Bruno: (Groans) The doctor has been in there with her for an hour.

Pepa: Try and sit down with us, Brunito.

Felix: It's much better than pacing.

Agustin: Well, you can't really blame him for being so anxious. Elsa really didn't look so good.

Julieta: (Angrily) Agustin!

Isabela:TiaElsa is strong,Tio.If anything is wrong with her, she'll fight back.

Mirabel: (Annoyed) You're not helping by also saying something might be wrong with her, Isa.

Alma: Girls,por favor.Enough.

(Alma goes over to Bruno then stops his pacing)

Alma: Brunito, what we're all saying is...whatever is wrong with Elsa...even though it may be nothing...we're here for her.

Bruno: You mean that,M'ma?

Alma: Well, as I said...it may be nothing at all.

(The doctor opens the door then closes it then the family quickly gathers around him)

Bruno: (Concerned) Doctor Rivera...My wife...

Doctor: She is currently redressing herself.

(Bruno grabs the doctor's shirt collar)

Bruno: (Angrily) You had her undressed?!

(Felix and Luisa pull Bruno back)

Doctor: Bruno...I can't really examine her properly if she's fully clothed.

(Bruno calms down then looks over at the door then over to the doctor)

Bruno: (Concerned) But...what's wrong with her?

Doctor: (Chuckles) Well...It seems you'll be very much like your sisters, Bruno.

(Bruno looks confused then the doctor touches his shoulder)

Doctor: You'll soon be a parent.

(Pepa and Julieta and Mirabel gasp happily while Luisa and Isabela and Antonio look hopeful while Felix looks shocked while Bruno is beaming)

Bruno: Do...Do you mean...?

Doctor: I do. Elsa is going to have a baby.

(Isabela, Mirabel and Luisa cheer out loudly followed by Felix and Agustin then Julieta and Pepa hug Bruno who now looks speechless)

Bruno: I'm...gonna be...a father?

(The doctor nods then tears well in Bruno's eyes then he laughs then quickly shakes the doctor's hand then hurries into the bedroom then closes the door then sees Elsa by the window then she turns to him then smiles at him lovingly)

Elsa: Surprise.

(Bruno chuckles then goes over to Elsa then kisses her romantically then hugs her then looks down at her stomach then places his hands against it then looks back up at Elsa)

Bruno: (Softly) I can't believe it, Elsa. We're gonna have our own littlefamilia.

Elsa: (Chuckles) That we are.

(Bruno kisses Elsa then grabs her hands)

Bruno: (Happily)Casita'sgonna grow more...with our child!

(Bruno lifts up Elsa then spins her around making her laugh then Antonio opens the door then comes into the room)

Antonio:TiaElsa, I'm gonna get a new cousin!

(Antonio runs over to Elsa and Bruno then Bruno picks him up then Elsa kisses his cheek then gives him a squeeze)

Elsa: You certainly are, Antonio.

(The rest of the family comes in to hug Elsa and Bruno, except for Alma, who stands outside, then she sighs then goes over to the portrait of Pedro then shrugs)

Alma: I don't know what this exactly means yet, Pedro. But if our little Brunito is to be a father...it must mean something good. Maybe we'll know in time.

END OF SNIPPET

Elsa: Another month passed.

Bruno: Another month just beginning.

(Elsa sighs then runs her hands along her belly)

Elsa: They're beginning to run out of room.

(Bruno frowns in concern then places his hand on Elsa's belly, gently rubbing it, then presses his forehead to hers)

Bruno: I know it hasn't been easy carrying them, querida.

Elsa: My mother never had this trouble with me or Anna.

Bruno: Well, you weren't exactly twins, carina.

Elsa: (Sighs) I know.

(Elsa groans then shifts a little)

Bruno: (Concerned) You alright?

(Elsa places her hand on top of Bruno's then kisses his cheek)

Elsa: Another slight backache...that's all.

(Bruno carefully places another pillow behind Elsa's back then she sighs in relief then rests her head against his shoulder)

Elsa: I don't mean to cause you all this worry.

Bruno: (Sighs) Well...It's more than that...

(Elsa looks up at Bruno then touches his cheek)

Elsa: Antonio's nightmare?

(Bruno sighs then nods then looks down at Elsa's belly)

Bruno: I'm worried what it could mean.

(Elsa looks down at her belly)

Elsa: (Concerned) Been thinking the same thought lately myself. It... It seemed so real.

(Bruno looks up at Elsa)

Bruno: That's why I didn't go back to bed that night. I couldn't get it out of my head.

Elsa: But one thing though doesn't make sense...a monster. We know they're not real. But everything else...

(Elsa gasps in pain then Bruno steadies her)

Bruno: (Concerned) Elsa, you're getting excited.

(Bruno gently rubs Elsa's back and her belly then she slowly relaxes then leans back against Bruno)

Elsa: We could still be thinking about absolutely nothing.

Bruno: Then let's leave it at that. You need sleep.

(Elsa nods then closes her eyes then Bruno gently lays Elsa onto the bed then covers her up then kisses her forehead then touches her cheek then quietly leaves the room then leans against the door)

Bruno: (Quietly, to himself)Papa...if you're watching over us now...tell me what I need to do to find the answer to what this all means. Is...Is my family really in danger,Papa? I... I don't know what to do.

(Bruno buries his head between his knees then begins weeping. Inside the room, Elsa now has her eyes opened as tears streak down her cheeks, then she falls back asleep, cradling her belly)

END OF SNIPPET

Elsa: Bruno, where exactly are you taking me?

Bruno: You'll see. We're almost there.

(Elsa hears a door opening)

Elsa: Whose room are we in?

Bruno: You'll find out. Keep them closed now, corazon.

(Bruno stops walking then uncovers Elsa's eyes)

Bruno: Alright. Open them up.

(Elsa opens her eyes then she gasps when she sees three wooden cradles in front of their bed with drawings of snowflakes, butterflies and jaguars painted on)

Elsa: (Surprised) Bruno...

(Bruno chuckles then grabs Elsa's hand then leads her over to the cradles)

Bruno: Me, Agustin and Felix worked on them in secret for days. I thought I'd show them to you since we're getting closer.

(Elsa brushes her hand along the edges of the cradles then she smiles lightly while tears well in her eyes then she turns to Bruno then cups his face)

Elsa: They're beautiful.

(Bruno smiles lovingly at Elsa then brushes away her tears then Elsa chuckles then kisses Bruno then she lays her hands on his chest)

Elsa: And when the babies arrive, they'll love their surprise just as much as I did.

Bruno: It really isn't too much?

Elsa: No. They're perfect.

(Elsa kisses Bruno)

Elsa: Thank you for doing this.

(Bruno kisses Elsa's forehead)

Bruno: Do anything to make you and our children happy, mi vida.

(Elsa hugs Bruno then she looks back over at the cradles then begins pondering)

Elsa: Still...there's something missing...

Bruno: (Confused) Like what?

(Elsa waves her magic around then conjures three mobiles made from ice dangling over each cradle)

Elsa: Now they're complete.

(Bruno comes up behind Elsa then places his hands against her belly then nuzzles his nose against her cheek)

Bruno: A great addition.

Elsa: (Giggles) Thank you.

(Alma creaks open the door then sees Elsa turning to Bruno then grabs his hands)

Elsa: I can't wait for us to sing them to sleep every night.

Bruno: Eh. I'm not much of a singer.

Elsa: I doubt that.

(They both laugh then Bruno kneels down to Elsa's belly then kisses it)

Bruno: (To Elsa's belly, softly) Do you want Papa to sing to you now, our little wonders?

(Elsa strokes Bruno's hair)

Elsa: (Softly) I'm sure they'd love nothing more.

(Bruno presses his forehead to Elsa's belly then begins singing 'Dos Oruguitas', while Alma watches then she slowly flashes back to her and Pedro finding out about their own triplets, then them fawning over baby Bruno, Julieta and Pepa, followed by the attack on their village and them leaving their home behind. Alma regains her composure then she looks over at Elsa smiling down at Bruno warmly while he focuses on her belly, still staring at it fondly, continuing to sing. Alma scowls then she quietly closes the door)
