"Can we hear it again?"A young boy, not appearing to be more than five years old, with tousled black hair that framed his round face and striking crystal blue eyes, looked down curiously from his perch atop a colorful bunk bed. He wore soft, cozy pajamas decorated with playful patterns of stars and moons, which added to his innocent charm.
Beside him, his cousin sat next to him, mirroring his youthful enthusiasm. She, too, was of the same age but possessed a head of messy, dirty blond hair that caught the light and danced around her shoulders. Her bright green eyes sparkled with mischief and excitement. Clad in her own set of vibrant pajamas adorned with cheerful cartoons, she nodded enthusiastically in agreement with her cousin, their shared energy filling the cozy room with a sense of adventure and camaraderie. "Please?" She pleaded with their guardian.
"More, tell us the story more." Another boy, who looked to be around the same age as the first two children, interjected with fervor. He appeared to be nestled in the cozy confines of the bottom bunk, his tousled black hair contrasting strikingly with his vibrant golden eyes. He was dressed in soft pajamas that seemed to reflect the warmth of his personality.
"Yeah, it's our favorite!" Chimed in a little girl with fiery red hair that danced around her shoulders, her bright blue eyes sparkling with enthusiasm as she addressed their guardian. She looked to be only about three years old, her innocence radiating through her playful demeanor. Standing beside her, her cousin wrapped a protective arm around her, their bond evident in the way they huddled together. Over time, it seemed as though they were morphing into siblings, sharing laughter and secrets that wove them closer each day.
"We promise to go to bed after." A little boy, no older than four, stood with bright blue eyes that sparkled with innocence and curiosity. His tousled dark brown hair framed his cherubic face, giving him an endearing appearance. Clad in soft, colorful pajamas adorned with whimsical characters, he looked every bit the part of a playful child. On his left wrist, he sported an unusual watch that bore a striking resemblance to a certain Omnitrix, its design intricate and intriguing for one so young. With a pleading look in his eyes, he seemed to be drawing upon every ounce of charm he could muster.
"Please dad?" The little girl, her golden blond hair cascading in soft waves around her cherubic face, gazed up at her father with wide, pleading blue eyes that sparkled with innocence. She appeared to be around four years old, her tiny hands tugging gently at the hem of his shirt, seeking his attention amidst the playful chaos.
Her father, a warm smile gracing his face, cradled two more toddlers in his strong arms. Both of them, no older than two, squirmed playfully, their laughter a delightful melody that filled the air. He looked down at the eight small children gathered around him, each one a bright burst of energy, their cheeks flushed with excitement. The scene was alive with joy, the essence of childhood captured in the innocent camaraderie that enveloped them.
"Alright, one more time, then it's off to bed." The guardian caved in before he began his story. "And there came a day unlike any other when Earth's mightiest heroes were united against a common threat... the Alien, the Hunter, the Goddess, the Knight, the Feral, the Ninja, the Spy, the Speedster, the King, the Wolf, the Ghost, the Shapeshifter, the Samurai, the Sorcerer, the Archer, the Dragon, the Bat, and the Reaper. On that day, the Avengers were born, to fight foes that no single hero could withstand. Time-traveling conquerors, alien invaders, the Negative Ten, and masters of evil... the Avengers vanquished them all and finally, when the world was at peace, the heroes built lives of their own. The Alien and Goddess fell in love, as did the Knight and the Speedster. The Feral made her mark on the Archer. The Wolf had found his Ghost. So did the Shapeshifter and the Sorcerer. The King found his queen. The Ninja and Samurai fell in love as did the Dragon and his Hunter. And one by one the children of the Avengers came to be, children who would one day become a new generation of heroes. But in time evil returned, an evil called Ultron. Ultron wanted nothing less than total dominion over the world. But the Avengers stood in its way. Sadly, their defeat was inevitable. But before they fell, the Avengers hid their children in a faraway place where they would grow up safe from Ultron's grasp, because the Avengers knew that as long as the children were alive, there was hope, hope for the future."
As the final words of the story faded into the comforting stillness of the night, the children's eyes grew heavy, surrendering to the gentle embrace of sleep, just as they had countless times before. Their guardian, a figure of warmth and care, watched over them with a tender smile, taking his time to ensure that each little one was cozily tucked in, their soft blankets wrapped snugly around them like a protective cocoon. The dim light cast a gentle glow, illuminating their peaceful faces, each breath a whisper in the quiet room. He took a moment, allowing his heart to swell with affection, as he looked back at the serene tableau before him—a scene filled with innocence and tranquility. Then, with a reluctant but knowing sigh, he turned to leave, casting one last, lingering glance at the sleeping children. "Yes…hope for the future." And with that, turns the lights off and walks out of the room, closing it from behind.
Yes this is another new story, but this will be quick, it won't take as long. But this is based on the Next Avengers Heroes of Tomorrow movie, but my version. Unlike the movie version, there will be a total of eight kids, this time around with their parents making up the sixteen members. But yeah, let me know what you all think. Three of the parents are OC's, but the rest are characters from the show, so I wanna see your guesses. One of them is obviously Ben, since his son has an Omnitrix. UltraPhantom, out! PEACE!
