Since people liked my Honorable Honeybee fanfic I figured I would do something similar. I'm writing a Fantastic Four fanfic!

I could call it Fantastic Five but I could be more original than that.

Though the Fantastic Four have had guest stars…like Daredevil. It's nice to have Marvel characters from other comic books appear in the Fantastic Four.

I'll try not to make Alicia invincible since that was a criticism I had at the start of Honorable Honeybee. To be fair I do like to parody superhero comics a bit. But I feel like I'm getting better writing her.

Chapter 1: A Hero Is Born

At the Fantastic Four base, The Thing was watching Reed do his work.

He decided to ask him a question.

"Whatcha doin', Reed?" asked Ben.

And yes, he got the first line in this fanfic. Lucky him. But he isn't the main protagonist. You probably already knew who the main protagonist is. And yes, there are a lot of female protagonists in the author's works.

"I decided to study the radioactive material that made the Daredevil. I figured perhaps I could restore his sight." noted Mr. Fantastic. If he could do that, perhaps he could cure other people as well.

Though he imagined Alicia was used to being blind.

"You don't say?" questioned Ben.

At that very moment, Alicia stopped by.

"What are you studying?" asked Alicia.

"What made the Daredevil." noted Mr. Fantastic. It reminded him a bit of the radioactive spider that made Spider-Man…and the bee that made Honeybee.

He held out the material for Alicia.

However, he then remembered that she was blind, so she couldn't see it.

"Whoops. Sometimes I forget." noted Mr. Fantastic. Alicia had a good sense of her surroundings despite visual impairment.

Suddenly, Doctor Doom broke into the lab.

"Mr. Fantastic! We meet again!" exclaimed the doctor.

"Just when I was doing research too." noted Mr. Fantastic.

He sounded the alarm.

Hopefully Invisible Woman and the Torch would arrive in time.

If not, all that would be left would be a duo.

Doctor Doom lunged towards Mr. Fantastic.

Unfortunately, he dropped the radioactive material on Alicia.

"Oh no!" exclaimed The Thing.

Alicia gasped.

Fortunately, she was fine.

However, she suddenly found that her surroundings seemed clearer all of a sudden.

She was still technically blind, but she had a better picture of the area now.

"Is that a golem?" asked Alicia. A golem that was wearing pants, for whatever reason.

"What?" asked The Thing.

"Oh, that golem is you! You look like a work of art!" exclaimed the young woman.

"I feel so much better about my appearance now." noted the golem. If Alicia didn't mind it, why should he mind it?

"Is that Dr. Doom?!" shouted Alicia.

Maybe she picked a bad time to visit. To be fair, the Fantastic Four could never tell whenever somebody was going to attack the base, though it was better for their foes not to attack them on their home turf. Just as they preferred not to visit Latveria to fight Doctor Doom.

The Thing quickly put himself in front of her.

Mr. Fantastic fought Doctor Doom, but he seemed to have the upper hand.

Unfortunately, Human Torch and Invisible Woman were not here yet.

So it was two against Doom.

Doctor Doom punched The Thing and knocked him down.

"He's been working out!" shouted Ben. If only they weren't short two members.

"Are you alright?" asked Alicia. She couldn't help but feel worried whenever Doctor Doom attacked the Fantastic Four.

Luckily, they seemed to always prevail over him. Except the time where he stole the powers of the Silver Surfer.

She held his left arm.

"Yeah." nodded The Thing.

Suddenly, Doom fired a bolt of lightning at Big Ben.

He was hit head on, which was an unpleasant experience for him.

And to make matters worse, Alicia was hit as well, because the current transferred to her.

"That really smarts!" exclaimed Thing.

"Really? I didn't feel it." answered Alicia.

"Huh?" asked Ben.

But as it turned out, she was no longer phased by electricity.

Suddenly, Alicia could feel electricity coursing through her veins.

Perhaps the radioactive material had something to do with it.

She decided she wanted to defend The Thing from Doctor Doom so he wouldn't be…doomed.

But how would she do that?

Suddenly, a round of lightning emerged from Alicia's fingertips.

It hit Doctor Doom in the chest.

This worked surprisingly well against them.

"Doctor Doom commands you to stop that! My armor is made of a conductive metal!" exclaimed Doctor Doom.

"I don't think you should listen to him." suggested The Thing. The citizens of Latveria were too submissive if you asked him. They had been promised peace, but still.

"Ok then." answered Alicia.

She decided to zap Doctor Doom again.

"I must fight back against her!" exclaimed Doom.

If not, he was going to lose. And he had already lost against the Fantastic Four enough times as it was.

He fired another round of lightning…

…but this did not affect her at all.

"What?!" exclaimed Doctor Doom. That had never happened before. Though there was a first time for everything.

"I guess the radioactive material also protects me from electricity." noted Alicia. She would take note of that in the future. Supervillains who wielded electricity should be concerned about her.

"Fine, I'll use my fists!" shouted the man.

He decided to do that…

…but it turned out the radioactive material had made Alicia super strong.

He ended up being slammed into a wall.

"Oops, did I do that?" asked Alicia.

She just wanted to push him away.

But it seemed she did not know her own strength.

To be fair, it did take some time to get used to being super strong. Peter Parker had had to restrain himself more than once. Like when Flash Thompson was pestering him.

And so did the Honorable Honeybee.

And considering that Doctor Doom was fighting the Fantastic Four, it just might be best if he were knocked unconscious.

"How am I losing…to a blind woman?" questioned Doctor Doom.

"Life is full of surprises!" exclaimed The Thing. It seemed that Alicia was not one to be underestimated.

At that very moment, Human Torch and Invisible Woman entered the base.

"Fighting the four of you is a challenge as is…but five of you? Doctor Doom isn't taking his chances!" exclaimed the man who despite his name did not have a doctorate.

He decided to fly away.

He would have to prepare for Alicia next time.

His lightning weapons just weren't going to cut it.

"Are you alright?" asked Invisible Woman.

"We are. You can thank Alicia for that." answered The Thing.

"Well done, Alicia!" exclaimed Mr. Fantastic. She sure had been a big help to them this time. If it weren't for her, they might not have survived the attack.

"I knew that you got your powers from radiation exposure…but I never thought I would have powers someday too!" shouted Alicia.

Then again, you never could tell in the Marvel universe when you would develop a superpower.

"You'd be surprised where supers get their powers." noted The Human Torch. He heard that Spider-Man got his powers from a radioactive spider. Why did it bite him, anyway? Did he look like a fly to it?

"I don't get it…this is the same material that Daredevil was exposed to. How come he isn't shoot lightning from his fingertips?" questioned The Thing.

"Radiation does seem to affect everyone differently. Otherwise, we wouldn't have different powers." acknowledged Invisible Woman.

"That's a good point." noted Mr. Fantastic.

"Maybe we should do some tests." suggested Susan.

"Good idea." nodded The Human Torch. Who knows how powerful she had become?

Invisible Woman decided to turn invisible.

Everyone noticed…except Alicia.

"Why are you all looking at Invisible Woman?" asked Alicia.

"It figures my invisibility wouldn't work on Alicia." admitted Invisible Woman.

"No kidding!" exclaimed the Human Torch.

"You might be a good way to counter stealth from our foes." noted Mr. Fantastic. In many ways, it was like Spider-Man's spider sense.

And yes, he had met Spider-Man before. Though the Human Torch had met him first.

"But I'm not a fighter!" shouted Alicia.

"True…you've always been peaceful. But you can at least keep Ben under control when he gets angry." suggested Reed. He was a lot like the Incredible Hulk…only he was The Thing full time.

"That's a good point." acknowledged the blind woman. If there was anyone that could do that, it was her.

"Are you saying we should let her join the team?" asked The Thing.

"I don't imagine myself as a fighter…but if it's to protect the Fantastic Four, I'll do it!" exclaimed Alicia.

Reed applauded.

"Finally! I'm not the only woman on the team!" shouted the Invisible Woman.

"Is it wrong that you're on a team with three guys?" asked the Human Torch. He personally didn't mind being friends with women.

"I don't mind your company, I just felt a bit left out." explained Susan. And a bit lonely. There was a time frame where Crystal had joined the Fantastic Four, but she was a busy woman.

"Oh." comprehended Johnny.

"We can go clothes shopping!" shouted the blonde.

"I'm not into that." answered the blind woman.

"Really?" asked Susan.

"Yeah…sometimes stereotypes can be true…like Germans loving beer…but most of them aren't." spoke Alicia. Every girl was different. She was blind in her case.

And she couldn't window shop, anyways. Though maybe now she could with her heightened senses.

"Any suggestions?" questioned the blonde lady. She was open to ideas…much like her husband was.

"We could check out an art museum…I might be blind but I can still get a picture of them to some extent." explained Ben's love interest.

Now that she had Daredevil's powers one could say she wasn't totally blind anymore.

"We can do that." answered Susan Storm.

Ben decided to look at himself in a mirror.

"You're looking yourself in a mirror, Ben? I haven't seen you do that in a long time." remarked Reed. Before he had wished that he was a vampire so that he couldn't see his own reflection. Though a vampire golem was unheard of.

Ben knew how Frankenstein's Monster felt. If only Dr. Frankenstein had made him more attractive. But alas, he had been dealt a heavy hand in life. Like Quasimodo.

"I don't feel like I need to be my normal self again anymore." answered The Thing.

Now he was content with being a golem.

Though perhaps he had been less fortunate than The Hulk was. Bruce Banner only turned into the Hulk when he was angry. And he still looked more human by comparison.

He had more control over himself though. So there was an upside to it.

"It's probably for the best. Turning back would cause you to lose your powers." pointed out Reed. There had been times when they had needed Ben's help, after all.

"I suppose." nodded Ben. He wondered how Aunt Petunia would react though. They've had a long-distance relationship.

Alicia was admiring the paintings.

There were a lot of things she could do now that she had Daredevil's powers.

"Oh no! The statue tipped over!" exclaimed a sculptor.

It was lucky that nobody was hurt.

Alicia picked it up.

"I wonder if you've become the second-strongest member of our team." questioned Invisible Woman. The first being The Thing.

"Maybe I have." answered the female Daredevil. Sure, she didn't feel as strong as The Thing was, but she could still do impressive things.

"I have to admit, you've done impressive things even before you got powers. You persuaded the Silver Surfer to rebel against his master." noted Susan.

"I guess I have." answered Alicia. She remembered meeting the Silver Surfer for the first time. She heard that he had his own comic book series now.

If it weren't for her, the whole planet might have been destroyed.

She could sympathize with Galactus though. He just needed to eat like humanity did.

Though to be fair, there were uninhabited planets that he could eat. He could leave Earth alone.

If only there was a way to make it so he didn't have to feast on planets. They were still looking for it.

They could ask the Watcher, but the last time he didn't watch, he ended up causing devastation to the Skrull.

After visiting the museum, Alicia decided to go back home.

Whenever evil threatened the world, she would be ready for it.

Since the Fantastic Four represent the four elements I gave Alicia lightning powers, since I consider lightning to be the honorary fifth element. Though one could also consider it a sub element of fire. Depends on how you look at it.

And yeah, I decided to subvert stereotypes.

I gave Doctor Doom a taste of his own medicine, didn't he?

See you later!
