I was so lost and proud.
Days Later
Lucas finished plating breakfast around the table. And went over to sit down. Wondering what was taking Brooke so long.
Especially since normally she was up before him.
"Dad do we have grandparents?" Wilde asked.
Lucas looked up and towards his son.
"My parents are in heaven have been for a long time."
"You're mom's parents live in New York." Lucas replied.
The brothers looked to each other.
"Why haven't we seen or met them before?" Silas asked.
"That's for her to talk about if she wants too." Lucas replied.
"I'm ready for school!" Sage exclaimed. As she came downstairs. Colorful with her clothing. With her backpack on her back.
Lucas smiled warmly. "Let me double check. What you have and make you're lunch." He replied.

Brooke finished getting dressed. Turning off her cellphone.
"I'm not sure if you get any of these messages or if this is still you're number. I just need you to know."
"I've changed and i hope you will be open to me showing you that." Julian proclaimed.
His words going around in circles. She hadn't heard his voice in four years and she was okay with never hearing it again. That voicemail awoke something in her she thought was buried.
He did so much damage what was he trying to accomplish.?
She knew the answer she wanted his attention. A reaction.
"Is everything okay?" Lucas asked. Entering their bedroom.
Brooke nodded her head in agreement. Leaning over to kiss him hard.
Lucas engulfed her into a hug. Holding her securely in his arms. As the two made their way downstairs to have breakfast.
It was better if Lucas never knew about this. Brooke decided.

Sometime Later
Clothes over Bros
As much as she loved talking to and helping her customers. She loved her downtime. And was looking forward to closing up to leave the store and have lunch with her girlfriends. Her clothing line had more going for it now then it ever did.
She had a boys line. A teen line. A baby/toddler. A child line. Her success had grown in so many ways. It humbled her at times. The support she had from her fans.
"I didn't expect to run into you so soon." A voice said.
Brooke looked up as she left the register. Her stomach flipping at the sight of Julian.
"This is where i work. You leaving me messages is bad enough."
"I didn't respond back to you which means. I want nothing to do with you." Brooke proclaimed.
"You can feel however you want. But we created a daughter together."
"Sage right? All dark hair and eyes. I've seen pictures and video clips online. We existed Brooke."
"You can't deny that she was a product of our relationship." Julian proclaimed.
