Welcome back to another episode. This'll be my second shot at a somewhat original challenge in a classic Total Drama location. Felt weird they didn't even do one challenge at Boney Island since I've always loved the creepy scenery it had going on. Scary Girl's paradise, that's for sure. How will these 12 remaining players react? Time to find out.
Cody Fanatic: My original plan had Damien made it further was a teacher/student arc with Priya. Kinda like with Millie. Someone who hasn't seen the show and someone who knows all about it seemed like a great idea. But it's also something I think would have grown old after a few episodes since there's only so many danger spots you can put Damien in lol. And Zee's just too much fun so I couldn't let him go just yet.
Fireball88: I find it hard to believe Chase was always the way he was to Emma. But it also seemed like she was fine dating him since he was the only guy to notice her. MK's not used to having friends and prefers to rely on herself, but she also gets that mutual goals are very much a thing in Total Drama, but I guess we'll see if those goals change for either her or Cassie. The archetype ideas mainly came from what I felt were underrepresented in the original season, especially Harvey and how not every teen grows up rich and some have to work from an early age.
CodeTransformers: Completely agree on how the show handled the elimination. Damien being someone who's not watched the show and as a result, able to bring his ideals and morals from outside the show, learning that the million isn't everything and he actually found courage for a while seemed like enough for his arc this season and I wanted him to still have a strong last episode. I won't speak much on Ripper and how much further he makes it here, only that he's very divided in terms of funny and unfunny aspects of his character. I have cut out the whole farting aspect and leaned in more towards his guys stick together mentality, his lack of care and trust for people and the whole world record thing. I am neutral on him in the actual show of course, only enjoying him in half his episodes.
blee7442: I'm glad a couple of you saw this as a step up from the original show as far as Damien's elimination goes. I was worried it was gonna get chalked up as plot armor for Priya and Cassie lol. Emma is pretty dense but that was always one of my takeaways from her character, especially when it came to going back to Chase both times. Hope you enjoy this episode!

EPISODE 7: THE HAUNTING OF BONEY ISLAND
"Last time on Total Drama Island! It was a fun guessing game for Emma as she assumed that Harvey's crush was Julia when it actually turned out to be her. These people have weird tastes. This turned twice as awkward when it turned out Julia had a boyfriend back at home and Emma didn't know what to tell Harvey while Raj didn't know what to tell his buddy Wayne about his crush on Bowie. Who knew one team could be all 80s romance issues? Speaking of issues, this challenge was all about sky high drama. While some had a barrel of laughs, or a crabby time, others had a surprising shark infested tapioca romance. And no one was more excited about the kiss than Wayne! And once all the fun of flinging had been flung, the Frogs won their third straight challenge. MK tried to wave the red flag on Julia but didn't get an audience. Cassidy wanted Priya gone for her voting Millie out and messing up her plans but after another terrifying challenge brought him to his breaking point, Damien took the fall and asked to be voted out to protect her. How sweet. I almost threw up in my mouth. Who will be next to face the drone? Find out on Total Drama Island!"
TROUT CABIN: DAY #13.
Ever since Millie left, the girls cabin has been noticably quiet lately with only 2 girls occupying it. Priya was the first to wake up to do her stretches until Cassidy walked up from behind her.
"Hey Priya, can we talk?" She asked softly.
"If you're going to tell me that voting Millie off was a terrible idea again, save it." Priya turned around and pointed at her face.
"Huh? No! I'm over that. I just wanted to see if you were okay." Cassie admitted.
"Wait, really?" Priya stopped what she was doing and went to face her.
"I know it's probably difficult losing both your friends like that. I just don't want there to be any hard feelings, that's all." Cassie told her as she prepared to head out with her MP3 player. "Are we cool?"
"*Sigh* I guess a united team is a strong team." Priya admitted as they both fist bumped. Cassie was about to take her leave for breakfast before Priya spoke up again. "You knew, didn't you? That he was going."
Cassie stopped and turned around. "I tried talking him out of it but his mind was made up."
"So why did you vote for me if you knew I was staying?" Priya questionned.
"The same reason why you voted for Millie." Cassidy quickly answerred, knowing it was to get even. "I just didn't want to be in the bottom 2."
Priya took another sigh, knowing she couldn't argue with that. "Fair enough. I guess we both gotta figure a way out now."
"Now you're talking sense." Cassie agreed, figuring this was Priya's way of saying the two needed to team up.
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA
"Cassidy voted for me last night so it's not like I want to work with her but what choice do I have?" Priya said. "The other three are probably all working together so my best chance is to convince Zee to join us. And I hate having to rely on him for a vote. I mean come on, it's Zee!"
CONFESSIONAL: ZEE
"Aw sweet, this confessional comes with a free toilet!" Zee pointed out, staring down at the toilet, sitting beside it.
CONFESSIONAL: CASSIDY
"Damien made me promise to check on Priya before he left. It's weird to admit but I think I'm starting to feel bad about these people. Just feels like I'm being fake to them while knowing their dirty laundry." Cassidy admitted, starting to feel the toll of this game 2 weeks in. "I thought I'd be able to blaze through this game no problem but something about working with MK and knowing these things about people from their confessionals feels... wrong."
FROGS CABIN DAY #13.
Emma and Harvey were sitting outside whilst Bowie was beside them, applying lip balm.
"And then when I got back, Chase ate my french fries!" Emma ranted, talking about one of their streams.
"Oh yeah, I remember that one. Wasn't he doing the fifty nugget challenge?" Harvey wondered.
"That's what he told me. He said if he finished 50 nuggets in 5 minutes, he gets the whole meal for free. Only for him to fail and 'conveniently' forget his wallet so I had to pay for everything!" Emma was borderline yelling. "I got him back though by maxing out his credit card when I went shopping."
"That was one of my favorites! Shame you guys don't do streams together anymore. Not that I blame you. I guess some things just aren't meant to last." Harvey shrugged which got Emma to feel bad. She then turned to Bowie.
"Sooo... what's going on between you and Raj?" Emma asked with a giggle.
"What do you mean?" Bowie turned to her with a raised eyebrow.
"I saw you guys making those heart emoji eyes at each other last night." Emma told him.
"Okay, fine." Bowie laughed as he turned to face the two of them.
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"Telling people secrets on Total Drama Island is never a good idea, alliance or not." Bowie explained. "But what's the fun in making out with a super cute guy if you can't tell anyone?"
CONFESSIONAL: EMMA
"When love is in the air, I know it. I am very much a people person." Emma sighed, thinking back to her and Chase. "Being in love is sooo... *Sigh*, I miss it. I mean, I guess Chase wasn't always bad. We actually had some really great times together. I wonder if I'll ever have that again. With someone else, I mean."
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"I'm still having a bunch of weird feelings. I mean I really like Emma. She's nice, she's funny and her streams were amazing. And I've never felt that way before. At least, not for a while." Harvey confessed, his mind still wandering. "Maybe she hasn't said anything because she doesn't feel the same. And I don't wanna make our friendship awkward."
"I think it's great that you guys found a connection. You gonna go for it?" Harvey asked.
"I've seen this show before, I know how much relationships mess things up." Bowie brushed off. "Sometimes I can't tell if I'm watching Total Drama or marriage counseling."
"Did I tell you guys about that time Chase put ants in my bed?" Emma brought up obliviously.
"Case in point." Bowie whispered to Harvey who chuckled.
WAWANAKWA FOREST: DAY #13.
"Ugh, where was it?" Those words rang through the entire forest as Julia was searching tree after tree. Her frustration growing.
She wasn't alone as MK hung on top of one of the trees, keeping a close eye on her with her phone out.
"Okay, little Miss Sunshine. Let's lose the mask, shall we?" MK grinned as she pressed record on the phone, desperate to catch Julia in some sort of act.
CONFESSIONAL: MK
"I need to catch Julia in the act before our next elimination or else I'm totally doomed!" MK explained, worried about how tight for time she is. "So I'm just waiting for her to slip up so I can show everyone. And if she finds the statue? Even more reason to get rid of her! She'll be too confident to play the thing."
Julia kept searching, trying to remember what tree the statue was on but ended up forgetting.
"Maybe it was already found or something... ugh!" Julia groaned as she gave up searching and started to walk back.
BONEY ISLAND: DAY #14.
At the cursed Island, everyone was currently sleeping in the forest in different spots. Harvey woke up to find a bunch of beady eyed birds staring at him. His screams were loud enough to wake up the people around him.
"What the...? Where are we?" He heard another voice, turning around to find Cassidy from the other team.
"Morning campers, hope the nature of Boney Island didn't spook you too much, hehe." They all heard on a megaphone which was placed near their group's starting point.
"Of course! It's never a Total Drama season without a Boney Island challenge!" Priya figured out, who was also in the group.
"This challenge is a fun one! You've all been randomly split in to 3 groups of 4, each with members from both teams, which'll give you all some quality time to bond in what'll be quite the challenge."
GROUP #1: BOWIE, CASSIDY, HARVEY, PRIYA
GROUP #2: RAJ, WAYNE, EMMA, CHASE
GROUP #3: JULIA, MK, RIPPER, ZEE
"Either in your groups or alone, your call, you'll have to find your way around Boney Island, while trying not to get torn to shreds by the various wildlife we've had festering here for the past decade. Your goal is to make it to your team's mat at the beach. You just have to find it. But be careful. There's danger around almost every corner. There are dozens of raptors around that'll pick up your sound and smell and a few deadly birds in the air and nesting. The first team to make it with all their members or the team who makes it with the most members after 3 hours, wins immunity. And as always, the losers will be sending a bigger loser home. Good luck!" Chris instructed as he blew the airhorn to start the challenge.
GROUP #2.
Emma woke up and looked around to see who her company was, only to lock eyes with the last person she wanted to see right now.
"Sup, babe?" Chase waved to Emma who just groaned in response.
"You've gotta be kidding me. 8 other people on this island and I get stuck with him?" She ranted to whoever would listen.
"I know, aren't we both lucky?" Chase responded with an arm around her shoulder, oblivious to her rage.
GROUP #1.
"Alright so we got 2 of each team, right?" Cassidy did a headcount of the 4 of them. "Why don't we try and find the beach then we footrace there?"
"I can back that plan." Bowie nodded and the others agreed with him.
The group weren't sure which direction would lead them to the beach so they just settled on a way forward and went from there with Bowie and Cassie leading the way whilst Harvey and Priya were hanging back, keeping watch behind them.
"You big on running?" Harvey looked over towards Priya, trying to strike up conversation.
Priya nodded eagerly. "I was on top of the track team for 3 years. My parents even hired a bull to chase me so I'd get faster times."
"That's not weird at all." Harvey's eyes grew as he glanced forward.
GROUP #3.
"As if we need you losers to find our way back to the beach." Ripper boasted at the two girls. "Zee and I are fine on our own. C'mon Zee."
Zee hiccuped after finishing his can. "It was really nice to meet you guy- woah!" Zee started before Ripper dragged him away by the shoulder.
CONFESSIONAL: RIPPER
"Ending up with Zee was perfect. I need someone to ditch in case I'm attacked. If you were an ugly raptor, who would you attack first? A silent guy or Mr annoying hiccups?" Ripper asked, explaining his scheme for having him and Zee alone.
"Yeah, just cause no one's ever called me smart, doesn't mean I am... not smart." He finished, tripping over his words a bit.
"Guess it's just us then." Julia turned to MK who wasn't exactly thrilled.
"Yeah... I'm gonna go scout ahead. Way, way ahead." MK pointed forwards as she left Julia who couldn't help but be happy she was left alone.
"Wow, did I get lucky today or what?" Julia smiled as she pulled out her phone to check her socials while walking ahead.
GROUP #2.
Emma made sure to keep her distance from the others, specifically Chase as she scouted ahead whilst Wayne and Raj followed.
"Did ya hear Chris say there'd be raptors?" Wayne pointed out.
"You mean the basketball team? Why would they want us here? Do we look like balls?" Raj patted himself down whilst Wayne laughed.
"I tell ya, these challenges get more and more epic." Wayne exclaimed. "I mean was last challenge cashews, pecans and almonds or what?"
"Oh yeah! All kinds of nuts." Raj agreed with him.
"For sure. So what would you say was the craziest thing that happened to you?" Wayne asked his buddy rather abruptly.
"Uh... I guess the pudding shark." Raj answered with little to no thought.
CONFESSIONAL: RAJ
"It was the kiss, it was most definitely the kiss." Raj stated, still enjoying his moment with Bowie. "It'd be super awkward if Wayne found out before I could even tell him. I just need some more time."
CONFESSIONAL: WAYNE
"The shark? Did he make out with the shark too?" Wayne thought to himself before snapping back to reality. "No! He just doesn't want to tell me about kissing Bowie."
He then gasped to himself, realising something. "Does he think I won't be supportive? I gotta show Raj I'm with him 110%! No! 120%! Woah... I've never given 120 before..."
Chase then caught up with the hockey bros, wanting to ask them something. "Hypothetical question, how would you guys get your ex girlfriend back after cutting the hypothetical brakes on her hypothetical car?"
"Yo, that is a sich I'd never be in dude." Raj laughed off.
"Yeah dude, we love girls, we love cars, and we love brakes." Wayne continued for them, though unsure of that first part of the statement.
"Oh please! I miss her so much and..." Chase started begging for advice before they all stopped to hear rustling in the bushes. They all stopped and freaked out before a deer popped out.
"Ha! You guys looked so scared-" Chase taunted the hockey players before the deer got swiped up by a raptor and tossed away. It proceeded to lock eyes with its next group of victims. "RUN!"
They all ran off, hoping to lose the raptor before they end up like that deer.
Bowie, Priya, Cassie and Harvey were all running away after hearing one of the raptors from across the island.
"Everything will be fine! If we just stick together!" Bowie cried out.
"Agreed!" Priya nodded.
Bowie, who was behind the group ended up tripping over a rock and fell on the floor and watched as the whole group fled without him. "Great..."
Behind the bushes, Wayne and Raj drew a diagram on a floor using a stick while Emma just watched over them.
"So we're still trapped in our own end and need a controlled breakout." Raj commented.
"Treat it like it's overtime!" Wayne realised. "Go with an F2, F1, F3, T4 check system?"
"Game on! Ready to drop the puck Emma?" Raj asked Emma as she just seemed clueless as to what they were talking about.
"Huh? Oh yeah, I totally get the plan." Emma tried playing off before her ex came up behind her.
"Hey babe! These two seem like they have it down. What say we partner up and-." Chase tried suggesting before Emma cut him off.
"Never! We will never be partners! Not here! Not anywhere! Not ever again! Got it?" Emma let out, hoping to get through to him.
"Hm... It's starting to feel like you're saying we're actually over." Chase thought out loud.
"Ugh! We've been over for months!" Emma pushes him out the way to re-join with the hockey bros.
"It's cool guys, we can skate to the goal from here. We can split. You guys cover one side, we cover the other." Wayne told them.
"Wait, don't leave me with-" Emma panicked.
"One! Two! Three! Break!" Raj fist bumped Wayne as they ran off, leaving Emma and Chase by themselves.
"Don't look at this as us going out!" Emma pointed to him, allowing him to follow her since she'd rather not be alone.
CONFESSIONAL: CHASE
"This is perfect! Alone time with Emma is just what I need. Check this out." Chase reached in to his pocket and pulled out a candy bar. "Whenever we get in to a fight or if I need to talk her in to doing something, I bribe her with a candy bar. It's like feeding a dog. I'll win her back in no time."
Ripper and Zee were hiding behind a rock, finding a giant bird in their way.
"Look at that sleeping nerd bird. If we wake that thing up, we're dead meat." Ripper observed, not finding any way forward.
Zee, before speaking up, hiccupped again, waking the bird up and causing it to look around. "Aw, bummer dude. I woke up the bird."
Ripper then grabbed Zee and pulled him back behind the rock.
CONFESSIONAL: RIPPER
"Crud! He couldn't have waited until after we got past to hiccup?" Ripper groaned, slapping his head.
Zee kept hiccuping whilst Ripper was covering his mouth. "Stay quiet..."
The bird walking around, responding to Zee with hiccups of its own.
"Hmm... that bird is picking up what you are laying down. Okay new plan." Ripper thought to himself.
As Julia was by herself, she saw this as the perfect opportunity to call back her boyfriend.
"Okay babe, you really need to chill. How was I supposed to know the show was happening during our 2 year anniversary?" Julia sounded irritated at the mumbles that came through her phone in response. "Ew? The Steak Farm? What are you? 12? No one would've recognised me there. Do you even know my fans? You know we need to head to Golden Spoons."
She was so absorbed in her phone call that she didn't notice MK had disappeared up one of the trees to spy on her.
"Sheesh, is this what a new age soap opera is like? Cancel my ticket." MK held the phone up, hoping to catch something worthwhile in this conversation. "Isn't Golden Spoons like $100 just for a seat?"
"Well you better have cleaned my room already. I am not going down as the influencer who had lice for skin!" Julia continued her tyrrant. "Seriously? What have those kittens ever done for you anyway? I'm the one getting you exposure here!"
"Yeah... this is gonna take a while." MK glanced up at the camera filming her as she mentally prepared for a long day.
Meanwhile both the hockey bros stopped running while they were ahead, hoping to catch their breath.
"I'm getting tired of running." Wayne gasped, breathing heavily.
"Hey! I just thought of something." Raj thought which prompted Wayne to shoot up.
"You can tell me anything! Thoughts about your feelings or who you are." Wayne let him know. "I'm ready to hear you without judgement."
CONFESSIONAL: WAYNE
"This is it! Raj is gonna tell me he's gay! Or Bi? He's telling me something!" Wayne said acting all giddy.
"You got any hockey tape?" Raj asked him, completely unaware of what he was hinting at.
CONFESSIONAL: WAYNE
"Nope, that's not it." Wayne concluded with a sigh.
"Only 5 rolls!" Wayne pulled out 5 rolls of the tape from somewhere.
"Wicked! I got a plan!" Raj took the tape and the two of them ran off.
They proceeded to wrap tape around two stumps with a space in the middle, leaving tape to hold them together, enough to trip someone up.
CONFESSIONAL: WAYNE AND RAJ
"We pulled this trick on our teammate Keith Campbell during a tourney up North." Raj explained. "It was hilarious!"
"So hilarious! Not to Keith though." Wayne pointed out awkwardly.
"Nah, he seemed super mad when we saw him at the hospital. Sorry Keith." Raj told him in case he was watching.
The raptor was then sniffing their trails until the bros hooted, drawing its attention.
"Hey dragon! Over here!" Wayne taunted from behind a bush.
Letting out a roar, it rushed forward, tripping on the tape which sent it flying towards a tree.
"Penalty!" Raj pointed at it.
"Two minutes for tripping!" Wayne added. This would be short lived though as it woke up with fire in its eyes.
"Uh oh. Let's bolt! Quick!" Raj said nervously as they ran off.
Priya, Cassie and Harvey kept walking ahead. With Priya a few seconds ahead of the other two. Cassidy noticed Harvey looking around cautiously. "You doing okay? You've been awful quiet since we stopped running."
"Huh?" Harvey snapped out of his thoughts. "Oh yeah, I just don't like being out in a forest by myself, much less this one. I have to take a lot of creepy alleyways to work just to make it in time."
"I used to be the same, the silence would always get to me." Cassie nodded in agreement. "That's why I take my MP3 player around wherever I go."
"You seem pretty attached to that thing, huh?" Harvey pointed out, trying to find a way to ask why.
"Yeah, I've always loved music. Made some of my own when I'm not streaming." She explained.
"That is so cool! Surprised you managed to keep that this whole time." Harvey laughed. "I thought Chris woulda had that confiscated like with Julia's phones."
"The doctors said it'd be best if I kept it on me. Had a couple nightmares whenever I tried going to sleep." Cassidy opened up. "I even started doing sleep karate. Let's just say I'm not great when left with nothing but my own thoughts. That's why I have music to distract me."
"Wow, how long's that been going on?" Harvey asked, seeming concerned.
"About 6 months. That's why I wanted to be on the show, so I could make good memories and... make the nightmares stop." Cassie said awkwardly. "I'm not creeping you out or anything, am I?"
"Not at all! We all have issues." Harvey then thought to himself and had an idea. "Mind if I give it a try? Maybe it could calm my nerves about being around here."
"Sure, I'll let you listen to a couple of my tracks." Cassie took out her player and earphones and handed them to Harvey.
As soon as he put them in his ear, he listened to a mix of dubstep and electric tunes. The next thing he knew he was at a rollercoaster ride, having the time of his life. He was driving along the motorway with ease and feeling free. Lastly he and Emma were at a fireworks display and the two were about to kiss.
"Harvey? Hello? You there?" Cassie tried waving her hand in front of his face to break him out of his trance.
"Oh no, is he broken?" Priya looked back and started to panic.
The roars then woke Harvey up as he looked around, worried that the raptors were behind him. "Wha- Who- Wha- Huh?"
"Nope, he's fixed. C'mon. Let's get going." Cassie took back her player as the trio continued on.
Ripper then finished up disguising Zee as a bird with leaves and bushes for the body and a coconut for the beak.
"This is a great plan! I dance for her while you make it to the other side and signal me when it's safe to cross." Zee said, doing a little dance, amazed yet clueless about the true intentions of this plan.
"Well it sure as heck won't work if you dance like that! You gotta move like you mean it!" Ripper told him. "I picked up a lot of chicks for having the best dance moves. Put that bird under a love spell. Now go!"
The bird was back to sleeping in its nest while Zee went up and hiccuped, waking it up. He then proceeded to dance by flapping his wings and moving up and down. So far it was working as the bird got up and approached him.
"You got her interest, buddy! Now let's crank up the heat! Loosen those neck bones!" Ripper told him from behind the rock. "Pour some sugar behind them hip swings! Don't forget the tail!"
The bird was then star struck by Zee's dancing and rushed towards him, flapping her wings and her tail rhythmically. "I don't know about this anymore, man."
"If you stop dancing, that bird will rip you to pieces!" Ripper threatened him. "Now shake them tail feathers!"
"I'm not looking for *hiccup* anything serious. Let's take it slow." Zee tried reasoning but the bird was already too much in a trance to care. It then snuggled up to Zee. "Dude! It's working! It's working! Ripper?"
Ripper was now on the other side, ready to make a run for it. "It sure is! Good luck bird brain!"
"You're a very bad human!" Zee cried out as the bird started kissing him on the forehead.
Ripper kept stepping back, laughing to himself before he accidentally kicked the egg the bird was nesting with the back of his foot. He turned around and noticed it starting to hatch. After the baby was born, it looked at Ripper. "Mama!"
The bird then broke out of it trance and glared at Ripper. Zee then hiccupped and his disguise fell apart. The bird's face fell when she realized the set up.
"Uh... maybe we could work things out?" Zee wondered. The bird then let out a roar as Ripper and Zee both fled out of the forest.
CONFESSIONAL: RIPPER
"Ugh! My dad was right! Babies ruin everything!" Ripper ranted, annoyed he couldn't have snuck away. "No wonder he used to drop me and my 3 brothers all the time. Like that matters anyway! Two of us are fine!"
Chris then checked his phone, seeming bored at how long it was taking these people to arrive. He then glanced up and saw Ripper and Zee run past the finish line with the bird still chasing them. "And Ripper and Zee are the first to arrive for the Trout! 2 hours left in this challenge and only 2 of you are here! That's pathetic."
"Were you really gonna leave me behind?" Zee asked Ripper after catching his breath.
"You can't hate a guy for looking out for himself, that's the Ripper family code." Ripper answered with his arms folded.
"That's not a good code, man." Zee shook his head in disapproval. "That poor bird! She thought we had something special!"
"If you're that hung up over a bird then..." Ripper started before spotting the bird on the beach, looking around for the two. "Quick! Hide!"
Ripper and Zee ran off the mat and hid behind a rockwall.
"Hey! Thanks for the heads up!" Zee turned to Ripper, surprised he warned him.
"Oh please, if anyone's gonna beat you in this game, it's gonna be me, not some dumb bird." Ripper excused.
"Well, that was still pretty cool." Zee pointed out which had Ripper roll his eyes but was happy to accept the praise.
Wayne and Raj kept running off, hoping to buy some time between themselves and the raptors chasing them.
"Hey, you know what I like about our friendship the most, Raj?" Wayne brought up as they were sprinting.
"That we can have fun all the time?" Raj answered as the two stopped to catch their breath.
"No." Wayne responded, the smile fading from his face.
"Oh. Um, oh! That we're the same size and can share each other's jockstraps?" Raj guessed, unaware of Wayne's expression.
"No. It's that we share big secrets with each other. Like when I told you I ate a burger I found in the trash after hockey practice." Wayne reminded him.
"Heh! On hot days in the back seat of my Mom's car, it still smells like barf." Raj remembered fondly.
"And even though I was scared to tell you what with all the car vomit, I did. So..." Wayne put his hand on his friend's shoulder. "Is there anything you want to tell me?"
"There sure is." Raj nodded. "But maybe we should avoid being raptor bait first."
"Huh? Oh yeah, for sure." Wayne frantically agreed as they heard more roaring coming from the distance.
CONFESSIONAL: WAYNE
"*Sigh, Maybe I should just let it go. So what if he doesn't tell me? Getting to be here with my buddy has been awesome." Wayne said, deciding to give up on pushing Raj to telling him. "As long as he knows I have his back no matter what, I'll be as cool as a carrot."
Priya, Cassie and Harvey were still walking, thankfully not getting tracked down by any raptors or birds yet.
"You're really good at this! Like you've been to too many concerts!" Harvey told Cassie who let out an awkward laugh and nodded in confirmation.
"It's what got me in to being a DJ. When I turned 12, my Mom got me my first ever mix tape." Cassie explained. "The money I got from streaming got me my first ever MP3 player."
"Your first? How many did you lose?" Harvey wondered.
"About half a dozen. Not my fault they're so small." Cassie defended herself. "So, I hear you have a bit of a crush on one of the Frogs, huh?" Cassidy teased Harvey who just laughed nervously.
"You and everyone else, yeah." Harvey rolled his eyes.
"You don't have to say if you don't want to." Cassidy reassured him, not that bothered about him staying quiet.
"Nah, I need to get this off my chest." Harvey confessed. He noticed Priya was out of earshot but kept his voice down. "I like Emma, okay?"
"Aw, really?" Cassidy asked, seeming surprised at this. "I haven't talked to her much but she seems awesome. What's holding you back?"
"I just don't know if she's gotten over Chase yet. He just seems to be all she talks about." Harvey explained the situation. "And I don't want to get inbetween something that's none of my business."
"You really think those two would get back together?" Cassie wondered.
"I've seen other Total Drama couples with way more hate going on and they somehow make it work." Harvey brought up. "And anyway, I'm done trying to deal with relationship drama. My best friend in high school, she was the first person I ever had feelings for. But she never got over her ex and they got back together. Haven't spoken to her since I had to drop out for work."
"Do you really think Emma's like that? Sure you could tell her how you feel and the worst she'll say is no. But you may never get the chance again!" Cassie advised. "And even then, I'm sure you two will stay good friends, and that's not a bad thing to get out of a show like this."
"Huh, you actually have a point." Harvey seemed surprised. "Thanks for hearing me out."
"No problem!" Cassie held a thumbs up, feeling a lot of mixed feelings now that she's finally getting to know people.
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"Cassie's right! I've had a lot of fun with Emma these last couple weeks and I don't want any of that to go to waste! First chance I get, I'm telling her how I feel." Harvey decided, feeling a sudden rush of motivation and confidence.
CONFESSIONAL: CASSIDY
"Ugh, I already knew about Harvey's crush on Emma, just like I did with Raj's crush on Bowie, Millie's essay, Priya's insecurities and other secrets people have!" Cassidy listed as she felt immense guilt about lying to these people and their personal intel. "I should tell MK that I'm done with this alliance. I'm not about to use people's private info against them just to get ahead."
Emma and Chase were walking around, seemingly forever as Emma grew more and more frustrated. "Ugh! Another dead end! You planned this, didn't you?"
"Me? What? No... uh.. how?" Chase tried playing off, not wanting to give away that he was leading Emma in circles so he could have more time with her.
"Ugh, later." Emma started walking off.
"Wait, we've gotta stick together or we have no shot making it out and to the beach." Chase pointed out.
"Alright, fine! But if we get found, I'm ditching you." Emma sighed as the two of them continued on together.
CONFESSIONAL: CHASE
"Operation get Emma back is on!" Chase pointed to the camera.
After hanging up on her boyfriend, Julia was busy walking along, enjoying the peace and quiet of not having to put up with anyone else. "*Sigh* This is my kind of challenge."
She kept going until she stepped on a loud branch, it's noise echoing across the forest. "Oh crud!"
Julia then heard growling behind her and came face to face with one of the raptors. It let out a massive roar, blowing her hair everywhere.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
Julia was busy filing her nails, getting fed up with everything. "No, not today."
"Mouthwash!" She yelled, causing the raptor to shut up, catching it off guard. "Ever heard of it? For real, they should change your name to Halitosisaurus. Your breath reeks of caveman, girl. And get some whitening strips and liners for your teeth already."
The raptor kept frantically checking it's teeth, shocked at how messy they are.
"Your grill looks like a fence made of mud. And don't even get me started on your dry scaly skin because I will barf in my own mouth." Julia continued as it was now the raptor that was scared of her. "And that's not all! You have bags under your eyes, you have puny little chicken wing arms, and your toenails? Big yikes."
The raptor then started getting teary eyed but Julia wasn't holding back. "It's actually no wonder you went extinct, because no one would ever get with that, you freak!" And after she finished, it fled the scene crying, not being able to take anymore insults.
"Man that felt good." Julia sighed, feeling relieved to get to express herself. What she didn't know was Bowie hiding behind the bush overhearing everything.
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"Ooh, Julia just read that raptor." Bowie clapped, seeming impressed but also surprised.
Julia continued walking until Bowie popped up from the bushes to confront her, making her jump.
"Wow, you were rough on that dinosaur." Bowie told her to which she felt initially embarrassed but easily let it go.
"What? You saw that?" She pointed back at the scene.
"Mhm, no true colors quite match vicious and brutal." Bowie nodded as he laughed to himself.
"If you tell anyone..." Julia pointed to him.
"Don't worry, your secret's safe!" Bowie tried playing it off as no big deal. "Just never disect me like that. I'm an ugly crier."
"Deal, now let's go! I think I can see the beach from here." Julia ran off before anyone else saw her as Bowie closely followed behind.
Hidden up in the tree was MK who recorded the whole thing from the phone she got and watched it back with a smile.
CONFESSIONAL: MK
"If these people don't believe what I said about Julia, this'll for sure get em to now." MK then managed to log in to Julia's account.
"Let's upload the lowdown Julia to her My SelfieGram account and see what all her followers think. #TheRealJulia. I hope that raptor's okay." She admitted, actually feeling bad for it.
MK then caught up with the two of them as they continued running. "Oh hey guys! Glad I found you." She tried playing off like she hadn't been following them this whole time.
"This is perfect! We have 3 members of our team, we have a great shot of winning if we all make it." Bowie smiled before the raptor that was chasing him got a hold of his shirt. Julia screamed and kept running whilst MK stood there and watched.
"Um, help? Please?" Bowie frantically asked her, not wanting to get involved in a tug of war as he was getting tossed around like a ragdoll.
"Nah, this is actually kinda fun." MK admitted and watched in amusement as Bowie kept trying to get out of the raptor's grasp.
"I said... Let go!" Bowie yelled as he kicked the raptor inbetween the legs as it let go and fell over.
"See? You were fine." MK laughed as Bowie ran past her, annoyed. "Wow, no love lost there then."
"What were you guys talking about earlier?" Priya slowed down, allowing the other two to catch up as her curiousity was on high alert.
"Just life stuff, and the fun of music." Cassidy explained to her, leaving out Harvey's crush on Emma.
"Oh, okay." Priya nodded, feeling a little left out but noticed a scratch on Harvey's arm. "What happened to your arm?"
"Huh? Oh this?" Harvey was surprised to discover the cut on his arm, unsure of where it came from. "Might be work related... not sure."
"No, this one looks fresh. At most around 48 hours. Could be from the catapult, or that tree." Priya observed as she analysed the cut deeper.
"That tree did leave me all kinds of beat up." Harvey confirmed. "It's fine, it's nothing. Really."
"Are you kidding me? A cut like that could have gotten infected if you left it any longer!" Priya spoke up, almost scolding him. "Hold still..."
"Wow, someone knows their stuff." Cassdy watched in amusement as Priya pulled out a plaster to apply to Harvey's arm.
"Leave this on for 24 hours and keep it away from water. Got it?" Priya asked as Harvey pressed down on the plaster to hold it in place.
"Uh, thanks?" Harvey scratched his head in confusion which made Priya feel a little embarassed now.
"Sorry, I got excited. I'm trying to go to med school so I've been studying during my free time." Priya rubbed her arm awkwardly.
"No biggie! I always respect someone who has a dream." Harvey let her know. "I'm used to getting all scratched up anyway. Doesn't make it hurt less."
"How'd you decide you wanted to go to med school anyway?" Cassie piped up as the three continued walking, now reaching the beach.
"When my parents had me watch other seasons for research as a kid, I felt bad at how much everyone got hurt." Priya told the two. "Then when I got hurt in training, I had fun figuring out how to take care of myself."
"So Total Drama helped you find your dream and your parents finding their dream for you?" Cassidy wondered, finding the irony in that.
"I guess. It'd just be nice if they let me make my own decisions." Priya admitted, starting to feel bad until she spotted the team mats from a distance. "The finish line! Come on!"
Harvey and Cassie met her gaze as they followed her, caught off guard by her sudden shift.
"Bowie, Julia, MK, you're the first to arrive for the Frogs!" Chris counted as the trio all cheered. "And here comes Priya, Cassie and Harvey! Both teams have 4 members each!"
The three mentioned were all exhausted from the alternating running and walking but were glad to make it back.
"Ugh, great. If Chase makes it back, we're toast!" MK groaned, not liking their odds.
"Oh please, as if Chase could find his way out of a bathroom." Bowie rolled his eyes, having confidence that the rest of the Frogs will make it before Chase.
"Just 1 hour left!" Chris updated. "This is getting good."
Emma and Chase kept walking until they came across a cave.
"I wonder if that cave's a shortcut to the beach." Emma thought before turning back to her ex. "I'm gonna check it out. You stay here and give me a signal if the raptors come back."
"I don't know... is that the smartest thing to do?" Chase asked, not wanting the two to get seperated again.
"Ugh, just do it!" Emma rolled her eyes and started to ran off before Chase stalled her again.
"Maybe we should come up with a signal!" Chase suggested. "Maybe a frog sound? *Ribbit* Ribbit* Or, I do a pretty good monkey! *Eee* *Eee* *Eee*"
They both heard a roar coming from somewhere.
"Hey, that's pretty good! Maybe you should be on lookout!" Chase complimented her before she turned him around to face the raptor standing behind both of them. It ran and pushed Chase in to a tree, dropping the candy bar on the floor in between the raptor and Emma.
The raptor then stepped forward, crushing the candy bar between it's feet as Emma started screaming. "Someone help me!"
CONFESSIONAL: CHASE
"Nuh uh, no one gets between a man and his candy bar." Chase felt angry that the raptor ruined it.
Emma closed her eyes and braced herself, sitting against the wall until Chase came in and knocked out the raptor by hitting it with a large branch. "Yeah! That's what you get!"
Emma sighed in relief and got up, looking away from Chase, feeling like it was about to be her last day on earth. Chase then picked up the candy bar from the ground and sighed.
"I'm sorry." He said, knowing this wasn't any good to give to Emma now. Emma's eyes widened as she turned around.
"Y-you mean it?" Emma seemed speechless. "Thank you, thank you for finally saying it."
CONFESSIONAL: EMMA
"I never thought Chase would apologize for cutting my brakes." Emma still couldn't believe it. "And, it really seemed like he meant it. That must've been hard for him. I guess I took it too seriously anyway. I ruined something good."
"I miss having you as my girlfriend." Chase continued as Emma walked closer to him. "And if there's any chance you..."
Emma cut him off by bringing him in to a kiss which lasted for a few seconds.
"W-wow, Em... that was great!" Chase said excitedly as Emma spotted a way to to the beach through the cave.
"Wait, we don't have much time! We need to run!" Emma pointed out as her and Chase tried making their escape to the beach.
CONFESSIONAL: CHASE
"I got my girlfriend back! Wicked!" Chase cheered as he held up both trodden on parts of the candy bar which had a noticeable amount of dirt and grass on it.
"This is still edible, right?" He ate both pieces at once only to spit them out immediately.
"And here comes our next pair. And with 5 minutes left, it's looking like another loss for the Trout!" Chris announced as Wayne and Raj were the second to last people to arrive at the beach as they were running back, hoping to reach the finish line in time.
"Time to score the winning goal!" Wayne cheered. "Turbo boost!"
"Oh man, we might be done for!" Priya started panicking.
Ripper then grew worried, not wanting to go back to elimination again. He then remembered something from a few challenges ago and had an idea.
FLASHBACK.
"Who went streaking for their end of year summer party?" Chris asked.
"Pfft hahaha! That was wicked!" Wayne said while pressing his button. "We just finished our games for the season and finished with some Truth or Dare."
"And Wayne never turns down a dare." Raj added while the bros laughed and fist bumped.
"Hey Wayne!" Ripper called out. "I dare you to kick that bird!"
Wayne then skidded to a halt as he looked at the bird that was currently sniffing around bushes, looking for Ripper and Zee.
"Wayne, don't!" Harvey tried telling him as time started running out.
"Double dare!" Ripper pressured him to which Wayne smirked.
"Wayne, the finish line's over there!" Raj pointed out.
"I'll be just a sec, Raji!" Wayne reassured him as he ran towards that bird.
CONFESSIONAL: WAYNE
"There's a lesson I've learned again and again, if something sounds like a bad idea, looks like a bad idea, and requires a dare to do it? It's gonna be awesome!" Wayne cheered as he was looking forward to this.
The bird was busy sniffing around the bushes until it felt a strong kick on her behind and turned around red eyed to face Wayne.
"Huh? So that actually was a bad idea." Wayne observed before the bird began chasing him to a dead end.
"Wayne!" Raj chased after his friend. "I'm coming to save you buddy!"
The bird was ready to charge in to Wayne until Raj blocked her and they started pushing back and forth.
"Hey, lay off my friend, bird brain!" Wayne got up. The two then got in to a fist fight with the bird only to lose easily and get tossed aside.
"Wayne! There's something I need to tell you!" Raj yelled as the two started running away again.
"I'm listening! Go ahead!" Wayne let him know as Raj took a deep breath.
"I... I kissed Bowie! I'm gay!" Raj stopped to confess.
"Aw, buddy!" Wayne then hugged his pal before the two get headbutted by the bird, causing them to fly in to a tree. They both felt the daze of the attack but Wayne hung his arm around his friend's shoulder. "Thanks for telling me."
"You're my best friend! Of course I would." The two remained in a daze before collapsing to the floor.
Chase and Emma came out the forest and made it across the finish line just in time.
"And with 10 seconds left! All the Ferocious Trout have made it meaning they've won the challenge!" Chris announced as the group of five all cheered, looking forward to the night off from elimination.
"And a close second place loser finish for the Frogs." Chris watched as Wayne and Raj walked over with their heads down.
"Sorry team." Wayne apologized as the rest of them seem annoyed at the two of them for stalling.
"Dang, Emma. Why didn't you ditch him?" MK wondered.
"Emma, I have something to tell you." Harvey stepped forward, taking a deep breath before getting cut off.
"It's fine. I'll take my chances at the elimination ceremony." Emma bragged before holding hands with Chase. "We're just lucky to be alive."
"Yup, I feel very lucky right now." Chase agreed as he held a thumbs up to everyone. Needless to say, some were more shocked than others.
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"Here's my life rule. After you scrape poop off the bottom of your sneaker, don't go back and step in the same poop." Bowie advised, clearly confused as to how and why Emma and Chase got back together.
"Everyone go ahead and take these canoes back to camp. Frogs of Death, looked like you guys had it for a while. But an embarassing loss is still an embarassing loss. You guys have a date with elimination where one of you is donezo." Chris told the group as the Frogs felt the dread of elimination fall on them again.
MESS HALL: NIGHT #14.
Everyone canoed their way back to camp. The Frogs were getting their last meal in before their elimination. Raj then stood up to get everyone's attention.
"Hey guys, quick meeting." Raj told the group who all seemed confused. "I know Wayner and I lost us the game, and if there's anyone to blame, it's me."
"Aw, don't say that buddy." Wayne tried telling him.
"It's okay. Being here with you has been some of the most fun ever! I can't imagine anyone else I'd rather get beaten up by a bird with." Raj comforted him. "Wayne is a way better competitor, he deserves to lead you guys to victory."
"I mean... if you say so?" Harvey agreed hesitantly.
"Meh, cool with me." Julia shrugged, leaving the Mess Hall.
CONFESSIONAL: RAJ
"It was Wayne's idea for us to try out for this show, and even if I won't win a million dollars, I got to show the world what Raj is all about!" Raj said, all pumped up. "I'll deal with whatever happens at Northern Alberta later, for now, I just can't wait to get back to dominating the ice rink!"
Harvey headed back to the cabin where Emma was waiting for him.
"So what was it you wanted to tell me?" Emma asked him to which he sighed.
"Oh... um... just that I was glad you made it out okay." Harvey lied, trying to keep a straight face.
"Aw, thanks. You're a great friend." Emma put her hand on his shoulder caringly before heading back inside the cabin. "Good luck with elimination!"
"Thanks! You too!" Harvey called out before feeling his face fall again.
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"Well, I guess it just wasn't meant to be with Emma and I." Harvey admitted, trying to make himself feel better. "Still, the friend zone is better than no zone. If that makes sense."
CAMPFIRE CEREMONY 7: NIGHT #14.
For the first time in a week, the Frogs took the dreaded walk of shame to the campfire ceremony. Everyone glanced at each other nervously, not sure where this vote was going to go. They all took their seats as the Frogs of Death logo was on full display.
"Welcome back, Frogs of Death. Seemed like I'd never get to see you guys again. But fate, along with the creepy crawlies of Boney Island have ended your winning streak." Chris taunted the group before Chef took over.
"Emma. You and Chase seem really happy together. Not a lotta people care for that." Chef stated while Emma rolled her eyes. Harvey meanwhile could only look down.
"MK. Instead of helping your teammates out, you were more concerned with saving your own skin. Not what a good team player does." He remarked while Bowie looked at her with his ice pack still on.
CONFESSIONAL: MK.
"How could I have helped him? This game is Survival of the smartest for a reason." MK claimed. "Touchy..."
"And lastly, Wayne and Raj." Chef called up who both gulped. "You guys were close to winning it for your team but got fooled by Ripper of all people."
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"Nothing personal, hockey bros. Just trying to survive here." Julia said uninterested as she was on her phone texting.
"I have 6 marshmallows on this plate." Chris said as he held up the plate. "You get a marshmallow, you're safe. If you don't get a marshmallow. It's drone city, population soon to be seven. The following players are safe."
"Harvey."
"Julia."
"Emma."
"And Bowie."
The group of 4 were all shown relieved while the remaining three were still on edge. Wayne and Raj both looked at each other, worried while MK had her eyes closed and her fingers crossed. "The second to last marshmallow goes to..."

"Score!" MK cheered as she threw the marshmallow in the air to catch in her mouth.
"Sorry boys. Looks like it's game over for one of you." Chris announced.
"This is bogus!" Raj ranted.
"Yeah man. There's no way I'm carrying on playing without my buddy Raj." Wayne said to everyone.
"Well I wouldn't worry about that Wayne, you know why? Because you've been voted off!" Chris revealed as he threw the final marshmallow to Raj.
"What?" Raj said in disbelief as most of the group gasped.
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE.
"I made a judgement call. After watching MK and Julia fight for that immunity statue, they are so gonna try and get each other booted." Bowie confessed his plan. "Wayne was the only other option. With him gone, I can keep my alliance with Harvey and Emma and spend more time with Raj."
"I love you man." Wayne stood up as he held out his arms for his buddy.
"I love you too, dude." Raj responded as the two hugged it out one more time before Wayne left.
"Play hard team! And remember, a Snow Owl never quits!" Wayne held up his fist as he took his leave.
"I guess the Captain does go down with the ship." Wayne sighed as he continued down the dock. "But I'm super proud of myself and my buddy Raj. Sure I didn't walk home with the trophy this season but if anyone can do it, Raj can."
The drone grabbed the back of his hoodie as he started doing poses. "Check it out! I'm flying!"
"Well that sure was a big loss." Chris sarcastically commented. "How will the Frogs fare now that their winning streak is over and their supposed Team Captain isn't around? How will Julia react to her video getting posted online? What does Harvey think about Emma and Chase getting back together? And could MK and Cassidy's secret alliance finally be over? Find out all this and more, same Drama Time, same Drama Channel, on Total Drama Island!"

Pretty weird challenge but one that allowed for plenty of interaction! Wayne was a pretty easy out here. And like I said last week, I even debated switching his and Damien's placements as well as the challenges just so Damien would make it one more episode, but I think pacing wise, this just works better. This was one of the few things I think we were screwed out of with 13 episodes was more time with Bowie and Raj just to get to see their relationship grow only for Raj to all of a sudden get sent to a hospital. And with this episode being the biggest shift with a lot of characters, it'll make for some fun writing for the next couple episodes as we near closer to the merge.
Next week I'm bringing back an og Total Drama challenge from the first season which will hopefully end this first half on a high and give the teams enough downtime to figure out whatever drama they have going on between them. Definitely looking forward to this one.
Hope you guys enjoyed. I'm definitely surprised to see how well this story's doing so far and I've had my fair share of fun going through each episode, editing them and releasing them week by week. Definitely looking forward to how it's gonna look when it's all done.
