Scene 4 - The Musical Garden
Ryan asks Ranger Rabbit when he'll get his explorer's hat. Ranger says that he'll get it soon, but that now he should focus on the adventure. They then arrive at the Animal Town National Park and Ranger leads them to an area full of seedlings. Elinor explains to Ryan that this is a "musical garden", named such because the flowers in the garden resemble musical instruments. Not only that, but they also need music to grow! Ranger challenges the kids to find ways to make music in the forest. Ryan is very excited about this, seeing as he is a music maker and sound designer himself! He then sings a song that he made about the music of nature, called "Forest Sounds." Which goes like this…
In the forest you will hear, It's music to your ears!

The frogs in the pond go
"Croak croak croak!"
The birds in the sky go

Animal Town is a musical place!

Ranger and all the other kids really like this song. Then, Ryan reveals that he bought instruments for everyone to play that resemble the sounds mentioned in the song (A guiro for a frog, a whistle for a bird, a wood block for a woodpecker, a splash cymbal for water, a shaker for the trees, and of course, the train whistle!) Ryan gives each of the kids an instrument, and they all sing the song together. Afterwards, the flowers in the garden finally bloom! Ranger congratulates Ryan for this idea, and the kids all admire the flowers. There are made-up flowers resembling instruments (sax oaks, bongoniums, xylo-dils, and trumpeting tulips.) Olive states that she likes the trumpeting tulips the best, although it might be because she's an elephant! This makes everyone laugh.
