Seduction and Hunt
"Come any closer, and I'll cut you down!" Kagome's voice rang out, sharp and defiant, as she gripped Tessaiga tightly. The blade glowed faintly in her hands, its power resonating with her determination.
Sesshomaru stood across from her, his golden eyes narrowed in both surprise and disdain. "A human girl… wielding my father's sword?" he murmured, his tone icy. Beside him, Jaken sputtered, waving his staff frantically. "This is outrageous! Master Sesshomaru, surely this is some mistake!"
Inuyasha growled, stepping forward. "Kagome, give me the damn sword! You don't know what you're doing!" But Kagome held firm, her gaze locked on Sesshomaru. She could feel the tension in the air, thick and suffocating, as the two half-brothers faced off once more.

Two weeks earlier, the wounds of that encounter were still fresh. Sesshomaru's left arm had been severed by Inuyasha's strike, a deep blow to not just his body but his pride. He had retreated to the outskirts of his father's grave, nursing his injuries and his simmering anger. Jaken, ever the dutiful servant, had scrambled to find a way to ease his master's mood.
"Master Sesshomaru," Jaken began hesitantly, bowing low. "I've discovered a hot spring nearby. Its waters are said to have… special healing properties."
Sesshomaru regarded him with a cold stare, the silence stretching for an uncomfortably long moment. Finally, he spoke. "You waste my time with trivialities." But despite his words, he allowed himself to be led to the spring, if only to placate his persistent retainer.
The hot spring was nestled in a secluded grove, its steam rising into the cool night air. Sesshomaru stepped into the warm waters, the heat soothing his aching body. His mind, however, remained troubled. A human girl… how could she wield Tessaiga? The question gnawed at him, a thorn in his pride.

Meanwhile, Naraku watched from the shadows, his smirk hidden behind his mask. The Shikon Jewel shard in his hand pulsed darkly, its corruption seeping into the air. "With Sesshomaru weakened, now is the perfect time to strike," he mused. He had crafted a plan, one that would pit the demon lord against his enemies while he reaped the rewards.
He approached the hot spring, his demeanor calm and unthreatening. "Lord Sesshomaru," he greeted, bowing slightly. "I've come to offer my assistance."
Sesshomaru's eyes flicked toward him, suspicion etched in every line of his expression. "Your kind is not welcome here," he said coldly.
Naraku chuckled softly. "Ah, but we share a common enemy, do we not? That human girl who dares to wield your father's sword… she is a thorn in both our sides."
A tense silence followed as Sesshomaru considered his words. Jaken shifted nervously, glancing between the two powerful figures. Finally, Sesshomaru gave a slight nod. "Speak your piece, then leave."

At the same time, Kagome wandered through the forest, her green school uniform a stark contrast to the ancient surroundings. She had slipped away from the others, seeking a moment of peace. The sound of rushing water caught her attention, and she followed it eagerly.
She found herself at the edge of a large hot spring, its surface shimmering invitingly. "Wow, this looks amazing!" she exclaimed, setting her bag down. Unaware of the three pairs of eyes watching her intently, she began to undress.
Sesshomaru froze as Kagome peeled off her uniform, revealing the modern undergarments beneath. His gaze lingered on the purple butterfly tattoo on her waist, a mark unlike anything he had seen before. "What is this…?" he thought, his usual composure faltering. Jaken gaped openly, his small brain struggling to process the sight. Even Naraku raised an eyebrow, intrigued by her boldness.
Kagome tied her hair up into a high ponytail and stepped into the spring, sighing contentedly as the warm water enveloped her. The fragrant scent of orchids filled the air, lingering around her like a natural perfume.
For a moment, there was only the sound of the bubbling water and the rustle of leaves in the wind. Then, Sesshomaru broke the silence, his voice low and dangerous. "Human girl… do you understand the danger you've walked into?"
Kagome's eyes widened as she turned to face him, her heart pounding. "Sesshomaru? What are you doing here?"
Jaken puffed out his chest, pointing his staff at her. "How dare you intrude upon Lord Sesshomaru's private retreat!"
Naraku stepped forward, his smile smooth and calculating. "Now, now… no need for hostility. This could be an opportunity for us all."
Kagome backed away instinctively, her mind racing. What's going on? Why are they here together?
Sesshomaru rose from the water, his imposing figure casting a shadow over her. "You've meddled in affairs beyond your understanding, girl. Perhaps it's time you learned the consequences."
Kagome's breath hitched as he closed the distance between them, his golden eyes burning with intensity. She could feel the power radiating from him, both terrifying and mesmerizing.
"Wait," she stammered, holding up a hand. "I didn't mean—"
But Sesshomaru cut her off, his voice a whisper that sent shivers down her spine. "Too late."
The steam from the hot spring clung to Kagome's skin as she stood frozen, her heart pounding in her chest. Sesshomaru's presence was overwhelming, his golden eyes locked onto hers with an intensity that made her feel like prey caught in a predator's gaze. The scent of orchids mingled with the mineral-rich air, and for a moment, neither of them moved.
"You're bold," Sesshomaru said, his voice low and smooth, like a blade sliding through silk. His right hand—his only hand now—hovered near her cheek, close enough for her to feel the heat radiating from it. "Too bold for your own good."
Kagome swallowed hard, her mind racing. She knew she should be afraid, but there was something about the way he looked at her—something that stirred a forbidden curiosity deep within her. What on earth am I doing? she thought, yet her body refused to back away.
"I-I didn't mean to intrude," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I just wanted to—"
"And yet here you are," he interrupted, his tone cutting through her words like a sharpened claw. He leaned in closer, his breath warm against her cheek. The faint scent of orchids seemed to envelop her completely, intoxicating and impossible to ignore. "Do you know what happens to those who trespass where they don't belong?"
Kagome's breath hitched as his fingers brushed against her jawline, tracing a path down to her neck. Her skin tingled at the contact, and she found herself leaning into his touch despite the warning bells ringing in her head. This is dangerous, she thought. Why does it feel so… right?
Sesshomaru's lips curved into a faint smirk, as if he could read the conflict brewing inside her. "You're trembling," he murmured, his voice dripping with amusement. "Afraid?"
"N-no," Kagome lied, her voice shaky. Sh
