Chapter 5: Shane
Andrea's POV
He holds me in his arms after we've had sex. His fingers run through my blonde hair as I close my eyes.
"Arr you ever going to tell me your real name?" I asked, looking into his blue-green eyes.
"Philip Blake," he says, pulling me closer. His skin touching mine caused me to tremble. I felt so much better than I had in a while, but something felt off in my gut. Probably, his weird obsession with me.
"I like Philip. It sounds less formal. I feel less like your secretary when I use it. But I thought you never told," I teased him, getting out of bed again.
"Someone recently told me to never say never," he whispers into my ear.
"Maybe I should get dressed and make some breakfast. My sister will be up soon and will be hungry," I said, looking for an excuse to escape this bedroom.
"We can shower and get dressed together. I'll make breakfast. I am looking for a bigger place for us all to live together. You, your sister, the baby, and me," he says as we get up from bed.
"I wish her father were here," I said, touching my stomach.
"Your baby's father?" He asked, putting on his robe.
"Yes. His name was Shane Walsh. He was a cop in our old group. He really took care of my sister and me. I loved him for that. He would have loved this baby," I admitted.
"He sounded like a good person," he says softly.
"I am scared that having this baby will make losing Shane harder. And my survival will be harder too," I admitted.
"You don't have to choose between your baby and survival anymore. In Woodbury, you'll be taken care of. As my wife, you'll be the first lady, and you will be treated as royalty. So will your baby and sister," he promises.
"When will we get married?" I said, accepting the reality of my situation. He looked into my eyes, knowing that for now, I had accepted my new way of life.
"I wanted to get everything settled first, but with the baby on the way, I think the sooner the better. I am going to tell everyone it's our baby. Tomorrow afternoon is the plan. You can tell your sister today," he says calmly.
I nod in agreement. We then shower together, get dressed, and walk into the living room. He makes us eggs and pancakes for breakfast. After we eat, he leaves to do whatever he does all day.
"I'll be back this afternoon. I'll give you the day to talk to your sister," he says, kissing me in front of her.
"It's hard to believe we've only been here for a week. He has taken quickly to you," my sister says once we were alone.
"We will be married tomorrow. I am afraid that if I don't commit to a relationship, he will throw us out of Woodbury. And this is the safest we've been in a while," I tell her.
"I understand. I want to stay here. Even if he has come on a little strong, we've had food, hot showers, and a comfortable bed," Amy says, agreeing that I had to be with the Governor.
"I just wish I could be with Shane," I said, looking at the ground. My younger sister then pulled me into a big hug.
"I know," she whispers.
