"Leafshade, be quiet!" Blossomfallmewed, flicking her tail impatiently. "The thing in that bush is making a lot of yippy-nippy sounds."
"How can you call it a thing? It's literally a-" Before she could finish her sentence, a small, curled, fluffy tail popped out from the bush, wagging. "A puppy?" Leafshade walked towards the tail while Blossomfall watched cautiously nearby, and Leafshade put her paw in the bush. Just then, a set of sharp canine teeth latched on it. Leafshade instantly shook her paw and the puppy flew out of the bush, and almost fell on the ground, looking at Blossomfall. Blossomfall yowled as the puppy shook it's head and ran towards her, about to claw the puppy, but it seemed like she paused for some reason, and she slowly let down her paw and licked the top of it's head, the puppy's tail wagging. "What should we name her?" Said Leafshade, who was next to the small pup. Blossomfall paused for a second before taking a deep breath and saying something, a whisper, to…someone or something, and then said "We will name her..Laikakit."
"So what is this?" A tortoiseshell tom meowed, his gaze fixated on the puppy in front of him. Blossomfall and Leafshade looked at eachother, before Leafshade mewed "It's an unusual looking kit we found in snakerocks. We call her Laikakit. That is what her name will be." The tortoiseshell tom then mewed "An unusual name. I will let my mate Fernstripe raise her. Thank you, mother. And thank you, Leafshade." The tom mewed. "You're welcome, Shellfur." Blossomfall mewed, scooting the pup towards Shellfur. The pup looked at him with beady eyes, her tail wagging. Shellfur picked the pup up, and took it over to the warriors' den.
