A/N: Please read and review? For those wondering, while I do see this season as the worst in the Disney era, I won't say it's the worse of the whole franchise. Ranking them altogether, I'd put this one either 3rd or 4th worst.

Intro:
A spinner spins around and then stops, showing the Overdrive symbol. The Rangers all receive their gene resequencing, and then they walk along a beach. All but Will - along with Spencer - turn around in the Command Center. Mack twirls his morpher, then he and Will do a fighting pose.
Go Rangers Go...
Dax uses his Drive Vortex to hover above the ground.

Will holds up his Drive Slammer.

Mr. Hartford reaches for and grabs the Corona Aurora in a carven.
Will: Last time on Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.
"The Corona Aurora? I found it." he breathes.
He looks at it, when lighting goes off around him.
"The Corona Aurora has been found!" Flurious said, standing in an ice cave.
Moltor rises up from a bunch of lava.
"At last, I'm free!" he declares.
Mr. Hartford and Spencer approaches the Rangers in main room of the mansion.
"Welcome, everyone." Mr. Hartford said.
"What's going on, dad?" Mack asks, grinning.
Mr. Hartford gently pushes Mack towards the door.
"Can we talk later?" he asks.
"But, dad, what are... Who are these people?" Mack asks, before Mr. Hartford closes the door on him.
Mr. Hartford holds the crown, staring at the five chosen Rangers.
"I need your help." he explains. "We need to protect this from falling into the wrong hands. I can turn you into Power Rangers."
Mack and his father stand in the main room.
"I wanna be a Power Ranger too." Mack said.
"No." Mr. Hartford said.
Outside, two Lava Lizards grab Mr. Hartford, as Mack and Spencer watch from the truck, making him drop his tracker.
"Overdrive Accelerate!" Mack shouts, doing the movement, as Mr. Hartford turns around.
Mack jumps up, the pole end of his lance against the ground, kicking a Chiller's chest.
A Lava Lizard hands Moltor the crown.
"Finally, the crown is mine!" he declares, holding it up.
He shoots lighting from his forehead, hitting a hill, causing lava to come out of it.
"AH!" people scream in the city.
They all turn and run off down a street.
The Rangers turn to Mr. Hartford.
"Dad, what do we do?" Mack asks.
At the valley, the Rangers - now unmorphed - Mr. Hartford, and Spencer all stood together in a circle, the Rangers trackers on their left sleeves, as they had a magnet patch. (Jazz was between Will and Dax)
"We can't let him get away." Will said, motioning behind him. "We have to go after the crown."
"No. There are people to be saved first." Mr. Hartford argued.
"But the crown-" Ronny began.
"It wasn't the real crown." Mr. Hartford explained.
"What?" Jazz muttered, shocked, as Rose looked between Dax and Ronny.
"Now, you need to split up. Rose, Ronny and Dax, find a way to stop the volcano at the source." Mr. Hartford instructed.
"Let's go." Rose said.
She, Ronny and Dax all turned around and ran off.
"Alright, then Jazz, Mack and I will to the town and see how we-" Will began, stepping forward as he motioned to the town.
"Wait?" Mr. Hartford said, getting them to stop. "Mack has done enough."
"No, dad. I started this, I'm gonna finish it." Mack insisted.
Mr. Hartford stared at him, before all three Rangers turned and ran off, leaving him and Spencer alone.
"He'll be fine, sir." Spencer assured.
In the city, dozens of people kept running from the lava, before an Asian woman fell over onto her side
Will - morphed up - somersaulted towards the scene and dived down with his arms out, then he kicked his feet against a car and landed near the woman.
"Come on, hurry?" he said, grabbing her arms.
He got up and jumped up with the woman, before he landed them both further away, crouched down.
"Now keep moving to higher ground." he explained, as they got up.
The woman nodded before she turned and ran off.
A man turned into an alley, but saw it was a dead end, before he turned around and saw the lava had started coming towards him.
"AHHH!" he screamed.
Jazz - morphed up - suddenly landed beside him.
"Hang on, I got you." she said, grabbing him.
She jumped up and dived them both onto a fire escape, then jumped them both over the building and onto the street on their feet.
"Now go on!" she said, pointing behind him. "You need to get outta here!"
The man nodded before he turned and ran off.
Nearby, a woman and her baby were trapped in a car, as another was wedged against the door, preventing her from opening it. Her baby cried as she turned and saw the lava approaching them, making her cry, as Mack - morphed up - directed more people down the street.
"Keep moving!" he said, motioning with his hand.
He jumped up with his arms out, diving towards the car, before he landed and kicked against the car, back flipping away from it. He landed on his feet and approached the window.
"My baby!" the woman cried.
"Hang on a second, I'll get you out." Mack promised.
He turned around and touched the second car, before he heaved and pushed it away, then turned back to the door.
"Okay, move back?" he asked.
The woman moved herself and her baby away, before Mack pulled the door off the car and threw it away.
"Come on?" he said, helping them out of the car. "Let's go?"
"Thank you." the woman said, as they all ran off.
The lava kept moving down the streets, as two groups of people ran towards each other, before the women screamed as they all turned and ran down the safe street.
At the hill, Rose, Ronny and Dax - all morphed - held their weapons while standing near a bunch of rocks. Rose also held her tracker near it, the screen rotated 90 degrees on its right, as she held the scanner against them.
"The source of the lava's behind these rocks." she explained. "Ronny?"
"Allow me." Ronny said, moving forward. "Drive Claws!"
She banged them together and began to quickly smash the rocks open, showing the lava.
"Ah!" Dax and Rose yelped.
They raised their forearms up and turned slightly, as Ronny approached them, before turning around.
"The heat's so intense!" Rose gasped. "We have to get closer!"
"I'll handle that." Dax said, before holding up his vortex. "Drive Vortex!"
He fired it, turning off the heat and slowing down the lava.
"There you go." he said, stopping. "It won't hold for long, but do your thing, Rose."
"Got it." Rose said, aiming her geyser. "Drive Geyser!"
She fired it, which hit the lava and extinguished it.
Back in the city, the people were now all cornered by the lava, as Mack, Will and Jazz landed in front of them all, who all turned to them. (Jazz was on Will's right)
"They're cornered! Now what?" Will asked, turning around.
"You got any ideas, guys?" Jazz asked frantically, as she and Mack turned back.
"Um, I know." Mack said, punching his hand.
Will and Jazz turned to him, as he touched Will's shoulder.
"Do you have your Slammer handy?" he asked.
"Oh, yeah." Will said.
He turned and held his right hand out, as his headlights lit up, then his slammer came into his hand.
"It's right here." he said, resting it on his shoulder.
"Nice." Mack said, holding his thumb up. "Now slam something."
Will grunted as he held his slammer up, then slammed it into the ground, creating a crevice, which the lava went into, until it was gone.
"Yeah!" a man whooped.
The crowd all cheered and clapped, as Mack folded his arms, while Will put his slammer down and patted the hammer end, as Jazz moved between the pair.
"All right!" Will whooped.
"Yeah!" Jazz whooped.
Mack patted Will's shoulder, before all three Rangers put their hands together.
"Whoo!" Mack whooped.
Later, at the Hartford Mansion, the Rangers and Mr. Hartford were down in the base room. (Jazz was between Ronny and Mack)
"We did what Moltor asked us to do; be heroes." Dax said happily.
"But the bad guys got away." Will said glumly.
"There will be another day." Mr. Hartford assured. "But today...today, you guys were great."
The Rangers all smiled.
"We were great? Mack was the one who was great." Rose said, turning to him.
The others did the same, with Will pointing at Mack, while Jazz and Dax patted his shoulders.
"He led us to victory and saved everyone's skin, including yours." Rose recalled, turning away.
"Yes. Great job, Mack. You wanted to be a Ranger and you were one, but now it's time to put away that fantasy." Mr. Hartford said, before approaching Mack. "I'll take that."
He took the tracker from Mack, before he turned and walked towards the steps.
"But, dad..." Mack began.
"I'll be upstairs in my office." Mr. Hartford explained.
Dax, Rose and Jazz all turned to Mack, as Will stared at Mr. Hartford, while Ronny turned to Dax and Rose, all feeling sorry for Mack, who looked upset.
"Guess he's really overprotective of you?" Jazz deduced, touching Mack's shoulder.
Once upstairs, Mr. Hartford approached the portrait his safe was behind, which he then pulled back. He put his thumb on the device, then turned the knob and opened the safe. He put the tracker into it, then picked up the real crown and held it up, before he turned and saw Moltor and some Lava Lizards.
"Very clever." Motlor remarked, pointing at him. "Now I'll take the real crown!"
Back downstairs, the chosen Rangers were all looking around, Rose standing by the main computer, Dax another panel, while Ronny and Will stood by the globe, as Jazz paced around. Will touched the globe, which glowed and beeped like radar, then he did it again, as the computer screen showed the world.
"Incredible." Will said. "I thought only the Defense Department had this type of loaded tracking capability."
Ronny and Jazz both came over to Rose.
"This one's way better. It's got a network of 27 satellites, wide-area augmentation system, parallel multi-channel design, and a differential multi-GPS system arcuate to one inch or less." Rose explained, as Dax came up beside her.
Everyone looked at her with puzzlement, before she turned to Ronny and Jazz.
"What?" she asked.
"Just how do you know that?" Jazz asked, impressed.
"Oh, I guess I'm the only one that memorized the data manual." Rose deduced, shrugging.
"Now, where are these amazing vehicles that they said we'd be using?" Ronny wondered.
She typed on the computer, before the screen showed their Zord bay, which had 11 Zords parked inside, 6 marching the Rangers colors, while the other five were orange, aqua, white, green and a navy/purple color, which were parked together.
"Wow." Ronny said.
"Cool." Will said, coming over.
"Sweet." Jazz said.
"I think you found them." Dax said.
"Those are for us?" Rose questioned.
"I may need to lie down a minute." Ronny muttered, speechless.
Meanwhile, outside, Mack was sitting on the steps outside the mansion, without his book, when Spencer came over behind him on his left, who then stopped.
"What; no book?" Spencer asked, surprised.
"I don't feel like it today." Mack admitted. "I guess I'm just tried about reading everyone else's adventures."
Spencer walked down the steps, then turned around and took out a cloth from his breast pocket.
"Nasty place, the outdoors." he said, putting it down on the steps beside Mack.
He turned around and sat on the cloth.
"Mack, I can see you're upset." Spencer said.
"I'm not upset, I'm confused." Mack explained. "My father's kept me sheltered my whole life, and now the one chance I have to prove myself, I do, and he takes it away."
"Ah... Look, I know you don't understand this, but he's only doing this to protect you." Spencer said.
Mack nodded skeptically.
"Your father is the most fearless man I've ever met." Spencer assured. "There's only one thing I know he's afraid of; losing you."
Mack turned to him.
"So, if sometimes you feel like just one of his possessions, remember that with all his wealth and his treasures, you are the one thing that to him, is irreplaceable." Spencer explained.
Mack turned away, thinking hard, as he could see what Jazz meant about his dad being overprotective.
A little later, Mack came running towards his dad's office.
"Dad!" he called.
He stopped and looked around, seeing the place was trashed as papers were all over, and several possessions were knocked over.
"Dad?" Mack said, walking over the papers.
He entered the office and looked around, before he turned and ran off, knowing his dad was kidnapped.
Meanwhile, at a beach, Moltor pushed Mr. Hartford down onto his chest.
"Ah!" he yelped.
He looked up and saw Flurious approaching them both.
"Ah, brother. Really nice to see you've survived all these years." Flurious said.
"Ah, brother, you're insincerity shines through as always." Moltor said.
"Who is your guest?" Flurious inquired.
"No one special." Moltor replied, as Mr. Hartford pulled himself up.
"I am Andrew Hartford, and I demand to be released!" he demanded.
"Andrew Hartford? You're the one who found the crown." Flurious said, approaching him. "I see my brother has enrolled you into helping him."
"I'm not helping him, and I'm not going to help you!" Mr. Hartford barked.
"Very smart of you, Moltor." Flurious said.
Moltor looked away from the crown - which he had admired - to Flurious.
"If he found the crown, perhaps he can help us find the jewels." Flurious suggested, touching Mr. Hartford's hair, making him move away.
"Us? Oh yes, of course, us." Moltor stuttered.
"Good." Flurious said, before backing away. "Perhaps I will join you later, when it isn't so hot."
"Oh, yes, of course." Moltor said.
Flurious turned and began to walk off, before he stopped and turned back.
"Uh, take care of yourself. Go back to your ice cube." Moltor said. "I'll handle him."
"See that you do, but don't fail me, brother." Flurious adivsed, pointing at him warningly.
He turned and walked off.
Back at the mansion, Mack was in the base with Spencer and the Rangers, telling them about what he'd found out.
"He's gone and his office is trashed. It's gotta be those lava freaks that who him." he deduced.
"At least he has his Locator Watch with him, that is if he hasn't broken it already." Spencer hoped, muttering.
"I'll program a search pattern starting with the West Coast grid." Rose explained. "I can widen it if necessary."
Mack nodded, sighing as he touched his chest.
"Don't worry, Mack. We're going to get your dad back." Dax promised, approaching and touching his shoulder.
"Thanks." Mack said, as Dax turned and walked off. "I just wish he hadn't taken Red's tracker."
"Ah, yes. The tracker." Spencer said. "What a pity it's in your father's office, locked in a full proof safe. Impossible to crack."
Will turned around with his arms folded, as Spencer turned to him.
"Impossible." Spencer said.
Will smiled, for he had a feeling he could crack it open.
A little later, upstairs, Will looked carefully at the safe, touching the sides of it.
"A citadel 500 with digital imprint signature code?" he questioned. "Impenetrable."
He turned away slightly to his kit, which was on the desk, then back to the safe.
"We'll just have to see about that." he whispered.
He turned around and opened his kit case, which had all sorts of tools in. He picked up a black scanning device, which he activated and held over a glass of water, picking up Mr. Hartford's DNA. He put it down in the kit, clicking it on a stand device, then another smaller device beeped, which had room for a thumb of finger to be placed in.
"Come on, baby?" he whispered.
A device stopped beeping, as a copy of Mr. Hartford's thumb print appeared on a piece of plastic.
"Yes, Mr. Hartford's thumb print." he said, putting his own thumb on it, picking it up.
He turned to the safe, then to the plastic, then back to the safe as he got up.
Downstairs, Rose and Dax were both working on the main computer, Mack, Spencer, Jazz and Ronny were all waiting, when the screen showed a island shaped like a mini Australia, with a beeping sonic wave coming from it.
"I've found him!" Rose said happily.
Everyone gathered around her, before Ronny typed on the computer.
"Oh, wonder of wonders. For once, Mr. Hartford remembered his locator watch." Spencer said proudly.
"Yes!" Mack said, before Dax touched his arm.
"Rotuma Island? Never heard of it." Ronny said.
The screen showed the island, which had an activate volcano.
"Me neither. I've been to many places on this planet, but never there." Jazz admitted.
"It's a remote island in Australasia, approximately 465 kilometers north of Fiji." Rose explained, to everyone's bewilderment. "Now what I don't know, is how we're going to get all the way over there."
"Well, the fastest way would be to use the Special Hydro Aero Recon Craft, which Mr. Hartford likes to call..." Spencer explained, walking past Dax, before pressing a button on the computer. "...the SHARC."
The SHARC popped up on the screen, spinning around, which resembled a silver large military jet, with four fins at the back, and tracks on the bottom.
"Sweet. I'm driving." Ronny said, pointing to herself.
"Yeah, I'm going too." Mack said. "Don't try and stop me, Spencer?"
"Hey, hotshot." came Will's voice.
Everyone turned around to him.
"If you're coming along, you might need this." he said, holding up Red's tracker.
"My tracker?" Mack said.
"You did it." Ronny smiled.
Will tossed the tracker to Mack, who caught it.
"Was there a doubt?" Will smirked.
A little later, the SHARC was moving rapidly across the water, with Ronny driving it, Dax beside her in the cockpit, and the rest in seats in the back, as there was eight seats altogether. (Jazz sat in front of Will)
"This baby ribs." Ronny said.
"We're getting close." Dax said.
Rose typed on a panel beside her, as they were all around the SHARC.
"Setting course for Rotuma Island." she explained.
"Got it." Will said.
"Right." Jazz said.
"Can't we go any faster?" Mack asked.
"You just said the magic word." Ronny grinned.
She pulled a knob back, speeding up the SHARC, making everyone lean back in their seats.
"AH!" they yelped.
"Wahoo!" Ronny whooped.
She kept driving the SHARC along the water towards the island.
Once on the island, the Rangers all walked along a beach while looking around. (Jazz was between Mack and Ronny)
"Now what?" Ronny asked, before they stopped.
"Let's look around." Mack said.
"Allow me?" Will said, stepping forward.
His eyes glowed in as he looked around, zooming in his sight, before he saw a cave entrance
"I think I found it." he said, pointing up. "There's a cave entrance on the west side of the volcano."
"Good job, Will." Mack said, patting his shoulder. "Let's go."
Will put his right hand near his ear, as he heard something, while the others began to move.
"Wait? I think I heard..." he said.
They all stopped as Lava Lizards popped up out of some tall grass.
"Lava Lizards!" Will exclaimed.
The Rangers all looked around as more came over, several jumping down, before they charged at the Rangers, all but Mack running off to separate them.
Mack dodged as one ran past him, then blocked another's sword with his left arm, then ducked as a third tried to slash him.
Will blocked ones kick with his hands, then ducked and spun around as it tried to slash him, dodging past another as he did, then he turned and whacked a third slightly with his arm. He turned to the first and chopped its side, then ducked as the second tried to slash him, before he grabbed and kicked it slightly, before a fourth kicked his leg, tripping him up onto his back.
"Ah!" he moaned.
Dax ducked and ran past one as it tried to slash him, then did the same with another, then he grabbed a third's forearm as it tried to, before he turned as the second slashed its sword with the third's, then he kicked it away. He raised the third's sword up, then jumped and spun around, kicking the first's forearm, knocking it down, then he turned and kicked the third's chest, but it grabbed his foot.
"AH!" he grunted.
It lifted his foot up, making him back flip onto his chest.
"AH!" he yelped.
Ronny sent a punch at one, but missed, then she turned and ducked as another ran past and tried to slash her, then she tried to punch it, but missed, but then it grabbed her arm and bent down, pulling her over itself.
"YAH!" she yelled, before she hit the ground on her back.
Rose whacked ones arm with her own, knocking it slightly, then she turned and kicked another's forearm, knocking it back, then she spun around and kicked another's sword, knocking it slightly. She turned to the first and whacked its sword with her forearm, making it spin around, then she turned and blocked the second's arm with her own, before it and the third grabbed her and pushed her away.
"AH!" she shrieked.
They both made her bend down backwards, before they bent down onto their backs threw her over themselves.
"AHH!" she screamed, hitting the ground on her back.
Jazz dodged as one tried to kick her, then she turned and blocked another's sword with her forearm, before she spun around and kicked a third's chest, knocking it back slightly. She turned to the first two, who both kicked her in the chest, knocking her back into the third, who grabbed her.
"Ah!" she groaned.
The third pushed her away slightly, then kicked her leg, tripping her up onto her chest.
"AH!" she moaned.
Mack hit ones forearm with his own, then he pushed another's back as he spun around, then he spun around and kicked a third away. He ducked and spun around to tackle a fourth, but missed, then he got up and blocked a kick from the second with his hands, before he raised his arms up. He ducked as the fourth tried to slash him, then the third grabbed him from behind as he kicked the second's side slightly, before he freed himself from the third, but then the second kicked him as he crossed his arms over.
"AH!" he yelped.
He stumbled back and fell over the third, which had bent down, before he hit the ground on his back.
"Uh!" he moaned.
One roared and raised his sword up, before it moved to slash him, as he braced himself. Ronny turned and saw what was happening, before he dashed over with her superspeed, grabbed Mack and dashed off with him, before the Lava Lizard could slash him.
Rose grabbed ones arm as it tried to hit her, before she threw it away, then turned and saw three more. They all raised their swords and came at her from different angles, before she dived away and turned invisible, making them all hit and knock each other down.
Jazz dodged as one tried to slash her, before she kicked it away, then she turned and saw another coming at her. She turned around and saw a third charging as well, before she teleported away, making them both hit each other.
"Dax, head for the cave!" Mack said, holding one by the arm.
"I'll jump to it." Dax joked.
He jumped up high and landed further along the beach, then did so again twice, before he went over the hill.
Inside the cave, Moltor led three Lava Lizards - two of which held Mr. Hartford - towards a lava pit.
"Bring him here?" Moltor commanded.
"Ah!" Mr. Hartford grunted.
"I'll give you one more chance to come to your senses." Moltor said. "Will you help me find the jewels or not?"
"The last time; I'll never help you!" Mr. Hartford swore.
Moltor grabbed the nearest Lava Lizard and threw it down into the lava pit, which screamed.
"You'll be next." he said, turning to Mr. Hartford.
Mr. Hartford gulped slightly as the other two kept hold of him, before the first came climbing out of the lava and back onto the balcony.
"Lava Lizards can survive molten lava." Moltor explained. "Now, let's see if you can."
He grabbed Mr. Hartford and threw him down towards the lava.
"AAHHH!" he screamed.
Dax came out of a tunnel on the other side of the pit, then brought out a handheld device called a Double-O Zip Shooter, which resembled a mini-telescope, with folded end.
"Zip-line go!" he shouted, jumping off the ledge.
A hook came out of the Double-O Zip Shooter, which shot up and hit the ceiling, then Dax swung forwards on it and grabbed Mr. Hartford.
"What?!" Moltor exclaimed. "NO!"
Dax swung himself and Mr. Hartford past Moltor and the Lava Lizards, before they landed together near the tunnel and turned around.
"That was the same stunt I did in King for a Day, only that time I saved a beautiful princess." Dax said proudly.
"I saw that movie. I don't remember you being in it." Mr. Hartford said.
"Story of my life." Dax said.
The Lava Lizards suddenly came at them, before Dax kicked ones sword away, then he jumped and spun around, kicking the second slightly, knocking it back. He turned to the third and blocked a punch from it with his forearm, then grabbed its left forearm, before grabbing its left arm and raised it up. He then let go and jumped while moving away, kicking its chest, while punching the second's chest at the same time, then he ducked and rolled past the first as it ran past and tried to slash him. He got up and turned around, then jumped and twirled around in mid-air as two ran past and tried to slash his legs, before he landed on his feet, then he jumped and spun around, kicking the second's sword, knocking it slightly. He landed and ducked, spinning around and tackled it onto its back, then he got up.
"Yah!" he yelled.
He kicked the second's chest as it got back up, before he back flipped towards Mr. Hartford, landing in front of him, before he turned around, then they both stared at Moltor.
"Run!" Dax yelled.
He and Mr. Hartford turned and ran down the tunnel, as Moltor shot lighting from his forehead, which hit the area near the entrance, making sparks come out of it.
"You can't run from me!" Moltor growled.
He and his lizards all began to chase after them.
Later, at the beach, Mack dodged as a Lava Lizard ran past him, before pushing its back slightly, then he grabbed its forearm as it tried to stab him, as Dax and Mr. Hartford came running towards the scene.
"Mack, what are you doing here?!" Mr. Hartford demanded.
Mack lifted two Lava Lizards arms away from him.
"Saving your butt." he replied.
He turned and ducked as a Lava Lizard tried to slash him, before he kicked its chest as it turned around, knocking it onto its back. Mr. Hartford hugged Mack slightly, making him turn as he returned it, before they looked at each other.
"Look, I thought I told you-" Mr. Hartford scowled.
Moltor dived down and landed crouched down nearby.
"You'll never escape this island!" he said coldly, getting up as several Lava Lizards appeared behind him.
Mr. Hartford and the Rangers all turned to him, Ronny holding a Lava Lizard by the arm.
"Great! Here comes hothead again." she said sarcastically, before pushing it away.
Mack took his tracker out of his pocket, before Mr. Hartford grabbed his arm.
"Mack, how did you...?" he began.
"Sorry, dad. You'll have to finish yelling at me later." Mack said.
He and Dax ran off as Mr. Hartford turned from them to Moltor.
Rose whacked a Lava Lizard's back with her forearm, before she ran off, as Will ducked and ran past another, while Jazz dodged and pushed a third, before she ran off.
"Let's turn up the heat." Moltor grinned, waving his swords around in a circle.
The Rangers all gathered together, before Mack held up his tracker. (Jazz was between Mack and Ronny)
"Ready?" he asked.
The others took their trackers off their arms and held them up.
"Ready!" they said.
They all opened up their trackers and pressed the top button on it.
"Overdrive Accelerate!"
(Morph sequence)
The screen split into five, Ronny in the top left, Rose in the top right, Will in the bottom left, Dax in the bottom right, Jazz in the middle. They all ran the wheel of their trackers down their arms, before they held them to their right, before the wheels stopped. They turned them and fired a beam at them, bringing up the projection of their suits and weapons, before they spun around and morphed up, with their chest symbol popping up on them. Their shoulder armor appeared on them, before their helmets did, then they did their fight poses.
Mack ran the wheel of his tracker down his arm, before he held it to his right, before the wheel stopped. He turned it and fired a beam from it, bringing up the projection of his suit and weapons, before he spun around morphed up, with the chest symbol popping up. His shoulder armor appeared on them, before his helmets did, then he did his fight pose.

Mack jumped and somersaulted over Moltor with his Drive Defender, in sword mode, then he landed on his feet as they both turned to each other. Mack ducked and tried to slash Moltor's legs, but missed as he jumped up, then they slashed their swords together twice, before Mack spun around and backed away to avoid a slash. He tried to stab Moltor, who slashed his sword with his right one, making him spin around, then he slashed it with his left, knocking Mack slightly, who then jumped and spun around, kicking his swords, making him spin around. Mack ducked and dodged as Moltor tried to slash him, then kicked his hand slightly, then they both moved past as they tried to stab each other, then they moved back and tried to slash each other, but missed. They both then slashed their swords together, before Moltor spun around and tried to slash Mack with both of his, as Mack held his up to block them, before he knocked them up slightly. He then ducked and spun around to tackle Moltor, but missed as he jumped past him, then Mack got up and spun around, blocking Moltor's right sword with his own, then he knocked it up and spun around, before hitting Moltor's chest with the handle of his.
"AH!" Moltor moaned.
He back flipped away and hit the ground on his chest.
Mr. Hartford smiled slightly, before he turned to the others, who were all battling the Lava Lizards.
Will - holding his sword backwards - blocked ones kick with it, then blocked another's sword with it, then he turned and blocked a third's sword with his handle, before he ducked and ran past it. He jumped and kicked his feet against a cliff face, before he dived down and slashed one across the chest, then he turned and slashed another as it came at him. He then turned and slashed a third, then grabbed a fourth's chest while slashing it, pinning it against the cliff face, then he threw it away, which hit the ground on its chest.
Dax spun around while blocked ones sword with his own, then he tried to slash another, but missed as it ran past him, before he jumped and flipped forwards. He turned sideways before he landed on his feet, then he slashed ones sword, then turned and slashed another's, then he moved past third and slashed its side. He turned to the second and slashed it across the chest, then spun around and slashed the first as it ran past him, then slashed it again, knocking it away onto its back.
Ronny blocked ones sword with her own, then slashed another's with it, then spun around while blocking a third's with it, then slashed a fourth down the chest slightly.
"Hyah!" she yelled.
She turned around and held it up, before she jumped up as one tried to slash her legs, then she kicked her feet against a cliff face and back flipped away. She landed on her feet, then jumped slightly while spinning around, slashing two across the chest slightly, then she slashed a third down the chest, knocking it down. She turned and ducked as one ran past and tried to slash her, then she dodged past the second as it did the same, before she spun around and slashed them both across the chest.
Rose - holding her Driver Defender in blaster mode - dodged past one, then blocked another's hand with her blaster, before she hit its back with it, then she ran past it. She jumped and twirled around, before she landed on her feet and fired it, hitting ones chest, knocking it down, then she dodged as another ran past and tried to slash her, then she spun around and kicked a third's sword. She spun around and fired again, hitting the second, knocking it down, then she turned and fired again, hitting the third and knocking it down.
Jazz blocked ones sword with her own, then turned around and ducked as another tried to slash her, before she ran off. She spun around and slashed a third's chest while running past it, knocking it down, then she spun around and kicked the second's sword as it tried to stab her. She turned right slightly and blocked the first's sword with her own, before she kicked its belly, knocking it back slightly, then she spun around and slashed them both across the chest.
Mack held up his sword, before he and Moltor charged at each other, then they slashed their swords together, then Motlor held his up as they locked them together. An explosion went off near them, before they pulled apart and spun around, then they locked their swords together.
"Do you know who you're dealing with?" Moltor asked.
"Do you?" Mack scoffed.
They both pulled apart, before Moltor backed away as Mack tried to slash him across the chest, who then spun around and did manage to slash him across the chest.
"AHH!" Moltor moaned, as he went flying away.
He hit the ground on his side and rolled onto his back, as Mack lowered his sword.
"I'm just getting started." he said.
He turned as his dad ran towards him.
"Come on, we gotta get outta here." he said, touching Mack's shoulder.
"Okay. Let's go." Mack said, as the others ran towards him.
They all turned and ran off.
Moltor pulled himself up and ran along the beach, as the SHARC turned and began to race along the water.
"You'll pay for this! My creature will destroy this island and the people who live here! I'll show these humans not to mess with me!" he swore, clutching his fist.
Later, at the mansion, Mr. Hartford and the Rangers - all helmetless - walked into the base with Spencer. (Jazz was between Will and Dax)
"Thank goodness you're alright, sir." Spencer said, turning to Mr. Hartford as they stopped. "I was really getting quite worried about you."
"Spencer, are you turning into a softy in your old age?" Mr. Hartford asked.
"Never, sir." Spencer assured.
The Rangers all laughed, before an alarm blared. They all turned to the computer screen, seeing a giant cybernetic Plesiosaurus-like monster that resembled Titanus, emerging from a tree line. It had shoulder mounted cannons, as well as on its upper chest, clawed hands, a shield on its chest, and what looked like a lantern above it.
"Giant Sea Creature's attacking Rotuma Island." Mr. Hartford said.
"Sounds like it's time for the big stuff." Ronny said.
"Alright, Ronny. Guys, get your DriveMax Zords and go." Mr. Hartford said.
"Oh, yeah!" Ronny whooped, as the others laughed.
All but Mack turned to the suitcases and picked up one each, which were called the Console Drivers, as the handle was the top part of a steering wheel.
"Dad, they need my help." Mack said.
Everyone turned to him, before Mr. Hartford looked at the Rangers, who all nodded, before he reluctantly did. Mack ran to the last Console Driver and picked it up, before he turned around.
"Mack, be careful?" Mr. Hartford said.
"Come on, Rangers!" Mack said.
They all turned and ran into the elevator, Mr. Hartford still looking worried, while Spencer smiled.
Once in the Zord bay, the Rangers all ran towards them, Will holding his Console Driver over his shoulder.
"Whoa." Dax breathed.
"Check it out." Ronny said.
"Far out." Jazz said.
"Cool." Rose said.
Mack sat in his Zord's cockpit, which resembled a large red dump truck with two loaders.
"Dump Driver!" he shouted, as the wheel and two knobs rose up on his console.
Will sat in his Zord's cockpit, which resembled a black and silver Formula 1 racecar, with armor on the front sides, and two wheels instead of one.
"Speed Driver!" he shouted, putting his console down.
Dax sat in his Zord's cockpit, which resembled a gyroplane with twin engines, a circle around each one, with a large piece of armor at the back.
"Yeah." he said, as his wheel and knobs rose up, which he grabbed. "Gyro Driver!"
Ronny sat in her Zord's cockpit's cockpit, which resembled a bulldozer with tank tracks over the back wheels.
"Yeah!" she said, putting her tracker down at the right end of the console. "Dozer Driver!"
Rose sat in her Zord's cockpit, which resembled a submarine, which had three propellers at the back, and two retractable claws at the front.
"Sub Driver!" she shouted, pressing the 'Go' and '5' buttons on her tracker.
Jazz sat in her Zord's cockpit, which resembled a desert jeep, with a retractable cannon on either side.
"Jeep Driver!" she shouted, grabbing her wheel.
The screen split into six, from left to right, Ronny, Dax, Mack, Will, Rose, Jazz.
"DriveMax Zords, move out!" they shouted, turning the wheels on their trackers.
The Dump Driver began to move along a ramp, followed by the Speed Driver, as the Gyro Driver began to lift up, its propellers spinning. The Dozer Driver began moving along a ramp, as the Sub Driver moved down a ramp and into some water, as the Jeep Driver moved along a ramp.
(Control room)
Mr. Hartford and Spencer saw the DriveMax Zords all moving along together, the Sub Driver over water, the Gyro Driver in the air.
"I'm programming the coordinates of the island into your Zords." Mr. Hartford explained. "Hurry, Rangers!"
At the island, the Giant Sea Creature pushed past some trees, then fired lasers from its cannons, which hit the Dump Driver slightly.
"Oh, yeah!" Mack whooped.
He hit the brake, causing the Dump Driver to skid around 180 degrees, before its loaders retracted out. It moved towards the Giant Sea Creature, as Mack pulled his knobs down, causing the ends of the loaders to form claws, which grabbed the Giant Sea Creature's hands. It groaned as the Dump Driver moved forward slightly, unable to get its hands free.
"I don't think so, pal." Mack said, grabbing his wheel.
He turned it, causing the Dump Driver to flap the ends of its dump out, knocking the Giant Sea Creature down onto its back.
"That slowed him down. Let's stop him for good." Mack said.
The screen split into five, Dax in the top left, Rose in the top right, Ronny in the bottom left, Will in the bottom right, Jazz in the middle.
"Right!" they all said, Ronny holding her right arm up, Dax his right thumb, and Jazz her right fist.
"DiveMax Megazord, activate!" Mack shouted, pressing the 'robot' button, then the buttons '1' to '6' on his tracker, before he spun the wheel on it.
The Dump, Dozer and Sub Drivers all stopped beside each other, before the Dozer Driver dug its dozer into the ground, retracting the bottom half out 180 degrees. The Sub Driver moved down so a hand came out of the end, while the claws retracted out, before both Zords attached themselves to the front wheels of the Dump Driver. Its loaders retracted out 180 degrees, forming the legs, before it rose up, retracting the front down onto the back, as the Speed Driver raced up the back, then the end rotated out onto the chest area, forming silver and gold armor, before a silver head rose up with yellow eyes.
Mack grabbed his console and held it up, before his seat shot down in his cockpit.
The Jeep Driver split in half and turned slightly as it raced forward, before both halves attached to either side of the back of the legs. The Gyro Driver's end moved away from the rest of it, showing it was a helmet, which landed on top of the head, as the rest of it landed on the back beneath the Speed Driver.
The Rangers all rose up in a cockpit with six stands with their colors and Zord numbers on, while the compress symbol was at the back, and a colored screen on either side. They left to right, Will, Ronny, Jazz, Mack, Rose and Dax, before putting their consoles onto their podiums, then their trackers on them.
"DriveMax Megazord, assembly complete!" Mack shouted.
The DriveMax Megazord stood at ease, holding a large shovel and pickaxe, as the symbol appeared behind it.
"Drive Digger!" Mack shouted, turning his wheel.
The DriveMax Megazord dug its shovel into the ground, and began digging with it, burying the Giant Sea Creature with a bunch of dirt after four scoops. It soon held both its weapons together sideways.
"Drive Digger, saber mode!" the Rangers shouted.
The weapons combined, with the pickaxe's handle bending inwards, while the end vanished, forming the DriveMax Saber, which the DriveMax Megazord held to its right, before it's body began to shake.
"Activate." Mack said.
The DriveMax Megazord moved its saber to its left, as the compress symbol appeared in front of it, before it twirled the saber around. The compress then spun around, before it slashed its saber down through it, hitting the Giant Sea Creature.
"AH!" it groaned.
Sparks came out all over it, as the DriveMax Megazord turned around and lowered its saber, as it seemingly blew up.
(Control room)
Mr. Hartford and Spencer stared at the screen.
"Mack has the makings of a fine Ranger, sir." Spencer assured.
"Don't you have some silverware for your to polish or something?" Mr. Hartford asked, unconvinced.
(Moltor's volcano)
Moltor sat in his throne with one of his swords, having watched the battle from his lava pool.
"Don't celebrate yet." he said, getting up. "This battle's not over!"
He turned his sword sideways, so he held it in his right hand, then pressed a button on it.
(Rotuma Island)
"Rise!" he commanded.
The Giant Sea Creature rose up, the shield on its chest glowing.
"Whoa!" Mack gasped, turning around.
The DriveMax Megazord turned as the Giant Sea Creature grabbed its arm and began shaking it.
"AHH!" the Rangers yelled.
Will, Ronny and Jazz all shook in their seats.
(Control room)
The DriveMax Megazord dropped its saber.
"He set up a device on that shield!" Mr. Hartford explained.
(Rotuma Island)
"Oh, that thing's gonna blow!" Rose gasped, touching his stand.
"We've gotta get away from it." Dax realized.
The DriveMax Megazord turned and whacked the Giant Sea Creature with its right arm, knocking it back slightly.
"Let's toss it." Mack said.
The DriveMax Megazord kicked its right leg out, with the flaps wrapping around the Giant Sea Creature's neck. Mack pushed his knobs forward, followed by Dax and Rose, then Jazz, then Will and Ronny, powering up the leg, before the DriveMax Megazord threw the Giant Sea Creature away, which exploded upon hitting the ground. The DriveMax Megazord stood at ease as it stared at the remains.
(Control room)
"They did it, Spencer!" Mr. Hartford said relieved. "They're alright."
"Of course, sir." Spencer said. "I never doubted it for a minute."
He took out a hanky and wiped his forehead with it, as he had been nervous.
Later, Moltor and Flurious were both in a field together, Flurious turning to Moltor in anger.
"You useless bag of rocks!" he scowled. "You were supposed to get Hartford to find the jewels!"
"I tried, but those Rangers gave me more trouble than I thought they would." Moltor explained.
Flurious looked at him, both carefully and curiously.
"Perhaps it would be better if you gave me the crown?" he suggested, holding his hand out.
"It'll be a cold day in my lava pit when that happens." Moltor scoffed.
He turned around and began to walk off, when Flurious angrily fired a blast from his staff, making him turn around. He jumped up as an explosion went off behind him, before he shot lighting from his forehead, but Flurious jumped backwards as it hit and created an explosion. He landed on his feet as Moltor took out his swords, then he backed away as Moltor landed on his feet and tried to slash him, then he knocked the swords down with his staff. Moltor crossed his swords over to block a stab from him, before Flurious pushed him slightly, then he ducked as Flurious spun around and tried to slash him.
Flurious tried to hit Moltor with the pole end of his staff, but he blocked it with his right hand, who then tried to hit Flurious, but he blocked it with his pole, then Flurious ducked as he tried to slash him. Moltor then blocked a kick from Flurious with his right hand, then blocked another with his left, then he kicked Flurious' leg as he raised it up, then he spun around to kick Flurious again, but Flurious grabbed his foot. He knocked it down, making Moltor stumble away, as he spun around, then Motlor shot lighting from his forehead, as Flurious fired a beam from his staff. Both attacks hit each other, creating an explosion between them, followed by a smokescreen which knocked them away.
"AHH!" Moltor yelled, before hitting the ground.
"AHH!" Flurious yelled, doing the same.
They rolled onto their backs, before they got up and glared at each other.
"Backstabber!" Moltor cursed, before they pulled themselves up. "I see how it is now!"
"Brother or no brother, it's every man for himself!" Flurious declared, before he turned and walked off.
"Fine." Moltor grumbled, turning around.
Meanwhile, at the mansion, Mr. Hartford sat in his office, looking at some paper, when Mack came over towards him, and put his tracker on the desk.
"I get why you don't want me on the team, dad." Mack said. "And if you still don't think I should do it, I'll respect your decision."
Mr. Hartford picked up the tracker.
"You really wanna be a part of this, don't you?" he asked.
"More than anything." Mack assured.
"Well, then I guess it's time you started making your own decisions." Mr. Hartford said.
Mack smiled and took the tracker back from him.
"I'm still not crazy about the idea, but I won't stop you." Mr. Hartford assured, before he looked around. "I'll have plenty to do here. It's gonna take all of our resources to stop them. I hate to admit it but, you look better in red than I do."
Mack smiled as he looked at the tracker, making his dad smile, before he looked up.
"Thanks, dad." he said, before he turned and ran off happily. "Yes!"
Mr. Hartford's smile faded slightly, hoping he made the right decision in letting his son be the Red Ranger.
Later, downstairs in the base, Mack was standing in the DNA re-sequencing machine, wearing a uniform like the others - only without the jacket. He looked at himself as the other Rangers and Spencer all watched, who held up his jacket, which was like Will's and Dax's, only with red line markings. (Jazz was on Ronny's left)
"Your DNA re-sequencing is now completed, sir." Spencer assured, as the machine stopped.
"I don't feel any different?" Mack questioned, puzzled as he touched his chest.
"Well, it takes a few minutes to kick in." Ronny explained, as Spencer put Mack's jacket on him.
"Yeah. We didn't feel different at first either, bro." Jazz joked, getting his attention. "Sorry, New Zealand slang."
"Oh... That explains the accent." Mack said.
"Great to have you on the team." Rose said.
"I can't believe this is really happening." Mack said happily, taking it.
Everyone smiled as he put it in place like the rest, before he felt something.
"Hey... Hold on?" he said.
He grabbed Spencer by the collar and lifted him up, making the others laugh, as he'd been given super-strength.
"Whoa!" he yelped.
The elevator door suddenly opened, and Mr. Hartford came in.
"When I asked for a raise, this is hardly what I had in mind." Spencer said sarcastically.
The Rangers all laaughed.
"I see you've given Mack his enhanced powers." Mr. Hartford noted. "You can put Spencer down now."
Mack nodded and put Spencer down.
"Uh... Thank you." he said.
He walked over to Mr. Hartford and leaned close to him.
"I had the re-sequencer calibrated especially for him, sir." he whispered.
Mr. Hartford nodded. "Listen up, Rangers, it's time to get to work." he said. "Our enemies have the crown, and now they're gonna be after the jewels. It's gonna be the mission of Operation Overdrive to find them first."
"Yeah!" the Rangers said.
Mack and Ronny held up their fists, as Will touched Mack's shoulder, all knowing how much finding the jewels meant in saving the planet.
A/N: Jazz will nearly always stand between Mack and Ronny whenever the Rangers are morphed together.
I really had trouble deciding where the Jeep Driver could go on the DiveMax Megazord, due to its design.
If you've noticed my summary saying six jewels, it's because I plan on doing my own jewel quest, meaning most of my original chapters will take place after each other, but not all of them.
