Stormtrooper Huss hit the floor of a destroyed building feet first, the rest of his squad following behind. He had been put in charge due to having the most experience; their sergeant's brains were frakking blown out right after they landed.

As he checked his corners, he immediately felt multiple stubber rounds hit his armor; he turned and squeezed the trigger of his hellgun, unleashing hell on one of the traitor infantry, seemingly clad in some form of armor similar to arbites.

"Traitor down." He vox'd to the rest of his squad as they caught up to him; he tuned the setting on his gas mask to see in thermal and saw that multiple traitors were preparing an ambush to blast a door.

"Absax, flamer." Absax nodded as he hefted his flamer up as he and another stormtrooper.

The other stormtrooper opened the door and chucked a flashbang into the room; it goes off, and Absax steps into the door and squeezes his flamer's trigger, spewing promethium into the room, the screams of the traitors being heard inside.

After two minutes, the flames died down, and Huss, along with his squad, walked through the burnt room, checking their corners and making sure a traitor didn't stand up and fill them with stubber rounds.

Huss opened the door and stepped into the war-torn city, a Leman Russ and a chimera rolling past while two squads of normal steel legionnaires walked past, some bearing minor wounds.

Overhead, a thunderbolt screeched before getting shot down by a missile, crashing into a nearby tower. While the ground war was going well, the air war wasn't; outside of Astarte aircraft, everything was getting annihilated by the enemy craft.

The stormtroopers soon followed the Leman Russ, taking the lead and making sure there wasn't any AT nearby. As they scoured the area, weapons fire soon filled the streets, and the stormtroopers had to duck behind destroyed vehicles.

"Arghhh!" One of Huss's men, Xodd, hit the floor, his leg hit by multiple shots. Absax pulled him into cover as Huss ordered everyone else to open fire, the squad spewing laser fire into the nearby buildings, with the Leman Russ soon rolling up.

With a thunderous boom, the Leman Russ fired a tank shell into a nearby building, taking out the traitors hidden inside, and parts of the building starting to break apart, the sponson heavy bolters also opening up, slowly chewing apart the traitor's cover.

As the group returned fire at the traitors, they quickly heard the sound of additional Leman Russes. Huss looked over the destroyed vehicle and saw a group of Leman Russes fleeing away from something.

One had its commander looking out the top of it, and when it drove past, Huss spoke, his voice sounding somewhat mechanical due to his helmet, "Where in the Emperor's balls are you going!"

"Baneblade down! Fall back to Landing Zone Iron!" The commander said as Huss turned and saw a lone figure walking through smoke; it looked like some sort of machine.

"SQUISHY ORGANICS, PREPARE TO DIE." The machine screeched as its arms turned into missile launchers and unleashed a hail of missiles in Huss's direction.

"Son of a bit-"

Omega stepped through the carnage, using his arm blasted to blow open the head of a surviving imperial. He had already killed many of the fleshy organics, destroyed their war machines, and made sure that at the end of the day the city is painted red with Imperial blood.

He jumped up and used his jet boosters to quickly catch up with the Imperial armor running away. "RUN AWAY; IT ONLY DELAYS YOUR TERMINATION." He said as he then landed on one of the tanks, gripped the barrel, and ripped off the top before turning one of his claws into a minigun and shredding all those inside the armored vehicle.

He quickly jumped to the next tank, turning his other arm into a missile launcher and firing a missile into the back of another tank as he stomped through the top hatch of the tank he was on and mowed down all those inside it, just like the last one.

He jumped off the tank and fired a missile into the next tank, its last act of defiance firing a shell that landed next to Omega. Debris landed on him as he marched through the street, purging any Imperial life; it was something he hadn't felt in a long time.

Killing living beings. It was a sensation that rarely happened, and while he was content to destroy the endless hordes of EggMan robots, these Imperials... they filled a hole inside of Omega, and as he turned one of his arms into a mini-gun and mowed down a group of them that tried to ambush him, he realized it.

He loved it. He stomped on one that somehow survived the barrage of rounds, and he looked to the sky; Imperial aircraft were getting shot down by G.U.N. air power, though for every aircraft shot down, it seemed that there were twenty more to fill its place, with an extra 30 just behind them.

Oh well. Just meant that Central City would need its name changed to 'Imperial Graveyard.' Omega quickly got back to work, weapons firing as he turned a corner and found himself getting hit by a missile; he skidded back and looked up to see the men who hit him.

"Damn. I thought about doing it." The man holding the missile launcher said, and his comrade spoke, "By the Emperor..." Omega didn't let them run; there was actually an entire line of them, along with armored vehicles.

"OH FUN." Omega said as he crashed into the line, both arms turned into mini-guns and arm blasters out, tearing through the imperial filth that surrounded him, and since he was amongst them, their armor couldn't fire!

He bashed an Imperial into a nearby tank, splattering him as Omega then switched his weapons into flamethrowers, burning and melting through the imperial bastards. Their screams caused him to mute his surroundings.

Minutes passed, and eventually he unmuted his surroundings. Seeing the carnage he had brought on the imperial forces, he eventually moved onward, knowing that the day wasn't close to being done.

The city wasn't also turned into a tomb yet, so that wasn't done as well...

Brother Teloch kicked down the door of the crashed Thunderhawk, and before the door hit the ground, his combo-plasma was already spitting death, raining bolts onto the traitor and the xeno.

Every shot hit its target, whether that be the giant heads of the xeno or the torso of a traitor; his brothers soon got up and added their fury as well. Brothers Meve and Vaine brought their own combi-weapons to bear while Brother Santo heaved a heavy bolter, the thunk of the weapon ensuring none stood in its way.

"The flesh is weak!" Veteran Sergeant Roch roared as he fired his plasma pistol while striding forward, the power axe decapitating a xeno before bisecting a traitor in half. The squad moved forward, firing their weapons with such precision that each enemy required only one bolt or plasma blast to kill it.

Brother Meve walked forward and switched his combi-flamer to its flamer mode, bathing the enemy forces in promethium while Brother Vaine unsheathed his combat knife and finished off any surviving traitors.

Once the survivors were dead, the squad continued onward, moving through the streets with machine-like precision. With every ambush that the traitor and xeno forces tried to pull off, the squad lowered the numbers of the enemy forces in the city.

The squad then pressed themselves against a wall as an enemy tank drove past. Veteran Sergeant Roch gestured for Vaine to move. Vaine moved quickly as Teloch moved to a different position to distract the armored vehicle.

Once Teloch was in position, he switched his combi-plasma to its plasma gun mode, and after charging it up, the weapon fired, the ball of plasma as bright as a sun and as hot as one hit the cannon of the tank, melting it partially but enough to reduce its effectiveness.

Teloch switched to the bolter and rained down bolt after bolt into the vehicle. While not doing much damage, the bolts were damaging the sensors and other minor mechanical devices on the armored vehicle.

This allowed Vaine to sprint towards the tank before jumping on top of it and pressing the barrel of his combi-melta and switching it to melta, allowing him to melt through the top of the tank.

Vaine reached for his hip and chucked a krak grenade into the armored vehicle before hopping off the armored vehicle; the tank detonates, but as Vaine moves, an autocannon round ripped through his left leg and left part of his body.

He collapses as multiple IFVs move up. Meve ran out and dragged Vaine into cover as the IFVs continued to rain fire on the squad. "This is veteran Sergeant Roch, requesting air support to eliminate enemy armored vehicles."

After a minute and the squad's cover slowly being decimated by the enemy autocannons and weapons, the IFVs are then obliterated by a Thunderhawk gunship strafing them with its cannon; this allows the squad to push up against the enemy infantry, wading through the weapon fire as they tear through them.

Teloch looked to the skies and saw multiple large airships flying over the city, with multiple Thunderhawks flying towards them...

Amy twirled her hammer around as she watched all of the restoration soldiers attached to her group ready themselves, which made Amy look at herself, and instead of wearing her normal dress, she now bore tactical gear along with a gas mask on her hip.

Though everyone looks up and hears loud thumps, Amy gets on comms and speaks, "Knuckles, you're in the cockpit; are we getting hit by something?" Amy asked, and Knuckles didn't respond, and while waiting for him to respond, the hangar wall was blasted open by something.

The restoration soldiers immediately opened fire as two giants flew in, though these ones were jet black with a few grey accents, while the other giants Shadow brought in were yellow and grey. Whispering fire left burn marks but nothing actually seemed damaging.

One of the giants walked forward and did a sweeping strike with his sword, leaving sparking electricity in it's wake, and taking the heads of multiple soldiers, while the other used a chainsaw mixed with a sword to saw through soldiers.

After the shock wore off, Amy immediately went into action, dodging a strike from one of the giants and slamming her hammer into the giant's chest, sending the giant flying into a stockpile of weapons as Amy jumped away from the giant with the chainsaw sword.

She tries to block an attack from the giant with her hammer, but the chainsaw sword tears through the wood, with Amy looking down at her hammer and yelling, "YOU BROKE MY HAMMER!"

Amy picked up a wispon and fired it into the giant while circling it, trying to find some weak spot in it. When she notices it isn't working, she drops the wispon, and sliding in between the giant's legs, she proceeds to jump on its back, packing the head part of her hammer and slamming it against the giant's helmet.

She does this again and again until the giant is able to grab her leg and slams her against the ground, whirring up its chainblade while the other one joins in. Both look down at her, and Amy takes off the golden weights on her and speaks, "Fine then, I'll just do it the Knuckles way!"

The two giants proceeded to draw pistols as Amy dodged every shot before uppercutting the giant with the sword, causing it to stagger back a bit but allowing Amy to do something a bit risky: she jumped on the giant before grabbing the arm connected to the sword.

"Come on...just...budge!" Amy gritted her teeth as she used all of her strength to pull the giant's arm off; she fell to the ground and expected to be showered by blood only to see sparks fly out of the giant's stub.

"Wait...so you guys are robots?" Amy said as she rolled to the side, avoiding a round as she ripped the sword out of the arm and gripped it, and as the blade sparked to life, Amy spoke: "Not the best with swords...but this can work."

Amy ducked under fire and impaled one of the giants before pulling up, a mixture of sparks and blood flying out as Amy slid and sliced off one of the other giant's legs before stabbing the giant in the back.

Amy looked over and felt the force of a semi-truck hit her in the face, sending her flying against the wall of the ship. As the other giant turned to its side and fired rounds at her, Amy used the sword to block the rounds before throwing it at the giant, the weapon skittering across the ground.

"Dang it." Amy said as the other giant picked up the fallen's chainsaw-sword, Amy tried to dodge, but the weapon clipped her stomach; she fell to the ground, shocked and feeling some of the worst pain she ever felt.

She looked to her stomach and saw blood gushing out, with what she thinks is her intestines poking out. She looked up at the giant and closed her eyes, and the warrior raised its weapon.

"No..." Amy said as she felt adrenaline fill her body, and she used all of her strength to get up and tackle the giant; the giant went down, and it tried to strike her again, but she grabs it by the hand before crushing.

"NO!" The weapon falls out of the giant's hand as Amy punches again and again at the giant's helmet before ripping it off and seeing the mangled face, machine and man merged into one being.

Amy didn't relent, and soon enough she stood up, hand on her stomach, trying to keep her insides from leaking outside as she looked at the crushed head of the giant; she looked to the other one as she picked up the chainsaw sword.

"You... you're next." She said before she descended down upon the giant, it fired one last round before chucking its round, though its head was soon separated from its body. With both giants down, Amy breathed heavily before groaning in pain.

She clicked the comm on her ear and spoke, "I took down two of the giants...status?" She asked on comms, and Knuckles responded, "I'm doing fine... but these guys hit like me, just a little worse. You?"

"I can fight..." Amy said over comms and grabbed some medical equipment, bandaging herself up, and she began to move, finding the gore house that was the ship. She walked into what was the cafeteria and saw Knuckles standing over the bodies of three giants.

Knuckles looked over to Amy and spoke, "You okay?" Amy replied as she then eyed one of the giant's weapons, a massive hammer. "I'm okay...give me that." She said as she dropped the chainsaw sword and picked up the massive hammer.

She flipped it on, and it sparked with power. Amy smiled and spoke, "Let's...get back to work. We have a city to save." Amy ordered, and Knuckles, along with a few restoration soldiers, nodded.

As Amy looked around, seeing the damage done, it made her realize just how bloody this war was going to be...

Sally sighed as she walked with the boy; it had been hours, and it seemed like they barely made any progress. Sally looked down at the boy and spoke, "Hey...what's your name?" The boy looked up and shook his head.

"I don't know." The boy answered, and Sally felt a little sad for him; she spoke again as they passed by some massive statues that would give EggMan a run for his money on ego. "Well, what do the giants call you?"

"Boy." The boy answered, and Sally gave him a confused look as the two continued to walk for another few hours and still didn't make any progress. Sally groaned and spoke, "How large is this place!?"

"I-I think Lord Aforable said it's around the-the size of a continent." The boy answered, and this caught Sally off guard: 'Okay, whoever made this place definitely has the ego of EggMan. Who makes a palace the size of a continent?' Sally thought.

The two then walked out onto a balcony to get to another area, and Sally gasped as she saw massive golden spires, guns large enough to destroy cities, and walls that reach into the skies. This place was not only a palace but a fortress.

Though it all had a gothic style, and the amount of statues around, skulls, and other strange objects spoke of the ego of the person who built this, still, it had a strange beauty to it, art mixed with war machines.

An aircraft flew by, and Sally leaned against the rails as she took in the view...that is until she looked down; now she wasn't afraid of heights...but by Gaia, they were up high; not only was this place the size of a continent, it was also the size of some of the largest mountains on Mobius!

"FREEZE!" Sally heard and turned to see the three naked, oiled-up giants sliding towards them; the boy grabbed onto her hand and led her into a nearby vent. "I knew we should have used the extra slippery stuff!" One of them said.

As Sally and Boy crawled through the vents, Sally remembered another thing: she was robotized. But now she isn't? But she then remembers other things that didn't happen, or she wasn't robotized or…different people; some strange events, none of it made sense…

"You okay?" Boy asked, and Sally shook her head, "No...but let's keep going." Boy nodded, and as they crawled through the events of certain events, she remembered that there were multiple caskets like hers...
