"So, what do you say?" Dracula asks, his accented voice low and shy. "Will you marry me?"

The Count looks across from him at the shocked expression that has overtaken his beloved's face.

Ericka looked from the beautiful little spider ring in his pale hands and then back at him. She was stunned beyond words. This certainly wasnotwhat she was expecting as Dracula had dragged her out onto the hotel's roof for a little alone time. Her throat goes dry and her eyes widen as her head shrinks down to her shoulders. Drac is silent, a hopeful look in his blue eyes as he continued to stare at her.

Ericka gulped. He's waiting for an answer.

Opening her mouth, she tried to respond.

"I… woo ba-doo-bi-dee?"

"Huh?" Drac asked, not understanding.

Ericka cleared her throat and tried again. "I mean, I woo be doo bee dee?"

Suddenly, all of their friends appeared on the top of the roof, looking down at the couple and unanimously asking the same question to Drac.

"What did she say?!"

Drac shrugged, dumbfounded. "I'm not sure!" he admitted.

But then, Ericka's nerves suddenly dissipated, and she sat up straighter, finally answering with the confidence she had been trying to muster.

"YES!"

Cheers erupted and Dracula beamed. The little spider ring jumped from its place in the box and onto Ericka's finger, the woman grinning in delight. Soon, so very soon, she was going to be a married woman, to the one and only Dracula!

From that day, many more questions were raised, ones that naturally came to a blushing bride.

Should I get the lace or silken dress?Ericka tapped a finger against her chin, uncertain as Mavis and the monster wives fitted her in the two different styles at the little boutique.

Chocolate or vanilla?Ericka wondered as she searched through the catalog at the many different cake designs and toppings that the hotel chef had composed in his recipe book.

Roses or sunflowers?Ericka wasn't sure if she should go for the classic bouquet or her favorite type of blossoms when she made her descent down the aisle.

Outside or inside? The hotel's interior was stunning of course and had held many weddings there in the past, but she could easily picture the beautiful garden in the back being a perfect venue as well.

The list of questions only increased on the day when she actually was to be wed, a lump of nervousness catching in her throat.

Is this the right thing to do? Her eyebrows creased.

Is Dracula nervous too?She swallowed anxiously.

Do I look okay? She bit her lip.

Did I forget anything?She fumbled a moment.

Will anyone object? She cringed thinking of her great-grandfather.

Is Tinkles going to interrupt the service? Her eyes darted in search of the massive puppy's whereabouts.

Does Drac bite when he...?

The last one makes her blush furiously, but she instead turns her attention to the priest - Blobby, as it was.

Despite his blobbish language, Ericka was able to perfectly understand what he was saying as he spoke to Drac first at the altar.

"Blublububbubuh?"Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and health, until death do you part?

The Count nodded. "I do."

Ericka felt the blush rising to her cheeks again as Blobby turned to her and repeated the question.

"Blublububbubuh?"Do you take this vampire to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and health, until death do you part?

Ericka drew in a shaky breath.Thiswas the most important question, aside from the proposal. She didn't know why she was so nervous, because the answer was clear - to her, to Drac, and to everyone there at the wedding who had seen Drac and Ericka and knew the crazy love they had for each other.

Once again, she perked up with a wide grin. "YES! Ido!"

Ericka hardly waited for Blobby to finish pronouncing them as husband and wife when she launched herself at her new husband, kissing him long and hard, and nearly tackling him back as she did so.

She heard Drac let out a startled yelp before wrapping his arms around her tightly, lifting her off her feet and holding her close as everyone cheered once again. The question was answered, the vows were exchanged…

... and now they could finally dig into that marble cake waiting in the ballroom.
