It's been a while

It was a nice day as the super hero girls were on their road trip they were bored and hungry

Kara noticed a ad for a ice cream eating contest

Kara's eyes lit up as she pointed out the billboard to the others. "An ice cream eating contest! Just off this exit!" she exclaimed, practically bouncing in her seat.

"Do you really think this is a good idea?" Barbara asked, raising an eyebrow. "We're supposed to be under the radar, not turning heads with brain freezes."

"Relax, Babs. It's just ice cream. What's the worst that could happen?" Kara grinned mischievously, already pulling up the directions on her phone.

Jessica sighed from the back seat. "I mean, it does sound kinda fun… and we are hungry."

Within minutes, they found themselves pulling into the crowded parking lot of "Scoopzilla's Ice Cream Emporium." Banners waved in the breeze, declaring the annual "Brain Freeze Battle" had begun. The aroma of waffle cones and sugar filled the air, and a crowd was gathered around a stage where the contest was already heating up.

"I'll crush this," Kara said, cracking her knuckles. "No one can out-eat Supergirl."

"Uh-huh," Barbara said dryly. "Just don't forget you're also an alien who might not handle earth ice cream the same way."

Kara ignored her as they signed up for the next round.

The girls stood near the sign-up booth as the contestants lined up for the next round. Suddenly, a shadow loomed over them. They turned to see a towering, burly man with a thick beard, wearing a shirt that read "Scoopzilla Champion – 3 Years Running." He crossed his arms and smirked confidently.

"Oh, this'll be fun," Kara said, her eyes narrowing as she looked him up and down. "You're going down, big guy."

The man let out a hearty laugh. "You've got guts, kid, but this contest isn't for the faint of heart. I hope you like brain freezes."

"Oh, I don't get brain freezes," Kara said with a grin. "I'm built different."

Barbara facepalmed. "Kara, stop trash-talking. You're supposed to blend in, remember?"

"I am blending in!" Kara said, waving a hand dismissively. "Everyone loves a little friendly competition."

"Friendly, huh?" the man said, raising an eyebrow. "We'll see about that. Name's Hank, by the way. You might as well know who's about to school you."

Kara leaned on the counter with a smirk. "Nice to meet you, Hank. Name's Kara. You might as well remember who's about to dethrone you."

The announcer's voice boomed over the speakers. "Contestants for the next round, please take your seats! It's time to face the ultimate ice cream showdown!"

Kara walked toward the stage confidently, grabbing a seat next to Hank. Barbara and Jessica stayed near the crowd, watching nervously.

"This could get messy," Barbara muttered.

"Oh, it's definitely going to get messy," Jessica replied, holding up her phone. "And I'm recording every second of it."

The bell rang, and the challenge was on. Bowls of ice cream were placed in front of them, and Kara immediately grabbed a spoon, attacking the mountain of scoops with reckless abandon.

Hank grinned as he matched her pace. "Not bad, but let's see if you can keep that up, kid."

The crowd cheered as the tension built. Would Kara's super stomach keep up with the mountain of ice cream—or would she meet her match in the reigning champ?

Meanwhile, back at the RV, Zatanna—or Zee, as the others called her—was stretched out on the couch, feet propped up on the table, completely unbothered by the chaos unfolding outside. She sipped her soda lazily, flipping through a magazine she had found wedged in one of the cabinets.

"An ice cream contest? Seriously?" she muttered to herself, rolling her eyes. "Who needs a sugar-induced coma when you've got air conditioning and a cold drink right here?" She took another sip and smirked.

From her vantage point, Zee could hear the muffled cheers of the crowd in the distance, but she didn't care enough to peek outside. "Kara's probably showing off again," she mused. "Barbara's panicking, and Jessica's recording it all for posterity. Typical."

As she reached for a bag of chips, the RV door creaked open slightly, letting in a gust of warm air. Zee waved a hand dismissively, muttering a quick spell under her breath. The door slammed shut again, sealing her in her little bubble of peace and quiet.

"Honestly," she said to herself, "what's the point of a road trip if everyone's going to act like kids at a carnival? Someone has to maintain their dignity." She smiled smugly and turned back to her soda, savoring her solitude.

Little did Zee know, the contest outside was about to take an unexpected turn, one that might just drag her out of her comfy little hideaway.

Meanwhile

As Kara and Hank devoured their bowls of ice cream at lightning speed, the crowd roared with excitement. Kara was keeping pace with Hank, her spoon a blur as she plowed through the mountain of scoops in front of her.

"Not bad, kid," Hank said between bites. "But you're slowing down!"

"Slowing down?" Kara shot back, smirking as she reached for the next bowl. "I'm just getting started!"

Meanwhile, Karen—sitting near the edge of the crowd with her arms crossed—was watching the contest unfold with mild interest. Unlike the others, she wasn't as invested in the whole ice cream showdown. She took a casual sip from her water bottle when something suspicious caught her eye.

Near the back of the crowd, a group of shady-looking men was moving around. At first, Karen thought they were just spectators, but their behavior was off. One of them nudged the other, pointing toward the contest stage, while another slipped behind the counter of Scoopzilla's. Karen squinted, noticing the faint gleam of a crowbar tucked under one man's jacket.

Her eyes widened as she saw them loading something shiny and heavy-looking into a duffel bag. "Wait… are they stealing the prize money?" she muttered under her breath.

Karen quickly tapped Jessica on the shoulder, who was still filming the contest. "Uh, Jess? We've got a problem."

Jessica frowned, lowering her phone. "What kind of problem?"

Karen motioned toward the men, keeping her voice low. "The criminal kind. I think those guys are trying to rob the place."

Jessica followed Karen's gaze and gasped. "Oh no. That's definitely not good." She looked back at the stage, where Kara was still locked in her ice cream showdown, completely oblivious.

"What do we do?" Karen asked, already tensing up.

Jessica took a deep breath. "Okay, you stay here and keep an eye on them. I'll go get Barbara. She's the one with the plans."

Karen rolled her eyes. "Great. While you're busy planning, those guys are going to get away."

Jessica hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Fine. Let's handle this together. But quietly. We don't want to blow Kara's cover."

As the two girls moved cautiously toward the back of the crowd, the shady men were finishing up their haul. The clock was ticking, and the girls had to think fast if they wanted to stop the robbery without turning the contest into total chaos.

Jessica and Karen sprinted toward the RV, where Barbara, Diana, and Megan were hanging out, distracted by Zee's sarcastic commentary on the contest. Jessica burst through the door, panting. "Guys, we've got trouble—big trouble. There are robbers stealing from the contest!"

Barbara stood up immediately. "What? Where?"

"Over by the back of the crowd," Karen added quickly. "And we're not talking small-time crooks. Something's off about them."

Megan tilted her head, her Martian senses tingling. "Off? What do you mean?"

Before Karen could answer, a loud growl echoed from outside. The girls froze for a moment before Jessica finished the thought. "Because they're not just robbers—they're Hellgrammites."

Diana's eyes narrowed. "Then we don't have time to waste."

The girls exchanged determined looks, and as one, they reached for their suits. Barbara quickly donned her Batgirl uniform, Megan morphed into her Martian form, and Diana grabbed her armor and lasso. Karen activated her Bumblebee tech, shrinking down and flying out the door in a blur of yellow and black.

Outside, the men—or rather, the disguised Hellgrammites—had abandoned their human façades. Their skin was now a sickly green, their eyes glowing an eerie yellow. Razor-sharp claws emerged as they hissed and growled, trying to scare off any witnesses.

One of the Hellgrammites snarled, clutching the duffel bag filled with stolen cash and prizes. "Stay back, humans. This doesn't concern you."

Unfortunately for them, they didn't realize who they were dealing with.

Karen, now fully suited up as Bumblebee, zipped toward the creatures, her wings buzzing furiously. "Oh, it definitely concerns us!" she said, firing a concentrated energy blast at one of the Hellgrammites, knocking the bag out of its claws.

The Hellgrammite roared in anger as Batgirl somersaulted into the fray, tossing a smoke bomb to obscure their vision. "Looks like we're crashing your little robbery," Barbara quipped as she expertly dodged a claw swipe.

Diana charged in next, her lasso glowing as she swung it, snaring one of the Hellgrammites mid-leap. "You picked the wrong day to mess with us," she said, yanking the creature to the ground with a loud thud.

Megan hovered above the chaos, using her telepathy to confuse and disorient the remaining Hellgrammites. "They're trying to scatter!" she called out. "Karen, can you grab the bag?"

"Already on it!" Karen replied, shrinking down and darting toward the duffel bag. One of the Hellgrammites lunged for her, but she nimbly dodged, zipping out of its reach and grabbing the bag before returning to full size.

Meanwhile, the crowd near the contest was starting to notice the commotion. Kara was still locked in her ice cream battle with Hank, completely oblivious, until one of the Hellgrammites roared loudly, shaking the stage.

Kara paused mid-spoonful, her super-hearing finally catching the chaos behind her. "What the—?"

Jessica, now filming again from the sidelines, yelled, "Kara! We could use some help over here!"

Kara sighed, dropping her spoon. "And I was so close to winning." She stood up, cracked her knuckles, and flew off the stage, ready to join the action.

As the Hellgrammites realized they were outnumbered and outmatched, they let out a final growl before trying to retreat. But the superhero girls weren't letting them get away that easily.

Kara flew into the fray like a rocket, her fists glowing with determination. She landed in front of one of the Hellgrammites, her cape whipping behind her as she glared. "I was having ice cream, you jerks!" she shouted, landing a solid punch that sent the creature flying into a stack of empty waffle cone boxes.

Another Hellgrammite lunged at her, only to be met with her heat vision. The creature screeched and backed off, its claws smoking. Kara smirked. "Next time, think twice before interrupting my snack time."

Meanwhile, on the other side of the parking lot, Zatanna had finally left her cozy spot in the RV. With an annoyed flick of her wrist, she muttered, "Ezeerf dna nruter!" The stinger one of the Hellgrammites had fired at her froze midair, spun around, and shot back toward its owner, striking it in the leg. The creature howled in pain as Zee blew on her nails. "You really should know better than to mess with magic, darling."

Hank, the massive, ice-cream-loving guy from the contest, had clearly decided to switch teams—or reveal his true form. His human disguise melted away, revealing that he, too, was a Hellgrammite, albeit a much larger and more menacing one. He let out a guttural roar and charged toward Diana and Megan.

"Is this guy serious?" Diana asked, sidestepping his clumsy swing.

Megan floated effortlessly to the side, her eyes glowing green. "For someone so big, he's really slow."

"Agreed," Diana said, ducking under another wild punch. She swung her lasso, wrapping it tightly around his legs. "Time to bring you down!" With a powerful tug, she yanked him off balance, sending him crashing to the ground.

Megan seized the moment, using her telekinesis to pin Hank's arms to the asphalt. "Stay down, big guy," she said firmly.

But Hank wasn't giving up so easily. With a roar, he broke free of Megan's grip and swiped at Diana, who blocked his attack with her indestructible bracelets. The clash sent a shockwave rippling through the parking lot, rattling the nearby tables and scattering what was left of the ice cream bowls.

Kara, hearing the commotion, turned her attention to Hank. "Oh, you want to play, huh?" she said, flying over and landing a punch square in his jaw. Hank stumbled backward but managed to regain his footing.

"Okay, now you've made me mad," Kara growled, her fists crackling with power.

As the fight intensified, the rest of the team worked together seamlessly. Karen buzzed around the remaining Hellgrammites, zapping them with precise energy blasts. Barbara used her gadgets to trap two in a net, while Zatanna summoned magical chains to bind another to a light post.

The tide of the battle was turning, and the Hellgrammites were starting to realize they were hopelessly outmatched. One of them hissed, "This isn't over!" before attempting to flee, but Megan intercepted it with a force field, trapping it in place.

"Not so fast," she said with a smirk.

With most of the Hellgrammites subdued, the team turned their attention back to Hank. Wonder Woman, Super girl and Miss Martian surrounded him, their combined strength too much for even his hulking form to handle.

Super gril crossed her arms and glared at him. "You're done, pal. Now, do you want to surrender, or should we go another round?"

Hank growled but ultimately dropped to his knees, defeated. The crowd, who had been watching from a safe distance, erupted into cheers as the superhero girls stood tall, victorious once again.

Batgirl dusted herself off and looked at Kara. "So… think you'll ever finish that ice cream?"

Super sighed dramatically. "Not a chance. They ruined the whole vibe."

Zatanna smirked. "Don't worry. I'll whip us up some magical sundaes later. No jerks allowed."

"Sounds like a plan," Super Girl said, grinning. "But first, let's get these creeps out of here."

The team regrouped, high-fiving each other as they began tying up the remaining Hellgrammites. Another mission accomplished, and this time, with a sweet twist.

They all laugh
