A Destined Meeting.

Asuka Kazama, a young Japanese girl who lives in Osaka. She was taught Kazama-style Martial Arts by her father ever since she was a child. She was known as a nosy kid who liked to fix other peoples' problems, usually by knockout, meaning she got in to fights a lot around her neighborhood, breaking up fights by stepping in and ending them herself. One would be surprised by how often this happens, in fact it happened almost daily with only short breaks between them. Today just happened to be a fight day for the young Kazama, as on her way to school, she noticed some punks beating on a smaller boy. Of course these street punks gang up on weaker people, they are never brave enoug for a fair fight.

Being the fist of justice she is, and being angered at such an cowardly act of ganging up on a helpless boy, Asuka parked her bike and went to confront them.

"Hey! Leave him alone!" She called out.

The punks looked at her, and their victim took the chance to make a run for it. The group leader watched him run before looking back at Asuka, eyeing her up and down... His eyes lingering to long bellow her neck, which Asuka noticed and of course it bothered her. Asuka was really well developed for her young age and as to be expected, a lot of creeps would look where they're not allowed to look. Not that Asuka would expect manners from a group of street punks.

"Bad move little girl. That punk owed us money, now you will have to be the one to pay up" The Leader said while continuing to check Asuka out "You can pay either with money, or other ways".

Asuka only punched her fist in to her palm "I have a better idea, how about you guys hit the bricks and stop messing with people, and I won't humiliate you all by kicking your asses around the block?".

The thugs laughed mockingly while the leader smirked "Boys, show the kid who runs the streets around here".

One of thugs walked towards Asuka who didn't look the least bit worried. He reached for her, only for her to suddenly grab his arm, flip him through the air and slamming him in to the ground, knocking him out in one single move. The rest of the thugs were surprised and decided not to underestimate her again as they all began moving towards her. Asuka only smiled as she got ready.

The first thug decides to rush her with his fist pulled back but Asuka kicks at his legs to knock him off balance and punches him into the face, sending him to the ground, unconscious. A second thug takes out a knife and tries to swipe at her but she deflects it by hitting his arm and kicks him in the side, sening him falling head first in to a nearby trashcan. She then blocks a punch from another thug, before proceeding to pull his arm down and punched him in the side of the head.

Asuka then dodged a stab from another thug, before uppercutting him with her left fist, sending him to the air before he landed on the ground, knocked out. Asuka then noticed the leader was finally looking ready to join the fight himself but was letting two of his remaining guys attack her first. One tried to bull rush her, but a swift kick from Asuka knocked him to the ground, before Asuka delivers a left spin kick to a the other thug that try to attack her from behind. As Asuka tosses another bandit to the ground with a fluent motion control move she learned from her father, the leader had finally had enough and decided it was time for him to step in.

She knocks out the two remaining thugs the much bigger leader stormed towards her with and threw a punch. Asuka noticed just in time and managed to dodged the punch and kicked the leader back. His larger size made him a lot tougher than his buddies, and he looked like he knew how to brawl. Asuka knew she could beat him, but she wasn't arrogant enough to underestimate him, so she kept her guard up. He was much bigger than his minions, and clearly very strong. Asuka believed he was someone who relied on his size and strength to simply overpower and crush his opponent. That would work against smaller untrained opponents, but while Asuka may be smaller, she was far better trained.

The Leader rushed in with a couple of strong punches, but Asuka dodged the first and used the momentum of his next punch to turn his strength against him and threw him down. He got up quickly, looking more angry than ever as he rushed her with his arms spread, preparing to crush her with his shear strength... but this only left him open for a boot to his face, making him stumble back. Asuka then delivered a punch to his jaw, then a punch to his chest making him hunch over in pain, allowing Asuka to deliver a back flip kick to his jaw. This move caused her skirt fly up for a second, but luckily all the punks were unconscious, so no one saw anything.

Asuka looked around at her defeated foes "As always, no challenge. One would think these people would just give up already, unless they want to get beat up all the time... Wait time... Oh crap! I'm gonna be late!".

She quickly jumped on to her bike and began rushing to her school, believing the boy from before had already called the cops and these punks wouldn't be bothering anyone again... However, in her rush, she accidentally dropped her phone on the ground and didn't notice as she bikes down the street. Her phone laid on the ground before someone walked over to it and picked it up. She looks at it for a few seconds before hearing the thugs leader get back up.

He holds his chest in pain "That little bitch... I will get the rest of my gang and I we will kill her as slowly and painfully as-".

"I can't allow that" The mysterious figure said.

The Thug leader looked just in time to see a swift kick coming towards his head.

Asuka made it to school with barely 5 minutes to spare, mainly thanks to her biking like crazy... a miracle her bike didn't explode from the strain. Asuka was now in class but before it could begin, the teacher had an announcement.

"Alright everyone, before we begin I wish to announce that we will be getting a new transfer student today. Please come in" The Teacher said and soon the door opened and a girl stepped inside.

She is of petite height, with a slender and athletic frame. She has fair skin, striking light red eyes and straight lavender hair, which is cut to the nape of her neck, with a front fringe. She looked really cute and even beautiful, however she also had a hard look in her eyes... And Asuka's trained eyes could tell she was strong... Well that certainly made her more interesting.

"Why don't you introduce yourself?" The Teacher asked.

"My name is Ayane, I look forward to attending class with you all" The girl named Ayane said with a polite bow, but when she stood back up she looked right at Asuka, meeting her eyes for a couple of seconds before looking ahead.

'What was that about?' Asuka wondered in her head.

"Thank you Ayane, please take a seat, pick whichever is available" The Teacher said.

Ayane did as told and took an empty seat right behind Asuka... The young Kazama could feel the new girl's eyes on her. She had no idea why this new girl was so interested in her, but she had a feeling she will find out soon enough.

School went on like normal, and Asuka was standing on the roof, looking over the school. She saw the other students hanging out and goofing around. Asuka didn't have that many friends, she's among the only fighters in the school so finding someone with a similar passion wasn't easy. It didn't bother her that much, but Asuka was fully aware she was a little different from the others, and some were even scared of her due to her crazy strength and dangerous temper.

She sighed and decided to check her phone... only to notice it was gone.

"What the!? Where is my phone?!" She asked out loud as she frantically looked for her phone but couldn't find it... She must've dropped it during her fight with those punks... If that is the case her phone must be busted.

"Excuse me" Asuka nearly jumped out of her skin as someone suddenly appeared right next to her.

She looked and saw Ayane "Oh it's you. Geez you nearly gave me a heart attack".

"Sorry, but I believe this is yours" Ayane said as she held up Asuka's phone.

Asuka quickly took it a smiled widely "My phone! Thank you so much, you're a real life saver. Not sure if you can tell but I'm not exactly rich, so wouldn't be able to afford a new phone. Thanks again, you're name is Ayane right?".

"It is, and you are Asuka Kazama" Ayane answered.

Asuka blinked "How do you know my name?".

Ayane crossed her arms with a small smile "You have a reputation around here. Like beating up random strangers in the streets".

"Oh, you heard about that. I only beat up idiots who starts fights in the streets for no reason" Asuka said before giving Ayane a quick look over "And judging by your impressive physique, am I right to assume your a fighter too?".

"I'm impressed you figured it out so easily. Yes, I am a fighter. Been one my whole life" Ayane answered.

Asuka couldn't help but to smirk "Well it's nice to see another fighter around here. Maybe we should spar sometime".

"Aren't you the one picking a fight for no reason now?" Ayane asked.

"Of course not, there is a difference between sparring and a real fight. Those idiots I beat up never offers any real competition, so I was hoping I could test my skills against someone who knows how to fight" Asuka explained.

"I guess I could accept your offer. If you really want to experience loss that badly" Ayane said in a simple but confident tone.

Asuka narrowed her eyes "I wasn't planing on loosing. I can tell you are strong, but don't think you can beat me so easily".

"I guess we will find out soon. But for now, I need to familiarize myself with the school. See you around, Asuka Kazama" Ayane said before jumping off the roof.

Asuka panicked and ran over to the edge, looked down and saw... Ayane casually walking away like nothing happened. Asuka rubbed her chest, this was the second time that girl nearly gave her a heart. But for her to survive a fall like that with no problems, she must be strong. Asuka couldn't help but to smile, maybe she really has found a worthy opponent.

Meanwhile, Ayane had gone to a private spot where he took out an earpiece from inside her clothing and put it to her ear.

"Hey it's me, your plan worked well, I made it in to the school" She said.

"Excellent, I knew sending you in under cover as a student would be our best approach" A female voice said from the other side.

"I made contact with this Asuka Kazama. You sure she's the one we're looking for? She doesn't appear very spiritual" Ayane said, wanting to make sure she wasn't wasting her time on this mission.

"I assure you, all my intel points at her being the one. You need to keep an eye on her and make sure nothing happens to her. You already know how important the Kazama bloodline is" The woman said.

"The bloodline with the power to stop demons, yes I remember. But I'm not sure if Asuka even knows about that, or if she even has that power" Ayane said.

"Maybe so, but regardless if she's aware of her power or not, we will need her in the future. And if she could learn to awaken and control her bloodline's abilities, then she could be the key to stopping the devil. Until then, keep her safe, if the rumors of Kazama members being hunted down and killed are true, then she could be in serious danger" The Woman said.

"Got it, I will keep her alive. Talk to you soon, Helena" Ayane said before removing her earpiece.

If Helena was right about Asuka, then it could not be stretched how important her mission was. Ayane wasn't sure if she liked Asuka or not, but she did remind her a little of Hitomi. Ayan would pretend to be her friend if need be, but for now she needs to learn everything she can about her, and if she really posses the Kazamas' holy power.

Hello everyone, another new story. Now this is one of the stories I've been wanting to make for nearly a year now, but never got around to it. When Tekken 8 was announced, I held off on making this story just in case the game finally gave Asuka some much needed spotlight and she would finally realize her potential... But of course it didn't.

While I did Like the Tekken 8 story as a whole, I'm was so annoyed by Asuka being sidelined again. It wasn't as bad as I feared it would be since at least Asuka was in the story, but other than a cool but very short fight scene where she teamed up with Lili, she didn't really do anything, nor did she have a real moment with Jin where they could've talked with each other.

So to quote my favorite titan "Fine, I'll do it myself".

I am still working on what time period this will take place in, but I can say for sure it will be before Tekken 7. I might also include some elements from the Online Tekken Comic that was made back when Tekken 6 was being hyped up, since that comic/Manga made far better use of Asuka's potential than the games did.

And I paired it up with Dead Or Alive, because I always liked this crossover and while most would pair Asuka with Hitomi due to their similarities, I chose Ayane because not only are they closer in age, but they are similar in that both can be cocky and agressive at times, but they are also different enough to make the paring interesting.

Tell me what you think.
