Chapter 3: Night Two. Try Something New
"That's a really fine desk and security suit."
Night came as swiftly as the degenerates who purchased the many services offered at Fredina's Nightclub. And Jack was none too pleased about it.
He wasn't sure what to expect during his second night. He only hoped that his brother kept him well informed this time around.
Jack wasted no time putting on his uniform, promptly making his way to Fredina's Nightclub via public transport soon after. He arrived about half an hour before his shift started, which was fine by him.
Jack opened the front doors, immediately being greeted by Braxton. "Hm, you really came back." He said gruffly.
Jack raised a brow, hearing the hidden surprise in his tone of voice. It took him a few seconds to realize what he meant. "Guessing Adam told you what happened last night?"
"Among other things."
Jack stopped a few feet from Braxton, noticing the three items in his arms. "What's that?"
"You and your brother must really be close, huh?" Braxton asked, much to Jack's confusion.
The question sort of came out of nowhere, so he awkwardly responded with a, "Yeah..."
"Hm." Braxton looked at Jack intently, as if studying him. Before his staring got awkward, he quickly handed the three items to Jack, nonverbally answering his previous question.
The three items were a simple flashlight, a black remote with a single button, and another tape. Jack looked up at Braxton, who gestured for him to take them. After some hesitation, he carefully took each item from Braxton.
"Try not to break these." He said blankly, then walked past Jack, heading for the exit.
"Hey, Braxton," Jack called out, causing Braxton to look over his shoulder. He didn't like the eerie animosity he felt radiating off the older security guard. There was a possibility he might've started off on the wrong foot with Braxton, so he wanted to be a bit more cordial with him. "Thanks." He said sincerely.
Braxton stared at Jack before giving him a small nod of acknowledgment, then walked out the door. Whether or not he genuinely appreciated Jack's words was unknown.
Jack sighed, then turned to the stage where the three mascots were. All three of them were facing forward, but unsurprisingly, Bonfie was staring at him. He couldn't tell if she was smiling more than before, but she was undoubtedly looking right at him.
Guess she's not trying to be subtle about it now. Jack thought, pushing his glasses up onto his face.
He slowly made his way across the main room, locking eyes with Bonfie as he did so. His shift hadn't started yet, but he was still worried she might try something now that Braxton was gone. Fortunately for him, all she did was track him with her eyes. As he watched her intently, he couldn't help but feel something was off. He didn't know what until he reached the other end of the main room.
Most of his focus was on Bonfie, so when he directed it to the other two animatronics, he nearly jumped out of his skin when he saw Chiku's entire head turned towards him. Unlike the other two, she wasn't smiling. She stared at Jack with a concerned facial expression, almost like she was worried. The sight instantly made Jack hurry to the safety of his office.
It took a few minutes for Jack to compose himself. He couldn't understand why he was suddenly being a big bitch about this. Maybe it was because of the drastic size difference between him and the mascots? He wasn't sure.
Jack eventually calmed himself and booted up the monitor, seeing he had ten minutes left before his shift started. He looked down at the three items he sat on his desk, staring at the tape in particular.
"Guess there's no better time than now." Jack scooted in his chair and pressed play.
"Jacky! Welcome to your second night!" An all too familiar voice cheered, filling the quiet ambiance of the security office. "Guess I owe you yet another apology for the last night. I saw the footage. Bonfie gave you quite the fright, didn't she?" There was a slight chuckle from the other end. Jack wasn't amused. "I can assure you, she didn't mean you any harm. In fact, none of them do! Well, mostly none of them... Though I'll admit, Bonfie is a bit of a clumsy girl."
"I can tell," Jack responded, recalling the many bottles that shattered when they collided into each other. Shit, Braxton had to clean all that up, didn't he? "Wait, did he say mostly?"
"Anywho, I told you last night I would make everything up to you, and I am here to deliver!" He boomed, clearly excited to redeem himself.
"So, along with this tape, you should've gotten a remote and a flashlight. Honestly, I meant to give you a flashlight during your first shift, but it slipped my mind. Sorry about that." Adam admitted awkwardly. "But the real prize you wanna pay attention to is that remote!"
Jack focused on the black remote, which honestly reminded him of something he'd seen in a cartoon. "Now, here in the biz, we call those Reboot Remotes. As I said before, the girls can't be turned off through normal means. Don't ask me why, that's just how they were designed. With that being said, in case of emergencies where they get a little...rough, each one has a chip installed in them. Upon activation, these chips can send signals throughout their bodies, disorienting them. I'm not too keen on the insider knowledge myself, but it basically makes them drunk. With any luck, they'll even pass out." Adam explained, much to Jack's fascination.
"Using it is simple enough. Just point the remote at the animatronic you want to 'reboot,' then click the button. I will warn you though, this remote isn't really a get-out-of-jail-free card. It only works in short distances, and well, you'll basically have to be up close and personal for it to have any effect. That's not even the worst part. The worst part is that the device will gradually weaken the more you use it in a single sitting. Again, not too sure why this is, but my best guess is that the signal that gets sent to the girls dampens if used on them in short bursts. So... if you have to use the Reboot Remote multiple times, try not to use it on the same mascot."
Jack sat there, processing that overload of information given to him. "Jeez, I forgot how much Adam can talk." Luckily, Jack was given a brief respite before Adam continued.
"Luckily for you, you shouldn't have to use the remote at all! I promise you, most of the girls are as friendly as can be! They just... have their quirks." Adam stumbled over his words and paused, probably thinking about what to say next. "I'll be honest with you. They can get a little handsy with newcomers. Great news for any new patrons, not so great news for you. Again, they don't mean you any harm. They just want to fulfill their purpose, which is... self-explanatory. And, well..."
Adam trailed off, evidently unsure how to word this next part. "Remember how I said they haven't been serviced in a while? Well, what I meant by that was they haven't been fucked since the investigation started. Sounds silly, I know. But they're basically addicts. They go without a pounding for too long, and they'll start acting like animals. This wouldn't be too bad if it weren't for the fact that they aren't as frail as they appear. I'm sure by now, you already knew that."
Jack was reminded of Bonfie's horrifying strength. He shivered at the thought.
"The original idea was to have them be the guards and the entertainers, which is why they're so strong. Maybe a bit too strong if you ask me. Seriously, they could bench press you and me combined!" Adam laughed, though Jack found nothing about that statement funny. "Anyway, let's just say that sometimes, when they're dealing with new people, they forget to mind their strength—doubly so if they haven't fucked anyone in a while." Adam paused, then chuckled. "Kinda reminds me of that old show we used to watch as kids. What was it again? Oh! Futurama! Yeah, let the girls get a hold of you, and you'll experience a real-life snu-snu."
He laughed again, only this time it trailed off into a nervous chuckle. "Y-Yeah I'm... I'm not kidding, by the way. We renovated the place once. Had the club closed for a whole month. After we reopened, the first patron the girls got ahold of ended up with their entire pelvis and skull fractured. It wasn't a pretty sight, let me tell you."
Jack was starting to think staying here wasn't such a good idea. Another thing—Adam's tone suggested that things like this were common for the club, which left Jack wondering how they hadn't been sued yet.
"Bad news aside, you're in luck! Because of that incident, the company had to install certain parameters into the girls. This prevents them from getting too frisky with anyone designated as a patron. The parameters don't exist for registered employees since that's technically one of the perks you get by working with us. But since you're not officially in the system, you're designated as a patron to them. That should prevent them from manhandling you should the worst happen."
Surprisingly, the spoonful of information put Jack at ease.
"Unfortunately, since you're a new face, it'll take some time for them to calm down around you. But that's why I'm here! I'll tell ya everything you need to know about the girls to keep 'em from getting into your pants." Jack could almost see the smile plastered across Adam's stupid face. His brother was having too much fun with this.
"Guess I'll start with the one who gave you trouble last night. She's our resident clumsy country gal. Bonfie's very kind but not too bright in the head, if you catch my drift. Now, not saying she's a bumbling buffoon or anything like that, but she doesn't use her head for much other than to entertain. Honestly, don't know how she turned out like that. She was initially going to be the club's bouncer. She's got the fighting skills to prove it, too!"
Adam clicked his tongue in slight disappointment. "Anyway, that basically means she's dense and naïve as all hell. She'll tell you that herself. She's, uh...terribly honest. She couldn't lie to save her life if it ever came down to it. You shouldn't have to worry about her much since you'll always hear her coming, one way or another."
Did Adam seriously just make a sexual innuendo?
"Speaking of hear, those ears on her aren't for show either. So if you end up outside of your office for any reason, try not to make any noise."
"Noted," Jack commented.
"Now, onto the kinder of the bunch, Chiku. Her personality was modeled after the phrase 'What are you? Chicken?' so she isn't as aggressive as the others. In fact, I dare say she's probably the safest one to be around. All you gotta do is show assertiveness, and she'll listen to you. Just, uh, don't let her linger around you for too long. She tends to get a bit ballsy the longer she's around a person."
So Chiku's the submissive one of the bunch? Can't say I'm surprised.
"And, of course, we can't forget Fredina. She's the star of the show and the face of the company! She's also the most... how do I put this? ...Domineering of the group." Adam said uncertainly. "The personality matrixes they use for these girls are insane, I tell you. Because of her position within the franchise, she sees herself as this unrivaled goddess; The patrons treat her as such."
Jack sighed, expecting such behavior from the patrons here.
"She's self-aware enough to tone it down around employees, but you're technically not one, so don't expect her to go easy on you should she get ahold of ya. Luckily for you, she only likes servicing patrons in the darkest of night. So, hey, that's one more reason not to run out of power, am I right?" Jack subconsciously nodded, looking at the monitor to see the power was at ninety-five percent.
"Now, all three of these girls are easy enough to manage. Just listen out for footsteps, show assertiveness, and don't run out of power. Should push come to shove, you can always use the remote on them. Honestly, you could probably outrun them all with ease!" Adam's humorous tone suddenly dropped. "Oh, wait, right. There's one other gal I forgot to mention..."
Unlike with the others, Adam sounded nervous. "Now look, Bonfie, Fredina, and Chiku all have their quirks, but they are harmless, all things considered. They only want to wring you dry. Your only real concern is our local pirate fox." Jack's face scrunched up in disgust. As if expecting Jack's face to contort, Adam addressed that immediately. "Yeah, I know you and foxes don't have a good history. But she is important to the franchise. So, don't treat her too unfairly, alright?"
"No promises."
Adam cleared his throat. "Like I was saying, if there's any mascot you ought to avoid, it's Fexa. She's always been the more aggressive one, which probably has something to do with the fact she was made with the rougher patrons in mind. She can take a beating better than the others, and can also give one too, if you know what I mean." Jack tilted his head, wondering what his brother was implying. "She was aggressive before, but now she's outright violent... I guess all the abuse from patrons finally got her to lash out."
Something about Adam's offhand comment didn't make sense to Jack. Was he insinuating her personality matrix malfunctioned? If so, just how rough were these people being with her?
"Our technicians are working to fix her, but for now, the company thought it best to keep her sheltered in her cove."
Oh, so she's in Lustful Cove. That makes sense.
"I can't stress this enough, Jack. Do not let Fexa catch you. 'Cause I promise, if she does, you won't leave with a broken pelvis. In fact, you won't leave at all." Jack rolled his eyes. Adam always had to make things dramatic. "Luckily, she rarely leaves her cove unless disturbed. The best way to avoid disturbing her is to not check the camera in her cove."
Jack raised a brow, confused.
"I know. It sounds redundant, considering you'd want to keep track of all the girls. But she knows if you do. I don't know how, but she'll know you're looking at her each time you check the cameras. Even if you can't see her. The more you do it, the more agitated she gets. And let me tell you, she's fast as fuck. Don't even bother outrunning her, because you can't," Adam warned, making Jack gulp. "Should you find yourself out of the office and in her line of sight, the best thing for you to do is make it to your office. Hell, leave the building if you gotta. She shouldn't follow you outside... Hopefully."
The fact that Adam was unsure if Fexa could leave the nightclub really made Jack question if the advancement in technology was really worth using on the four mascots. "Like I said, she rarely leaves the cove, so you should be fine. Even if she does, that remote works on her just like everyone else. Oh, one other thing. She's sensitive to bright lights, so if you must, flash your flashlight in her face. That'll buy you a few extra precious seconds."
Adam clapped. "And there you go! That's everything you need to know about the mascots. So, to recap, listen out for Bonfie, be assertive with Chiku, don't let the power go out, and avoid Fexa. Remember to use the remote if you need to, but don't use it too much." Adam exhaled. "Alright, Jacky, I believe in you. You got this, bro. Talk to you later!"
"Jesus, that was a lot." Jack stretched in his seat after realizing his back had gone stiff.
He appreciated the waterfall of information, but he wished it was given to him in writing format. Good thing he was an auditory learner. Otherwise, he'd be royally screwed.
Seriously though, how long was Adam talking for? It felt like hours had passed.
...
Jack took a gander at his monitor to see the current time was now one-thirty in the morning.
"DAMN!" He shot up in his seat, flabbergasted by how much time he wasted just from listening to Adam yap. If he had known his brother was going to be talking for that long, he would've come into work two hours earlier!
Suddenly, a small thud came from the right office door. Jack whipped his head in its direction, seeing Chiku standing there with both hands folded in front of her. He freaked out and jumped back, nearly knocking his chair over. There was no point in trying to close it since she was right underneath the industrial door; He doubted Adam wanted any of the mascots to be severely damaged.
Seeing Jack panic made Chiku jolt in surprise, but she quickly raised her hands. "P-Please calm down! I didn't mean to startle you." She stammered with a worried expression.
Her voice was soft and gentle, able to coax any man or woman into a state of relaxation. Even Jack felt a little at ease just from hearing her speak, though he didn't dare lower his guard. "Stay back! I'm warning you!" He quickly darted to his desk, snatching the Reboot Remote and aiming it at Chiku. "I'm not afraid to use this!" He did a good job hiding the fear in his voice.
Speaking of fear, Chiku looked absolutely terrified. She was probably more afraid than Jack himself. "Please! I-I just wanted to check on you, t-that's all, I swear!" Chiku pleaded, bowing her head frantically. Unlike Bonfie, she didn't have any discernible accent. Once again, Jack was impressed with how real the animatronics sounded.
He stayed in his defensive position for a few seconds, soon realizing that Chiku was actually trembling. "Are you... Okay?" The words left his mouth subconsciously.
Chiku looked up from her bowing and spoke. "I... Y-Yes... J-Just please don't hurt me! I didn't mean to upset you!" She pleaded again, leaving Jack confused. Was she not aware she could snap him like a twig? Or was she just acting so submissive because of her programming and his designation as a patron?
Whatever the case, the whole thing was starting to freak him out. He eased up on his defensive stance but still kept the remote aimed at Chiku. "I'm not upset. Nor am I gonna hurt you. You just startled me, is all..." He said, causing Chiku to look up at him once more. His words seemed to have stopped her from trembling, but she still looked scared.
"You uh...said you wanted to check on me?" He asked, hoping some conversation would stop her from looking afraid. Her near-human resemblance and lack of visible mechanical parts made Jack feel like he was threatening a woman, which, in turn, made him feel bad.
Chiku slowly rose from her bowing position, reminding Jack how she towered over him. She nodded apologetically to his question. "T-That's right."
"Why?"
"I heard everything that happened last night... Bonfie can be oblivious and not know when she's scaring people. I just wanted to make sure you were okay." An animatronic worrying about his well-being? Was that part of their programming? Maybe Braxton was right. They're more than just sex dolls.
"I-I'm fine." He said, feeling slightly awkward that he was talking to a robot. It reminded him of those apps some people used to chat with AI. He used to ridicule people who did that, so he was slowly feeling like a hypocrite because of what he was doing now.
Jack and Chiku stood there, staring at each other awkwardly. He was waiting for her to leave, but to his surprise, she asked, "Can I stay with you for a while?"
He was about to reply with a 'Hell no' but stopped himself. It was probably in his best interest not to get on the wrong foot with the friendliest girl here. Besides, Adam did say Chiku was the safest to be around out of the four mascots. If she stayed in his office, that'd be one less animatronic he'd have to worry about.
As long as he kept watching her, she should be fine...
"...Sure." He said hesitantly. Chiku's eyes lit up almost immediately at the answer. He lowered the remote and pointed at her. "Just no funny business, alright? You try to pull the slightest move, and I'll..." Jack trailed off, hearing some movement in the left hall. After a short delay, he quickly closed the left door. A metallic slam echoed through the room.
Moments later, Bonfie appeared at the window. "Shucks, guess you heard me comin', huh?" She chuckled from the other end, her voice slightly muffled. "Look, sugar. I'm sorry about last night. Let me in, and I'll make it up to you." She cooed with a seductive look in her one visible eye.
Honestly, even though he isn't into robots like that, if it meant she would leave him alone, Jack probably would've sent her to Pound Town and be done with it. But after some careful consideration, he decided he would like to keep his pelvis intact.
"Not happening. Go finger yourself or something."
"Aw, but that's no fun! Two players is always betta than one." She argued. After a moment, she noticed Chiku. "How come she's allowed inside, but I ain't?"
Jack turned to Chiku, who looked nervous now that she was dragged into the mix. "Unlike you, she hasn't done anything." He stated, turning back to Bonfie, who pouted in response.
She looked between Chiku and Jack for a minute before a smile adorned on her face. "Pumpkin, be a dear and open this door. Pretty please?"
Jack wondered who she was talking to, only to see Chiku step in front of him, about to do as told. "Hey, hey!" He stopped her in her tracks with just his words alone. "What do you think you're doing?"
Chiku somehow looked even more nervous than before. "I-I'm opening the door?" She answered honestly.
"Oh, don't worry bout him, pumpkin. He just don't know the good times that await him! Open this door, and I guarantee he'll thank you for doing so later." Bonfie encouraged, and by now, Jack could see what she was doing.
Chiku resumed her previous task, but Jack called out to her again moments before she opened the door. "Hey!" He shouted, this time more sternly. "Did I say you could open the door?"
Chiku tensed up. "N-No, but..."
"Pumpkin!" Bonfie called out, gaining Chiku's attention. "We friends, ain't we?"
"Y-Yes! We are."
"Then do a girl a solid and open the door." She asked politely.
"Chiku, you want to stay in this room, right?" Chiku looked back at Jack and nodded. "Then if you know what's good for you, don't open the damn door."
Chiku looked between Jack and Bonfie. It looked like she was about ready to pass out, and if Jack wasn't seeing things, she was totally sweating as well.
After having a moment, Chiku stood up straight and backed away from Bonfie. "S-Sorry Bonfie, but I wanna stay in here..."
Having made her decision, Bonfie stepped from the window and crossed her arms. "Alrighty then, be that way." She huffed with a frown, then glared at Jack, that seductive look still prevalent in her eye.
"I'll be back later." She promised, walking away.
Jack sighed in relief and, after a few minutes, opened the door.
He didn't pay any attention to Chiku, instead choosing to sit back down in his chair and focus on getting through the night.
As the hours passed, he would halt Bonfie's advances and check the rooms via the cameras to make sure nothing needed to be fixed. As instructed by Adam, he avoided checking Lustful Cove as much as possible.
Occasionally, Jack would turn and look at Chiku to see what she was doing. For the most part, she seemed content with just watching Jack do his work, even without talking. She'd freeze up whenever he stared at her, but would go back to normal every time he turned back to the monitor.
Jack eventually found himself lost in thought, thinking about Chiku and her outfit. Something about it had been bothering him from the moment he first laid eyes on her, and he finally figured out what. Fredina's Nightclub was fashioned as a, well, nightclub. As such, every mascot he's seen thus far matched the club aesthetic—Except for Chiku. For some reason, her makers decided sticking an apron on her was more appealing than having her be dressed for something more appropriate, like, say, the bar. But no, instead, it looked like she belonged in a kitchen. It's like Fazclaire Entertainment couldn't be bothered to at least try and pretend this whole scheme wasn't what it actually was. It angered Jack to no end.
His anger was immediately quelled when he felt a soft, yet tight grip on his arm. He looked down to see Chiku had grabbed him for no apparent reason. Her touch was oddly warm. Now that he thought about it, when Bonfie had him in her grasp, she also felt warm. Did they have internal heaters or something? More importantly, why was she holding onto him so tightly?
"Chiku?" Jack looked up at Chiku. Her entire face was beet red, which startled him. He soon realized she was breathing heavily, which he didn't even know they could do. The lengths their engineers went to have them perfectly replicate a living person was crazy.
"P-Please, I can't...hold it anymore..." she whimpered, practically panting like a dog in heat. Jack tried to snatch his arm back, but she held on and squeezed, starting to cause him some pain.
"N-No, please. Don't go..." She grabbed his arm with her other hand, pulling it in between her bosom. The only thing separating his arm from coming into contact with her skin was a thin apron. Even then, he could feel how soft her boobs were.
"Y-You can do whatever you want to me. Just please...let me have you..." she moaned, leaning in closer to him.
Jack wasn't sure what came over her, but he assumed it had something to do with the fact that she got too comfortable around him. Regardless, he knew what his next course of action was.
Without warning, he grabbed the Reboot Remote, aimed it at Chiku, and pressed the button. Seconds later, she fell unconscious, nearly falling on top of Jack in the process.
He didn't realize how fast his heart was thumping until after the danger was averted. "That's the last time I let one of them in the office..." He murmured to himself before getting out of his seat. The goal now was to put Chiku out of the office, preferably before she woke up.
Jack went around her, seeing the apron really was the only piece of clothing she wore. Well, that and a black thong, which didn't do much to cover her backside. He grabbed her by the legs, fighting the temptation to look at her ginormous ass.
Surprisingly, she wasn't as heavy as he expected, which was odd, considering she had the biggest 'assets' out of the three girls he'd seen thus far. He thought their weight was what resulted in these 'snu snu' incidents, but maybe it was because they couldn't moderate their freakishly abnormal strength when they were horny. That was his working theory, anyway.
Jack dragged her out of the office, placing her a few feet down the right hall. Afterward, he rushed back to the office and closed the right door. He heard her wake up a minute later, but she must've been too embarrassed to face him after her failed attempt at sex since she didn't come back to the door.
The rest of the night went without incident, fortunately enough for Jack.
