The Falcon landed at Alpha and the group made their way to the medical center. They placed Padme's body in the bed beside the one Anakin was in. The psychologist spoke to Koeing. "The jedi didn't teach him to control his emotions. They told him to keep them bottled up. That failed when all that bottled up pain burst causing him to attack Mace Windu and fall to the dark side as well as the fear of losing Padme. "Dr Alasia said. "Palpatine is coming here. "Helena said. Yoda went to see Anakin in the observation room.
"Wrong we worried about seeing your future. Wrong it was for you not to take the trials. Failed you we did. 'Yoda said. "It is too late for that. "Anakin replied. "Not too late. Heal you I will. "Yoda said as Luke put him onto Anakin's bed. "You told me to late my selfish attachment to my wife rather than save her. "Anakin said. "The selfish attachment was to your fear not your wife. Wrong I was for not explaining it. "Yoda said. Yoda touched Anakin's forehead and started to heal him. His wounds disappeared and some of his hair reappeared.
Yoda and the twins went to main mission. "Controlling your moon's movement in our galaxy the force is. "Yoda said. "Is the force responsible for the accident that blew us out of orbit? "Koeing asked. "No. An accident that was. "Yoda replied. "Palpatine is approaching and wants to talk to you commander. "Sandra said. Palpatine appeared on the big screen. "Commander I am coming to deal with lord Vader. Allow me to land. "Palpatine said. "You will not be allowed to land here. "Koeing warned. "Fool! I will force my way into your base. "Palpatine growled. "Shoot that shuttle down! "Koeing ordered. Two laser equipped eagles fired on the shuttle as Palpatine blocked the shots with the force. Palpatine's shuttle landed on a pad. Then the pad was lowered into the hanger below because it didn't have a docking port. Koeing, Helena, and several security men waited in the hanger.
"Where is Vader? "Palpatine growled. "Safe from you. We know about the lies you told him and the manipulation you used on him. How you tricked him into killing his wife with lies and failed to treat the injuries he sustained. We won't let you near him. "Koeing replied. "Fools you are no match for the power of the dark side. "Palpatine growled as he choked Koeing. "Open fire! "Helena shouted as the security men fired their laser on stun. Palpatine released Koeing as he fell to the floor. Helena grabbed him. "Come on let's get to medical. "Helena said as she helped Koeing towards the travel tube. Palpatine force pushed the security men out of the way as Koeing and Dr Russel reached the travel tube and entered it. As Palpatine reached to open the door the travel tube started moving away from the area. He was too late.
Helena helped Koeing from the travel tube to the medical center. She helped him on to a bed. Helena started checking Koeing out. Koeing was not injured from the force choke. "John you will be fine. No long tern damage from being choked. "Helena said. Helena went to the monitor on the information kiosk when it beeped. Sandra appeared on the screen. "Dr Russel. Palpatine is heading towards medical centers. He is pushing the security men aside. "Sandra said. "It's me he is after. Let me deal with him. "Anakin said as he got up. "You are in no condition to leave. "Helena said. "I have to go and stop him. Tell your security men to let him through. "Anakin said as he walked out of medical center.
Palpatine was nearing the medical center when Anakin stopped in front of him. "Palpatine! You used me! You made me kill me own wife for nothing. Now you will fall! "Anakin shouted. "You are a fool. You could have ruled the galaxy with me. "Palpatine growled. "Liar! I will not be your slave anymore. "Anakin replied. Anakin ignited his lightsaber. "You choose the wrong path. "Palpatine growled as he ignited his red lightsaber. The two clashed. Palpatine charged Anakin who blocked Palpatine's strike. Anakin swung at Palpatine who blocked it causing saber lock. They charged back and forth to no avail. Helena and Koeing watched the monitor in medical center. "Anakin can't beat him. They are evenly strong. "Koeing said. "Where did that body go? "A nurse asked. Helena turned and saw the observation room was empty and Padme's body was no where to be seen. Anakin sliced Palpatine's lightsaber in half. After he thew what was left of the weapon away Palpatine fired force lightning at Anakin knocking him down. Anakin cried in pain on the floor. "Your feeble skills are no choice for the power of the dark side. "Palpatine growled. "Help me somebody! "Anakin screamed. Suddenly a blaster shot hit Palpatine. "Die monster! This is for all the pain you caused for our family. "Padme shouted. "Angel how are you here? "Anakin asked. "I don't know. I just woke up in the medical center and found you here. "Padme said. Padme was holding an Alpha blaster gun set to stun. Palpatine turned to attack her, and Anakin struck him down. "NNNOOOOOO!" Palpatine shouted as blue lightning flashed from his body. Palpatine's body shock as he died and turned into ash. Anakin and Padme hugged and kissed. Koeing, Helena, and Professor Bergman came running into the hall.
"What happened to him? "Helena asked while looking at the ash that remained of Palpatine. "All that dark side energy he was channeling was released when Anakin killed him. "Professor Bergman explained. Sandra called Koeing and he answered her on his commlock. "The rebels are reporting there is infighting between imperial units. The Empire is falling apart. "Sandra said. "Contact the rebel base on Yavin IV. We are going there. "Koeing said and then he put away his commlock. They headed to main mission where Luke and Leia were waiting. "Those are our children Padme. Luke and Leia. "Anakin said. "Mother? How? "Leia asked. "Revived by Anakin she was. "Yoda said. "How did I do that? I was thinking about her when Palpatine knocked me down. "Anakin replied.
Koeing stood up in front of the desks and a bell rang just as he was about to speak. "We are going to begin the first phase of operation exodus and settle on Yavin IV. The Alphians began to celebrate. Paul and Sandra hugged each other. "What do we do now? "Luke asked. "We go to Naboo my home planet and live as a family. "Padme said. "Han, do you mind taking us to Naboo? "Leia asked. "No problem. I don't have anything else to do. "Han replied. They left and headed to the Falcon. The alpians began packing supplies into the eagles. One by one the eagles took off and flew to Yavin IV. They left a message behind for anyone who might find Alpha on the moon.
"Sandra and I are going to get married John. "Paul said. "Helena and I are too. "Koeing replied. "The force brought us to bring about the end of the empire. "Koeing continued. "It also used us to reunite that skywalker family. "Professor Bergman said. The alphians journey was over.
