Storm and Belle approached the spaceport at the end of the hall when a group of Gamma guards flew down and surrounded them. The black guards approached as well with their guns raised leaving no where to escape "Stand Down" Red said. Belle gulped "Storm, what'd we do?" "Fight" Storm replied with a grin. He grabbed the closest Gamma and threw him into a screen. Belle leaped up and spin kicked Red in the face
The trio with Ura returned to the office but were met by a squad of guards "Don't worry, I have a plan?" Fiona said. She then shot one of the guards dead and then pointed the gun at Ura "Everybody, lower your weapons or I blow this woman's brains out". Lien-Da and Jet were taken by surprised but quickly raised their weapons "This was the plan?" Jet said.
Belle put her hand to a guard's neck "You're a Mobani cat!" "Meow". She tore the helmet off a Gamma and touched the head of the rabbit pilot "Dancer". The Gamma happily danced on the spot. She did the same to the next Gamma "Violent rage at your co-workers". The Gamma screamed and started shooting at the other Gammas.
Ura screamed and raised her hands "Lower your weapons". The guards did so "Gaia! Past Fiona's just mean!" Jet said. Lien-Da nodded in agreement "She was always like that and yet I was the bad guy". They backed up towards the lift "Chaos, bring the Kishio to us. Now!". The doors closed and they calmed down. Jet leaned forward "I'm so sorry about this, Ura". Fiona rolled her eyes "Oh, please" "We're here to save the life of our friend, that is all. She's not with us. We just paid her to help us get in and get out. You'd think that'd mean 'Oh, I'm gonna help you in a way where no one knows it's happening'. But no, what she means is 'I'm gonna shoot people. Threaten People'" "SHUT UP!". There was an awkward silence, but Jet continued "I know you're probably asking, why would I trust her? Well, that's a good question. The answer is we used to be in love". Lien-Da just kept staring ahead looking dead inside as Jet kept going "Yeah, she was my girlfriend, only she doesn't remember it, because it wasn't her. Because her dad threw her off a magic cliff and she died and then I lost my temper and nearly destroyed half the universe".
Jet didn't seem to notice that Ura was so scared she wasn't listening "Then she came back from the past and there she is. Why? Was it the magic cliff? I don't know. I'm not some Phantom Gem scientist. Just some dumbass Mobian dude who met a girl, fell in love and then that girl died and then came back a total dick". Ura glanced at Lien-Da who nodded "He left out some important information but that is the gist of it". The doors open and Jet immediately used his fans to throw powerful gusts of wind at the waiting guards. They were launched away and hit the walls knocking them out "Get to the security hub!". Lien-Da fires stun shots to cover them. Nearby Storm was taking on two Gammas at once. Fiona entered the hub with Ura "Everybody, down on the floor, or we blow your brains out". The head of security, a brown chipmunk, got to her feet "Hey, we don't want any-" Fiona shot her in the leg and she fell over. Jet made Fiona lower the gun "Come on! Would you please stop doing that". One of the others dragged the screaming Chipmunk away.
Storm threw another Gamma into a statue "YEAH!" he held up his hands victorious. He was too distracted to notice Red behind him. He raised his weapon and shot Storm in the back. Storm was launched across the hall and landed face down with the still smoking wound on his back. Belle ran across and tried to help him up "Run" he struggled to say but she didn't listen. She pulled him up but the two of them were no surrounded. Red fired a second shot into Storm's chest and he collapsed. Lien-Da ran towards them but another Gamma shot her in the back and she fell over. "Show me your hands, now!" Red ordered. Lien-Da and Belle both followed the command. Jet watched from inside the hub "Ura, please listen to me. We need to get out of here with this to save my best friend's life. If you could get us into the system of those Gammas I could talk to them. They are good people, like you. I'm certain of it. Please, let me speak to them". Fiona rolled her eyes "They're corporate shills, you idiot. They're not gonna listen to you" "They will listen if I speak from my heart". He took a breath "Ura, please". Ura looks him in the eyes for a moment before going over to the console as the Gammas outside begin firing on the doors. Ura puts her palm to a reader "You are in. Tell them your truth" "Yeah, I'm not that big of an idiot. I just needed into the system". Jet gets on the console and overrides the Gamma suits. The jets on their backs all suddenly activate and they shoot up into the roof. Jet smirks and glances at Fiona "Told you she was into me". They both run outside. Jet helps Lien-Da to her feet while Fiona and Belle help Storm. They head to the hanger where the Kishio clumsily lands "I am Chaos" "Yeah, that looked cool" Lien-Da said. They get onboard and take off easily escaping New Tek.
In the past Wave lied in a circle with her friends "Is Sky?" the raccoon asked staring at the roof. The Pronghorn laughed "That's not sky, that's a ceiling. But sire's making a new world for all of us and when we get there, there will be sky and it will be beautiful and forever" "Wow" the others all said. The metal hedgehog smiled "I have been thinking" "About what?" "Oh, nothing in particular. But I thought since you're my closets friends. And my only friends, you might be interested in knowing that I have been thinking". The Pronghorn laughed again "I've been thinking too. About something more singular. When Sire moves us to the new world, we're gonna need names. I mean 1C263 isn't really a name. So, I would like my name to be…Cassia". Wave smiled "Cassia? That's a pretty name" "Cassia" the raccoon and the hedgehog repeated. The Hedgehog considered "I think my name shall be Shard, because Sire said I am powered by a shard" he tapped his chest. Cassia liked it "Hello, Shard" "Hello, Cassia". The Raccoon's eyes widened "Me be called Marine" "Nice to meet you Marine. What about you friend?" Cassia asked. The bird tried to think "Someday, I'm gonna make great machines that fly, and the shockwave will shake the planet. Me and my friends are gonna go flying together into the forever and beautiful sky. Cassia, Shard, Marine and me…Wave".
