Author Note -
Yes Contrary to the claims, I am alive. I'm doing this note to address a comment I saw when returning calling me a quitter on this story. As I did state in the beginning, I plan to write all the original 6 seasons and the 2 Reboots with this cast, that has not changed. But I am also a final year university student, and post end of October I have been shrouded in work, and submitted my last piece of work a few days prior to writing this. I am glad you guys enjoy this story enough to want an update that much! I take it honestly as a compliment and this isn't raging, just an understanding of why it has taken a while to continue this story. Adding to that, this story is more than double the time it takes to write my other ones so try to understand. But thankfully my workload is decreasing from now on so the upload schedule should be better, and only a month or so behind when I originally planned to finish this. Now, sorry for boring you with this and let's move onto Episode 16!
The Storyteller993 - Yep, Izzy comes back just like in canon purely because why not, and I felt I didn't do enough of her in the beginning. Max returning? Was also always planned but I did intend to have 3 returnees as I stated.
WarriorTwin - Glad your favourites are doing better than expected! And yes Eva bites the dust, but in a way that is probably a lot better for her character going into future seasons, a lot of the pre merge/early merge eliminations are setting up future groundwork which I reallyyyy look forward to writing :)
WeirdAlFan101 - Glad Eva's elimination wasn't too upsetting and you saw what I was going for! I wonder who you thought was originally returning instead of Max?

"Last time on Total Drama Island..." Chris began from the dock, "the teams we're dissolved! Leaving each and every camper to look out for number one! And just to add a little more drama to the mix, Izzy and Max returned for more fun! The campers were made to suffer all manner of abuse in the No Pain, No Game challenge! In an act cruelty, Eva targeted Courtney to endure the perils of the leech barrels, and in a death display of log rolling, a grizzly got a piranha haircut winning the nice Indie Chick Zoey invincibility, and a new edge against her fellow campers! In the end, it was Eva who walked down the dock of shame as everyone realised she's way too dangerous to keep in the competition. Now that the campers are forced to fend for themselves who will be selfless? Who will be selfish? And who will eat shellfish? Stay tuned for the most thrilling episode yet on Total...Drama...Island!"

(Fade to Episode)
The episode opened to a nature shot of the forest, as a squirrel in tighty-whities exited a hole in a tree, going onto a branch with tired eyes holding a small cup of coffee. It gave an adorable little yawn as it scratched its backside. A bird flew over, as the camera followed it to Zoey's trailer, as she opened the door, hitting the bird to the side, she gasped and looked over. "Oh, sorry!" She said, as she walked down the steps.
The camera flashed to show some clothes on the dock, as Damien and Cody pulled themselves up from the water. The Geek gave a toothy grin to somewhere off camera, as it quickly panned over to show Dawn and Priya under a tree lightly waving and giggling back. As Damien waved, Priya blushed slightly.
"Are you ever going to tell him?" Dawn suddenly asked.
"Wh-Wha-Damien? No, no!" Priya quickly defended.
"Interesting, I didn't say a name." Dawn teased, as Priya sighed in defeat.
"I never really had time to be interested in guys, with all the y'know, reality show TV star preparation." Priya explained.
"Well I'm a big believer in getting things off your chest, in your own time of course." Dawn added, as Priya gave a small halfhearted smile.

"Okay, so maybe, just maybe, I have a thing for Damien, but that's a big maybe!" Priya confessed. "I did try to ignore it and focus on the game but he's just so...well...Damien." She mused, as she suddenly shook her head and slapped herself.

The camera returned to Chris lighting a cannon, which hit Zoey's trailer. The girl was relaxing on a chair before being startled awake at the sudden noise, looking in shock at what occured.
"Arr maties!" Chris said as the camera panned back to him with a horrible pirate impression. "Meet me at the amphitheatre in five minute and I'll tell you about today's challenge.
The camera flashed once more to the amphitheatre as the contestants gathered, Zoey looking rather disappointed as she took a seat next to Dawn who glanced at her momentarily.
"What happened?" She asked.
"Chris happened." Zoey sulked.
Scott took a seat next to Cody, and glanced around, smiling to himself slightly.

"Huh, so even with the teams being done, everyone's still sitting where you'd expect. I guess now's a good time as any to start picking off those Gophers and even things up a little. Even better with that little geek on my side." He finished confessing with a chuckle.

"Well my little scallywags, have we got an adventure in store for ye!" Chris announced, in the same pirate voice as his fake parrot slightly dropped on his shoulder.
"Hooray..." Courtney eye-rolled.
"So what's under the sheet then?" Cody asked, as Chris put his parrot back in place.
"All in good time laddy! Who here has a hankering for a good old fashioned treasure hunt!?" The camera cut to the campers who watched on in silence, as he continued anyway. "Now this treasure hunt has a twist mateys! What your lookin for isn't hidden, and it isn't treasure!"
"So the costume is just...a choice thing?" Priya asked, with a confused expression.
"How can we have a treasure hunt with no treasure?" Damien added.
"Arr, shiver me timbers!" Chris said, as he threw away his fake parrot. "Good question me boy! You're looking for keys to a treasure chest!" As he finished, Chef pulled back the sheet revealing the treasure chests as they sparkled. "Inside each of these chests is a treasure that'll pamper you land lubbers! And one of these chests will give you invincibility!" Chris finished with a chuckle, his pirate voice slightly losing itself.
"Sweet." Zee commented, with a soda sip.
"Now come round and pull a clue out of this bucket! Or you'll have to walk the plank!"
"By plank do you mean Dock of Shame?" Scott asked with a smug grin.
"Just pull a clue out of the bucket, okay man?" Chris said, with an annoyed look completely dropping the pirate voice now.
The camera flashed to the bucket, as eleven hands grabbed a clue, and the campers now on the stage looked at them. "These clues will tell ye where your key be stowed!"
"Seriously?" Chase commented as the camera cut to him in surprise. "A bear!?"
"Was hoping you or Damien would get that one dude. Chef's fridge? Nice. I hear he brushes it daily for fingerprints." He told a now increasingly nervous Courtney as a dramatic chord struck.
"That there is a sceptic tank for the washrooms!" He told a confused Zee as he appeared into the shot of him and Zoey looking at theirs.
"Now go ye scallywags! Find your keys, and bring them back by six PM Eastern Standard Time!" Chris announced, back in the pirate accent as the camera flashed, and he pointed at his watch. "To open up the chest, and get your loot!" He said as the camera flashed again, once more. "Fare thee well scallywags! Now get to it!"

"Another painful challenge I'm expected to get through." Courtney confessed. "But one more elimination means I'm one step closer to winning!"

"A treasure hunt? Okay now that's pretty awesome." Zee confessed. "No idea how I'm getting into the sceptic tank though." He scratched his head a little as he looked away from the camera.

The camera returned to show a key hanging on a pole in the water, as it was being circled by sharks. "Scott's first challenge is to grab his key from from the man-eating shark infested lake." Chris commented on a voice over, as Scott gulped nervously. Cody walked into the shop, tapping his chin before walking off. He came back holding a three fish, which he threw off camera into the water as the sharks followed. Scott jumped into the water, as he managed to return with his key.
"Close one...thanks." Scott took a sigh of relief, as Cody looked rather smug with himself.
"You think you can help me with mine now?" Cody asked.
"Ehh...I would but I gotta...you know." Scott said, as he began walking off camera and Cody looked rather confused, following him.
The camera flashed to show one of the campers holding the board with a picture of a fridge on a key, as Courtney looked on in nervousness. "Courtney must retriever her key from inside Chef's bank vault of a fridge without getting caught." Chris narrated. Courtney snuck into the kitchen, slowly opening the door, only to see Chef in the fridge holding a cleaver. She slowly closed the fridge, and walked out with widened eyes.
The camera flashed to show Priya behind a tree, as she watched the small skunk cave. She grabbed her nose as a skunk came out, and groaned. "Everything alright?" Damien asked.
"No! I trained for a lot but not getting past skunks." Priya explained.
"Damn, I wish I had your one, its way easier then figuring out how I'm going to get past the alligators." Damien looked away, scratching his head.
"Really? Easier how?"
"Well skunks normally hide in small abandoned little burrows, and cause its small you just gotta force it out with like water or something." Damien explained.
"Oh, that might actually work! Thanks Damien!" Priya said before running off.
"Ha, don't mention it..." Damien watched her run off with a slight smile, before stopping and grabbing his nose. "Man that reeks..."
The camera flashed once more to show Courtney looking through the window to see Chef sleeping by the table in the kitchen. She slowly opened the window, and climbed in over the sink. She got up and tiptoed over to the fridge, grabbing the key which was next to a block of cheese. As she made her way out, she paused as she accidentally kicked over a pot with her elbow and gasped. Chef woke up, turning and eyeing the girl in anger, as she screamed and quickly ran off. Once in the woods, she took the key out of her pocket. "Yes!"
The scene returned to Damien resting by a tree, when Priya appeared back in the shot out of breath holding a bucket mostly filled with water. "Okay, lets do this!" She excitedly said.
"Woah, careful!" Damien grabbed the bucket, their hands briefly touching cause him to blush and look away, before clearing his throat. "A-Anyway! On the count of three...one...two...three!" On three they poured the water into the little burrow causing the skunk to wash out. Priya didn't hesitate and quickly knelt down to put her hand through.
"Almost...Got it!" She squealed, as she held up her key. "Thanks Damien!" She said pulling him in for a hug. The pair enjoyed their moment before looking into each others eyes, and going in for a kiss.
The camera frizzled as Chris narrated over the moment. "Aw, what a heart-warming and trustworthy moment! I sure hope no one walks in and witnesses this ruining it for them both, now that would be terrible!"
The camera returned to normal, as the pair walked away, both blushing, before panning outwards to show Cody witnessing this behind a tree. "No way...Damien got more play then I did this season!"
"What are you yelling about?" Scott groaned as he walked into view.
"Oh, nothing much, just saw Priya and Damien finally kiss." Cody casually told him.
"Really? Didn't think he'd have the guts to pull it off." Scott mused. "Why don't I go help you with your task after all, say Cody?"
"Well...sure I guess." Cody narrowed his eyes, as Scott followed him.

"So Damien and Priya finally got it going on huh?" Scott casually confessed. "Seems having Cody as my only ally isn't enough, guess I gotta start making moves on that purple idiot and the crazy girl."

The scene returned to a ring of fire at the campfire pit, as Zoey eyed her board. She got into a readied stance, before running and perfectly vaulting through the ring, holding up her key. "Awesome!" She said to herself, as she got up and jogged on.
"Zoey's surprising new abilities help her ease through her challenge!" Chris narrated in a whispered voice.

"I actually might be more capable than I thought!" Zoey eagerly told the outhouse. "Winning the last challenge has made me realise I might actually be able to win this thing, oh if that's okay with everyone else though." She quickly waved her hands in front.

The scene returned to Max standing at the foot of a tree with his arms crossed. "Whilst Max seems a little out of his league..." The host narrated over it.
"Cursed tree, hand my key to me this instant!" Max shook his fist angrily, as he kicked the tree, before yelping in pain and grabbing the heel of his foot. The camera cut to a woodpecker, who just looked at this and shrugged at the camera.
"Hey, Max." Scott said as he walked into the shot.
"What does your commoner self want from me?" He shot back.
"Woah, I just wanted to see if you were interested in allying with me for the merge." Scott put his hands in front of himself defensively, with a smirk. "So, what do you say?"
"Hmmm..." Max thought briefly. "I could always use an underling or two, if you're willing to serve."
Scott blankly stared at him. "Sure?"
"Good, now, help me with this arbitrary task and grab that key!" He yelled at Scott, before breaking out into a laugh.
The Dirt Farmer groaned, as he began to slowly climb the tree.

"It was only a matter of time before someone bowed down and began to see me as their leader." Max confidently confessed. "The evil I will now begin to bestow upon this island shall be inevitable!"

The scene returned to Zee in the communal washrooms, looking over the bathroom as a stink line went over it. The boy eyed his key, before shrugging and putting his hand in the toilet.
"Wow...that's just...wow..." Chris narrated.
The camera flashed to Cody eyeing the beehive with Scott standing beside him. Izzy walked into the frame and looked at Cody's board. She put her hand in front of him and walked up to the beehive off camera. As a few angry bees were heard, Scott and Cody cringed as they watched on, before Izzy returned now covered in bees holding the key. Cody screamed and ran as the bees chased him into the water, and Scott laughed.
"Not bad crazy girl." Scott told her.
"Ah, it was nothing, the bees and I get along great here!" She replied as she walked off. Scott shook his head and followed. The camera cut to Cody climbing onto the dock as Scott and Izzy joined him.
"So, now that you've completed yours, we need to talk about tonight's potential vote." He narrowed his eyes at the Geek.
The camera flashed to show a chalice with a key symbol on a rock in the water, before panning upwards to show Damien standing on broken boards, as the alligators snapped up at him.
"Really Chris, really!?" He yelled.
The scene returned to Cody and Scott hanging out by the cabin, alongside Max and Izzy.
"Wait, you want us to do what!?" Cody yelled suddenly, as Scott put his hand over his mouth, before looking around.
"You gotta think about this long term, how else would we beat them?" Scott tried to reason, as he took his hand off of Cody.
"Hmm, you seem to be giving a lot of orders for a minion." Max raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms.
Scott looked rather dejected momentarily, before shifting his tune to a conniving smile. "Y'know, it would take an really evil genius to pull off a blindside like this." He casually suggested.
Max beamed, and changed his expression. "Oh, yes, it would be!" He rubbed his hands.
"Hmm, what the hey, I'm in!" Izzy randomly shrugged.
"Well, what about you?" Scott turned to Cody, who squirmed.
"Um-well...I don't know..." He sighed.
"Just remember, you owe me." Scott leaned in and whispered, before leaving walking away, Cody sighed, and Izzy and Max went their separate ways.
The camera flashed, and the scene changed to the bear cave, and Chase slowly crept in. The camera closed in on the bear, sleeping as it had the key around its neck. Chase crouched, and slowly attempted to reach for the key, before the bear yawned, and pulled Chase in, as it continued resting.
"Well. great. That's just great." The Prank Artist whispered in annoyance.
The scene flashed once more to the inside of the the girls side of the cabin, as Priya excitedly squealed, Zoey walking in behind. "Woah, what's got you all excited?" She asked.
"Damien and I...we kissed!" She told her
"No way!? Really!?" Zoey suddenly gasped in shock, before smiling and hugging Priya.
"I know, he was really sweet with the challenge stuff, then it just happened!"
"That's amazing! I'm going to go bring Dawn!" Zoey said, as she ran outside of the cabin. As the camera cut to Zoey running outside of the cabin, she ran into Courtney.
"Jeez, do you have to be in such a rush?" The CIT glared at the Indie Chick briefly.
"Oh, sorry Courtney! It's just good news!" She told her.
"What?" She changed her tune, and put her hands on her hips.
"Okay...don't tell anyone but Damien and Priya kissed." Zoey said, leaning in to tell Courtney.
"Wow...I didn't think he'd have the guts to do it." Courtney stated, in genuine surprise.
"I know right! I was going to get Dawn and we we're going to have a big girls chat about it, well at least that's what I think girls do in this type of situation." Zoey said.
Courtney just smiled briefly. "I wouldn't know either, but yes I'd love to join you guys too." She said, as she followed Zoey.

"Ah, it feels good to be back in with the crowd. If only Chase would forgive me then I wouldn't have to have such a giant target on my back." Courtney confessed.

"Okay, that bathroom is super gross man." Zee started in the confessional, as a stink line appeared over him. "At least I got the key though!" Zee smiled, as he held it up.

The scene returned to the bonfire pit, as Zee held up his key, sitting next to Scott and Priya. "What? Do I have something in my hair?" He innocently said, as he noticed the weird looks they gave him.
"Yeah...sure...that's the problem." Scott retorted as the camera panned out showing everyone else having grossed out looks.
"Hey guys!" Woo, what stinks?" Izzy said as she walked into the shot, covered by a python and having a red eye.
"Izzy, you know there's a snake on your head right?" Damien suddenly said.
"I know! But don't worry, he's friendly!" She eased him off, as the snake suddenly bit into her head, causing the others to gasp. "See? Kisses!" Before she suddenly fell and hit the ground.
"Yarr, it be time to claim your treasure!" The camera cut to Chris standing by the chests, back to his awful pirate accent. "Those fortunate enough to bear your precious key, come forth with it!" He motioned to the twelve treasure chests, as the campers slowly approached.
The first key was opened by Courtney, who looked down in disappointment as she picked up a bag of chips, and a candy bar. "How exactly is this treasure?" She glared at the host, who simply sent two finger pistols her way and nodded.
The camera flashed to Chase attempting to open a chest, and eventually looking frustrated. "Okay, whats the deal? None of these chests are opening!" He complained.
"Oh, yeah..." Chris lightly said before chuckling. "I forgot to mention that some of the keys don't open up any chests."
The camera panned out to show Chase in a bear's mouth. "Seriously!? Can you at least get me out of here!?" Suddenly two tranquilizers were shot, hitting Chase and the bear respectively causing both to thud to the ground.
The camera flashed as Dawn, who had a rabbit in one hand, held up a toaster, and Priya pulled out a gift basket, containing shampoo's and conditioners, with an invincibility pass. "Oh, does this mean I win immunity?" She asked the host who nodded.
"Nice one." Damien told her, as Scott looked annoyed.

"That's just...great." Scott groaned. "Well, time for plan B."

Scott held up two empty bottles with an eyebrow, as Max had a lamp and Zoey had an accordion. The camera flashed to Zee, who pulled out cologne. "What the...body spray?"
"Will do wonders for that foul stench bro!" Chris told him off camera.
"So I made myself reek, just for cologne!? Awesome!" The Pothead chuckled, as he walked off camera.
"Man, that guy is too positive." Zoey smiled, as Dawn nodded.
As the camera flashed, it panned by the contestants holding their treasures, except for Damien and Chase, as Chris narrated. "I hope everyone got the treasure they were looking for, and more! But now it's time to do your duty, and send one of you off the island for good. So cast your votes," He suddenly pointed at them and went into a pirate accent again. "and I'll see you buccaneers back at the campfire after sundown! Arrrrgh!"

"Okay, so Priya's immune, but we prepared for this." Scott smiled in the confessional.

"This is going to be so evil!" Max chuckled evilly.

"Oh man...I don't know what to do..." Cody groaned.

"It's going to be hard to vote anybody off, I feel like I've made a lot of friends here..." Priya confessed.

Chase just started at the camera, with his eyes twitching and biting his lip.

The camera flashed and showed it was now nighttime, with the campers at the bonfire ceremony. "And now the moment we've all been waiting for. The moment of truth. Marshmallow time! You know the routine! Whoever doesn't get a marshmallow, its curtains for you!" Chris dramatically went to pick up the first marshmallow, as Chase, Courtney, and Cody all looked rather nervous.
"Chase, Zee, Courtney, Scott, Priya, Zoey, Dawn, Izzy, Cody, Max, marshmallows for the lot of you!" Damien suddenly looked around in surprise, as the camera panned to Chris' empty plate. "Sorry dude, you're out." Chris told him, with a sad expression.
"But I though-why me!?" Damien said, suddenly turning to everyone.
"I'm just as surprised as you are!" Zoey stated in shock, as Cody looked away and Scott smiled to himself.
"No, but we just finally had our moment! You can't go home now!" Priya said, as she suddenly went up to him.
"It's okay, I didn't think I'd win a show like this anyway, I made it a lot further than I thought. And at least I left here with something." Damien said, as Priya blushed. The two went in, before Chris suddenly appeared in between them.
"Damien! You have an appointment at the Dock of Shame! And a ticket for the Boat of Losers! Let's go!"
The camera flashed to Damien with his bags on the boat, waving goodbye. The camera cut to the dock as Priya, Zoey, Cody and Dawn all saw him off, Priya resting her head into Zoey's lap. Cody looked down, as Dawn eyed him suspiciously, before leaving.

"What have I done..." Cody rested his hands in his head, as he mumbled to himself.

Author Note - Yeah..so it's finally out, and this is definitely a sadder episode. Another big pre merge protagonist bites the dust, and I hope I got a few of you with the switch out because be honest, I'm sure most of you assumed Scott would rather eliminate Priya over Damien, huh?
Cody made his choice, and let's see how it affects the rest of the season, shall we? I'm enjoying the way I'm writing Scott and I hope you guys are too! If this felt fast paced I apologise, but it was just genuinely more in theme with the fast pace of the challenge and the traditional episode, so I stuck with it. But yeah, sadly my 2nd favourite character left in the competition is out, but at least PriyaxDamien is finally official!
