her on the back.
"You're braver than I am." Harvey said, gulping at the bear still despite not being anywhere close to it.
"Trout. It's a Truth!" Chris told the group.
CONFESSIONAL: MILLIE
"If it gets out that I'm writing a book, I'll never hear the end of it." Millie says, not knowing what kinds of Truths they have dug up about her. "If it comes to it, I'll just have to stay quiet. No challenge win is worth sacrificing my research."
"Which of you haven't been kissed by a girl?" Chris read out.
"C'mon guys. We need to get on the board." Priya whispered to the group.
Everyone looked at each other until Ripper groaned and buzzed in.
"Correct, that's 1 for the Trout." Chris confirmed as the score was now 2-1.
"Wow, shocker." Millie retorted.
"What? You're telling me you guys have?" Ripper tried bringing up.
"Well yeah, dude. My Mom." Zee told him. No one seemed to argue with that.
"I've been out a couple times." Cassidy shrugged.
"Frogs. Time for another Truth." Chris said.
"No fair!" Ripper objected. "How come they're getting all the easy ones?"
"Want me to read you another truth?" Chris threatened Ripper who didn't want two in a row. This shut him up. "Okay. Frogs. Time for a tougher question. Who's Mom or Dad is currently in prison."
Everyone was left speechless, glancing back and forth. A buzzer then went off as everyone looked towards that person.
"My Mom got done in for kidnapping." Julia confessed with a sigh.
"I'm real sorry to hear that." Harvey tried comforting her.
"Wow, that's sad." Bowie added with his hand to his heart.
"And the Frogs score again! Trout, ready for your next scare?" Chris asked the group.
"What kind of question is that?" Damien asked with a panic, hoping the roulette wouldn't land on him.
"Cassidy. You're up." Chris said. Cassidy sighed, seeing her face shown on the roulette.
CONFESSIONAL: CASSIDY
"Okay, I know there's been bears and outhouse drinking but how bad could it be?" Cassidy asked, trying to remain hopeful. "I saw every season. There's not much they can do that I can be scared of."
"You're scare is a teenager classic. A tattoo!" Chris revealed which confused everyone.
"Don't you need to be 18 for a tattoo?" MK wondered.
"Not to worry. These ones don't last long. Only until the end of the season." Chris reassured with Chef bringing out the equipment.
"Let's just get this over with." Cassidy stood up and walked towards the chair.
The next scene shown was of her sitting down inbetween Chase and Ripper, both of which struggling not to laugh as she grumbled with a tattoo of Chris's face on her right cheek.
"Hey. I say you got off easy on that one. My face is everywhere after all." Chris bragged. "The score is now 3-2, Frogs! Speaking of which, it's your turn."
Bowie was then shown on the stage with a covered dish in front of him.
"Alright, Bowie. For your Scare, you gotta finish this chilli pepper." Chef then uncovered what looked like a ghost pepper.
"Hot and spicy? It's like looking in a mirror." Bowie laughed as he picked up the pepper. He then took his first bite. "Mm, not bad. Not bat at al-AHHHH".
He let out multiple shrieks as he made his way down to the washrooms.
"Ooh, no point there." Chris laughed. Chef then brought out another dish. "Trout, anyone got room for seconds?"
"Oh I so got this." Chase stood up confidently.
"As if!" Ripper taunted. "You couldn't even get down that bottle of hot sauce the other day!"
"Neither could you!" Chase shot back as the two went in to arguing again.
"I guess I can do it." Zee raised his hand with a shrug as he walked towards the plate.
"You're kidding. Right?" Millie asked in disbelief.
"They won't stop until someone does." Cassidy pointed out as the two guys stopped arguing in the mean time.
Zee then stared at the pepper for a while before picking it up, eating the whole thing in one bite. No reaction.
"I told you guys Zee was a robot!" Ripper yelled, annoyed that this didn't seem to phase him.
"Mm, not bad. This one's pretty wicked, Chef." Zee complimented the cook as he walked towards the others.
"Wow. I did not see that coming." Chris said, almost impressed.
CONFESSIONAL: ZEE
"My favorite snacks were always sour gummies and hot sauce." Zee explained to the camera. "I ate so much of them that I couldn't really taste them anymore. Doctor called it grave mouth. Switched to soda after that." He finished as he sipped on his can.
"The score is now 3-3. Trout, this is your chance to take the lead." Chris instructed as he glanced at the wheel which turned out to be a Truth. "Who ran over an animal during their driving test?"
The Trout's eyes widened with half of them looking over at Ripper.
"What? I don't drive." He defended as if this news was offending to him.
Eventually time ran out and Chris turned to the Frogs.
"Frogs, any idea?" He asked before Emma almost instantly raised her hand.
"Chase, 100%. He ran over a squirrel and laughed about it." She called out through gritted teeth.
"Correct! Frogs retake the lead!" Chris updated the group as the score was now 4-3 as they were now over halfway through the challenge.
"Seriously?" Millie turned to Chase. "Why didn't you fess up if you knew she was going to answer it."
"Oh come on! Since when do squirrels count as animals?" Chase held his hands up, oblivious.
"He did fail, right?" MK whispered to Emma who nodded in response.
"Relied on me and Miles for driving before I left him." She specified, the squirrel bringing up bad memories for her.
"Frogs. Truth time! Who faced heat for pushing an old lady down the stairs?" Chris read out which caused everyone to fall silent. Eventually time ran out and Chris turned to the Trout who merely shrugged.
"No point scored there. Moving on..." Chris moved on while Julia had a guilty look on her before looking away which MK noticed.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"What? I was late for a shoot with Mandy Belleville. I was in a rush, and besides, I was doing everyone a favor. She was holding up the crowd." Julia held her hands up, not wanting to admit this out in the open for fear of getting eliminated or cancelled online.
"Trout, you're up to bat with another scare." The roulette kept going.
"Don't be me, don't be me, don't be me." Damien closed his eyes.
"Damien!" Chris announced to which Damien groaned.
"Goodbye cruel world." He cried.
"Your scare? Zipline from one side of the Island to that canoe over there without getting caught by sharks." Chris instructed as the sharks emerged their fins from the sea with the canoe being shown on the other side.
"What is it with you and sharks?" Damien wondered as he was handed a helmet and was brought over to the top of the mountain where the zipline was setup and he was connected to the wire.
"3, 2, 1 and... go!" Chris proceeded to push Damien off the cliff as he screamed in a high pitched tone, causing the sharks to cover their non existent ears and not attack him as he landed in the canoe, still closing his eyes and screaming as he got back to shore, everyone waiting for him where Ripper slapped him, which helped him come to his senses.
"Huh? I'm alive? I'm alive!" Damien cheered as the score was now 4-4 heading in to round 6.
CONFESSIONAL: DAMIEN
"Woah, did I just do that?" He asked himself, speechless yet excited. "I just did that!"
"Frogs, time for your scare. Emma, you're up!" Chris said as the roulette stopped on her face.
"Bring it on! I'll do anything." She said confidently.
"Ooh, you're not gonna like this one." Chris teased as a chair and a buzzer was revealed with Chef standing behind. "Get your head shaved, by Chef!"
A lot of people gasped as Emma gulped, slowly approaching Chef.
"What's the big deal? Hair grows back." Bowie shrugged.
"For you it does. I spent 5 years getting mine as it is." Julia bragged, patting her hair.
CONFESSIONAL: EMMA
"When I was still in school, there was a talent show. And when I got up to sing, my hair all of a sudden started falling out!" Emma recalled with a horrified look.
"Turns out Chase snuck hair removal cream in to my shower gel. I was laughed off stage. I didn't even go to prom!" She covered her eyes in embarrassment.
"What'll it be, Emma?" Chris waited for her and everyone waited to see if she'd take the seat in the barber's chair.
"It's okay if you can't do it, Em." Harvey tried letting her know.
"No it isn't! We'd be blowing our lead!" MK argued.
"I... I can't do it." Emma sighed and walked away with her head down.
"Pfft, weak!" Ripper taunted as she sat back down.
"Care to put your money where your mouth is, Ripper?" Chris offered as it was time for the Trout to decide if one of them wants to do it.
"Uh, well, um... y'see..." Ripper stammered, clearly wanting to keep his hair. "People would pay a million bucks to have hair like mine. No way am I gonna just get rid of it!"
"No way would I get rid of my hair." Chase seconded. "Sure I'd look just as awesome bald but that's something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy." He continued, oblivious to Emma's fuming reaction.
"I can give it a shot." Zee raised his hand. He had quite the long ponytail so it didn't phase him as much.
"Wow, Zee's on a role today." Cassidy observed with volunteering for another scare.
"Go Zee!" Priya cheered.
Zee sat down on the chair as Chef made quick work, slicing off just over half his ponytail as he admired Chef's work. "Woah, sweet cut my man." He admired Chef's work as everyone went to high five him.
"And the Trout take the lead! Time for another scare for you guys." Chris announced. The Trout were ahead 5-4 and had a chance to extend it if they finished this next one.
The roulette kept spinning between the 7 remaining members until it landed on... Millie!
"Uh oh..." Millie gulped as behind the curtain was now a boxing ring with a kangaroo.
"Inside this ring, you'll find the Wawanakwan beatboxer. Manage to strike it down and you score another point for the team." Chris said as Millie wasn't sure if she could do this.
"I... I..." Millie trailed off as Priya felt bad for her.
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA
"Friends do anything for each other. One time I crawled in to a crocodile pen in the zoo to get back my Dad's wallet. To this day, I still couldn't tell if that was intentional." Priya shrugged, seeming oblivious to the red flags.
"Chris! I'll take Millie's place!" Priya volunteered.
"Wait. That's allowed?" Bowie asked, returning from his bathroom trip.
"Eh, sure. It's our last scare anyway." Chris shrugged as Priya stepped forward.
"Wait, Priya. Are you sure about this?" Millie held Priya by the shoulder, clearly feeling bad that she was putting herself at risk.
"I did boxing and jousting during my second year of training. I got this!" Priya bragged as she stepped in to the ring.
"Alright, Priya. If you can pin down the boxer for 3 seconds, you get the point." Chris said as she did stretches with a lot from both teams unsure if they even wanted to watch. "And... go!"
Priya charged forward but was no match for the boxer as it delivered strong blows and ended with him stomping on her.
"And... that's no point for the Trout." Chris looked on as Damien and Millie helped Priya out of the ring as she was still feeling dazed.
CONFESSIONAL: MILLIE
"Priya was willing to step in just so I'd be okay? That's never happened to me before! Maybe I shouldn't go through with talking about her in my book. She's a good friend." Millie contemplated while looking at her book which was more or less done at this point.
"Okay, Frogs. Anyone want to-" Chris started before getting interupted by Wayne and Raj sprinting past him and in to the ring.
"HOOT HOOT!" The two cried out as they charged towards the boxer only to get kicked out of the ring and in to the floor.
"Ugh... I'm a smelly hot dog type..." Raj blurted out in a daze while him and Wayne were taken away by Chef.
"Well not sure what that was but I was asking for one person." Chris specified as Bowie looked worried.
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"Ugh, I hope Raj is okay. His determination is so adorable. What can I say? I guess I'm a sucker for hockey players now." Bowie shrugged and laughed.
"Okay. Last round. The Trout is ahead by a point. If the Frogs fail to buzz in on this next truth, they lose the challenge without the Trout having to guess or score their point." Chris broke down the scores as the Frogs could feel the pressure. "Who secretely has a crush on someone on this team? And remember, only one person has to buzz in."
Things fell quiet amongst the Frogs with a couple of them sweating.
"Let's just get this over with." Harvey let out as he pressed the buzzer.
"Correct! Score is all tied up." Chris pointed to the score board. "The Trout still have a chance to win though."
"So...?" Bowie tried prying Harvey about admitting to the last question.
"Nice try, buddy." Harvey shot back, not ready to tell his friend just yet.
The wheel went and landed on Truth again. "Which of you has been keeping research and judgements on the cast?"
"Oh please, this is an easy one!" Ripper boasted. "Someone hurry up so we can win!"
His demands were met with silence as no one buzzed in and the timer ran out.
"No one? Okay, let's ask the Frogs. If they get this right, they win." Chris turned to the other team who started discussing.
CONFESSIONAL: MK
"Sure, I coulda ratted out Millie but I'm trying to stay under the radar after Nichelle left." MK explained to the camera. "And anyway, I prefer to do things behind the scenes. So if the Trout lose again, I'm gonna make sure she gets the boot. Flying under the radar is my trick."
"Um... Damien?" Bowie guessed for the group.
"Incorrect! Looks like we're going to the tiebreaker!" Chris announced with mild excitement. "I'll need one volunteer from each team to do a head to head scare."
"I got this guys." Emma instantly stood up, wanting to personally send Chase's team to elimination again and to redeem herself from turning down the last scare.
"Time to get Ripped!" Ripper announced as half his team sighed as there was no stopping him.
The two stepped on to the stage and faced each other with crossed eyes. "Emma, Ripper. To win immunity from your team and be safe from elimination, all you have to do is chug an entire jug of... mineral water!"
"That's it?" Ripper asked with a cocky laugh. "I've got this in the bag!"
"Let me finish." Chris glared at the delinquent. "First one to finish their entire jug, without burping or throwing up, wins. And after your breakfast of Chef's special along with whatever else mighta made you nauscious during the challenge, this could get messy, hehe."
CONFESSIONAL: RIPPER
"This is perfect! There's no way Emma can hold down that whole jar without puking her guts out." Ripper claimed with a grin. "If I can hold my burping for 12 seconds, not only will I win immunity, but I'll crush that world record!"
"3, 2, 1, go!" Chris blew the airhorn as both started chugging away with Ripper starting to pull away.
"Emma couldn't even hold down a couple drinks of soda at the fair. We got this." Chase told Zee.
"Who doesn't like soda?" Zee wondered.
The Frogs were all cheering for Emma as she felt her stomach rumbling.
CONFESSIONAL: EMMA
"I've drank a lot worse but having that water mixed in with everything else did not sit well." Emma groaned as she was still holding her stomach.
Ripper had to take a breather but was almost done with his jug. He then felt his stomach rumbling.
"This is the one!" He cheered as he prepared himself.
"Ripper! Not now!" Chase tried warning him as they were so close to winning but Ripper ignored him.
"What's happening?" Priya asked with a worried look.
Ripper took a deep breath and let out a belch that could be heard through out the entire Island with both teams along with the hosts covering their ears.
"7...8...9. Wow, he might actually get this!" Chase kept track using his watch.
A couple seconds later, Ripper felt light headed and fell to the floor. Emma felt grossed out but managed to finish her jug and keep everything down as she handed it to Chris.
"And the Frogs of Death win again!" He declared as the Frogs all erupted with cheers with the hockey bros fist bumping and Bowie clapping his hands in excitement.
"Ugh... how long was that?" Ripper glanced up at Chase who walked up to him.
"11 seconds." Chase showed his watch which was switched over to the stopwatch function.
"Aw, puss buckets!" Ripper cursed as he pounded the floor.
"Team Trout, I'll be seeing you guys at the elimination ceremony. Chef's serving leftovers in the mess hall in case any of you want one last meal." Chris teased as he left the team to wallow in their loss.
MESS HALL DAY #10.
Cassidy, Millie and Priya all decided they had enough room for leftovers and were in the Mess Hall eating. After a few moments of awkward silence, Damien walked up to join them.
"Hey guys, remember those buttons?" he asked as he was noticeably no longer wearing his.
"Do you still want us to vote you off?" Priya wondered as she was poking her food. "You did do awesome in that challenge so I'd feel bad not giving you what you want."
"It would be our way of saying thanks!" Millie added. Damien however shook his head.
"Honestly? That challenge was some of the most fun I had in a while! I change my mind. I'd love to stay!" He revealed with his fists pumped.
"Well who do we vote for then?" Priya asked the group.
"Ripper completely blew it at the tiebreaker." Millie ranted. "It's about time he gets what he deserves."
"Well we wouldn't have even had a tiebreaker if someone had admitted to their research." Cassie suddenly spoke up, looking at Millie.
"Why are you looking at me?" Millie asked with an anxious tone.
"It's obvious you've been using that book to write harsh things about us. Research, judgements, you're the only one who ticks the boxes. At least when Ripper has a problem, he says it to your face." Cassidy accused her which caused Priya and Damien to gasp. "And I know you're the one who voted Lauren off instead of Ripper."
"Millie, is this true?" Priya looked over at her with genuine emotion in her eyes.
"No...I...It's just...yes." Millie finally admitted with her head down. "I'm the one who voted Lauren out."
"How could you do that? I thought we were friends!" Priya said in shock that her supposed friend lied to her.
"I had to get my research done and I couldn't lose Ripper because of that. I'm trying to work on this essay and if I get an A, I can finally work towards getting my degree." Millie opened up to the group. "I was the one keeping research just because I wanted to write about the failures of my generation. I'm sorry."
"I get that Millie but there are some things you just don't do." Damien shook his head. "I forgive you though. We all have opinions of people. Right Priya."
"I don't care what you're writing in there. I just can't believe you didn't trust me enough to tell me and you kept Ripper around because of it!" Priya admitted.
"I just didn't want to get eliminated. Just please don't vote me off because of this." Millie pleaded with the group. "The four of us can still work together!"
"I'll only do it we vote for Chase tonight." Cassidy laid out.
"Why him over Ripper?" Priya asked in shock, not wanting Ripper to survive yet another elimination.
"If he stays, Emma's just gonna make sure we lose over and over again until we lose him." Cassidy responded. "There's no way she woulda tried that hard if he wasn't still here."
"And he didn't score us anything." Damien chimed in. "I'm in."
"Me too. Thanks guys. I promise, no more going behind your backs." Millie promised with her hand over her heart.
CONFESSIONAL: CASSIDY
"MK wants me to vote out Millie to weaken Priya but Chase leaving would be so much better." Cassidy weighed out. "He's behind that whole alliance so I need to split that up when I've got the chance."
CONFESSIONAL: MILLIE
"I guess I can always write a different essay." Millie shrugged, still feeling awful about hurting Priya's feelings. "It was pretty nice of Priya to forgive me. Even if deep down, I know I didn't deserve it. She's just trying to navigate life just like the rest of us. Who can judge her for that?"
"I'm telling you, there's no way they don't vote me off tonight." Ripper tried arguing with Chase as they were on their way back to the cabins to relax before the vote.
"If Damien votes for himself, and us three all vote for Damien, we're fine!" Chase tries reasoning, going off of Damien voting for himself at the last elimination.
"Yeah, if he still wants to leave." Ripper said.
"Wait, what's that?" Chase came to a stop as he and Ripper eyed a familiar looking book laying in front of the stairs.
"Hey! Isn't that the book nerd 1's been face deep in?" Ripper laughed back at when he was trying to steal the book from her.
"What could be in here..." Chase wondered as he started opening the book and reading through it with Ripper as the two gasped.
CAMPFIRE CEREMONY 5: NIGHT #10.
The seven remaining members of the Trout walked through the forest to the ceremony where a snake hissed at them from behind. They were all seated in a row with Chris taking the plate of 6 marshmallows. "Ferocious Trout. Didn't expect to see you here again so soon. Oh, who am I kidding? You guys completely blew it today!"
The Trout all sighed at their performance as Chris continued on. "Back to back losses just means tonight you're sending another team member home. Chef?"
"Chase. You spent today's challenge trying to show off in front of your ex but ended up scoring nothing for your team." Chef scorned him who just sighed and slumped over.
CONFESSIONAL: CHASE
"Okay, I might be in trouble tonight but I thought doing all those crazy things was what got Emma to fall madly in love with me in the first place!" Chase defended. "Can't blame a guy for trying."
"Millie!" Chef called up next.
"Wait, what did I do?" Millie asked, puzzled.
"You spent more time today judging other people's deeds and dares than admitting to some yourself." Chef specified which got Millie to gulp.
CONFESSIONAL: MILLIE
"I feel so much better now that I came clean." Millie said, feeling the weight off her shoulders. "I've got a solid group and I'm flying under the radar! There's no way I get voted off."
"And Ripper. You coulda won it for your team at the tiebreaker but instead blew it when it came to putting your needs first." Chef stated as Ripper rolled his eyes yet again at being called out.
CONFESSIONAL: RIPPER
"I knew that would come back to bite me but I'd rather be a world record holder and fail than having to put up with these nerds for another few weeks." Ripper badmouthed as he felt secure in his decision.
Everyone finished casting their votes as they went to sat down, some feeling noticeably more confident than others. "Alright. You know the routine. If you get a marshmallow, you're safe..."
"Priya."
"Cassidy."
"Zee."
"And Damien."
"You are all safe." Chris then turns to face the 3 remaining players as he picks up the second to last marshmallow. "I have 2 marshmallows left, and 3 of you. Someone's about to go home. Who's it gonna be...?"
"Just give Millie and Chase their dumb marshmallows." Ripper said, cutting the host off. "We all know I'm the one going ho-" He ranted before Chris shoved the marshmallow in his mouth to shut him up.
"Wait, what?" Chase questioned as he was expecting to receive the next marshmallow.
"Wait, what?" Ripper muffled with it still in his mouth.
"Which leaves Chase and Millie." Chris revealed as the two looked equally shocked and nervous.
CONFESSIONAL: MILLIE.
"Wait, but it can't be me!" Millie said, still in a state of shock. "I'm not a threat to anyone!"
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA.
"I voted for Millie thinking no one else would! Because I was upset and wanted to scare her a little." Priya blurted out, feeling like this was a mistake. "Did I seriously just vote off my best friend?"
"And the final marshmallow goes to..."

"Chase!"
"Phew." Chase wiped the sweat off his forehead as he caught the marshmallow.
"WAIT, WHAT?" Millie, Cassidy, Damien and Priya all cried out.
"You really need to stop doing that." Chris told them.
"Guess you shoulda followed my advice." Chase shrugged with a smile as he popped the marshmallow in his mouth.
"Millie, you've been voted off." Chris said bluntly as Millie looked around shocked. All she could do was sigh as she got up and started to leave the campfire.
"Millie wait!" Priya cried out as she caught up to her. "I'm so sorry, It was all my fault! You don't deserve to be leaving."
Millie only smiled in response. "Don't worry, I never wanted to win this show in the first place! I'd rather have a friend like you any day of the week. And I never got to thank you for trying to fight that boxer for me."
The two then hugged it out for a while.
"Aw, it's a happy ending!" Chris said, trying to care but dropping the charade almost instantly. "I don't care for that. Millie, you're running late for a date with the drone of despair. Tick tock!"
Millie walked on to the dock, sighing to herself. "I shoulda known that karma would've came for me eventually but before Chase and Ripper? That's gonna bother me more than leaving this early."
"On the bright side, at least I won't have to worry about my book anytime soon. I can just write another one." She shrugged as she reached the end of the dock. Millie's eyes then widened as she suddenly remembered something. "Wait... my book! I need to get my boo-oof!"
But it was yet again too late as the drone grabbed her by the arm and flew her away. Over in the cabins, MK watched and let out a grin. "I guess the truth does hurt after all." She said while holding up Millie's book.
"Don't worry! We'll mail it to you!" Chris called out after her before whispering to the camera, "After the season. Heh heh."
"Wow, huh? This day had everything! Truths, lies, Scares and a dramatic campfire ceremony to feed the appetite. What will we have next for our unlucky 13 campers? Who is Harvey crushing on? What crazy scheme will MK cook up next? Will Chase find anymore ways of humiliating himself in front of Emma? And how will Priya do without her best friend around? Find out next time on Total Drama Island!"
VOTES.
Chase - Millie
Ripper - Millie
Priya - Millie
Zee - Millie
Cassidy - Chase
Damien - Chase
Millie - Chase
18TH - CALEB
17TH - AXEL
16TH - NICHELLE
15TH - LAUREN
14TH - MILLIE
And there we have it! First major change of the season with Millie getting sent packing after only 5 episodes. Might seem a bit too early but wanted to give everyone else at least one more episode. Really it was all about her karma coming ahead after her logic over friendship decision at the previous elimination and me feeling like her notebook plot dragged on just a bit too long, figured this was the right time to end it. There was a what if in my mind at play too of if Priya's vote was the decider between Millie and Ripper in episode 8 and she sent Millie home by accident. Don't worry though, this won't be the last we see of Millie or her notebook.
I was tempted to change that last part of the challenge so that Millie's book gets completely exposed to the whole cast with MK bringing up her reasoning to get her team the win but ended up not going through with it and opted for the tiebreaker instead since I think the book being out in the open would just prompt everyone to go looking for it to see what Millie's gossip on them was and that would end on a bit of a stinker, especially when there's still a lot more season to go. Would've felt a bit too similar to Nichelle and that was only a couple episodes ago. And I needed the Trout guys finding out about it so they had a reason to vote for her. Idk, you guys can let me know which you would've preferred if you want. I could always just re-edit the episode but I was a bit pressed for time when it came to deciding between the two scenes. I wanted to give Emma another chance to be a standout in challenges and Ripper another reason to be targeted.
Probably just me being biased but this is probably my favorite episode so far if not for any other reason but the challenge letting me write more about the characters and letting you guys see a couple of my personal headcannons for them. Let me know what you think!
As always, until next time. See you whenever!
