Everything Changed
Chapter 23
"She isn't you're daughter. You have selective memory."
"You never wanted a child. Leave now before i call the police." Brooke warned.
"If that's the way you want i'll leave Tree Hill. But i want to see her in person." Julian proclaimed. Before leaving.
Brooke quickly locked up and left her store.
She drove straight to the office building where Lucas worked.
Made her way to his office and entered the room. Closing the door behind herself.
Lucas got up from his seat and went over to her.
Something was ovviously wrong.
But Brooke wouldn't explain much on the phone.
"It started with Julian leaving me a voicemail. I thought that was it. But then he showed up at my store."
"He knows about Sage. He said i can pretend we never happened she's proof that we did."
"He said he won't leave town until he gets to meet her in person."
"This can't actually be happening." Brooke said.
Lucas took her in his arms.
"How did he get out of prison already? He almost killed you and almost killed Sage. This is wrong." Lucas proclaimed.
"He's rich with a high profile lawyer. Me and Sage survived without lasting injuries."
"I'm not letting him anywhere her. He's free by law he served his time. But he isn't going to take no for an answer we both know that." Brooke replied.
"We are going to go to the police and make sure he doesnt have any access going forward."
"Don't worry or stress about this."
"I will keep this family safe you know that." Lucas said.
Brooke felt him wrap her in his arms securely.
Her stomach in knots. Her senses on overdrive.
She clung to him tighly. Feeling tears well up in her eyes.
