Hey there, my fellow writers and readers. Here's a new Cobra Kai story I cooked up one day.

Spoilers: The beach party scene from Season 1's "Different but Same" is mentioned, as is Aisha Robinson's being sent to a private school in Season 3's "Aftermath" too.

Disclaimer: Geniuses Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg own Cobra Kai. I own the fanfics I cook up from time to time.

A Bully Turned Outcast

Having heard of what had happened to Emily Chambers through grapevine gossip, Demetri and Yasmine found her, and sat on either side of her, empathy written on their faces.

Demetri kindly asked her, "What is wrong, Emily?"

"Yes," Yasmine agreed in a concerned tone. "Why is that pretty face of yours so awash in tears?"

Initially taken aback by their kindness (although mentally), Emily decided swallowing her pride and being honest with them was definitely a good idea. After all, she knew snappishly informing them to leave her alone was something her old bully self would've done, since she now believed she was done with being the bully she strongly disliked (and permanently so).

"I'm now an ex-bully. You see, I've vowed to turn over a new leaf by rejecting bullying in all its forms. And the reason for that is, I finally see bullying for what it really is — a sick addiction, which destroys people."

"Good for you, Emily." Demetri gave her a thumbs up. "Good thinking on your part there."

Yasmine nodded. "My friend Moon would be proud of you, too." She lowered her eyes a little. "She herself had been almost similar to the bully I once was."

At Emily's puzzled expression, Yasmine explained, "I say 'was' because on the night of my 16th birthday last year, she stood her ground when I told her she and I were leaving the beach party at the lake because these students whom I hadn't invited to my party had come to the lake first. Looking me in the eyes, she told me, 'No. I'm staying' and turned to Aisha a little with 'I apologized to Aisha for what we did' before turning back to me with 'And you should too'."

"Really?" Emily queried. She was puzzled, but unsurprised, having long since heard of Aisha Robinson (who, she'd heard, had since moved to a private school after the brawl between the students of Cobra Kai and the students of Miyagi-Do at West Valley High) and what she was like personality-wise, as well as her introducing Yasmine to the front wedgie through pieces of grapevine gossip.

"Yeah," Yasmine nodded. Deep down, she still occasionally felt a sharp pang of regret at the memory of her dismissive reply to Moon on that fateful night: "Whatever. You deserve them, Moon."
