WARNING: If you are likely confused about events that have happened in this fanfiction that didn't happen in canon, that's likely because this isn't following canon, but another story I made called 'Oh Rhonda!'. So, be wary of this fact when you read the story! If you haven't read the first 'Oh Rhonda!', please do so if possible so that you can understand what's going on. Otherwise, continue to enjoy the story!
All right, another new chapter of Arc 9 of Oh Rhonda is now being released! I know I'm going back and forth, but I think I have a good idea on what to do for this chapter! Let's see what we can cook up this time, shall we? Anyway, enjoy!
ROUND FIVE
ALL PLAYERS COMPETE
CHALLENGE... PLAY A ROUND OF 'PROVE IT'!
A few moments later, everyone was gathered around as Miles gave a nod. "Okay, this is an interesting dare requiring EVERYBODY to play..."
"Awww, all of us have to participate? That's lame!" Harold complained.
"I don't know, man. Personally, I think having all of us playing the same game could help eliminate a lot of players." Lorenzo pointed out. "It could also potentially bring back players as well."
"Which is why I'm going to be having a second shot." Olga nodded. "That Sonic dare was NOT my cup of tea, but I think I can play this game pretty well."
"So, you know what this game is?" Rhonda asked as she and the others turned to Olga in curiosity.
"Yep." Olga nodded as she opened up the board game that Carver brought as he set up the cards and the strange timer with the weird cartoon character on the stand. "Basically, you draw a card from the deck, and you have to tell a random person you pick if you can ask how many things they can name based on what the card says, or bet a time limit on what the card instructs you as well. If you can do it, you win a point. If you can't... well, you're out of luck there."
"Well, that does sound like fun." Arnold smiled as all the kids nodded. "I'm down for a round!"
"Oh, for SURE!" Bucky grinned as he was seen shuffling his hands... paws? "I've been a good expert on this type of game for a while..."
"Prove it." Curly smirked.
Bucky and Pudding stayed silent as they turned to Curly with a glare as Bucky pointed to the game box. "It is LITERALLY on the box, Curly!"
"Yeah, can't you read?!" Pudding frowned as she crossed her arms. "Woooooowwww... you certainly have no idea how to work the game, na no da."
"No, no, I know how the game works, I was just making a joke!" Curly groaned as he held his head.
Sid frowned a bit as he glared at the three, but paused as he noticed the hat nearby. He quickly organized a plan in his head, before inching himself closer to the hat.
Stella gave a nod as she turned to Olga. "Well, Olga, since you know the game, why don't you draw first, and say the person who you want to bet on."
"Okay, okay... Rhonda?" Olga asked as she drew a card.
The former rich girl looked up to her mother figure in curiosity as Olga read the card. "Bet how many ice cream flavors you can name in twenty seconds."
Rhonda's eyes lit up. "Ohhhhh, this is interesting."
"Awwww, I wanted that question!" Harold complained.
Rhonda paused to think as she tapped her fingers. "Okay, well... I think I can name forty flavors."
Olga shook her head in shock as Arnold and the other kids looked at her in bewilderment. Arnold raised an eyebrow as he asked, "I'm sorry, FORTY flavors?"
"Uh, yeah? Why is that surprising? I mean, it's ice cream, I'm pretty sure there's a LOT of flavors." Rhonda asked.
"Okay, well... it's going to be two guesses a second. Are you sure you can do this?" Olga asked.
"Yeah, I'm confident." Rhonda smiled.
"Well, I'll be." Stinky said as he crossed his arms. "There goes either the smartest girl, or the dumbest one."
"With Rhonda, you're never too sure." Phoebe agreed with a heavy sigh.
Olga looked at her daughter-figure with an unsure look on her face before turning the timer. "Okay... timer starts... now!"
"Okay! Uh, vanilla, french vanilla, chocolate, peanut butter and chocolate, strawberry, strawberry sorbet..." Rhonda started listing the flavors as everybody watched.
Phoebe blinked twice as she noted Rhonda was putting in variations of different flavors. "Rhonda, you're repeating flav-"
"Neopolitan, vanilla-chocolate twist cone-" Rhonda started to say, before pausing. "Uh, um..."
"Rhonda, those are the same fla-" Phoebe started to say.
"Ben and Jerry's! Perry's! Mr. Fudgie Bar! Breyer's! Blue Bell!" Rhonda started.
"You're naming ice cream companies!" The smart girl groaned as she slapped her forehead.
"Uh, uh... Baskin-Robbins! MnM McFlurries! Oreo McFlurries!" The rich girl tapped her forehead as everyone gave a groan.
"Now you're just naming fast food!" Nadine complained.
"Come on, Rhonda!" Harold shouted as everyone voiced their negative opinions.
"Vanilla Frosty, Chocolate Frosty..." Rhonda continued to list.
"Oh my God, Rhonda!" Curly complained as he slapped his forehead multiple times.
The rich girl groaned as she tapped her head as she tried to think. "What's the next one, what's the next one..."
Olga paused as she looked over and noticed the timer had stopped. "Sorry, Rhonda, you're out of time."
Rhonda paused, before sighing. "That's fine, I couldn't think of any more." She then turned to her boyfriend with a smile. "But I bet I got a lot in there!"
"Uhhhh... not really." Arnold shook his head. "All you did was repeat flavors."
"No, no, they're all legit flavors." The beautiful girl shook her head.
Phoebe could only slam her forehead in annoyance. "Rhonda, you also named things that WEREN'T ice cream flavors!"
"I know, girl!" Gerald complained as the young man shook his head. "I mean, Baskin-Robbins? REALLY?!"
"Says the guy that kept pronouncing 'Slausen's' as 'Sloshes' for a week." Rhonda pointed out.
Gerald blushed in embarrassment as Arnold gave a chuckle. "I don't know where you got Sloshes from that week."
"No, I definitely said Slausen's. You just have very bad hearing!" Gerald crossed his arms, turning his head.
"Someone's in denial...~" Rhonda sang as everyone started to chuckle.
Olga coughed as everyone turned to her as she gave a shrug. "Regardless, sorry, Rhonda, you didn't name all the flavors, but at least you tried. And you were pretty, uh... creative, in your answers."
"Soooo... do I get anything?" Rhonda asked as she flashed a sweet, innocent smile.
"I don't think you even should, considering you didn't even MEET the requirements." Phoebe groaned in frustration, with everyone agreeing.
Arnold shook his head as he patted Rhonda's back. "I'd say no, but you were on a roll so I couldn't stop you."
"All right, Rhonda, you're going next, and you're going to pick someone else out of the group." Olga instructed as she gave Rhonda another card. "Who are you picking?"
Rhonda paused for a brief moment as she looked around the room, though she couldn't help but notice Sid seemed to be inching himself pretty close. She ignored it, however, as her eyes fell upon... "Lila, here's something. Bet how many states you can name in under twenty seconds."
"All right, sounds reasonable... uh, I could name twelve." Lila said.
"Twelve... uh, I bet you can name thirteen." Rhonda argued.
"Fourteen." Lila said.
"Twenty states." Rhonda said.
Everybody rolled their eyes as Stella checked her watch. "This could take some time..."
Some time had passed, and after Lila had successfully named twenty states in twenty seconds (much to Rhonda's chagrin), she challenged Stinky to do a small challenge involving a small hoop in the game in under thirty seconds, and then Stinky challenged Tucker to name some sports teams in under twenty seconds (which he successfully had done), Tucker challenged Harold into a staring contest (Harold cracked after two seconds), Harold challenged Arnold to rolling a ball on top of the cup's bottom in under thirty seconds.
And during that time when most of the attention was on the game, Sid had gotten himself closer to the hat as he gave a mischievous smirk, before snatching the hat and dumping the dares into the trash can nearby, before pausing briefly and putting in some new dares. As soon as Sid was satisfied, he snuck back just as Arnold finished the dare, with everybody clapping.
"Awwww, man, you're really good at this." Harold groaned as he crossed his arms.
"What can I say? I've been doing a lot of sports, I think I'm used to this..." Arnold paused before selecting a card, before looking towards Bucky as he seemed to be humming to himself. "Okay, uh, Bucky, I pick you for a dare."
"This'll be fun." Bucky said to himself as he looked up at Arnold as Olga handed him a card. "What do I do?"
"Okay, uh... you can either accept or pass this dare. Close your eyes, turn around three times, and count to twenty." Arnold read.
Bucky's eyes lit up. "Is that all? Heh, that's not a challenge, I can do that."
"Well, in that case, try and Prove It." Arnold said as he put the card to the side.
The strange looking friend of Curly's got up as he clapped his hands/paws. "Just watch me, I'm going to win this card in no time."
With that, Bucky closed his eyes, spun around TWENTY times, and counted to three. "There. You just lost your bet..."
Everyone just blinked twice as they watched Bucky open his eyes and groaning as he started stumbling around the room upon spinning so many times, with Arnold lowering his eyelids. "That's the basic opposite of what the card just told you. It's turn around three times and count to twenty, not turn around twenty times and count to three."
"Ergh... why is the room spinning around and around..." Bucky groaned before falling to the ground.
"Is he all right?" Kevin asked in concern.
"He will be once his bearings are gathered. How about I read the next card for him? Uh, Mister Monkeyman, I think he'd want to dare you." Pudding said as Olga handed her the next card. "Bet how many animals you can name in under twenty seconds."
"All right, that sounds simple, I bet I can name fifteen animals." Kevin nodded.
Curly frowned as he crossed his arms. "I could have done it, probably..."
A little while later, it was now Sid's turn to give Curly a question as Olga handed Sid a card as he looked it over. However, despite it having a different question, Sid gave a smirk.
"Okay, Curly, there's a good one here for you. Bet how many magicians you can name in under twenty seconds." Sid smirked.
"Magicians? Okay, I can name at least fifteen." Curly said.
"And you're sure about that?" Sid asked as he gave a smirk. "Because I want to put in a twist."
Everyone stared in awe as Curly raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "Uh, sure. What's the twist?"
"Name fifteen magicians in under twenty seconds... while balancing this glass of water." Sid said as he put a glass of water right on top of Curly's head. "And you can't move during the duration."
Arnold blinked twice as he looked at Sid suspiciously. "Let me see the card."
The big nosed kid, however, held it back as he shook his head. "Nuh uh, that IS what the card says, that's what the card says."
"Sid, no, it doesn't say that. I think you're putting unfair stipulations on Curly..." Arnold frowned.
"Arnold, Arnold, Arnold." Curly chuckled as he stood still. "It's fine. This IS Sid's challenge, after all..."
Arnold looked over at Curly, looking a bit unsure about this before looking around as everyone seemed a little eager to watch Curly attempt the challenge. He could only give a sigh before holding his head. "All right, all right, fine, I won't pry, but Sid, you're seriously being ridiculous with this."
"Trust me, I know what I'm doing." Sid smirked as Arnold stepped back. "Miss Pataki, start the timer."
"All right." Olga nodded before pushing the button.
Curly grinned as he held a good balance. "Okay, uh... Harry Houdini, David Copperfield, Siegfried and Roy..."
Everyone nodded as Curly gave a smirk as he waved his head a bit as Sid was watching. Curly continued, "Uh, Mickey Mouse..."
"What?" Sid blinked twice.
"Donald Duck, Merlin... King Arthur, Sir Lancelot, Sir Gawain, Sir Robin..." Curly grinned.
"No, no, that's not even-" Rhonda started to say, before Pudding held up her hand and shook her head.
"...uh, uh, Raven, Starfire, Bumblebee... Optimus Prime, Starscream, Soundwave... light waves, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean..." Curly said as he clapped his head, water spilling everywhere.
"Hey, that's not-" Sid started to protest.
"...Atlantic City, Trenton, Princeton, Hoboken..." Curly grinned as he lopped his head backwards and spilt the water. "Hackensack!"
"Time." Olga said as the cartoon character on the timer stopped.
Curly, Pudding and Bucky then started to cheer happily as Pudding clapped and jumped for joy, "Oh, Curly, that was amazing!"
"You did great!" Bucky grinned as everybody just stared flabbergasted.
Sid, on the other hand, shut his eyes in annoyance before opening them. "Curly... you didn't balance the water on your head."
"Did I not?" Curly said with a smirk as he turned towards the boy. "I barely noticed."
Sid growled as he then asked, "Well, did you at least REMEMBER what the original prompt was?"
"Yeah, name all the cities in New Jersey, duh." Curly grinned.
Sid stammered a bit, before giving a growl in annoyance.
"Well... that wasn't even the final prompt, but... yeah." Arnold groaned as Phoebe slammed her head against the wall a few times.
Miles, Stella, Olga, Carver and Kevin could only watch as Stella gave a small sigh. "Shall we just move onto the next dare...?"
"Yeah, may as well..." Miles said as he pulled up the hat to dig around.
Little did anyone realize was that this was about to become more difficult for the Craz-E players...
I know this chapter was all dedicated to one round, but that's the end of this chapter! At least I managed to get a chapter of 'Oh Rhonda: The New Adventures' in before the New Year! Hopefully, they'll be more updates with this and the other Oh Rhonda story along the way! Stick around folks, we're about to come to the end of this episode! Next time, Sid is about to give Curly, Pudding and Bucky impossible dares that the average human can't do. How will they try to win without exposing themselves as what they are?
