Chapter Four: "Ghost Hunter"

It was late at night at the docks of Amity Park with a series of warehouses along it. Within one of those warehouses were stacks of boxes as a ruckus happens outside before a short rotund ghost man is thrown through the wall into the warehouse.

This ghost had blue skin and short back hair, with red eyes like most ghost so far. He wore gray overalls and a matching gray hat with a light gray short-sleeve shirt with matching worker gloves. He also wore black boots.

Overall, he looked like a dock worker or fisherman.

The ghost crashes into a pyramid stack of boxes with a scream as it falls down tot eh ground with him.

Phantom comes through the wall with a pissed off face and looks around for him before passing completely through the wall into the warehouse.

The ghost floats up with a deadpan expression before wiggling his fingers, "Beware, I am the Box Ghost", he says in a lame over dramatic way, "I have power over all containers cardboard and square", gesturing to the boxes around him.

"Ok, can we get this over with? I got a test to study for", Phantom says him with a bored unimpressed expression.

"Study?", Box Ghost asks incredulously before dramatically pointing at Phantom "There will be no time to study when you find yourself crushed beneath the forgotten possession of...", he waves his hands as they glow with telekinetic energy as the boxes all lift into the air and looks to a postage on one of the boxes since he didn't know how to continue, "Elliot Kravitz of Arlington Heights, Illinois", he smiles as his eyes glow and he tosses the boxes and their contents at Phantom.

Phantom simply go hazy and the pass through him and crash into the wall behind him

He sighs, "I don't have time for this", he looks to the nearby door, "Tucker, let's go!"

"Hyah!", both Tucker and Sam yell out as they kick down a steel door to the warehouse. It must have been Sam behind that kick, because it sure wasn't Tucker.

They rush in, Sam with a biology textbook and Tucker with the Fenton Thermos. Box Ghost looked at them stunned. Tucker spins the Thermos in his finger like a basketball.

"Good night, everybody", Tucker says with a smile, as he then catches it in his left hand before flicking the lid off back to his right hand before then aiming it at Box Ghost and the frosty-blue energy beams out.

Phantom grabs him and throws the Box Ghost into the path of the beam and it captures him.

"No-aaaaaah...!", Box Ghost scream as he's dragged into the Thermos.

Once he was in and the energy tops, Tucker places the cap on it.

"Perimeter secure", Tucker declares.

"Perimeter secure?", Sam asks him, "What are you, a Navy SEAL?"

Phantom lands beside them, "Seals: semi-aquatic marine mammals that are carnivorous, also known as Pinnipeds".

Sam looks into the book, "Correct", she declares, "That's 21 for 21".

"If I was a teacher, I'd say that sounds like another "A"", Tucker says with a smile as he spins the Thermos on his finger again.

"If you guys are gonna be my superhero support, you need to be more focused for the ghost collecting so I can study for the test tomorrow", Phantom remarks.

"What? We got them all right here", Tucker denies, right before he drop the Fenton Thermos.

Unluckily for them, it lands right on a certain button and the green colored screen shows a digital alarm clock looking "RELEASE" before the lid pops off and a stream of ghosts exit from it back into the world and left the warehouse.

"Ha ha! I am the Box Ghost!", he cheers, "You cannot hold me within the confines of a cylindrical container", before flying out through the wall of the warehouse.

"That's weird", Tucker comments while Sam and Phantom glare at him, "According to my schedule, we should be done catching ghosts by now", before sheepishly smiling to Phantom.

They were unaware of that Phantom was being spied upon from a distance with advanced red lense binoculars.

"Half human, half ghost. One of a kind", says another ghostly figure from another warehouse.

He had off-white skin with metallic seam markings on his arms. He had flaming green hair in a mohawk like a horses mane and goatee, literally. His eyes with a matching shade of green and he had jagged teeth

He wore a black tank-top with matching pants with a dark metal shoulder guard on his left shoulder with a strap from it over his chest. He high tech gauntlets with a matching utility belt and boots. The belt had a square buckle with a blue S on it. Around his neck was a black collar with a skull on the front.

The binoculars collapse into his right gauntlet as he smiles a crooked smile, "He'll make a fine addition to my collection", glancing to a cage of basic ghosts.

"Ha ha!", Box Ghost laughs at the cage as he arrives in the room

"Touch the box and your pelt will adorn my fireplace", he threatens Box Ghost as he looks to Phantom through his binoculars again.

Box Ghost looked fearful before shouting, "BEWARE!", at the ghosts in the box cage before flying away in a hurry.

The other ghost scowls about the Box Ghost's annoyances as he gazes after Phantom.

Morning, Fenton Works

"Oh, my god, they said yes!", Jazz yells out as she rushes into the kitchen with a magazine.

Maddie, Jack, and Jason look to her, pausing in there activities of eating (Jack and Jason) and working on a Fenton gadget (Maddie).

"Who said yes? The person you asked if you were a conceited snob?", Jason jokingly asks.

"No", Jazz deadpans before smiling again, "Genius Magazine said yes. They got my letter and want to put Mom on the cover!", soon standing before her mother, "Aaah!", she screams in excitement as she hugs the magazine.

"Genius Magazine?", Maddie curiously asks.

"Genius Magazine?", Jack asks with a smile as he excitedly rips the magazine out of Jazz's hands, "is it the swimsuit issue?", he deadpans to his daughter.

"Uh, Dad, Genius Magazine is for woman geniuses, by women geniuses, and about women geniuses", Jazz corrects and informs him.

"It can be a swimsuit issue", Jason adds on, "Lesbian geniuses are still women, Jazz. And I'm sure they would love to see Mrs. Fenton in a bikini".

"It's not the swimsuit issue!", Jazz loudly denies, "But it is the perfect magazine to show that I have normal parents instead of a couple of Ghost-Hunting freaks."

"They're not ghost-hunting freaks", Jason denies back.

"Hey Danny", Jack cuts in, "Check out the latest in ghost hunting technology", ripping away the device Maddie was working on out from under her tools, "The Ghost Gabber. genius magazine has to be interested in this", he slides next to Jason, "It takes the mysterious sounds a ghost makes and translates them into words you and I use every day", he shoves it in Jason's face.

"Boo", Jason utters in an uncaring manner.

"I am a ghost. Fear me", the device sounds out in translation, confusing the Fentons.

"Huh. Well, I better get to school", Jasn tells them.

"I better get to school. Fear me", the device voices.

Jason shakes his head and leaves the kitchen while Jack inspects the device in confusion.

Maddie speaks to her daughter while flipping through the magazine, "That's great about the magazine, sweetie, but your father and I are a team. I think that beside every genius woman, there's a genius man", pointing a thumb to Jack Fenton.

"Who should be standing beside her on the cover of Genius Magazine", Jack declares as he speeds to Maddie's side, hovering over her as she smiles up to him from her seat at the kitchen table, "The world needs to know that the Fentons are a family of geniuses".

Later in the Day, Casper High

"I got a "B"?", Jason asks in confusion as he reviews his biology test, "All this ghost hunting is actually messing with me", he retorts to Tucker in the library at a study table. Sam sat behind them at a computer station.

"Good thing your not actually a Fenton so they can still claim they're a family of Geniuses", Tucker jokes with a smile.

"You can always pull your grade up to make up for it", Sam informs him, "Do an extra credit biology assignment on this magnificent creature", she then shows a picture of a white furred, blue eyed, gorilla with a patch of purple fur on its back. Referred to as Sampson on the website.

"A purple-back gorilla?", Jason asks Sam as she walks up behind her, only hearing of such a creature for the first time.

"Yup", Sam confirms, "Extremely rare, only two left, both male. After this, they're gone forever. Which is why you are going to prove he deserves to be set free."

Jason deadpans as he knows she was going to use him for her propaganda.

"I don't have time for extra credit or your agendas", Jason says.

"Actually, you do", Tucker cuts in with a smile, "You just need to manage your time better. I decided to become your time manager", he shrugs, "It's the least I could do after Sam made me let all those ghosts out", causing both to deadpan at him, with Sam scowling, "It'll be my job to keep track of your schedule so you can do your schoolwork and catch all those ghosts that Sam let loose", causing Sam's teeth to clench in a soundless growl.

"Remember what happened when I let you manage the Thermos?", Jason rhetorically asks.

"And I've already scheduled "Remember not to let Tucker handle the Thermos"", Tucker says as he then shows a note reminder on his phone.

Jason crosses his arms, "I suppose we could have a trial period", he relents without a care while Sam was still scowling at Tucker.

"See?", Tucker says, "I've also scheduled some zoo time so we can check out that gorilla. Let's go", and he rushes out the library with Jason and Sam soon following.

Missing the invisible and intangible ghost stalking them. He flies over to the computer and goes corporeal as he looks at the screen showing the purple back gorilla.

"Hmmm, so this is your prey, eh, Ghost Boy?", the ghost asks himself.

"Uh, excuse me, sir?", a young redhead boy with freckles and glasses asks as he approaches the ghost.

"Raaaa!", the ghost lets out at him, but the boy was unfazed.

"Are you finished with the computer?", the boy asks.

The ghost sneers as he aims his fists at the boy and his gauntlets reveal a series of barrels like a gatling gun and he fires at the boy.

"Wwaaahhhhh!", the boy cries out as he flies back into a wall with a ecto containment net pinning him there, along with green goo sticking to his wrists and ankles along with covering his eyes.

"You thought you could sneak up on me? Skulker?", the ghost demands with a satisfied smile as he floats before the boy, revealing his name to the world.

"Waaaahh!", the boy cries out again in distress.

"Ghost World's greatest predator?", Skulker continues to gloat.

"Aaaahhhhh...!", the boy goes again.

"Quiet, you're in a library", Skulker remarks before firing more go and covering the boy's mouth.

Skulker then goes intangibile and phases through the wall beside the boy to leave, just as Dash and a friend enter to see the boy.

"Wow", Dash remarks with a smile at the sight of the pinned up nerd, "You do that?", he asks his dark skinned friend.

"No", the guy replies, "But I can always stop and appreciate high-quality bullying".

The net and ooze disappears and the boy falls down with a scream to the floor.

Later at Night, Amity Park Zoo

In a steel net looking dome for a habitat stalked Samson the purple-back gorilla.

"There he is- Sampson", Sam says from her place in a tower overlooking the enclosure, "So gifted, so majestic", she remarks as she sees the gorilla turn around to show off it's purple furred back... along with its ass as it scratches it.

Sam, along with Tucker and Jason, were in the watchtower for guests to spy on the animals safely.

"Sam, we've been watching this gorilla scratch his butt for, um, how long?", Jason says, asking the last part of Tucker.

Tucker yawns, tired and bored, "Six hours", Tucker reveals.

Jason yawns as well, "Time flies when you're majestically scratching your butt".

"It's only a matter of time before you find something about Sampson nobody's ever learned", Sam enthusiastically says, "You should go and try to communicate with him", she turns around only to see Jason laying down on the ground to sleep, "Ahh, great", Sam sighs, "Tucker, you're his manager, can you-", only to find him sleeping beside him a foot away before rolling over and cuddling up to Jason.

"Ahh, I'll do it", Sam resigns herself, "But first...", she brings up her phone and takes a picture of the duo, "Ha ha, boys hugging makes every yearbook funny".

Down in the enclosures, Skulker enters through the tiger cage and spies on Sampson and Jason with his friends from there.

The tiger awakens to see the hunter ghost and begins to growl in anger at the encroachment on its territory.

Skulker hears the growls and looks to the tiger in confusion before gloating, "Oh, please", just before the tiger pounces and they begin to scuffle with each other, drawing Sampson's attention.

The purple-back gorilla rushes over to the side of its own enclosure closest to the noise but stops at the sight of Sam standing at the end of the cage.

Sampson releases some gorilla talk to warn her.

"What is it, you wonderous being?", Sam asks, oblivious to the world in her awe of the near extinct species before her, not hearing the loud ass noise of the tiger and Skulker fighting.

Sampson runs over tot he cage wall separating them and grabs hold of it, letting out more noises to warn her before looking off to the side where the tiger cage is.

Sam finally looks over as Sampson is pointing over their, but she can't see nothing due to how dark it was in the zoo.

"Is something wrong?", she asks the gorilla.

The gorilla rushes to the door and begins pulling on it to get out.

"You want out?", Sam asks, smiling like a righteous dumbass while not knowing the reason Sampson wants out.

Sam rushes over to the gate controls, which are just out in the open for any dumbass kid to mess with, and excitedly pushes the button to open the gate.

The gate opens and Sampson angrily rushes out with a snarl for the tiger cage.

In said cage, the tiger was captured and hanging in a ecto blue net done by Skulker. Finished with the fight, Skulker flies out of the cage and solidifies before looking through his binoculars for Jason before said binoculars show him a warning.

"What? Gorilla attacking?",Skulker questions right before Sampson ruthlessly jumps onto the hunter with a crash.

Sampson then begins to batter the hunter ghost with it's massive gorilla fists. Skulker blocks one of the attacks with his right gauntlet before using both legs to kick.

Skulker gets to his feet while Sampson gets to its standard Gorilla four limb position. The two angrily stand off with each other.

Sampson attacks first once more with a growl and a snarl, tackling Skulker, before landing on its purple back and bicycle kicking Skulker around like a balls spinning before using both feet to kick the hunter back towards the tiger cage. Before Skulker could recover, Sampson was already on him again and grabs his left arm and bites down on the gauntlet, damaging the tech.

Skulker then glares before a smile cannon comes up from the gauntlet and shoots goo into Sampson's eyes, blinding him.

He steps back in a panic, fearful at his inability to see now.

Skulker smiles at the creatures distress and fires one of his nets at the gorilla, however, Sampson catches it mid air, surprising Skulker.

Sampson then begins spinning around, with Skulker still attached to the net via his left gauntlet. Skulker tries to hit the gauntlet to release the net, but it is damaged from the biting. It eventually snaps and Skulker is sent flying uncontrollably through the air and into the tower where Jason and Tucker laid asleep from boredom, landing right beside them.

Jason's Ghost Sense activates as a stream of icy blue air exits his mouth and he shivers.

Sam, having come to reunite with her friends, sees Skulker, "Oh my god!", she yells in surprise just before Skulker fires a shot of goo to cover her mouth and silence her.

"Now for the ghost child", Skulker goes as his gauntlet glitches.

Only for Sampson Sampson to come in and jump on Skulker once more and they crash into the wal over before falling onto the desk and continue to beat on the ghost.

Skulker backhands Sampson before quickly grabbing the gorilla by its face fur and throwing it off him. Sampson recovers and rushes for the ghost hunter.

Cutting his losses, Skulker goes intangible and phases throw the wall behind him, escaping just before Sampson bashes into the wall. Sampson then bangs on the wall to continue the fight, ut is getting nowhere.

Both Jason and Tucker rise up from their slumber, Tucker screaming in surprise while Jason quickly gets to his feet and looks around only fo them to see the gorilla angrily beating on the wall beside them.

"Gorilla! Loose!", Tucker screams in fear.

"I got em", Jason assures, "I'm going ghost!", and he then transformed into Phantom with the white rings.

Once he finished transforming, he flies forward at the purple-back gorilla. Sampson dives down from the desk in fear at another ghost but Phantom flies over him and grabs Sampson under his arms.

Phantom focuses and they both went intangible before Phantom flies them through the wall and out of the observing tower.

"Alright, I don't know how you got out, but as an endangered species, you should go back", Phantom says to Sampson before flying into the proper enclosure.

He drops the purple-back gorilla off and flies through the open gate and presses the close button to shut and lock it again.

Sampson stands by the gate, hanging a hand onto the cage bars in worry.

Sam and Tucker soon walk up beside Phantom.

"Danny, I meant to tells you, there was a gho-", Sam goes but Jason looks at her unimpressed.

"I wonder who let the gorilla out... Sam?", he asks with a side eye.

"Yeah", Tucker adds on in accusation, "Wait'll we tell everybody at school ou et out a 400 pound gorilla".

To which, Sam raises a brow before then raising her phone to show the picture of Tucker clinging on to Jason in their sleep.

Jason didn't care as he was secure in his heterosexuality... Tucker on the other hand...

"Or we just keep it our little secret", Tucker finishes before looking to Jason, "I mean, we have no proof she did it, ya know".

"No", Jason relents, "We don't", causing Sam to smirk.

Later, Fenton Works

The Fenton family were sitting on the couch (Maddie, Jack, and Jazz in that order) in their living room as a light-chocolate color skinned woman in a purple dress suit with black hairs and green eyes sits in the chair closest to Maddie, asking them questions for the Genius Magazine.

"A few more questions, Maddie", the reporter for the magazine known as Connie says, "Can you tell our readers what you're working on now?".

Maddie goes to speak but Jack cuts in.

"Well, it's called the Ghost Gabber, and-", Jack goes as he shows off the device while Maddie raises a brow in surprise at the interruption. She really shouldn't be by now.

"Dad, put that thing away!", Jazz reprimands her father before sheepishly looking to Connie, "She's actually working on a new form of self-generating energy. She's an amazing, intelligent woman who's about to change the world", Jazz tries to refocus the line of questioning.

Maddie smiles with Connie to Jazz before looking to Connie, "Connie, my primary focus these days is ghost hunting", she reveals, surprising Connie.

"Um, forgive me. Did you says ghost hunting?", Connie asks in confusion.

"Ahh...", Jazz moans in despair before hearing the door open.

Jason, Tucker and Sam walk in through the front door.

"Danny, look at you", Maddie says in worry at Jason looking like such a mess with his hair and clothes disheveled compared to Tucker and Sam, "I'm not sure I like this overnight zoo research".

"It's fine, Maddie", Jason waves off, "I've had worst times then being a kid in the zoo at night alone with friends", leaving the Fentons and guest in silence, "We'll be in my room", before he and his friends went up the stairs.

"We'll be in my room. Fear me", the Ghost Gabber translates.

"Give me that!", Jazz angrily says and yanks the device from her father's hands before stuffing it under a couch pillow as she glares up at her taller father before smiling like an angel to Connie, "Now, where were we?".

Upstairs

"Here we go", Tucker says as they then stand before Jason's bedroom door, "Home in time for some well-deserved rest", only for his phone to let out a tone, "But keep it quick, because you've got 13 minutes"

Only for Jason to experience his Ghost Sense. He opens his door and Skulker then appears in front of him

"Hello, ghost child", Skulker says threateningly, standing over Jason at about 6 inches taller.

He aims his left arm at Jason and fires a ecto-net at him, closing him in a net bag with a tether to the gauntlet, before dragging him into the room and the door closes as Sam and Tucker.

"Danny!", the two friends yell out in worry.

Jason sits in the small net on the floor, practically forced into a ball with out small it is.

"The human ghost child in its natural habitat", Skulker remarks at his captured prey.

"Who are you?", Jason demands.

"I am Skulker", he introduces himself with a jagged smile, "A collector of things rae and unique", showing off a holographic image of his caged ghosts, "And you, ghost child, are that and more. Ha ha ha ha ha!", before he then steps on Jason's model Batplane he constructed in remembrance of his past.

"Hey, my Batwing! I built that!", Jason complains.

Skulker ignores him, "Pity though. I'd hoped you would put up more of a fight".

"Oh, don't worry", Jason says as he then simultaneously transforms and phases though the net, floating before Skulker, "I will!", before flying forward and suck punching Skulker into the wall near Jason's closet.

Outside the room, Sam and tucker were trying to force their way in.

"That was the ghost from the zoo", Sam tells Tucker.

"Danny?", Tucker asks in confusion.

"No, the other guy", Sam specifies.

They then hear the commotion in the room and back away from the door.

"Hello, what's going on up there?!", Jazz calls up to them from down stairs, causing the two to look at each other in a panic and rush to the stairs.

Back in the living room, Jazz was trying to salvage the interview from ghost hunting, "You know, ghost hunting isn't the only thing my parents do, Connie. It's really a side interest. What they're really into is-", only to hear a massive crash from upstairs.

"Ghost!", Jack yells out as he stands form the couch, "Ghost! Ghost!", like an addict looking for his next fix.

Sam and Tucker run down the stairs.

"Kids, get down, there's a ghost in the house", Maddie yells to them.

"Actually, there's two-", Tucker goes, only to get elbowed by Sam, "much homework to be down for there to be a ghost here. I'll get some snacks".

"Yeah", Sam agrees with a nervous smile, "Danny is upstairs", she informs them before they then hear another crash, "Uh, lifting weights?"

"He doesn't have exercise equipment up there", Maddie remarks with a raised brow as she is usually home and has never seen him bring any in.

"My computer!", they hear Jason yell from upstairs as more crashing is heard, "Oh wait, that's Jazz's"

"That's why he's using his computer", Sam sheepishly lies.

In The Kitchen

Tucker is in the kitchen in a panic before Jason comes crashing in through a newly made hole and breaks apart the kitchen table.

Skulker then lands before him, "Come, ghost boy. Time to see your new home", before grabbing Phantom and phasing them into the basement.

"Woooaaahhh!", Phantom yells out before they crash into the basement floor.

Sam, Connie, and the Fentons rush into the kitchen due to the noise to find Tucker with the broken table and the hole in the ceiling.

"Uh... hi-yah!", Tucker tries to use as an excuse while taking a martial arts stance.

"What's going on?", Connie asks in confusion at the chaos before a massive crash is heard.

"Sound like rats in the lab", Tucker loudly remarks.

"Ghost Rats! I knew it", Jack fiercely claims.

"Don't worry, We'll get rid of them", Sam says as she and Tucker run pass them for the stairs to the lab/basement.

Connie raises a finger to her lip in thought, "I'd like to learn a little more about this Danny", and goes to head upstairs.

"Uh, that's probably not such a great idea", Jazz goes to disway her.

"I'd like to see what he's doing up there, anyway", Maddie says with a look to the ceiling before following after Connie.

"Wait!", Jazz yells after her.

In the Fenton Basement/Lab

"What are you doing?", Phantom demands as Skulker holds him up by his collar.

"Bringing you back to my world, where I can put you on display", Skulker reveals with triumph, showing off his collection in hand again.

"What?!", Phantom asks incredulously.

Skulker pushes a button on his right gauntlet and the Fenton Ghost Portal activates

'Seriously? When did ghost hack into that?', Jason thinks at that.

"Ha! At last. Time to put you in your cage", Skulker celebrates as he walks towards the portal.

"No!", Jason yells before kicking up into Skulker's chin and sending him fling back near the steps.

"No is right, Danny", Sam agrees as she and Tucker arrive downstairs, "Cages are wrong. How do you think Sampson fells being in a cage?"

"Pretty good actually since he's waited on hand and foot as an endangered species", Tucker remarks before noticing Skulker recovering, "Aaah!", he rushes away, dropping his modified phone.

Skulker sees the fallen device and picks it up in curiosity.

"That technology- so sleek, so advanced", Skulker remarks in wonder before looking to his gauntlet to see the chewed on piece from Sampson, "Hmm, I wonder...", he removes the busted piece and attaches the phone in its place.

"Hey, I got 3 more payments on that", Tucker complains, getting in too close.

Skulker side-eyes him before backhanding him away.

Skulker then looks back at his upgrade, "Marvelous", he remarks.

Phantom quickly flies at him with supernatural speed only to receive an upgraded blast from Skulker's gauntlet cannon.

Phantom is sent flying back into the wall beside the Ghost Portal, his hands and feet bound in ecto-energy cuffs as he falls to the floor.

"Oh way to go, Tucker", Sam admonishes, "You just made the bad guy more bad".

"How was I supposed to know my phone was ghost compatible?", Tucker remarks with a shrug.

"Say good-bye to this world, child", Skulker declares menacingly, only for a musical tone to come from the phone holster, "What?", he looks at the screen on his gauntlet, "Fly to the Library? get a book an eating habits of purple back gorilla?", before his jet wings forcefully manifest from his back, "Oh, stop The hunt is not voer!", Skulker complains as he is forcefully flown out of the building, phasing through everything and into the outside sky

Jack looks back as he walks up the steps to see nothing, almost like he sensed Skulker had flied right passed him, before he follows the others to Jason's room.

Phantom had looked up in confusion at what happened before the energy cuffs disappear and he is free once more.

"What happened?", Sama sks as she approaches Phantom and helps him up.

"Who cares?", Phantom remarks at the turn of events, "At least I got a minute to relax and figure this out", scratching his head in wonder.

Only to her Maddie call of him, "Danny, where are you? Somebody here wants to meet you".

"My room!", Phantom cries out and flies up to his room, turning back into human form just before Maddie opens the door.

"Danny, this is Connie from Genius Magazine", Maddie goes as she opens the door.

"Don't you people ever knock?", Jason asks as he rushes the door and keeps it mostly closed so they don't see the state of his room from the fighting, before then slamming the door shut, "Jazz is going to kill me for that".

Outside the room, "I'm going to kill him for that", Jazz growls.

"Brooding? Messy? Reclusive?", Connie notes in thought, "Now, those are the signs of a true genius", she remarks with a smile before sighing, "Oh, if only he were a woman".

Later, Casper High

The bell rings as student chatter and head into the school for the day.

"Any sign of him?", Jason quietly asks Tucker and Sam.

"Nope. He hasn't bothered you for 38 minutes", Tucker says, glancing at his other phone. Seriously, how can he afford all of them. "Maybe he's hunting someone else now", Tucker remarks.

"How many of those do you have?", Sam asks about his new phone.

"Just two", Tucker tells her before looking to Jason with a winning smile, "Good thing I beamed all your info in here and backed it up. Global thinking, Danny. The sign of a quality time manager", before the phone beeps about them going to class, "Come on, you're late", pushing Jason into the school, with him and Sam following after him.

Skulker rises from the steps they had just walked on, "Soon, ghost boy, soon", he promises with threatening intention.

Later, After A Class or Two

Jason was at his locker and was the only one in the hall right now in between classes save his friends before his locker bursts open and he's wrapped up in green ghost chains as he crashed into the lockers on the opposite side of the hall.

"Danny!", Sam and Tucker cry out.

A blue flame slithers from the ceiling to the floor and becomes a blue inferno till it then becomes Skulker.

"I have you now, child", Skulker claims with a smile as he aims a blaster from his left gauntlet only to stop as a beep goes off from his stolen phone, "What?", and he looks to it, "Go to the news stand and purchase magazine with article about purple back gorillas?", he read before he is again forcefully flown away.

The chains vanish from Jason as he looks to where Skulker went before looking to Tucker.

"Hmm, I have the same thing on mine", Tucker says as he looks to his current phone.

"I'll think we'll blow that one off", Jason decides as he rubs his sore arms from being chained down.

Later at Lunch, Casper High Football Field

"Danny, eat something", Sam tells Jason.

"I can't now", Jason tells her, "He could be anywhere".

"Hey, this food was scheduled to be eaten", Tucker says after finishing his food and going for Jason's food.

Only for a blue energy ball to appear before them as Tucker opens Jason's school milk then clamps onto Jason's face, leaving a face cage on him before forming an energy collar around his neck.

"Danny!", the duo cry out for their friend, again.

Skulker appears on the stands above them, "Now, boy, once more, I, Skulker, shall-", before a the same musical tone comes from his gauntlet. He looks down to it to see it say, "Take photos of Gorilla?", before he is forced to fly away again via his jet wings from his back.

This left the collar to disappear like the other traps.

"Well, at leas he's regular", Sam comments.

"Yeah, almost like a schedule", Jason agrees in realization before asking Tucker, "What's the next thing you have scheduled for me, Tucker?"

Tucker looks to the schedule,"Gym", Tucker replies, "Why?"

To which Jason smiles as he's got an idea

Later, Locker Room of Casper High

"You are one smooth-lookin Dude", Dash compliments his reflection in the mirror of the gym locker room while in his red and white gym uniform with a towel around his shoulders as he then flexes.

Jason approaches his own locker with Tucker before pausing for a second and turning to the blonde bully.

"Hey Dash", he says with a smile before looking pathetic as Dash turns to him, "I'm too weak and defenseless to open my locker. Can you open it for me?"

Dash grabs his shoulder and pushes him out of the way, "Out of the way, loser", before masing with the lock-dial, only for the locker to burst open a a light blue liquidy substance to send him flying back like a firehose or something, sealing the bully in a jelly like blob on the far side lockers.

Skulker then appears before the bully, "Hmm, my sensors indicate you're an average human destined for an average life after high school", causing Dash to silently scream in despair within the jelly like trap, unable to see but able to hear.

Jason and Tucker look around lockers, being spotted by SKulker.

He summons a blue ball, "I shall-", only for the tone and the device to show, "The gorilla display at the museum of natural history?", and he resigns himself to fly away against his will again.

"Why's he going their?", Tucker asks Jason.

"When Skulker put your phone into his technology, he became bound to my schedule", Jason reveals, "He has to go where I was going next", taking Tuckers phone to look at, "Which means... It's time for the hunter to become the hunted", as he phone shows he has to visit the gorilla habitat at the zoo, "Come on, we're gonna go do something a little ahead of schedule", he says with an almost evil, plotting, smile before the duo rush to change their clothes.

Later, Amity Park Zoo

Once more at the zoo overlooking the Purple-Back Gorilla, Sampson, Skulker spies on the gorilla in search of Jason.

"Where is he?", Skulker demands to himself, "According to this infernal device-", glancing to the phone playing pong by itself, "Which I cannot reprogram-", apparently Tucker was way better then him tech-wise, "The ghost boy was supposed to be here an hour ago".

He hops down from his tree to the gorilla below him within the habitat.

"You were supposed to be the bait, you stupid animal", Skulker complains to Sampson, only for it to turn around to reveal Sam and Tucker in a purple-back gorilla designed cloak.

"Sampson is not stupid!", Sam denies.

"He's also not here", Tucker adds on before bringing his phone out with a stylus pen to write on it, "Can I take a message.

"You two", Skulker utters in realization, "You'll pay for this!", before unveiling a plethora of weapons, missile launchers, gatlings, laser cannons, etc, all aimed at the teens

"Oh-ho-ho-ho", Tucker laughs in excitement, "I don't think so", before remote sending info to his old phone on Skulker's gear.

Skulker looks to it, "TIme for push-ups? What?!", as his gear is forced back into his body and he is forced to begin doing push-ups on the ground, "Stop! Stop! I can't stop!"

"I can help with that!", Phantom announces his presence, flying in the air of the thunderdome looking cage, before flying to Skulker and tackling him with all his weight, sending the hunter flying into the far end of the cage.

The hunter didn't have time to recover as Phantom is already in his face and wailing on him with varying punches as metal scraps fly off Skulker.

Skulker knocks him away and get up to his feet with a tri-barrel cannon aiming at Phantom.

"Uh-uh-uh, 1:11, polish armor", Tucker says as he writes this in his phone and send it to Skulker.

This causes the cannon to transform into a buffing polisher and begins working on Skulker's face

"Stop fooling around, Tucker", Sam admonishes in anger.

"Power him down already. Now!", Phantom shouts to him.

"Relaxe, everything's totally under-" Tucker goes without a care before an arrow fired by Skulker knocks the phone out of his hand and pins it into the tree, "control? Aw, man, I had 4 more payments on this one".

Skulker smiles with his wrist crossbow out, having shot the phone with it.

"Tucker, you're fired", Phantom states with a furrowed brow before looking to Skulker, who placed his weapons away.

Skulker glares at Phantom before declaring, "Very well. I planned on simply capturing you and letting you live the rest of your live in a cage. But now I will rest your pelt at the foot of my bed".

Sam is taken aback, "Ok, that is just gross", she says with a disgusted face.

"Well, Ghost boy, any last words?", Skulker asks.

"Just this", Phantom says as he stands up before doing hand gestures like patting his head and banging on his chest like Tarzan.

"What are you doing?", Skulker demands in confusion.

"Calling a friend", Phantom answers while scratching his ass.

Sampson then appears form high above with a roar and crashes onto Skulker

"You learned his language?", Sam asks in astonishment with a smile.

"Well, sure, all he does it this", Phantom answers while scratching his ass again.

Sampson was beating Skulker's ass while the teens cheer like it's a pro-wrestling match. Pieces of metal kept coming off, revealing that Skulker's exposed "skin" was synthetic armor, along with more parts of his body like his whole arm.

"But I still don't understand why a ghost needed a high-tech battle suit", Tucker comments on their foe as an arm lands before them.

They soon see Sampson completely tear Skulker apart with massive body looking metal parts flying pass them till Phantom catches the head.

"Let me go! I am Skulker! The Skulker!", they hear a high-pitch voice shout from within the hollow like cybernetic head, "Do you hear me? Fear me!", they could see what looked like little green legs sticking out of a port on the neck.

Phantom grabs it and takes it out while dropping the head to reveal a little green man with red irises, simplistic and cartoony in design like a hairless green Lorax sans his green eyebrows. He could also fit in the palm of their hands like a hamster or guinea pig due to how small he actually is.

"I am the greatest hunter in all of Ghost World", the real form Skulker claims, "You will all fear me"

"For someone that kept calling me a "child" and "boy", he has a serious case of a napoleon complex", Phantom comments before looking to Tucker, "Thermos, please".

Tucker smiles from beside him and aims the open Fenton Thermos at the little guy and beams him.

"You haven't seen the last of me! I shall capture you all! You shall all be mine. Mine, do you hear?!", Skulker cries out as he tries to flee from within the beam before he is sucked in.

Phantom lands on the ground as Jason once more.

"Cool, let's go home", Jason says to his friends.

"But you haven't get anything you could use for your report for extra credit", Sam reminds him.

"Ah, that's ok", Jason waves off before noticing tucker's stolen phone in perfect condition on the ground, "We stopped the bad guy, saved a gorilla. If that's all I got done, that's... Oh My God!", Jason exclaims as he glances back at Sampson to see a.. certain sight from his lowered position.

Later The Next Day, Casper High

Genius Magazine had published the ino Jason had discovered that Sampson was not a he but a she. Photoed on the cover was Jason with the newly discovered female purple-back with Maddie and Jack also with him, indirectly claiming him as a son to appear in the magazine.

Mr. Lancer lifts it up and reads it aloud to the class, "Brooding genius Daniel Gunn did what no other researcher dared to do. He got in close enough to this rare purple-back gorilla to realize Sampson was actually a Delilah", before lowering the magazine, "No one at that zoo ever bothered to see if it was a boy or a girl?", he asks in confusion.

"That's weird, huh?", Jason remarks, "Well, maybe they were respecting her privacy".

"Well, Gunn, I'm impressed once more by your work. Wanting to get your grades to remain high, you risked getting mailed by a gorilla", Mr. Lancer states before giving him his increased grades.

Class then ends and everyone sans Jason and his friends leave.

"Man that was such a pain in the ass for no reason", Jason remarks.

Soon, the trio hear a familiar ghostly moan.

"I am the Box Ghost", they then see the Box ghost floating nearby over a box of Mr Lancer's files on a shelf behind them, "and once I ampty you of your useless papers, your marvelous squareness shall be mine! Ha ha ha ha ha!"

"Hello, misplaced aggression", Jason remarks before going ghost.

"You got five minutes", Tucker informs with a smile.

"Four more than I need", Phantom claims before launching himself at the Box Ghost.

"Aah! Agh! Owww! Beware!", Box Ghost cries out in pain as his ass is beaten

Chapter End

AN: based on Danny Phantom episode "One of a Kind"

Yes, i used the Lorax to best describe the real form of Skulker because that was the best I could think of in shape.
