What if while out of the house for the first time, Adrien discovered the Sakura cards and accidently scattered them. Now it's his job to capture them as Card Catty while there's Akuma's a foot, while master fu chosen someone else for the cat ring.

9. Ch 9: The Pharaoh, Sword

Ch. 9: The Pharaoh/Sword

Adrien was at home when he got an alert that an Akuma was on the scene and he transformed and went to it as fast as possible, only when he got there. Ladybug attacked him and Catling with a sword, while The Pharaoh got away with Alya.

Catling used Cataclysm on the sword, allowing Card Catty to capture the card that was infecting her. They (Card Catty, Ladybug and Catling) then went after The Pharaoh with Ladybug calling for a Lucky Charm.

While Catling went to recharge, the Lucky Charm produced a life-sized mummy doll and Card Catty flew above the gathering magic clouds/storm(?) and threw the doll towards the ground and The Pharaoh flew towards it thinking it was The Pharaoh's dead wife.

And while he inspected it, Catling used Cataclysm on the necklace holding the jewel and kicked the jewel towards Ladybug who smashed it.
