Happy New Year to everyone!
I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while as I have been busy with work and other stuff. However, I felt you were owed an update.
I'm sorry to say this but I am cancelling Flight of the Fortune Fairies.
Between my other stories and this one it's taken too much just to update every now and then. I realize now that it was a stupid idea to start multiple stories when I was already struggling to write one. After deliberating over them for a while, I decided I would cancel this one and several others.
Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's was one of the best Yu-Gi-Oh series in general because of its plot and dark themes and Carly was favourite character. I hated how she was demoted to extra because I wanted to see more of her and Jack. I also wanted to see her duel much more. I feel like a lot of characters in the show were wasted. I was hoping to explore a few more avenues I wish had been explored in the canon along with many character interactions. Which is why I'm sorry to be finishing it this way.
However, it's not over yet. While I am not above discontinuing stories, I hate just leaving readers like you thinking what could have been. Which why I will be writing summaries of the different arcs and characters I originally had planned just so you aren't left hanging.
It's been eight years since I posted this fic and I'm sorry that it ends this way.
