Watching the series again back in late 2022, I was reminded how much Sophia's arc in the TV show depressed me. Sometimes you just need to see things differently. This story picks up during Daryl Dixon Season 2: The Book of Carol, Episode 04. If you haven't seen it, then it will be spoiled for you by reading this, as this story picks up midway through that episode.
