Chapter 5: Reunited
"Making silly sounds was fun-icky wicky!" Baby Bop giggled; the game was taking her mind off of her missing blankey.
"You can say that again, Baby Boppity Bop." Peppermint Patty laughed.
"Okay. Making silly sounds was fun-icky wicky."
"Aren't they cute at this age?" gushed Lila.
"Aye yi yi. Sissy..." BJ groaned; clearly he didn't think so.
"Marcie, why don't you spin the wheel this time and Snoopy and Kristen can count the spaces?" Barney suggested.
"You got it, Barney. Here it goes." Marcie spun the wheel, only for the force to knock her over. "YIPE!"
"Even spinning a wheel, Marcie, you embarrass me..." Peppermint Patty muttered as the wheel landed on '2'.
"Okay. One..." Kristen began.
"TWO!" Lila counted for Snoopy as he jumped on the next space.
"Ooooooh!" Snoopy and Woodstock smiled in awe.
Suddenly, everyone was dressed in PJs and nightcaps, and a bed appeared with pillows the same colors as the beanbags they made. "These beanbags are the same color as our benabags!" Linus smiled.
"Yeah, only bigger!" Lila smiled.
"Much bigger." Jason grinned as he, Min, Lucy, Linus, Kristen, Charlie Brown, Lila, Jesse, Peppermint Patty, and Snoopy all hopped onto the bed.
"They must be sleepy, Barney!" Baby Bop giggled.
"But this bed isn't big enough for all ten of us." Lucy pointed out.
Barney, Baby Bop, BJ, Barney's Friends, and Peanuts Gang:
10 in the bed and the little one said,
Lila:
"Roll over, roll over."

They all rolled over and one fell out.
Lucy fell out first and huffed. "Almost every time!" she said.
"It's still pretty cozy." BJ shrugged.

9 in the bed and the little one said,
Lila:
"Roll over, roll over."

They all rolled over and one fell out.
Min fell out next. "Welcome to the club." Lucy quipped.

8 in the bed and the little one said,

"Roll over, roll over."

They all rolled over and one fell out.
Linus fell out next, still clutching his blanket. "At least I still have my security." Linus smiled.
"Oh brother." Lucy groaned, rolling her eyes.

7 in the bed and the little one said,
Lila:
"Roll over, roll over."

They all rolled over and one fell out.
Jason fell out next.
"At least it's not a bunk bed!" BJ joked.
"Yes. That's a whole other can of worms." Linus commented.

6 in the bed and the little one said,
Lila:
"Roll over, roll over."

They all rolled over and one fell out.
Peppermint Patty fell out next.

Out of the blue, Snoopy kicked Charlie Brown off.
"SNOOPY!" the kids and dinosaurs all laughed.
"Heh heh..."

4 in the bed and the little one said,
Lila:
"Roll over, roll over."
Barney, Baby Bop, BJ, Barney's Friends, and Peanuts Gang:
They all rolled over and one fell out.
Jesse was kicked out next.
"He looks pretty comfy." BJ laughed.
"He's asleep." Baby Bop giggled.

3 in the bed and the little one said,

"Roll over, roll over."

They all rolled over and one fell out.
Kristen then fell out and looked up, giggling. She was SO close.
Barney, Baby Bop, BJ, Barney's Friends, and Peanuts Gang:
2 in the bed and the little one said,

"Roll over, roll over."

They all rolled over and one fell out.
Snoopy then leapt out of the bed and dragged Linus by the blanket.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Linus called out.
"Look out!" BJ gasped as Baby Bop covered her eyes.
Barney, Baby Bop, BJ, Barney's Friends, and Peanuts Gang:
1 in the bed and the little one said,
Lila:
"Alone at last..."
"Huh..." the kids shrugged as Snoopy licked her face.
"THAT TICKLES!" Lila laughed.
"OK, Kristen, why don't you spin the wheel, and Lila, Marcie, and Jesse can move this time?" Barney asked.
"OK, Barney!" Kristen smiled as she did just that, and the wheel landed on the number 3.
"3! We'll move three spaces!" Jesse smiled. "One..."
"...two..." Marcie smiled hopping on the space with the bottles.
"...three!" Lila smiled, hopping on the space with an airplane.
"That space has an airplane painted on it." Min pointed out.
Suddenly, the kids were given airplane pilot uniforms and their own mini airplanes, much like Snoopy's Sopwith Camel.
"WHOO HOO! YAY!" Snoopy cheered.
Barney, Baby Bop, BJ, Barney's Friends, and Peanuts Gang:
Oh, we are flying in an airplane,
Looking out the windows,
Watching the clouds go by.

Looking out the window, we can see the wings.
Down below, we see other things.
Like little tiny buildings and cars so small.
It makes me feel like I'm really tall.
"Go guys, go!" BJ smiled.
Barney, Baby Bop, BJ, Barney's Friends, and Peanuts Gang:
Oh, we are flying in an airplane,

Watching the clouds go by.

Pretending I'm a pilot is a lot of fun.
I think when I grow up, I really might be one.
But for now I'm just enjoying being in this plane,
Safe from the snow, and from the rain.

"Come on, Lila! It's your turn to spin this time." Charlie Brown smiled.
"Who's going to count?" Lila asked.
"How about you and Sally, Baby Bop?" Barney suggested. Baby Bop nodded as Lila spun the wheel
"BIG NUMBER, BUG NUMBER, BIG-" Sally paused as the wheel landed on the number… "1..."
"We have to make one BIG hop to the next space." Baby Bop explained.
Sally:
Hop...hop...hop...hop-
"HOP!" she and Baby Bop hopped onto the space-a green present with purple ribbons on it.
"Hey Barney, this space has a picture of a present." Baby Bop smiled.
"It's the same color as you." giggled Sally as the present appeared.
"Oh look, a present! For me?"
"No one else is green and pink-purple." laughed Peppermint Patty.
"Magenta, Sir." Marcie corrected.
"Come on, open it, sissy." BJ suggested.
Lucy's eyes lit up, she knew what this could be.
Sally helped Baby Bop open it, and lo and behold….
"Ooooooh! My blankey! IT'S MY BLANKEY!" Baby Bop happily cried out.
"A girl is reunited with her blankey." Linus wiped his eyes as Lucy hugged her.
Lucy:
Sounds foolish, I know it
One day she'll outgrow it
Until then, it's her blankey-
Baby Bop:
-and me
"And I couldn't be happier that she found it!" Lucy added.
"Me too!" Linus smiled.
Baby Bop:
I like my blankey
It's very, very yellow
I like it even better
Than a bowl of Jell-O
Barney, BJ, Lucy, Linus and Sally:
When she holds it close
It feels just right
She likes her yellow blankey

"It makes me so happy!" Baby Bop smiled.
"YAY!" Lila cheered.
Baby Bop:
My blankey is so special
and very, very yellow.
I like to keep it with me
when I say "Hello!"

When she holds it close,

"I wanna be a ballerina when I grow up!" Baby Bop smiled.
"You already are!" Heather squealed.

My blankey feels so soft
like a big marshmallow,
But I like it most
because it's oh, so yellow!
