A young girl This is Amy running down the road with her small brown terrier dog Toto.)
Amy was a slender girl with light brown hair which she keeps in pigtails under a pink and yellow helmet that she wears all the time. She wears a black tank top with light blue jean shorts, and knee-socks and black shoes. Amy also wears a yellow beaded bracelet on her left arm and a watch on her right.
A few months after Amy had left Aberdale she adopted a black Cairn Terrier named Toto and Amy had since cared for the dog and give the dog love yet there were times were Toto can be a handful and would cause trouble but Amy loved the dog never the less.
Amy: (Worried) She isn't coming yet, Toto. Did she hurt you? She tried to, didn't she? Come on, we'll go tell Mom and Dad.
Come on Toto.(She rushes home to tell her Mother and her new boyfriend . She still had Gilles in her last name but plans to change later once if her and Henry get married.
But in the meantime they're concerned about the broken fridge and they're counting the food .
The girl then flings the door open and runs into her house.
Amy : (Running up to her mother ) Mom ! Mom! Just listen what Miss Moody did to :
Glinda (Not listening) Amy, please we're trying to
Amy: (Protesting) Oh, but Mom she hit.
The step father: Don't bother us, honey. We're busy right now.
Amy: Oh, but Mom . Miss Officer Moody hit Toto right over with the back of a rake. Just because he gets in her garden, he chases her nasty old cat
Glinda : (Continues counting) Seventy, Amy please
Amy : Oh, but he doesn't do it every day. Just once or twice a week. He can't catch her old cat anyway. And now she's gonna get the
Glinda : Amy , Amy, we're busy.
Amy: (Understands and walks away) Oh, all right.
In her brothers room Amy's brother Hunk and his freind Zeke were playing tag .
Hunk: How's she coming? Take it
Sudden a Hunk falls and lands on his hand but hurts one of his fingers Ow! I hurt my finger!
Zeke: Why don't you get your finger out of the way?
Amy's brother : There you are, right on my finger.
Zeke: It's a lucky thing it wasn't in your head.
Hunk very funny but just you wait someday, they're gonna react a statue to me in this town.
Zeke Well, don't start posing for it now.
Amy: Zeke, what am I going to do about Miss Moody ? Just because he chases her old cat-
Zeke: Listen Amy, I got some homework to do
Hunk : Now look it Amy, you ain't using your head about Miss Moody, You'd think you didn't have any brains at
Amy : I have so got : Well, why don't you use them? When you come home don't by Miss Moody's place. Then Toto won't get in her garden, and you won't get in no trouble see?
Amy: Oh, you just won't listen that's all.
Hunk : Well, your head ain't made of straw you know. (Falls and Hurts his finger again, while walking.)
Zeke Listen, kid are gonna let that old moody heifer try and buffalo you? She ain't nothing to be afraid of. Have a little courage, thats.
Zeke : Well, the next time she squawks, walk right up to her and spit her in the eye. That's what I'd do.
Amy i can't do that she's a police officer.
Zeke i still do it police officer or not.
Suddenly the mother appears with a plate of corn dogs
Glinda" kids i have some corn dogs kids .
Zeke (Takes a corndog ) Gosh, Mrs '
Hunk (Takes one as well) Thanks Mom.
With that Hunk and Zeke walk off to do more fun.
Amy: (Takes the corn dog ) Mom really, you know what Miss Moody said she was going to do to Toto? She said she'd-
Glinda: (Sternly) Now, Amy dear stop even imagining things. You always get yourself into a fret over nothing.
Now you just help us out today and find yourself a place where you won't get into any trouble. (Walking away)
The girl just signs as she sees her mother walk away.
Amy: (To herself) Someplace where there isn't any trouble. (To Toto) Do you suppose there is such a place, Toto? There must be.
It's not a place you can get to by a boat or a train. It's far, far away. Behind the moon... Beyond the rain.
The little girl then began to sing
