Chapter 20
"I have more money then i will never need."
"I need only best most qualified working on my daughter." Brooke proclaimed.
Her chance of suvival was less then 50 percent.
But Brooke fought everyday to make sure she got all the care possible.
One day turned to another then slowly weeks began to pass by.
You started off with skin fragile, shiny, translucent. Eyes closed.
Soon weeks turned to months. Eventually you made it to 7 months.
You were strong enough and stable enough to head home.
We had a private and very special celebration for you.
Everyone closest to us.
You meeting Silas and Wilde was a heart melting moment.
They were 8 now.
Watching you and you're mom together was more beautiful then i could express.
Then when everyone was gone and the boys were taking a needed nap in their room.
It was finally my turn to hold you and spend some time together.
You are so beautiful. Dark hair hazel eyes.

Me and you hung out in you're nursery for awhile.
I cradled and rocked you. Told you stories.
Until you fell asleep in my arms.
My heart was yours and I think you knew that.
I awoke feeling a kiss on my lips.
I smiled locking eyes on Brooke.
"You could of left. I have the baby monitor on."
"But thanks for being here for me. Sage. The boys. In only the way you can." Brooke said.
"You have nothing to thank me for. I want to be here. Nowhere else." Lucas proclaimed.
