"Supers was filmed entirely on location with the corporation of the superhero community and the national security of D.E.F.E.N.S.E."
Watterson's Home:
It was early in the morning around 6:35 A.M. The camera zooms in on Hero Cat, standing confidently on the roof of his house. He strikes a heroic pose, staring dramatically into the distance as the camera crew sets up. Fishboy is standing next to him, yawning and clearly not as enthusiastic about the whole thing.
"Being a superhero is more than just fighting crime, you know. It's about sacrifice, commitment, and... the sheer amount of caffeine you need to get through the day. Even though, I don't drink that stuff. First off, we heroes have to get up early. Really early. Like, the crack of dawn. And let me tell you, it's not easy." Hero Cat narrating into the camera stretches exaggeratedly.
Fishboy yawns loudly next to him, clearly unimpressed by the whole "early riser" routine.
Hero Cat glancing at Fishboy. "See what I mean? Not everyone's cut out for it." Hero Cat said, winks to the camera. "But it's not just the early mornings that get you—it's the villains. They always have the same old tired plans. 'Take over the world,' robbing banks,' 'Freezing Elmore,' 'Destroy everything with a giant laser beam!' Yawn."
"Yeah, they never think outside the box. It's always the same old routine..." Fishboy muttering, still half asleep.
"Exactly! You'd think they'd come up with something more creative." Hero Cat said. Next, Hero Cat holds up a list and dramatically points to it. "And don't get me started on the costumes. Superheroes in spandex? They're tight, uncomfortable, and frankly, don't leave much to the imagination." As he pause "But hey, they get the job done."
Fishboy pulls at his uniform uncomfortably, giving the camera a deadpan look. "Yeah, because no one's ever gonna look at me the same after wearing this."
Hero Cat laughs and pats Fishboy on the back. Just as the camera focuses on him, we hear a voice call out from off-screen.
Demolition Woman yelled "Kids! Get off roof and come inside for breakfast!"
Hero Cat freezes, looking nervous, as Fishboy sighs in defeat.
Hero Cat turn to the camera crew. "Uh... as you can see, being a superhero also means dealing with your mom's constant demands."
The camera cuts to a close-up of Demolition Woman standing in the front yard, hands on her hips, glaring up at them.
Demolition Woman getting mad. "Now, boys! It's Saturday! You're not supposed to be out there causing trouble!"
Hero Cat sighed to the camera crew. "And that's how you know you're a superhero. You can fight crime, but you can't avoid your mom's orders."
Hero Cat steps back, but as he does, he slips on the edge of the roof, grabbing Fishboy by accident. They both crash down onto the front lawn, pulling the camera crew with them. The crew tumbles to the ground, filming the chaos.
Fishboy groans "I knew this was gonna happen."
Hero Cat chuckles weakly and looking up from the pile-up. "Hey, at least we made an entrance!"
Demolition Woman sighed and walk back inside.
Inside the Watterson's home:
After breakfast, Hero Cat Hero Cat enthusiastically leads the camera crew around their home, showing off the more mundane side of their life when not fighting villains. Hero Cat is excitedly walking the crew through the house. "So, welcome to the world of Hero Cat and Fishboy when we're not saving Elmore! First stop, our gaming lair!" They walked by the couch with a regular t.v. in the living room and three gaming consoles. Hero Cat picks up a controller and dramatically starts playing a superhero-themed video game. "I mean, even superheroes need to relax, right? Check this out, I'm totally gonna beat Fishboy's high score. You're going down!"
Fishboy leaning against the wall, yawning. "Yeah, I think I'm more into the next level of being sleepy rather than gaming, but sure, let's see how this goes."
Hero Cat completely flubs the game, and the camera crew snickers awkwardly as Fishboy smiles.
Hero Cat looking at the screen in disbelief. "I swear, I'm normally better at this..."
Cut to Hero Cat showing off a training area filled with exercise equipment and punching bags in the Danger Cave.
"And when we're not gaming, we gotta stay in superhero shape. Gotta keep the muscles intact for... you know, saving the world and stuff." Hero Cat said.
He strikes a ridiculous, overly dramatic flex, followed by a sudden clumsy fall off a treadmill. Fishboy doesn't even blink, too tired to care.
Hero Cat laughing awkwardly "Okay, maybe I need a little more work here."
They head back to the living room, where the TV is showing an old superhero cartoon. Hero Cat plops down on the couch.
"And, of course, we've got our superhero cartoons for when we want some inspiration. It's important to keep up with the classics, you know? Can't let the villains think they have the market on cool stuff." Hero Cat explained.
Fishboy now slightly awake now, from the couch. "I don't know if watching 'Super Kittens' for the fifth time is the best use of our day, but... okay."
"It's classic! Now, you just have to wait for the next big crossover event! You wouldn't understand." Hero Cat, crossing his arms.
Later, Hero Cat walks down the hallway, excited to introduce the camera crew to his sister, Anais. She's in her room, furiously studying for some advanced science project for the Hero Academia
Hero Cat knocking on the door. "Hey, little sis! Got a special guest for you! Time for your superhero interview!"
Anais wearing her mask to prevent her identity to be reveal, and without looking up, in a deadpan voice. "Not happening."
Hero Cat pushing the door open anyway. "Aww, come on! We're showing the world what makes this family tick!"
Anais pauses for a moment, glaring. "This family? You mean the family that won't leave me alone for five minutes while I try to finish my quantum physics equations?" She holds up a textbook the size of a small child. "I need privacy. Go bother someone else."
She slams the door shut in their faces, leaving the camera crew awkwardly standing in the hallway.
Hero Cat sighs, scratching his head. "She's a tough one to crack. What can I say? She's a genius."
Cut to the kitchen, where Wanda the Bunny Warlock helping his wife Demolition Woman with the dishes and cups. The camera crew interviews them about their roles as parents and superheroes.
Demolition Woman washing the dishes looking serious. "Balancing on having a family while also doing hero work on big events is a tough job. I could destroy Elmore with one punch to make all the stressful moment go away in a sec, but I don't." She gives a playful wink, causing the camera crew to visibly tense up. "That's a joke. Mostly."
Wanda the Bunny Warlock holding up his wand and showing it to the camera. "This is a family heirloom. My mother passed it down to me when I proved my heart was pure." pauses, looking thoughtful. "Not a lot of people know that, actually. It grants magical powers... and a constant supply of confusion."
Demolition Woman sighed. "What he means is, he's always losing it, but hey, it gets the job done when he actually remembers it."
"Hey! It's not that bad. I—" Bunny Warlock accidentally drops the wand, which causes a small magical explosion, sending a bunch of cereal boxes flying into the air.
"See?" Demolition Woman pointed
Camera Crew Member nervously. "So, uh, you could really slam Elmore with just one punch?"
Demolition Woman grins. "Well, yes... but I'm a responsible hero. You know, a role model. For my family and for the citizens of Elmore."
"And we totally don't mess around with magic. Not unless it's for the right reasons!" Bunny Warlock says this while cleaning up a spilled glass of milk using magic.
Cut to Fishboy, sitting on the couch, talking to the camera crew about what it's like to be Hero Cat's sidekick.
"Being Hero Cat's sidekick is a mix of exciting and... well, terrifying. We go up against some crazy villains, and sometimes it gets really dangerous." Fishboy pensively, tapping his chin.
He suddenly stops and looks serious.
"There was this one time I... I was shot. Dead. Completely. I don't remember much after that." Fishboy pauses, staring into space for a moment. "And then, just like that, I came back to life. No memory of how. Or why. Like... poof. I was just back. It was... a lot to process when you're trying to get your memories back."
The camera crew looks at him in stunned silence..
Fishboy shrugs it off. "Yeah. Being a sidekick isn't as glamorous as it sounds. But, you know... it's what I do. For him." He points to Hero Cat, who's off-screen, probably still fighting with a video game controller.
It's already noon, Hero Cat and Fishboy are walking down the street as the camera crew follows them. Hero Cat is explaining to the camera about their destination and their mission.
Hero Cat look back at to the camera. "So, here's the deal. We're heading to Malevolent Mansion. That's where our good friend, Carrie—uh, Dr. Fantasma—lives. She's a total magic whiz. And, well, she's been helping me with some of the stranger stuff that happens in Elmore. Especially the time when I was posses by a demon, and used a device to defeat a cosmic deity. But she's not just your typical wizard. She's, like, the 'creepy supernatural' kind of magic user."
Fishboy gulped. "Yeah... she's kind of a lot. But she's good with the weird stuff that I'm glad I'll never know."
"Right. She's been a huge help in dealing with the, uh, not-so-average bad guys we run into. And today, she's going to help Fishboy get his memories back. So, fingers crossed."
They turn a corner, and the camera pans up to reveal Malevolent Mansion in the distance. It's a spooky, run-down mansion located in the middle of a dark cemetery. Fog rolls over the grave markers, and the mansion looks both ominous and strangely welcoming.
'Hero Cat gesturing toward the mansion. "And here we are! Home sweet home... for Carrie."
As they approach the front gate, they notice a group of four teenagers and their dog running out of the mansion, looking terrified, with a scruffy dog barking behind them. They look over their shoulders and bolt off into the distance.
"Never going back there again!" Teenager #1 panting, looking back.
Teenager #2 shivering. "Next time we'll be sticking to regular haunted house with guys in rubber mask!"
Hero Cat laughing, shaking his head. "Yeah, that sounds about right. Carrie has her own share of enemies even regular mortals."
They reach the door of the mansion, which opens eerily on its own, and Dr. Fantasma, her expression stern and unamused.
Dr. Fantasma suddenly in a deep, serious voice , calling out those intruders. "I told you multiple times to not trespass here again. If I catch any of you punks near my property, I'll send you to the world where no one returns!"
The camera crew flinches at her tone, but she softens when she sees Hero Cat and Fishboy.
Dr. Fantasma smiling a bit, her voice lightening, "Oh, it's you two. What is it now? I assume this isn't a social call?"
Hero Cat grinning, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, about that... So, we're here for Fishboy's memories. Remember."
"So, you've come to me for my magical expertise to help Fishboy to gain back his lost memories once more... and you've brought a camera crew?" Dr. Fantasma looks at the crew, unimpressed. "I'm not a part of your little television show, Hero Cat."
"Oh, no no! It's not like that. We're here to film a hit TV show called 'The Supers.' They've been following us for the latest episode of a hit reality documentary tv show of superheroes called 'Supers", and guess what? You're gonna be a part of it!"
Dr. Fantasma crossing her arms, skeptical. "That TV show? Yeah I've heard of it. But what makes you think I'm just going to let some cameras into my private domain?"
Hero Cat nervous as he rub the back of his neck. "Well, yeah! They're documenting our superhero adventures. And since there is no crime since this morning. And today, it's all about Fishboy's big memory recovery!"
Dr. Fantasma sighs deeply, running a hand through her hair. "Come in, we'll resume. But there's one rule." She points at the camera crew. "The cameras stay outside. I don't want any of my private business going on television."
Camera Crew Member genuinely confused. "But... the viewers have the right to see it! They want to know! Including your daily life as a magic superhero."
Dr. Fantasma glaring sharply at the camera crew. "I don't care about your 'viewers.' If they want to know about my magic, they can read a book. No recordings in my home. Got it?"
The camera crew starts to protest, but Hero Cat steps in, trying to calm Carrie down.
Hero Cat nervously, gesturing to the crew. "Okay, okay! Everyone calm down! Just... let's not push it. You guys wait outside. I'll fill you in after we're done, alright?"
Fishboy nods in agreement, and Carrie's expression softens a little as she sees them stepping back.
"Let's get to work." Dr. Fantasma said.
Hero Cat and Fishboy follow Dr. Fantasma inside the mansion, leaving the camera crew standing awkwardly at the door. The camera crew exchanges nervous glances as the door creaks shut.
Camera Crew Member whispering to the other crew members. "Maybe we should have signed in with Iron Bee instead."
Hours went by, The camera crew try to find every window in the mansion to peek on what's going on, but Dr. Fantasma is already aware that they'll try something like that so she made sure by locking all windows and close all curtains to prevent them to sneakily to record. Annoyed and bored that they're being forced to sit outside while being creep out to be all in the cemetery hearing noises and spotted someone or something pass by. Lucky for them, it's al over when they see Hero Cat and Fishboy coming out of the front door and thank Dr. Fantasma for trying and will come back tomorrow to try again.
Dr. Fantasma said with calmly but firmly. "Next time, leave the cameras at home."
Hero Cat turns to the crew, looking sheepish.
Hero Cat laughed nervously. "Hey, uh, sorry for making you guys wait out here so long. Carrie's got, like, a thing about privacy, y'know? But don't worry! We're heading back out on patrol now. Let's go find some bad guys!"
Hero Cat and Fishboy start walking away, but before the camera crew can follow, one of them turns back toward the mansion..
Camera Crew Member #3 calling out her. "Wait! Dr. Fantasma! Can you at least tell us something? Like, what's your daily life like as a superhero? Or what's your deal with Hero Cat? And, uh, is there any progress with Fishboy's memories? Viewers are curious about you."
She glares at the crew with a look that could freeze the sun.
Dr. Fantasma flatly respond. "No."
The door slams shut with a loud BANG, leaving the crew standing in stunned silence.
Elmore's street:
It's now around 5:20 P.M., and still no sign of crime. The sun is starting to set, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink. Hero Cat and Fishboy walk along a quiet street, scanning the area for any sign of trouble. The camera crew lags behind, visibly bored.
Camera Crew Member 1 sighed. "It's already 5:20. If this keeps up, we're going to have to cut this episode short. Nobody wants to watch an hour of... this."
They gesture dramatically to Hero Cat and Fishboy, who are now inspecting a suspiciously large pile of garbage on the sidewalk.
Hero Cat spinning around to face the crew, panicked. "No, no, no! Don't end the episode yet! We just need to wait a little longer! Something big is definitely about to happen, I can feel it."
Fishboy whispering to Hero Cat. "Where are all the supervillains today? It's like they've all vanished or something."
Hero Cat whispering back, frowning. "I know, right? It's so weird especially this time of hour. Are they... on strike?"
Fishboy shrugged. "Or maybe it's a holiday? Like, Villains' Day Off or something."
Hero Cat glares at Fishboy, clearly annoyed by the suggestion, but before he can respond, a sudden icy breeze sweeps through the street. Everyone freezes, shivering and looking around in confusion.
Camera Crew Member 1 hugging their jacket tighter. "What the...? It's supposed to be warm today! The weather app said 'sunny and nice,"
Hero Cat's eyes light up with excitement. He spins to face the camera, grinning.
Hero Cat dramatic said. "Oh yeah, baby! That's no weather glitch—that's a supervillain! And I know who." He turns to Fishboy, who nods knowingly. They both strike heroic poses before Hero Cat looks back at the camera. Hero Cat then speak directly to the viewers. "Alright, folks, you've waited long enough. It's finally time for some action!"
Without another word, Hero Cat and Fishboy dash down the street, leaving the camera crew scrambling to keep up. The Camera crew follow them.
The cold breeze grows stronger as they follow Hero Cat and Fishboy, who turn a corner and skid to a stop. The camera pans over to reveal a layer of frost spreading rapidly across the street, cars and lampposts freezing over as the temperature drops further.
Hero Cat excitedly, clenching his fists. "Yep, it's her! Ice Girl. Let's show the viewers what real superheroing looks like!"
Fishboy looks a little less enthusiastic, rubbing his arms to keep warm. "Y-Yeah, sure. L-Let's hope she doesn't turn us into popsicles this time." He said, teeth chattering.
The camera zooms in as Hero Cat and Fishboy charge forward, ready for their showdown with Ice Girl. The crew struggles to keep the camera steady, the lens frosting over as the action begins.
The camera pans over a section of the city now blanketed in ice. Sarah aka Ice Girl, who skates around on frozen streets, cackling and creating ice sculptures of herself, and Hero Cat and Fishboy.
Ice Girl gleefully, as she forms an enormous ice throne. "Oh, what a cool day to spread my icy reign! These pathetic Elmoreans will soon learn to chill out! Hah! Get it? Chill out?!"
She bursts into maniacal laughter, clearly amused by her own puns. Suddenly, Hero Cat and Fishboy slide dramatically into view, posing heroically in front of her.
"Ice Girl! Your frozen reign of terror ends here!" Hero Cat shouted, pointed at her.
Ice Girl clapping her hands mockingly. "Well, well, well! If it isn't Hero Cat and his little fishy friend. I was wondering when you'd show up. Ready to be put on ice?!"
Hero Cat dramatic, stepping forward. "Listen up, Ice Girl! You may think your heart is as cold as your powers, but justice will always thaw the frost of evil! Prepare yourself, because no villain can withstand the heat of... Hero Cat!"
Fishboy facepalms as Ice Girl stifles a laugh.
Ice Girl smiled. "Not bad on the speeches, but see you do in combat."
The camera crew scrambles to capture the action as Hero Cat and Ice Girl charge at each other. Fishboy dives in to help, but slips on the ice, spinning wildly before crashing into a snowbank.
Fishboy muffled, from the snowbank. "I'm okay! Totally planned that!"
Hero Cat battles Ice Girl, dodging icy blasts and throwing punches, his indestructible body smashing through her ice walls. Ice Girl slides around effortlessly, countering with snowstorms and icicles. The fight is intense but comically chaotic, with Hero Cat constantly slipping and regaining his footing. After an exaggerated series of flips and dodges, Hero Cat finally manages to tackle Ice Girl to the ground. Fishboy crawls out of the snowbank, joining him as they pose triumphantly for the camera.
Hero Cat striking a heroic pose. "And that, citizens of Elmore, is how you put an end to a villain's icy plans! Remember, no matter how cold the day, justice will always—"
Ice Girl interrupting, brushing herself off. "Yeah, yeah, great speech. I'll give you points for enthusiasm, but you really think I'd be defeated so easily?"
She suddenly notices a pedestrian walking down the street, obliviously checking their phone. Grinning, she raises her hand and freezes the civilian solid in a block of ice.
"Catch me if you can, heroes!" Ice Girl cackled.
As she prepares to skate away, one of the camera crew members steps forward, holding out a clipboard. "Wait! Before you go, can you sign this release form? We need it for legal permission to use your footage on the show." One of Crew member said.
Ice Girl blinking in surprise, then grinning. "Oh my gosh, The Supers is my favorite show! Of course I'll sign!"
She quickly scribbles her name, even adding a heart next to it, before winking at the camera and skating off with a trail of frost.
Hero Cat shouting after her. "Hey! You can't just—ugh, forget it. Fishboy, help me thaw out the civilian!"
They rush over to the frozen pedestrian, trying to break the ice with punches, kicks, and Fishboy's tiny karate chops. The camera crew films nervously, sensing disaster.
"I don't think this is working!" Fishboy said, hitting the ice repeatedly.
"We just need to hit it harder!" Hero Cat said, being determined.
With one mighty punch from Hero Cat, the ice shatters—but so does the civilian, breaking into dozens of frozen pieces. The camera zooms in on the heroes' horrified faces.
Joyful Burger:
At around 7:20 PM, The camera pans over to the cozy interior of Joyful Burger. Hero Cat, Fishboy, and the camera crew are seated at a booth, trays of burgers and fries spread before them. Hero Cat takes an enormous bite, his mask pulled up slightly to reveal his mouth..
Hero Cat chewing loudly, then addressing the camera. "So, about that civilian we, uh, accidentally turned into an ice sculpture..."Well, Good news! D.E.F.E.N.S.E showed up to collect her remains. They're really good at fixing these kinds of... hiccups. It's, like, their whole thing. Civilians getting injured or, uh, worse during supervillain attacks? Pretty normal stuff. They'll revive her in no time!"
Fishboy sips his soda, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, it's kinda their job. Plus, they've got that fancy machine for this. Happens way more often than you'd think." Fishboy added.
Suddenly, Hero Cat's stomach rumbles loudly. He freezes, his eyes widening as he stands abruptly.
Excuse me. Superhero duties sometimes mean dealing with... internal emergencies. Be right back!"
He sprints toward the bathroom, leaving Fishboy and the camera crew at the table. The moment Hero Cat disappears, Tobias Wilson aka Shadow Star slides into view, striking a dramatic pose at the end of the booth.
Shadow Star smirked. "Well, well, well! You're following the wrong hero, my friends."
Shadow Star snatches the camera and angles it toward himself, his exaggerated poses filling the frame.
"What you need is a real star. Shadow Star! Protector of Elmore, heartthrob of the city, and a hero with unmatched—"
The cameraman interrupts.
"Wait a second. Aren't you the guy who let that thief run off with that blob woman's purse last week because of how 'unattractive' she it?"
Shadow Star stammering, suddenly nervous. "Uh, w-well, you see, that was part of my plan to, uh... track the thief! Yeah! I was gonna catch him later when he..."
The cameraman raises an eyebrow, unimpressed. Shadow Star, flustered, quickly puts the camera back on the table and vanishes in a puff of smoke without another word.. The camera cuts back to Fishboy, who is still sipping his soda. He shrugs.
"So, about Ice Girl... She's got this whole creepy obsession with me and Hero Cat. Don't know why. She's like, super clingy, always making weird ice sculptures of us. Pretty sure she's just trying to get our attention." Fishboy explained.
The Comedian walking by and overhearing. "Yeah, sounds like she's got a real frosty crush on you guys! Hah! Get it?"
Fishboy groans, rubbing his forehead as Banana Joe laughs hysterically and wanders off. Just as Hero Cat returns from the bathroom, looking relieved but contemplative, the room suddenly grows silent. A cold, unnatural breeze sweeps through the diner, frosting over the windows and condensing on the walls.
"Why is it freezing in here? Did someone leave the freezer door open?" Hero Cat asked shivering.
Before anyone can answer, the frost spreads rapidly, freezing tables, chairs, and food in a thick layer of ice. The camera shakes as the crew tries to capture the sudden turn of events. Fishboy's soda freezes solid mid-sip, and he yanks it away from his lips with a shocked expression.
The camera zooms out to reveal the entire interior of Joyful Burger now encased in ice, including the heroes and the camera crew which frozen the video camera which starts to static and cut.
Ice Cream Factory:
Around 8:33 PM, The camera flickers back on, showing a cold, eerie interior of an ice cream factory. Icicles dangle from the machinery, and frost coats every surface. The camera crew sits shivering on a frozen bench, rubbing their hands together for warmth. Ice Girl appears in the frame, gracefully skating across the icy floor with a wide grin.
"Welcome back, viewers! I bet you're all tired of watching those so-called 'heroes' hogging the spotlight. Well, fret no more because this episode just got a whole lot cooler!" Ice Girl beaming.
She twirls dramatically and strikes a pose, gesturing to herself.
"I am Ice Girl, the frostiest villain you'll ever meet, and today, I'm stealing the show!" Ice Girl said, looking at the camera.
The camera crew exchange nervous glances but continue filming. Ice Girl leans in close to the camera, her breath forming icy mist.
Ice Girl whispering conspiratorially. "Don't worry, I'll make this fun. Oh, and before you ask, yes, I did kidnap Fishboy."
The camera pans slightly, showing Fishboy encased in a block of ice, his expression somewhere between annoyance and disbelief.
Fishboy shouted in muffled through the ice. "Help!"
"Now, I know what you're thinking: 'What's the big, bad Ice Girl planning to do with Fishboy?' But before I unveil my genius plan, I thought it'd be nice to... share a little something special with you all." Ice Girl smirked.
She claps her hands, and a frosty pedestal rises from the floor, holding a glittery scrapbook with "Ice Girl's Chronicles" written in glitter glue on the cover.
"Behold! My greatest masterpiece: a collection of fanfiction and art dedicated to my favorite trio—myself, Hero Cat, and Fishboy!" Ice Girl proudly say.
She flips open the book, revealing a poorly drawn crayon sketch of Hero Cat and Fishboy kneeling before Ice Girl, both offering her flowers. The next page is a dramatic depiction of Ice Girl standing over Hero Cat, who is tied up with icicles while Fishboy swoons in the background.
"This one's called 'Frosted Destiny.' It's a love-hate story where Hero Cat finally realizes I'm the true hero Elmore needs, and Fishboy becomes my loyal sidekick-slash-ice sculptor." Ice Girl said, pointing to the pages.
The camera zooms in awkwardly on Fishboy, who rolls his eyes inside the ice block.
Fishboy muffled. "Yeah, that's not happening."
Ice Girl ignoring him. "And this one?" She flips to another page showing Ice Girl and Hero Cat holding hands while Fishboy sulks in the background. "It's called 'Frozen Hearts Collide.' It's a romantic drama where Hero Cat and I team up to save Elmore, and he finally admits his feelings for me."
She sighs dreamily, clutching the scrapbook to her chest.
"Ah, it's a story for the ages. The perfect mix of action, romance, and a little bit of hero-villain chemistry. Don't you think, viewers?" Ice Girl asked.
The camera pans to the crew, who look utterly baffled. One cameraman awkwardly clears his throat.
Camera Crew Member asked. "Uh, so... is this the part where you explain your evil plan?"
Ice Girl snapping back to reality. "Oh, right! The plan!"
She gestures dramatically toward Fishboy.
"But first, let's take a quick break to appreciate the artistry here. I mean, who doesn't love a good villain's fanfiction? Stay tuned, folks—there's so much more to come!" Ice Girl said.
Joyful Burger:
The scene opens back at the Joyful Burger. The ice that previously froze the entire establishment has started to melt, with puddles forming around the tables and chairs. Hero Cat and Shadow Star are standing among other unfrozen patrons, looking around.
Hero Cat frantic, calling out. "Fishboy? Fishboy! Where are you, buddy?"
He runs around, checking under tables and behind the counter. Shadow Star leans against a wall, watching him with a raised eyebrow.
Hero Cat panicked. "Oh no, he's not here! What if Ice Girl turned him into an ice sculpture and shipped him to the North Pole?"
Shadow Star sarcastically. "Yeah, that seems logical. Or maybe you just forgot to use your eyes."
Hero Cat ignoring him, pacing. "And the camera crew! They're gone too! What if she's holding them hostage? Oh, this is bad, bad, bad—"
Shadow Star interrupting, pointing at the floor. "Relax, genius. She left an ice trail. Probably didn't even realize she was doing it."
Hero Cat freezes mid-panic, then looks down at the floor. Sure enough, there's a thin trail of frost leading out of the Joyful Burger and into the streets of Elmore.
Hero Cat brightening. "Aha! An ice trail! She's sloppy, just like her villain monologues. Come on, Shadow Star, we're going to save Fishboy and the camera crew!"
Shadow Star crossing his arms. "We? Oh no, I'm not getting involved in your mess. I've got a reputation to maintain."
Hero Cat grinning and putting an arm around Shadow Star. "Don't worry, your reputation can't get any worse! Let's go!"
Before Shadow Star can protest, Hero Cat dashes out of the restaurant, following the trail of frost. Shadow Star groans and reluctantly jogs after him.
Shadow Star grumbling. "I should have stay home."
Mr. Sundae's Ice Cream Factory:
Cut back to the scene opens inside the Ice Cream Factory. Ice Girl sits on an oversized ice throne, surrounded by poorly lit industrial equipment and crates of ice cream ingredients. She's excitedly flipping through a scrapbook filled with her fanfic notes, illustrations, and magazine clippings of Hero Cat and Fishboy. The camera crew, still tied to a nearby frozen conveyor belt, looks increasingly bored.
Ice Girl grinning proudly, holding up a page. "And THIS one is my magnum opus! It's a love/hate triangle where Hero Cat realizes I'm the only one who truly understands him, and Fishboy has to choose between being my loyal sidekick or staying Hero Cat's best friend!"
Camera Operator awkwardly clearing his throat. "Uh, Miss Ice Girl… Not to interrupt your creative process or anything, but… what's your evil plan again?"
Ice Girl blinking in surprise. "Oh, right! My evil plan! I knew I was forgetting something important."
She slams the scrapbook shut and tosses it aside, jumping up from her throne. She dramatically gestures toward the center of the factory, where a massive, shiny giant ice cannon sits, sparkling ominously under flickering factory lights.
Ice Girl proudly. "Behold! The ultimate symbol of my genius: the Freeze-O-Matic 5000! It cost a lot in the Creed gift store online, but it was worth it." She then climbing onto the canon. "Now, watch in awe as I explain my utterly brilliant, totally-not-cliché evil plan!"
The camera pans over to Fishboy, tied up and dangling precariously above the cannon's barrel. His expression is a mix of annoyance and disbelief.
Fishboy in a deadpan attitude. "Let me guess. You're going to use this thing to freeze the entire city."
Ice Girl smirking. "Close, sidekick boy. I'm going to freeze the entire country! Starting with Elmore, of course."
Fishboy sarcastically. "How original. Truly groundbreaking."
Ice Girl ignoring him, pacing theatrically. "And THEN, once the world sees my frosty power, they'll have no choice but to crown me as their Queen of Ice! Sure, it's a little old-fashioned, but hey, you can't beat the classics." She snaps her fingers, and icicles form around Fishboy's bindings, ensuring he can't escape.
Ice Girl giggling mischievously. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a city to chill—literally!"
She flips a lever on the cannon, and it begins to hum ominously, cold steam hissing from its vents. The camera crew exchanges worried glances as they adjust their focus on the unfolding chaos.
Fishboy calling out. "Hero Cat's going to stop you, you know."
Ice Girl winking at the camera. "Oh, I'm counting on it. The best part of any plan is the dramatic hero entrance!"
Suddenly, the factory doors burst open, sending shards of ice and metal flying. The camera crew quickly shifts their focus to Hero Cat and Shadow Star standing heroically in the entrance, framed by light streaming through the broken door.
Hero Cat striking a heroic pose. "Stop right there, Ice Girl! Your frosty reign of terror ends now!"
Ice Girl clapping gleefully. "Hero Cat! You came! And…" Her excitement dims as she notices Shadow Star. "Oh. It's you. Why are you here?"
Shadow Star crossing his arms. "Trust me, I didn't want to be."
"Time to end this!" Hero Cat
Ice Girl smirks and flips a switch, beginning the warm-up sequence for the ice cannon. Steam and frost pour from the machine as its hum grows louder.
Ice Girl playfully. "Oh, don't be in such a rush, Hero Cat. Let's have some fun first!"
She launches a barrage of ice attacks, forcing Hero Cat and Shadow Star to take cover behind some crates.
Hero Cat peeking out. "Okay, new plan. Shadow Star, you rescue Fishboy and shut down that cannon. I'll keep Ice Girl busy."
Shadow Star smiled. "Good idea." He said and sneaks toward Fishboy while Hero Cat leaps out from cover, dramatically drawing Ice Girl's attention.
"Is that the best you've got, Ice Girl? I've had scarier snowstorms in my backyard!" Hero Cat shouted, dodging her ice blasts.
Ice Girl laughing, firing more attacks. "Oh, Hero Cat, you're as cold as my puns! But don't worry—I'll break the ice!"
Hero Cat grimacing. "Please stop with the puns. They're painful."
Meanwhile, Shadow Star reaches Fishboy, who is still tied up above the cannon. He cuts the ropes, and Fishboy drops to the platform next to him.
Fishboy dusting himself off. "Took you long enough."
"Shut up. Let's hurry and shut this stupid thing off." Shadow Star said, pointing to the cannon.
They spot two large buttons on the cannon's console. One is the color red, and the other the color yellow.
"Oh great. Which one is the off button?" Fishboy asked Shadow Star.
"How the hell should I know?"
Fishboy nervously. "I… I think it's the red one?"
"No way. That's too obvious. It's gotta be the yellow one." Shadow Star said, pointing at the yellow one.
They bicker for a moment, the cannon's hum growing louder and more ominous.
Fishboy panicking. "We're out of time! I'm pressing the red one!"
Shadow Star yelled. "Don't—!"
Fishboy slams the red button. The cannon immediately powers down, but then alarms start blaring, and the cannon's display flashes "SELF-DESTRUCT SEQUENCE INITIATED."
Fishboy wide-eyed. "Oh, come on!"
Shadow Star already running. "Nice going, genius. I'm out!"
Fishboy scrambles after him as the factory begins shaking violently, cracks forming in the ice-covered walls.
Back on the factory floor, Hero Cat is still dodging Ice Girl's attacks.
Hero Cat noticing the commotion. "What's going on back there?"
Shadow Star yelling from across the room. "Your sidekick broke the cannon! We've got about ten seconds before this place goes up!"
Ice Girl gasping in shock. "What?! My beautiful Freeze-O-Matic 5000!"
Hero Cat grabbing her arm. "Time to go, Ice Girl!"
He pulls her along as the group makes a frantic dash toward the exit while the camera records everything from behind while follow the heroes to escape. They burst out of the factory just as it explodes in a spectacular icy blast, sending chunks of frozen debris flying everywhere.
The group lands in a pile of snow outside. Hero Cat sits up, brushing ice off his fur, while Shadow Star looks annoyed and Fishboy is sprawled on the ground, groaning.
Ice Girl sighing wistfully. "Well, there goes my entire villainous budget for the year."
Hero Cat said with a deadpan. "You can always apply for a refund."
As the camera crew resumes filming, Ice Girl sits in the snow, appearing defeated. She suddenly bursts into laughter, catching everyone off guard.
Ice Girl grinning mischievously. "You're right, Hero Cat. Maybe I should apply for a refund. But first…" She dramatically reaches into her coat and tosses a handful of glittery powder into Hero Cat's face.
Hero Cat coughing, blinking furiously. "What… what is this? Magic snow dust?"
Ice Girl mocking. "Nope! Just regular glitter. And…" . She created an sled made out of ice. "See ya!" She slides off at high speed, cackling as she disappears into the distance.
Fishboy facepalming. "Nice dude."
Hero Cat staring after her, stunned. "I can't believe I fell for that. I'm such an idiot!"
Fishboy sighed. "You said it, not me."
Later outside the now-smoldering remains of the Ice Cream Factory. Firefighters work to extinguish the remaining flames as police tape surrounds the area. Shadow Star is seen animatedly talking to the cops, gesturing dramatically.
"Yeah, so it was me who noticed the cannon first. Without my quick thinking, who knows what could've happened? Just another day for Shadow Star." Shadow Stars said to the officers.
Doughnut Sheriff nod, scribbling notes, though one looks skeptical.
Meanwhile, Hero Cat pats Fishboy on the back.
"You did great today, Fishboy. Even though Ice Girl got away, we stopped her plan. That's a win in my book." Hero Cat said, encouragingly to his best friend.
"Thanks. I just wish she wasn't so obsessed with us. Her obsession's is getting worst. " Fishboy shrugged.
Hero Cat nodded. "Yeah, but it's all part of the job. Obsessive villains, glitter bombs—it comes with the cape."
The camera crew gives a thumbs-up to signal they're ready to wrap up.
Hero Cat turns to the camera, his cape billowing slightly in the wind. He strikes a heroic pose, preparing his final speech.
"And so, dear viewers, another day is saved thanks to the power of teamwork, courage, and..." He pauses for dramatic effect. 'heroism!'" Hero Cat said in a dramatic tone.
Fishboy groans audibly in the background, licking an popsicle he snatch from the factory before he escape the factory.
"Corny speeches are not part of the job." Fishboy mutters.
Hero Cat ignores him and continues.
Hero Cat gesturing toward the camera. "Until next time, remember: wherever there's danger, you can count on your heroes to…" (realizes he forgot the rest of his line) "…uh, be there!"
