As dawn crept up in Alola Ash was slowly waking up next to his wife as he then turned to his side and saw Fabia still sleeping on her back. Ash looked at his sleeping wife as he placed his hand on her tummy and gently rubbed it.
"I can't wait to meet you." Ash whispered softly.
" Me too."
Ash looked and saw that Fabia was awake and looking at him lovingly and placing her hand on his.
"Sorry did I wake you?" Ash asked as Fabia turned to her side.
"No, I just was laying with my eyes closed." Fabia said.
They just laid there for a while with Pikachu,Mimikyu at the edge asleep on their bed as they looked at each other lovingly until Fabia asked a question.
"Hey Ash, can you promise me something?" Fabia asked.
"Sure, what is it?" Ash said.
"Can you promise not to go crazy overprotective like you did when I was pregnant with Ashley." Fabia said as Ash was confused.
"What are you talking about? I wasn't that bad." Ash said as Fabia rolled her eyes.
"You insisted on pushing me in a wheelchair for the whole time I was pregnant." Fabia said.
"How was that being overprotective?" Ash asked.
"I wasn't even showing yet when you did that." Fabia said as Ash sighed.
"Ok fine I promise but only if you don't go baby proofing crazy ok." Ash said.
"I didn't go baby proofing crazy." Fabia said as Ash let out a small chuckle.
"You basically bubble wrap any sharp object or Pokémon that we have." Ash said.
"Ok I'll admit that I did go a little overboard." Fabia said.
"So, let's agree that we will both do the best for each other during this time." Ash said.
"Deal." Fabia said.
They then went in for a kiss but didn't last long as Ashley came running with and Zorua then got on the bed and started jumping, waking up Pikachu and Mimikyu.
"Time to wake up!" Ashley said.
"Arf!" Zorua said.
"Ashley calm down and stop jumping on the bed." Fabia said as Her daughter stopped.
"Now what's got you so excited so early in the morning?" Ash asked as Ashley smiled.
"It's a special day!" Ashley said happily, getting her parents curious.
"And what's special about today?" They both asked.
"It's Zorua's first Ketchum family breakfast and what makes it extra special is that Uncle Goh, Ant Lena and Larry are joining." Ashley said.
"Well then we better get things ready." Ash said.
They all got off the bed and made their way down the stairs to get breakfast at the guest house Goh and Lena were about to wake up.
(With Goh and Lena)
Goh and Lena were in bed naked with the blanket covering them as Lena was on her husband's chest and was waking up. She got up holding the blanket covering her. She then grabbed her clothes, got dressed and made her way to the room that Larry was in. Once there she went in and saw her son still sound asleep.
"Larry, it's time to wake up." Lena said as her son turned away.
"5 more minutes please mommy." Larry said still a little sleepy.
Lena couldn't help but smile at her son feeling lucky to have him. The reason she felt that way is because she never thought that she would ever have a loving husband or a beautiful son, so she was always thankful that she met Goh.
"If you don't get up then we will miss breakfast at Ashley's home." Lena said that got her son to get up.
"Oh yeah!" Larry said as Lena giggled at her son's excitement.
"Ok then get ready and meet me and daddy downstairs ok." Lena said as Larry nodded his head.
Lena then left the room and walked down the hallway and made her way down. Once she was down the stairs, she saw her husband fully clothed she then walked to him and gave him a kiss on the lips.
"What was that for?" Goh asked.
"Just because." Lena answered as she hugged him.
Goh hugged Lena back as they were doing that Larry came down ready to go. They then left the guest house and walked to the Ketchum house luckily it was a short walk once they were at the door Goh knocked on it and the one who answered was Ash.
"Hey good morning." Ash said.
"Morning." Goh and Lena said.
"Good morning uncle Ash, is Ashley awake yet?" Larry asked as Ash nodded.
"Yes, she is in the back playing with Zorua and the other Pokémon in the back if you want to join her." Ash said as Larry zoomed right past him.
"Larry you're supposed to…" Lena started but stopped once she saw her son was already gone.
"Sorry Ash." Goh said as Ash just shrugged it off.
"It's fine, come on in." Ash said.
As they went inside then made their way to the kitchen where Fabia there, they saw Fabia getting things ready as Fabia was getting ingredients she then turned around and saw Goh and Lena.
"Goh Lena good morning." Fabia said.
"Hey Fabia." Goh said.
"Good morning to you too." Lena said as Ash walked up to Fabia.
"Fabia let me help you with that." Ash said.
"It's fine I got this." Fabia said but Ash insisted on helping.
"I just want to help." Ash said.
"And I appreciate it, but I got this." Fabia said.
"But you always make breakfast so why not let me do it this time." Ash said as Fabia started to get annoyed.
"You promised that you wouldn't be overprotective." Fabia said.
"How is wanting to give you a break from cooking being overprotective?!" Ash said.
Ash and Fabia started to argue as Goh and Lena watched until Lena came between them to stop the fighting.
"Ok how about you guys stop before one says something they will regret." Lena said as Ash and Fabia stopped.
"Ok now how about Goh and Ash check on the kids while me and Fabia finished." She suggested.
"Ok." Ash said.
"Fine." Fabia said.
"Ok then let's go Ash." Goh said.
As Ash and Goh left to go check on Ashley and Larry while Lena helped Fabia with breakfast. As they got the things they needed Lena asked a question that surprised Fabia.
"So how does Ashley feel about becoming a big sister?" Lena asked As Fabia almost dropped the pancake batter.
"How did you know?" Fabia asked, wondering how Lena found out so quickly.
"It was easy you. First you had seconds at lunch which you never do. Second you couldn't walk 2 feet without stopping at one of the food stalls at the Pokémon school event." Lena said.
"Are you sure you're not a detective?" Fabia asked as they both giggled.
Meanwhile Ash and Goh made it outside where they saw Ashley and Larry. What Ashley and Larry were doing was playing fetch with Zorua and Pikachu.
"Ok Zorua now fetch!" Ashly said as she threw the ball.
"Arf!" Zorua said.
Zorua chased the ball then caught it with its mouth and ran back to Ashley. Ashley then took the ball from Zorua then gave it to Larry.
"Your turn Larry." Ashley said.
"Ok ready Pikachu?" Larry asked.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said as he got ready.
Larry then threw the ball with Pikachu chasing it he caught it and went back to Larry. As they continued playing with the Pokémon Ash and Goh watched them enjoying seeing their kids having fun as Goh said something.
"You know what Ash." Goh said.
"What?" Ash said.
"If you told me that we would marry girls from two different planets and have kids with them, well I would have called you crazy." Goh said as Ash smiled.
"Yeah, I'd probably have thought I was crazy as well." Ash said.
Ash and Goh continued to watch their kids have fun Playing with Pikachu and Zorua. Just then Ash's Espeon and a shiny Sylveon with 6 Eevee's came up and started to play with the kids.
"Hi Espeon,Hi Sylveon and baby Eevee's." Ashley said.
"Espe." Espeon said.
"Sylve." Sylveon said.
"Eevee!" The Eevee's said.
"They are all so cute." Larry said as the smallest Eevee jumped at him.
"Larry!" Goh shouted.
Goh then got up to check to see if his son was ok as he got to Larry, he heard his son laughing. Turns out that the little Eevee just wants to show his son some attention.
"Stop that tickles, Eevee." Larry said between laughs.
"Eevee!" Eevee said, still giving Larry attention.
"Eevee really likes you Larry." Ashley said.
Ash then came over and got the tiny Eevee off Larry as both its parents came up. Ashley and Larry then asked their father's why Fabia's Sylveon was a different color.
"Daddy why is mommy Sylveon a different color than other Sylveon?" Ashley asked Ash.
"Yeah, why is it daddy?" Larry asked Goh.
"Well that's because…" Ash started but didn't know the answer as then Goh spoke.
"As you both know that Pokémon come in all shapes and sizes and sometimes, they can come in different colors. Now does that answer your question you two?" Goh asked but Ashley and Larry shook their heads.
"But why?" Ashley and Larry asked together.
Ash and Goh exchange glances as they didn't know what else to say. As they tried to think of something Fabia came out and told them that breakfast was ready getting both of them to breathe a sigh of relief. As they went in Ash told them that he will join them after he feeds the Pokémon.
Once inside Fabia made plants for Ashley and Larry with chocolate chip pancakes Larry was excited but Ashley knew that the only time that her mother made these pancakes is when she had to go to the doctor or dentist. As they ate with Ashley still being wary Ash came in with the tiny Eevee following behind.
"Alright, Pokémon are fed and It's my turn." Ash said as he fixed him a plate.
As he ate the pancakes Larry told Fabia how much he's enjoying the food.
"These pancakes are really yummy Ant Fabia." Larry said, getting Fabia to smile.
"Why thank you Larry." Fabia said just then Eevee jumped in Larry's lap.
"Hi Eevee, do you want to try some?" Larry asked.
"Eevee!" Eevee said.
Larry then fed Eevee a piece as the tiny Eevee chewed it, he then got sparkly eyes at how tasty the pancake was. Everyone smiled at Eevee's reaction, but Fabia noticed Ashley had a sad look on her face.
"Ashley, is something wrong?" Fabia asked but Ashley didn't answer.
"Ashley you can tell me or mommy if something is bothering you?" Ash said as Ashley looked at her parents.
"I don't want to go to the doctor or the dentist." Ashley said, surprising her parents.
"We're not taking you to any of those places." Fabia said.
"You're not?" Ashley asked as Ash and Fabia shook their heads.
"What made you think that?" Ash asked.
"Because mommy only makes pancakes when I have to go." Ashley said.
Ash and Fabia looked at each other than at their daughter smiling at her. They then assured her that she was not going to the doctor or dentist making Ashley happy as she then went on to eat her everyone was done both families decided to go to the park.
(At the park)
As they arrived at the park Ashley and Larry went to the playground along with Zorua even the Eevee that really liked Larry came. Fabia and Lena sat at a bench and watching their kids play as Ash and Goh went and get some malasadas. As Fabia and Lena watch the kids Fabia let out a small laugh.
"What's funny?" Lena asked, wondering why her friend laughed.
"It's just did you ever think…Hold on Ashley slow down." Fabia said as she saw her daughter swing too fast.
"That we would be here talking and being friends and having kids." She finished as Lena smiled.
"No, I never thought…Larry if you climb up that slide you will be in big trouble." Lena said seeing her son trying to climb the slide the wrong way.
"No, I never thought that then again I never thought that I would marry a human." She said with a smile.
"True." Fabia said as they both giggled.
Fabia and Lena giggled for a while but went back to talking about various things. As they talked Ashley and Larry along with Zorua and Eevee watching their mothers.
"Why are Mommies so bossy?" Ashley asked.
"Maybe because they love us so much." Larry answered.
"Maybe but it's always Ashley don't do that or Ashley you will get a tummy ache if you eat too fast." Ashley said.
"What can we do until we are 10 and go on a journey? We have to listen to our Mommies and Daddy's." Larry said as Ashley just got an idea.
"Let's do it now!" Ashley said.
"Do what?" Larry asked.
"Go on a journey. I already have Zorua." Ashley said.
"Arf!" Zorua said.
"But I don't have a Pokémon?" Larry said but Ashley just smiled.
"Eevee can be your partner." Ashley said.
"But isn't Eevee your Mommy and Daddy Pokémon?" Larry asked.
"Mommy said when the Eevee's get bigger that they will give them to good trainers plus this Eevee really likes you." Ashley said as Larry looked at the tiny Eevee.
"Do you want to be my partner, Eevee?" Larry asked as Eevee jumped for joy.
"Eevee vee!" Eevee said.
"Now that's settled, let's go!" Ashley said but Larry stopped her.
"Wait!" Larry said as Ashley stopped.
"What now?" Ashley asked.
"Our Daddy's will be back with malasadas so can we go after that?" Larry asked.
Ashley thought about what her friend said and remembered that they had a whole bunch of fun things to do today.
"Ok we leave after malasadas and the fun stuff we have planned." Ashley said.
Ashley and Larry and the Pokémon went to their mothers to wait for their fathers. As Ash and Goh have just left the malasada shop and headed back to their wives and kids as they walk Goh was congratulating Ash on the baby.
"Baby number 2 bet you and Fabia can't wait." Goh said.
"We are. I just hope Ashley will be happy about it too." Ash said as Goh looked at his friend.
"Why wouldn't she?" Goh asked.
"Not every single child is going to be happy about getting a little brother or sister." Ash said.
"True but this Ashley we are talking about she will give Muk a hug if it was feeling sad." Goh said.
"You're right." Ash said.
Ash and Goh made it back to the others and started to hand out the malasadas with Fabia going to town on hers as soon as she got it. Ash was about to hand over a half of a malasada to his daughter until she said a classic 5-year-old line.
"Daddy I'm a big girl now I can eat a whole malasada by myself!" Ashley said as Ash smiled.
"I just thought you would like to share one with Zorua." Ash said.
"Ok." Ashley said as she took the malasada as Ash gave the other half to Zorua.
As they finished their malasadas and got ready to head to the next stop on their fun plan but Fabia suddenly threw up in a trash can nearby. Ash was worried and suggest that he and Fabia go home first Fabia was against it but threw up again that made her change her mind not wanting to ruin the fun for their daughter Ash asked if Goh and Lena could watcher Ashley and keep having fun witch they agreed as Ash and Fabia left.
(Back home)
At home Fabia was laying on the couch with a waist can by her side still feeling the morning sickness that suddenly came and was feeling drained. Ash then came from the kitchen with a cup of tea and a piece of toast.
"How are you feeling now?" Ash asked as he handed his wife the tea and toast.
"How do you think?" Fabia snapped without meaning too.
"Sorry." Ash said as Fabia sighed.
"No, I'm sorry you didn't deserve that." Fabia said as she took the tea and toast.
"It's fine, really this is just part of the deal with a baby on the way." Ash said as Fabia started to cry.
"You are so understanding. I'm so lucky to have you." Fabia said threw her tears as Mimikyu came to her side.
"Kyu." Mimikyu said.
"Oh, come here Mimikyu I need some cuddles." Fabia said as she picked up Mimikyu.
Ash and Pikachu stared at each other and then back at Fabia who was being comforted by then Ash's phone rang he picked it up and saw a familiar phone number.
"I got to take this Pikachu look after Fabia." Ash said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
Ash then left the room as Fabia stopped crying her phone also rang as she picked it up and saw she was getting a video call from her best friend May. Fabia answered as her Rotom phone floated and appearing on the screen was a 27-year-old May Maple or as she now known as May Vallory.
"Hey May." Fabia said as she wiped away her tears.
"Is everything alright?" May asked worriedly for her friend.
"Yes, I'm fine. I'm just going to be a little emotional for a while." Fabia said.
"May just looked at Fabia for a second until she realized something and gained a smile.
"Wait are you…" May started until her daughter came up calling for her.
"Mommy! Mommy!" Ally called.
"Ally one second I'm talking to Ant Fabia." May said but that got her daughter really excited.
"Really I want to talk with Ant Fabia two!" Ally said as she got on May's lap.
"Ally you can't just…" May started but stopped.
Appearing on the screen was a 5-year-old girl that looked like May but with orange hair.
"Hi Ant Fabia!" Ally said as Fabia smiled.
"Hi Ally, how are you?" Fabia asked
"I'm good and look I made Coredem pretty." Ally said as she showed her father's bakugan partner covered in glitter.
"My Coredem, that's a good look for you." Fabia said, trying not to laugh.
"Gee thanks." Coredem said as May picked her daughter up from her lap and set her down.
"Ally, go play with your brother Mommy needs to catch up with Ant Fabia." May said.
"I can't because Jj is playing with Daddy's Golem." Ally said with a smile.
"Ok then well I guess…Wait what!" May shouted at what her daughter just said.
"Sorry Fabia, talk to you later." She said as the phone call ended.
Fabia just gave a small smile then placed her hand on her tummy and rubbed it gently secretly hoping that she wasn't having twins. Ash then came back and sat down looking tired Fabia saw this and asked her husband what was wrong.
"Everything alright?" Fabia asked as Ash just sighed.
"Yeah, just not the call I was expecting." Ash said.
"Was it your mom?" Fabia asked.
"Yeah it was." Ash said.
"What did she want?" Fabia asked, already knowing the answer.
"Want to know if I'm ever going to bring Ashley to see her." Ash said.
"So the usual then." Fabia said.
"Yeah." Ash said as Fabia leaned her head on his shoulder.
"Maybe it is time for Ashley to meet her." Fabia said.
"No way!" Ash said as he got up.
"Don't you think Ashley should know her grandmother?" Fabia asked but Ash was against it.
"Ashley already has Burnett and you remember what happened at the baby shower." Ash said.
"I remember." Fabia said.
During the time Fabia was still pregnant with Ashley and everyone threw her a baby shower Fabia even invited Delia hoping that she would change her mind about her it didn't though. Delia complained about everything to the decorations, the food and everything she went as far as claiming that the baby wasn't Ash's. That last one got Ash so mad that he yelled at his mom and told her not to ever come back.
"It's been years, maybe we can give her a chance." Fabia said.
"Her chance was at the baby shower and she blew it." Ash said as he crossed his arms.
Fabia just looked at Ash seeing that he was serious about not letting his mother back into their lives but still felt like Delia deserved to know her granddaughter she was about to say something until the doorbell rang, she went to answer it and once she did there was Goh and Lena with the kids.
"Hey everyone, welcome back Ashley did you…" Fabia didn't get to finish as her daughter zoomed right past her.
Fabia was confused at why her daughter just went past her as She looked at her friends who shrugged.
"Well we better get back to the guest house. Larry time to say goodbye to Eevee." Lena said as her son nodded.
"Ok mommy. Goodbye Eevee." Larry said but Eevee didn't want the boy to leave.
"Eevee vee!" Eevee said as he tried to keep Larry from leaving.
"Eevee I have to go." Larry said as Eevee tugged at his sock Fabia gained a small smile.
"You know Larry the Eevee's are getting bigger and we do plan on giving them to some good trainers." Fabia said as Larry looked at his aunt.
"Yeah Ashley told me." Larry said.
"So if it's ok with your mommy and Daddy would you like to keep this Eevee?" Fabia asked.
"Really?!" Larry said as he looked at his parents hoping they would say yes.
Goh and Lena exchanged looks and then smiled and looked at their son then kneeled down to his level.
"As long as you take care of him." Goh said.
"And we don't mean by just playing with him you have to feed him and bath him two." Lena said.
"I promise!" Larry said.
Goh and Lena then told Fabia it was ok for Larry to keep Eevee getting the 5-year-old thank his parents and Fabia they then left as Fabia walked back she saw her Husband and daughter in the living room and as soon as she walked in Ashley ran up to her and said something she didn't expect.
"Mommy you lied!" Ashley said, shocking Fabia and Ash.
"What do you mean?" Fabia asked as she looked at her daughter.
"You said that the doctor will make you feel better but he didn't." Ashley said.
Fabia and Ash looked at each other and then at their daughter. Fabia then picked up Ashley and sat her down on the couch as she sat with her on one side and Ash on the other.
"I didn't lie, the doctor did help me and told me what was wrong." Fabia said as Ashley was confused as Ash then spoke.
"Remember Aunt Alice, Uncle Shun's wife?" Ash asked As Ashley nodded.
"And do you remember when she was going to have a baby?" Fabia asked as Ashley nodded again.
"Remember how her belly got bigger and ate a lot?" Ash said.
"Yes, I remember." Ashley said.
"Well that's what's happening to mommy right now." Fabia said, confusing Ashley.
"What do you mean?" Ashley asked.
"Well Ashley you see." Ash said as he looked at Fabia.
"You're going to be a big sister." They said together.
Ashley just sat there going over what her parents just told her. She remained like that for a while getting Ash and Fabia then got up and picked up Zorua.
"Ashley, didn't you hear us?" Ash said.
"Your going to be a big sister isn't that great." Fabia said but Ashley's reaction wasn't what they were hoping for.
"No!" Ashley shouted as she ran up the stairs.
"Ashley!" Ash said.
"Comeback." Fabia called as her daughter stopped mid way up the stairs.
"I won't be a big sister and you can't make me!" Ashley said as ran to her room and slammed the door.
Ash and Fabia just started at the stairs then at each other and then sighed. Fabia told Ash that Ashley just needed time Ash then nodded his head and hugged his wife they decided to head up and talk to Ashley again.
Hey happy 2025 just think in 19 more days I would be writing stories for a year. Some of you are probably wondering why I had Ashley react to what Ash and Fabia told her Well not every child is going to be happy about suddenly becoming an older sibling but in time she will grow to love being a big sister and please leave a review it will motivate me to write now review answering.
