[We're back everyone! I hope everyone had an awesome holiday and New Year. Just to let you all know, my Mystery Dungeon stories might be a bit delayed for a bit. My phone where I had the chapters decided to delete them out of nowhere, making me lose a chapter and a half of the main story as well as the entirety of the next Special Episode. Yes, it was very annoying but it's a good thing that I still had an idea of how the chapters go. ANd so this never happens again, I moved the files to another more stable place. I hope to get out some more chapters to you guys within the near future. As always, I hope you all enjoy. Note: I do not own the show or cover art, only my OCs and some plot. Chapter 4: Part 2

(Worlux)

Well this is just great. This girl must have a serious case of bad luck. I thought, looking down at the terrified looking Eagle who found herself at the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Well well well, nice catch Willix." Waks said to a smirking Willix. The Eagle girl, who looked to be around my age if not than a bit younger, then looked towards me again which allowed me to look into her sky blue eyes and face. Something about her really stood out to me and I didn't know what. Whatever it was though made me not wanna take my eyes off her. She suddenly began scooting back in order to get away from us, only to end up hitting a wall. Now with her back to the wall and all of us in front of here, she truly had nowhere to go.

"P-please don't hurt me." She sobbed with a gentle tone in her voice.

"So what're we going to do with the little chick?" The Croc soldier asked.

"What do you mean? We'll just knock her out like we did with the other guards and the king." I stated, pointing out the obvious.

"I think we should take this one out." Willix stated maliciously with a smirk. This statement caught me off guard, causing me to snap my attention to him and see him pull out a Wolf Sword. "Let's send a message to those eggheaded birds that they shouldn't help those Lions."

"No!" The Eagle yelled out, pressing herself further against the wall in fear as Willix took a step forward and raised his sword up to swing.

The hell! I thought in a panic. Seeing how no one else was going to stop Willix, the others seemingly okay with this senseless killing, I moved quickly to grab his arm and hold him in place before thinking about the consequences.

"What do you think you're doing, bitch pup!?" Willix growled, trying to pull away but I continued to hold him in place.

"What're you doing you psycho!? Killing her won't help us in any way, in fact it might harm us." I said, pushing him away and standing in front of the Eagle. "This girl is defenseless, tied up, and unarmed. There's no point in putting her through any harm."

What good will killing an innocent accomplish? Just more unnecessary bloodshed.

"Ugh, buzzkill." The Croc Soldier groaned, the scout agreeing with him.

"Then maybe I'll just kill you first and cut her up afterwards." Willix growled, taking a step up to me though I held my ground.

"Fucking try it." I warned in a low, threatening tone before we began growling at each other.

"Enough you two!" Wake yelled, marching up and pushing the two of us away from each other. He then held up a hand to Willix. "Hand me that sword, Willix."

"What!? This is bullshit!" Willix complained but still obeyed. I internally sighed, thanking that someone had a cool head on this mission.

"Worlux, kill the chick." Waks stated simply, handing Willix's sword to me by the handle.

"Wait, what!?" I yelled in surprise, looking down at the sword.

"Consider this a test and an order soldier. Prove to us you can kill your prey." Waks stated, poking me with the sword handle and forcing me to grab it. He then grabbed me by my shoulder and forced me to look towards the Eagle, now looking even more terrified than before. "Get it done soldier, we still have chi to steal."

"Oh fuck yeah! Do it, bitch pup!" Willix yelled, the Crocs encouraging me as well. I was far from encouraged or enthusiastic about doing this. This went against everything I stood for as a Wolf. I could never hurt a defenseless and undeserving animal, especially the Eagle girl. She didn't deserve this, she honestly looked to be the most innocent animal I have ever come across. I tried to steal my nerves as I raised the sword over my head, causing her to shake and flinch. My arms started to shake as hesitation and self-restraint kept me from striking her, something she may have noticed as a look of confusion appeared on her face.

"Freeze! Drop the chi and let the girl go!" A Lion soldier, one of the two we knocked out at the entrance, yelled, running out the hallway with two other Lions. All of sudden, Lions jumped out from behind pillars and the other hallways in front of us.

Shit, looks like this Eagle just got her luck back.

(Elyda)

I watched as the Wolf in front of me raised the sword slowly over his head preparing to swing it down on me. At this point, I was regretting showing up here at this point as my life flashed before my eyes, thoughts of my dad, Eaglan, and Eregor filling my mind as I slowly began to accept my fate.

I won't even be able to say goodbye to all of them…

I started to feel myself shake more and tears began flowing from my eyes until I noticed something, he was hesitating. And I can see that he was second guessing on doing this by the way his arms shook. This confused me and made me think that there was more to this Wolf than the ruthless soldiers most made themselves out to be.

"Freeze! Drop the chi and let the girl go!" A now awake Leonidas yelled. All of a sudden, he and 10 other lions came from behind pillars and out of the hallway into the sacred pool chamber.

"And if we refuse?" The older Wolf leader said defensively.

"Then you're all going to get the sharp end of our swords. Now drop the chi, your weapons, and let the girl go!" Leonidas ordered back as the Lions readied their weapons.

As the Wolves and Lions continued their argument, the Wolf with the sword had lowered it before looking at me, then at the Wolves, then back at me again before going behind me and began cutting the ropes off of me.

"W-what are you doing?" I said quietly, shocked and surprised.

"Obviously getting you out of this rope so you can get out of here." The Wolf whispered. "You gotta stay quiet or else they'll notice. If that happens then we'll both be in deep trouble."

"But wouldn't you be worse off? Why go through the trouble for me?" I questioned further.

As grateful as I was for being freed, doing it at the expense of possibly someone's life didn't sit right. Plus, why would a Wolf want to free some random Eagle girl who he never met.

Before he could give an answer, the rope snapped off and I was able to move my upper body again.

"No time to explain, just get out of here. Stay quiet and get to safety." The Wolf said.

"Tha-." I was going to thank him but he stopped me by gently closing my beak with two fingers. The move made my breath hitch and my heart skip a beat at his suddenness.

"Trust me, I'm the last person you should be thanking. Now go, the hallway next to us should be clear." He ordered again as he took his hand away from my mouth. I only nodded this time before I turned around and began crawling quietly towards the hallway he pointed out. Once getting there, I turned around to see him still looking towards me. I mouthed "thank you" before disappearing into the hallway, getting far enough to where I could safely begin running to safety. Soon enough, four figures appeared ahead of me and I immediately knew who they were and started rushing to them. It was Dad, Laval, Eris, and Lagravis, with Dad running up to me as well and pulling me into a hug.

"Elyda, you're alright! Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Dad questioned rapidly, breaking the hug and looking me over frantically.

"I'm fine Daddy, just a little shaken up." I stated before he stopped and sighed in relief.

"What's going on in there?" Laval asked. I told them Wolves and Crocs were trying to rob the chi but didn't tell them about the wolf who saved me. Part of me didn't want to tell that and should keep it a secret to not get him caught by the other Wolves.

"They won't be getting away with this, we better get in there and help the others." Laval said before running in with Eris and Lagravis.

"Don't kill them please!" I yelled out, hoping they heard and doubly hoping this could end peacefully without hurting anyone too badly, especially the one who got me out of there.

"You should head home and rest, I'll be home soon after making sure things are calmed down here." Dad said. I responded with a nod before he ran in after the others. I flew back to my plane and took off for the Eagle Spire, trying to calm myself from what I just went through and hoping that Wolf will be okay.

(Worlux)

I watched as the Eagle girl crawled away and up to her escape hallway, even seeing her turn back and mouth a thank you before disappearing.

Heh, I thought I said not to thank me. I don't deserve that shit.

I let out a quiet sigh of relief before turning back to the argument, lucky that no one noticed me.

"We'll be getting out of here with the chi! We stole this stuff fair and square!" Willix yelled.

"There's nothing fair about stealing, especially when you knock us out and sneak in like cowards!" The head Lion yelled back.

"Cowards!? You watch your mouth fur-brains." Our Croc soldier yelled.

"You're trapped anyways! Just give up." The head Lion said.

"Doesn't matter, we got a hostage! One wrong move and she gets it." Willix said maliciously with a smirk. When he said this, I got slightly panicked as now I had to come up with a reason as to why the Eagle girl was gone. As I thought this, I picked up a few unknown scents coming from the Eagle girl's direction. Quickly turning around, the Lion king and prince along with two different Eagles came around the corner.

"Now you're completely surrounded! Y'all gave it a good try though." The prince snidely remarked, a serious expression on his face as he quickly unsheathed his sword and pointed it up close to me.

"Oh shit." Was all I could say.

"*growls angrily* What did you do, bitch pup!? You had one fucking job but YOU let her escape! How could you be this incompetent!?" Willix yelled in anger.

"They must've snuck in and freed her whilst everyone was arguing." I stated, still at sword point. And you're one to talk about being in incompetent."

"Enough!" The Lion King yelled, bringing all of our attention to him. "Just drop the chi and your weapons and we'll let you go quietly."

"You're lucky we're showing mercy, especially with what you've done today." The prince said, the rest of the Lion guards moving in closer with their spears raised.

"M-maybe we should listen, I mean no harm done right heh heh." The Croc scout said nervously.

"Grrrrr fine." Waks said, dropping his bag of chi and Wolf gun from his back.

"Okay okay, I'm putting it down." I said dropping the sword to the ground. The Crocs did the same, leaving only one person to do it...Willix.

Oh he's trying to get us killed at rate.

"Drop it Willix, it's over." Waks order begrudgingly.

"*growls* FINE! You're fucking bitch pups for this!" Willix yelled but complied.

"Now go before we change our minds. Or you can try something else, I'm always down to deliver a good butt kicking." The Lion prince said snidely. Us Wolves and Crocs walked out the Sacred Pool and into the hallway, constantly being flanked by the Lion soldiers. It was a bit humiliating, sure, but at least we were alive and no one got killed. We crossed the archway leading outside and went straight to the stairs.

"I can't believe we just left it all back there like that, we could've taken them easily. This was all your fault Worlux." Willix said behind me.

"Excuse me, my fault?" I questioned, stopping on the stairs and glaring up at him.

"We could've gotten away with everything if you would've just killed the bird-brain bitch and been done with it. Then you let her escape so yeah, it's your fucking fault!" Willix yelled.

"Killing her wouldn't have changed shit! The guards were well on their way to us by the time we captured her! Plus, if we did kill her, we'd all probably be dead in the Sacred Pool right now!" I yelled back before we both began growling threateningly at each other.

"Enough, both of you!" Waks yelled, shutting us both up and getting us to continue following him down the stairs. "Worlux is right, we were there for too long before the Eagle girl showed up and the guards were already on their way. At least we're all alive. Worlux, you did fuck up in not keeping your eyes on the Eagle girl."

"Fine…" I sighed, not arguing with him.

"What?! You too!? Tsk, Worriz would've stood his ground and fought those pansies." Willix continued to complain as we reached the bottom of the stairs, leaving us on the wide open grassland that nearly surrounded the Lion Temple complex. After a few minutes of walking in silence, Willix clicked his teeth and spoke up again. "You know what? Fuck this."

Confused by this statement, I turned around just in time to see Willix let out a big and loud howl, this howl signaling the Wolf and Croc armies waiting in the tree line that we were captured and/or it's time to attack.

"Oh no…" I said in shock as the Wolf and Croc armies began charging out the trees, towards the Lion Temple. The scene caused Willix to laugh loudly, causing me to face him again in anger. "What have you done!?"

"Getting my get back on those fucking Lions. We're not leaving without some satisfaction." Willix laughed maniacally. I wanted to punch him but looking behind him, I saw Lions racing out of the complex, building up to be their whole army, with all of them armed to the teeth.

"*growls* We'll deal with this later. Everyone, start running to the tree line before we get blasted. At double time!" Waks yelled, everyone quickly obeying.

(Worriz)

"How long does it take to steal chi? Your Wolves should be back by now!" Cragger growled, rapidly tapping his foot, impatient as usual as we waited on our Speedors.

"I'm sure they'll be back soon, let's just hope they didn't get caught." I said. I love a fight as much as the next guy but I only brought a quarter of my pack with me. The rest are back at the camp because I didn't think the need for us to attack would arise, especially because our side was at a severe disadvantage without the Ravens backing us. Plus, with Waks leading the mission, things should go smoothly. All of a sudden though, the alarm howl sounded from the temple.

Damnit, looks like I spoke too soon.

"Looks like your Wolves need a hand. Crocs, charge!" Cragger yelled, leading the Croc army in a charge toward the temple.

"Wolves, attack! Focus on retrieving our guys!" I yelled as I raced off with the rest of my Wolves following. When we got into the clearing lions started pouring out of the temple. And there were a lot of them. Not only that, a loud Lion roar sounded off from the temple, causing me to click my teeth in annoyance.

Laval… Must've called for reinforcements. If we stick around, we'll be surrounded and bombed. I thought as I quickly caught up to Cragger and yelled to him. "Cragger, we're not going to be able to beat the many Lions and Laval just signaled for the Eagles and Gorillas! We have to retreat as soon as we get our team!"

"What retreat!? We're not retreating! Especially when I'm so close to getting my revenge!" He yelled, his eyes flashing red for a brief moment. As soon as he said that, a pulsor shot from a lion cannon on the complex hit two croc tanks and a wolf tank at the same time, knocking all three out of the fine. "Grrrr fine! But take out as many Lions as you can!"

I nodded and pulled away back to my Wolves, starting to search for Waks and the rest of the infiltration team. I soon saw them running across the clearing and signaled Winzar to go get them.

(Worlux)

"Fuck!" I yelled as a pulsor round whizzed just inches from the top of my head. We continued running across the clearing, dodging pulse shots coming from every direction. Out of nowhere, the Croc scout got shot through the back of the leg, causing him to scream out in pain and fall to the ground. The soldier ran up to him to see if he was okay as 5 Lions on Speedors raced towards us, one had a chi grenade in his hand. He tossed it at us and, whether by impressive aim or dumb luck, it landed on the scout.

"Grenade! Everyone scattered!" I yelled as Willix, Waks and I jumped away as the grenade went off. The explosive blast knocked me head first into a rock. I was okay but my head was now bleeding and the blood was covering my eye. Dizzily, I looked over to where our Croc partners were and found that the soldier got blown in half and was now a lifeless half-body on the ground. The scout was completely gone and the Lions continued towards us only to be shot at by Winzar who was driving towards us in a Wolf tank. He managed to hit three, destroying them while the others retreated back to safety.

"Come on guys, get on! We're getting out of here!" Winzar yelled. I tried to get on first but Willix used me to pull himself up and forced me to fall to the ground. I growled at him as I got up before Waks helped me up on the tank. Once we were all on, Winzar let Worriz know that he got us and Worriz let out a big howl that signaled a retreat. Everyone quickly raced back into the tree line and just as quickly as it started, the fight was over.
