3. You Show Duel School

Having been riding around the city for several minutes in search of something Red finally finally finds the place she's been searching for a strange looking building named You Show Duel School

"Are you sure this is the place Judai? It looks weird"

Judai appears next to her in spirit form "Of course I'm sure just go inside and you'll see!"

Red is sceptical but trusts the redheaded boy so she gets off of the runner takes off her helmet and replaces it with her trademark hat and Judai's customised Duel Academy duel disk from the compartment under the seat of the duel runner she then heads inside the school

Walking through the halls red enters a larger main room where several people are sitting "Excuse me"

The group turn to her and two of them recognise her specifically the girl with pink hair and boy with green and red hair from last night

The girl seems surprised at red's appearance here "It's you!"

"Oh hey there Yuzu right? How are you doing after last night?"

"You know this girl yuzu?" The one who spoke is an adult with brown hair

Yuzu nods "Yeah she dueled the yuya lookalike last night in the warehouse"

Red gives a wave "That's me. It's quite the coincidence that we meet again"

"What are you doing here?" Yuya's as cheery as always

"Well a friend of mine recommended You Show to me because i wanted to learn about entertainment dueling so i came to visit in hopes of joining the school"

"Really!? We'd love to have you sign up!" This adult man seems quite excited by the prospect of red joining You Show

The man starts scrambling around to find paperwork "Sorry what did you say your name was again?"

Red gives the man and students a smile "It's Red, Red Yukido nice to meet you all. I hope we can have some fun dueling"

The red and green haired boy proceeds to hop over to Red "Why not duel right now there's no better way to get to know someone than a duel"

"Couldn't have said it better myself so get your game on Yuya"

Yuya laughs excitedly and grabs Red's arm pulling her into the dueling room "Have you ever had an action duel before Yukido-san?"

Red shakes her head "Nope can't say i have but I'm excited to have one" Red activates her duel disk and inserts Judai's hero deck "Lets rock it!"

"Yeah! Let's get this thing started" The other students perform the action duel chant and mr Hiiragi activates the action field Clock Tower

Judai chuckles "Now this is a blast from the past"

"I'll be taking the first turn if you dont mind" Red draws her five cards "And I'll start of by summoning Elemental HERO Stratos in Attack mode!"

Watching the duel Sora looks almost afraid upon seeing Stratos appear 'Why the hell does she have cards like him?!'

"When Stratos is summoned i can add another HERO from my deck to my hand and i choose Blazeman" Said hero pops out of the deck and red grabs it before the deck shuffles "I'll now set one card face down and end my turn. You're up Yuya"

"Alrighty then I'll be sure to entertain you! I draw" Yuya draws his extra card "I'll start this turn off by summoning Performapal Whip Snake in attack mode!"

"Let's go whip snake attack Elemental HERO Stratos" The snake springs forward. As it does Yuya grabs an action card and uses it "Action card Attack Force go. When a monster i control battles an opponent's monster with more attack my monster gains 600 attack points"

The snake monster hits Stratos destroying it "I activate my trap Hero Counterattack!"

"When an Elemental HERO monster i control is destroyed in battle you choose one card at random from my hand and i reveal it. If it's an Elemental HERO monster i get to destroy a monster you control then summon that hero" Red holds up the four cards in her hand

"I pick the second card on the right" Yuya points to the second card on the left of Red's hand

"Alright then" Red reveals the card and it's Elemental HERO Blazeman "Guess i got lucky" whip snake gets destroyed and red summons Blazeman in defence mode

"When Blazeman is summoned i can add Polymerization to my hand" said spell is grabbed by red

Outside the duel room Yuzu gasps 'Polymerization? I thought she was a Synchro duelest'

"You're a fusion duelist? That's so cool!" Yuya is basically vibrating in excitement "let me see what you're going to do" yuya ends his turn

"Sure thing" Red draws her card for turn "I activate Blazeman's other effect. By sending a hero to the graveyard Blazeman's attribute, attack and defense become the same as that monster I'll be sending Elemental HERO Necroshade"

"And for my last trick I'll activate Polymerization to fuse Blazeman from the field and Avian from my hand together. Dark warrior who attacks from the shadows in a world of light! Bring hope to a battlefield riddled with fear! Fusion Summon!" Red clasps her hands together "Appear from the darkness! Elemental HERO Escuridao!"

"Elemental HERO Escuridao gains 100 attack points for each elemental hero in the graveyard and i count three"

Yuya looks at the fusion monster with stars in his eyes "That was so cool!"

"I'm glad you think so Yuya because now you're going to see exactly what it can do. Battle, Escuridao attack his whip snake!" Escuridao extends his blade had to slash at whip snake

Yuya looks for and grabs an action card at a quite frankly insane speed "Action card Big Escape. I end the battle phase"

Red unintentionally scoffs at this "Main phase two. I normal summon Elemental HERO Liquidman!"

"When Liquidman is normal summoned i can bring back an Elemental HERO from the graveyard so I'll do just that and bring back Blazeman allowing me to add Polymerization to my hand once again however it won't be sticking around for long because I'll be using it to fuse Liquidman and Blazeman into a new Elemental HERO!" Red activates the fusion spell and the two heroes begin to combine "On this dark day the world begs for a new hope. Rise like the dawn and deliver this world from all villainy. Overcome all odds! Fusion Summon! Come forth Elemental HERO Sunrise!"

Everyone is awed by this new monster and it's shining glory "Sunrise gains two hundred attack for each different attribute on the field and when it's special summoned i can add Miracle Fusion to my hand from the deck"

Red smirks "With that i end my turn"

Yuya draws for the start of his turn and looks at the card he got with a wide smile "Well everyone it's time to show Yukido-san exactly what i can do!"

Everyone minus red realises what he means and the younger students start chanting Pendulum "I use Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician to set the pendulum scale. I'm taking control of this duel starting now!"

Red feigns confused at the two pendulum monsters "What are you planning Yuya?"

"Let me show you just that" Yuya raises his arms "Now that I've set the pendulum scale i can summon monsters level 2 through 10 all at the same time! Swing forth pendulum carve the arc of victory!" Three monsters appear "Help me out Performapal Swordfish, come on down Performapal Silver Claw, show her what for Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon

Yuya smiles "Thanks but I'm not done yet because for my next trick my swordfish will drop your heroes attack by 600"

"After that i activate Wonder baloons from my hand" Yuya picks up another action card then discards it "By sending a card from my hand to the graveyard i can place a balloon counter on this card and for every balloon on this card your monsters loose 300 attack points!" Baloons cover the two heroes in different places

Red smiles widely "Not bad yuya but the duel isn't over until lifepoints hit zero so come at me with everything you've got!"

"Alright then i will, Odd-Eyes attack Elemental HERO Escuridao. Spiral Flame Strike!" Yuya points at the black hero

"You should read Yuya. When an attack is declared involving another HERO i control i can destroy 1 card on the field and i choose wonder baloons!" The baloons covering Red's monsters pop returning it's attack

"Now it's Silver Claw's time to shine. Go on and attack Elemental HERO Sunrise! And thanks to his effect all of my Performapals gain three hundred attack points until the end of the battle phase"

The wolf tears it's claws into Sunrise destroying both of them

"Don't think i left out whip snake and swordfish though especially because whip snake is attacking you directly" At Yuya's command the snake monster springs forward and headbutts Red

"Now go ahead and show her who's boss swordfish" Performapal Swordfish flies straight at Red spiking her in the chest before swimming back to yuya

Yuya takes a bow "And with that my turn is done"

Red is genuinely enjoying this duel and it shows in her responses "Not bad yuya but I'm going to end this im afraid. I draw" Red smiles upon seeing what the card she got is "First up i use the effect of Elemental HERO Necroshade in the graveyard. I can now normal summon a hero monster without tributing so welcome my good friend and ace to the field Elemental HERO Neos!"

Neos looks at Red and gives an approving nod "Next i activate Miracle Fusion! With this spell i can fusion summon an Elemental HERO using cards in my graveyard"

"It lets you fuse from the graveyard!" Yuya along with everyone else is definitely shocked by this

Red smirks "It sure does. I fuse Elemental HERO Stratos, Blazeman, Necroshade, Liquidman, Escuridao and Sunrise." All of the mentioned monsters begin appearing "From the depths of the deck, rise and shine! Elemental Heroes, unite your might! With the power of fusion, awaken and fight! Fusion Summon! Wake Up Your Elemental HERO!" Judai in a hero costume appears surrounded by ghostly versions of the heroes used to summon him

Stratos's phantom launches first while Yuya scrambles to find an action card "Action card Miracle, go! Odd eyes isn't destroyed and any damage i would take is halfed"

"True but you still take damage" the Stratos phantom hits Odd-Eyes directly

Yuya LP: 4000 - 3250

"Now wake up attack Odd-Eyes again!" This time Blazeman is sent out and yuya responds with Action card

Wake up hits odd eyes again before yuya can find an action card

Yuya LP 3250 - 1750

"Another hit please wake up this time on Swordfish" Liquidman is sent out to attack

"Action Card Evasion!" Yuya calls activating another action card

"Keep going Wake up" Escuridao is sent next

"Action card... Yuya didn't grab an action card he grabbed a random action trap that explodes taking 50 LP allowing Wake up

Yuya LP 1750 - 0

Red goes over and offers her hand to Yuya "Well played Yuya you had me on the ropes for a minute"

Yuya takes her hand and proceeds to go all fanboy as the two leave the room

Meanwhile in his control room Akaba Reiji had been watching the entire duel his curiosity towards this Vagabond growing more and more
