Chapter 833: New month back to school.

(January 2. Royal Woods Middle School.)

Amanda has dropped off Lincoln at school, and he walks towards the school, and before he can even reach the doors, he is tackled by Jordan and they roll around the still snowy grass. "Dang it, you got me again" chuckled Lincoln.

Jordan smirks. "Yes, triumph and you didn't even see me coming." She then gets up and helps her boyfriend to his feet. "You feeling alright, Linc?"

Lincoln nods. "Yeah, I am. Things sure are gonna be different this year." They then go into the school and walk through the hallways, and then they meet up with their friends. "So, how did everything go for all of you last month, and the party?"

They all start talking about the things they have done, and the best fun moments they did with their families. Clyde even shows a photo of himself, on a snowboard with Nana Gale, and at the back is Harold and Howard passed out, they can tell Clyde had a ton of fun.

Then Jordan interrupts everyone and she speaks. "Everyone, listen up. So, this Saturday I am hosting a big Sleepover event, and if you guys don't have any plans then you're all invited. Alright?" They all liked this idea, and are hoping they won't be busy during that time.

Then Christina speaks. "Hey Linc, how normal is it for Pokémon evolution?"

This surprise and confuses everyone, and so Lincoln explains. "Evolution for Pokémon happens when they get stronger, or beat a stronger foe, or learned a new move, or just some other stuff that could happen. Why are you asking this?"

She then shows them a photo of herself, and Quillava and this surprises them. "My Cyndaquil evolved during New Year's Eve when we saw the fireworks show. I don't know how it all happened, and I was hoping you guys would tell me." They all didn't see this coming.

Jordan is baffled. "Huh, maybe he got inspired and awed by the fireworks show and it… Triggered him to evolve? This… I don't even know anymore."

Then Sid speaks. "My little sister's Froakie evolved into Frogadier when they were doing some karate sparring sessions, and then got a sparring session when some Mankey showed up to stir some trouble." They all remain silent, and didn't know that. Ronnie Anne nods, confirming that it did happen.

They all hear the school bell ring, and head off to class. Lincoln is still confused about what Christina said and he needs to talk to those who might know, perhaps his super hero counterpart.

(Royal Woods High School.)

Luna is walking through the hallway, and she goes to her locker, she then gets the books she needs, and then closes it and she sees Sam come over. "Hey Sam, so where are the others?" She then sees Nina, Sully and Mazzy go over to them. "So, what happened during New Year's Eve and the whole winter vacation guys?"

They had a whole lot to share to them. Nina enjoyed her Family Christmas get together, and she made a new friend who has been hiding in her backyard, a Chatot. They look out the window and see it, and this is a surprise.

Mazzy then speaks. "We had a blast with our families coming together for Christmas, it was like Thanksgiving all over again. But then came New Year's Eve and I had to try and help keep Sully awake after he took the dare and gobbled down a whole tub of ice cream." Sully chuckles nervously.

The others chuckle hearing this. Then Sam asks. "So, ready for the big wedding that your moms are gonna have?"

"Dang right I am, and it is gonna be a big one" replied Luna, and they all walk alongside together. "They told us the date and where it will happen, but the one thing we are worried about is who might show up and ruin the whole event. I know that they have a plan to defend the whole thing, but I feel like we need some more backup. Which is why I have this plan, to ask for some help from our hero counterparts."

Sam likes hearing this. "Now that right there is a plan, and who knows, we might even ask them about this Cyn person who sang that song we heard last month."

Nina then asks. "Hey, if you guys are gonna meet these hero counterparts, can I see them too?"

Mazzy then asks. "Also, we wanna know who this Cyn person is and the song as well."

Sully then asks. "You guys didn't even tell us about this new song, and we wanna know how it sounds."

Luna and Sam smirk, and thankfully Luna has a CD with the song they heard called "LET ME IN" by Cyn, and then they head off to their classes. But then they are shocked to see Assistant Principal Oliver has a cast on his right arm and he walks away feeling upset.

"Whoa, what the heck happened to him?" asked Sam. I guess they'll never get any answers from that one. Then she asks Luna. "Also, are your mom's gonna have us be the musical performers or are they hiring some others for that one?"

Luna thinks about this. "Huh, good question, and they never confirmed to me about that one too." She needs to ask them when she gets back home later.
