"How great would it be if there was a Christmas miracle now," Miko said out loud as she settled down more comfortably on the couch and continued to watch Jack and Raf play the game of formulas. But after she said that, both of them turned their attention to her and Jack still ended up losing.

"What Christmas miracle Miko?" Jack asked and Miko looked at him.

"Imagine what it would be like if there were people at the author's house over Christmas and we could spend time with them and on top of that, by some seriously mysterious miracle, the Decepticons disappeared," Miko said excitedly and turned her body to Jack and Raf.

"That would be great, we could go anywhere with them without having to hide and we could spend Christmas time with them," Raf said excitedly too, since he would also like such a Christmas miracle.

Jack looked at Raf in surprise, since the little genius was usually the smartest of the three and sometimes acted like Ratchet, rationally. "So Jack, what is your opinion?" Miko asked even though she knew the answer very well.

"Of course I would like it too but it is impossible, the Autobots are aliens and the Christmas miracle does not exist and will not exist" Jack said and Miko frowned even though she knew it was true. "But I agree that it is a nice idea" he agreed and Miko only smiled a little but still had a stony face. "Who did I do what to?" Jack asked himself and wanted to say something to Miko to improve her mood, but then someone entered the main hangar.

"What are you three still doing here and why aren't you home or at least on your way home. Where are your guards?" asked the old Autobot doctor, who entered the main hangar and saw the trio sitting on the couch and unusually quiet.

"Bulkhead and Bumblebee are training" Raf answered before the older two could even turn their heads.

"And Arcee?" Ratchet asked and looked directly at Jack, who shrugged his shoulders "Of course, she has her own charge but she's taking care of someone else" Ratchet muttered to himself, so that the children couldn't even hear.

After a few minutes Bulkead and Bumblebee arrived, who were taken home by Miko and Rafa and even though Jack was offered a ride home, he refused and said he would go with Arcee. It had been a long time since the weather was good for riding a motorcycle, as it was starting to get cold and it looked like Jasper Nevada would get some snow after years.

Jack sat on the couch, tapping his foot in boredom. "You could have gone with Bumblebee and Raf," he heard a female voice and knew that his guardian had finally arrived.

"You could have, but I would never turn down a ride on your back," Jack replied and Arcee laughed as she came closer to him. "Although it's been a pretty cold ride these past few days," he added and Arcee nodded.

"You also had the chance to go with Bumblebee and stay warm," she reminded him and he nodded as she transformed and sat on the seat and grabbed the handlebars.

Arcee slowly set off from the base and out into the cold weather, but Jack noticed that they were going a little slower than usual. "Arcee, what's wrong, aren't you going slow for your taste?" Jack asked and felt on his body that she had picked up a little but not much. "Arcee?" he addressed her.

"I'm just going carefully Jack, the road is wet and cold and my wheels aren't built for it" Arcee replied. "And most importantly, I don't want you to get hurt before Christmas" she added and Jack resigned himself to a slow and leisurely ride.

When they got home and Arcee pulled into the garage, Jack got out of her and put his hand on her tank. "Is something wrong?" Arcee asked, his hand resting there for a long time and looking as if he was lost in thought.

"I…no nothing's wrong, everything's fine" Jack said as he came out of his trance and put his hand down. He saw Arcee transform and look at him with a look that asked him once again what was wrong. "Nothing really, just thinking" Jack replied.

"And what are you thinking about, partner?" Arcee asked him. She saw him look down and scratch the back of his neck. She smiled, "Miko, right?" Arcee asked, and he nodded. "If you like her, tell her and don't wait," she said.

"I wish it was that easy," he replied, and with that he left the garage, leaving Arcee alone. Arcee reverted back to her motorcycle form and planned to have another conversation with someone, but it turned out that neither of them had the energy to talk and they both fell asleep.

Jack lay down in bed, thinking about what Miko had said today. Honestly, he too wished for a Christmas miracle to happen for a moment.
