The sun rose on the sleepy town of Littleroot Town. Amelia had already gotten up and was out training already an hour ago. Crimson was just walking up in May's bed having replayed the moments of last night in his head.
"Ugh, honestly I should just count my blessings there's no Vought." Crimson thought to himself. "At least it's just a small handful and hell…Gendo got rid of the Nazi for me."

His thoughts stopped to see May was next to him in bed. He swore that she mentioned she'd take the couch. She was still in her sleepwear: a black sports bra and a pair of black boy shorts. He also swore she had on a red undershirt last night.
"Morning, May…I thought you wanted me to take the bed." Crimson remarked.
"You complaining?" May asked teasingly.
"No. Not at all~" Crimson mused.
Being this close to her was a reminder of why May was attractive…and being this near her like this added fuel to that fire.
"I saw how quickly Hiramatsu was interested in you. She even gave you her number and an offer to fuck right then and there." May mused. "I just wanted to make it clear that I'm interested. Maybe it won't be today…but in the future. Maybe the near future if things work out."
"Well message received…" Crimson said dumbly as they got out of bed.

"Now I-"
May's thoughts stopped given how 'awake' Crimson was. Crimson had not noticed and left to use the shower in the house not wanting to use the one for May's room. A blushing May couldn't help but think about what she saw.
"Well he's certainly awake~" May said biting her lip.
The way he stood over her and his form got all the more excited in several different ways. However, she got out of her musing to hurry off to shower herself. They were burning daylight after all. Crimson finished his shower before getting dressed. He settled to wear a black and orange collared short-sleeved shirt, a black and green wristband on the wrist that didn't have his Mega Band, a green headband, dark gray slim-fit long pants, a black Logo Cap, and a pair of grey Alolan Snow aviators. He retained the fingerless gloves and shoes Delia got him, making a note to buy Devon running shoes of different colors.
The thing to complete the outfit was a blue and white varsity jacket that bore the colors of the Stormin' Starmies baseball team. It had been a gift from Misty after going with her to a game during the downtime before his trip to Hoenn.
With his gear in order, he got on his backpack before looking back at the mirror.
"You got this." Crimson said before leaving the bathroom.
May would come out of her room in mostly in the same clothes, but the shirt was replaced with a scarlet racerback.
"I didn't know you were into baseball." May said as Crimson chuckled.
"At times, I prefer basketball though." Crimson mused as they headed downstairs.
"There you two are…" Caroline remarked. "A guy on Skarmory came by and dropped off a box for Crimson."
"Oh good, Shady sent one of his guys." Crimson said before opening it. "Here, it's an Experience Share like mine and Amelia's. It'll make training your team much less of a hassle."
Caroline revealed that Amelia made breakfast for everyone before she left to train. May and Crimson would help themselves to the food, scarfing it down voraciously. Amelia had returned. Like the others, she had changed it up wearing a blue sports bra with white linings and accents, matching shorts that had side strips, black armbands, a blue Logo Cap, and white hi-top sneakers. She retained her gloves, belt, jacket, and sunglasses.
"Ready to go, young master?" Amelia asked.
"Yeah…I am." Crimson said before finishing his food.
"You lot take your training seriously…I feel out of shape in comparison." Caroline said sheepishly.
"Even then, you'd still look better than to the average jane outside of the regions." Crimson said smoothly. "Don't doubt yourself too much."
"Aren't you the charmer?" Polly said from the doorway. "I just hope you don't chase married women."
"I don't." Crimson snarked. "If I want an older woman, plenty of single ones around."
Polly laughed at this before taking her left. After a few minutes, everyone was out of the house ready to hit the road.
"Crimson, you wouldn't have any spare sunglasses, would you?" May asked.
"Alolan Snow aviators. Only got brown, purple, and pink, though." Crimson said as May as asked for the pink ones. "Here."
She put them on as they finally left the route. Solomon, Buster, and Alastair walked alongside their trainers. The four had a level of idle chat before Caroline asked a question that got May awkwardly twiddling her thumbs.
"No, mom. Nothing happened last night." May espoused.
"Yet." Crimson teased as May punched his shoulder.
"May, I'm not going to act like the possibility of something going on between you won't happen if you're travelling. Especially, when it's obvious you're interested. Just don't rush into things." Caroline said firmly.
The four would take a different path to Oldale Town unaware an officer was scouting the idea where Translucent was last marked by his tracker. She got on the phone to call Gendo given the results.
"Gendo, we got an issue. Whoever murdered him was smart enough to leave little to no trace…no corpse either. From the last of things, there was a fight…but your test tube baby seemed not to even damage your boy to even bleed. Whoever murdered him was smart enough to dispose the body, and tough enough to kill him in the first place." Officer Hikiishi said looking over what little evidence. "I…I don't want anything further to do with this."
"What do you think? I'm paying you to get results." Gendo snarled.
The officer sighed but had an idea.
"Ok, if he's a trainer then he has to be registered for the Pokémon League. If I could get access to the computers in the Pokémon Center in Oldale Town, I can look there for information. But…I don't think I want to take the chance to because I won't have any justification to be poking around in their systems. But I got an idea…" Officer Hikiishi said before hanging up and leaving the area.

(Oldale Town | July 21st | 7:20 a.m.)
"Thanks for holding up your end of the bargain, Hiramatsu. Heal Pulse is going to be really useful for Adhara." Crimson said as Hiramatsu sipped her coffee.
"I don't like being woken up so early…but you did make me coffee so it's all forgiven." Hiramatsu responded. "Where's the others?"
"PokéMart to pick up some stuff." Crimson said as the doors opened to let in Officer Hikiishi.
"Nurse, tell me your computer system isn't still fucked." She rudely snapped. "You're probably not aware."
"Yes, I am awake." Hiramatsu snidely said. "What do you want, officer?"
"I need records of trainers passing through. I'm looking for a person of interest that may be connected to that pod crash outside. All I got from the witness that was a male trainer." Officer Hikiishi said as Crimson caught on.
"Who saw it?" Hiramatsu asked only for the officer to dismiss her.
Hiramatsu's voice went stern demanding an answer along with a warrant, and the officer grabbed her by the collar thinking she could intimidate Hiramatsu. The officer found herself hurled out of the center by Shusaku.
"Listen to me, you lazy bitch. I don't need a fucking warrant and unless you want me to-"
"Let her go." Crimson interrupted.
"Fuck off, kurobo!"
Crimson was about to do something, but the officer began gripping her chest before collapsing on the floor. Hiramatsu sprang into action as she did not like the rude officer, she was still someone in need of medical care.
"I read the cop's mind, Crimson. She is dirty…in cahoots with the people involved with that pod." Shusaku said telepathically.
"Thanks for the save then. How long she going to be out of commission?" Crimson mentally responded.
"That and the fall…her body's stress from the cosmetic surgery. At least a month is what I bought for you and Adhara. Now go out and flag down a Jenny for help."
Crimson nodded before leaving to get another officer.
"Yeah, one of your officers just had a heart attack in the center after doing this." Crimson said before playing the recording. "Puffed up all full of anger and just collapsed clutching her heart."
"I'm so sorry this happened, young man. This'll be handled after we check on her."
The officer rounded up some fellow officers to go to the center as Crimson returned to his group.
"We need to go." Crimson remarked.
"What happened?" May asked.
"An officer just had a heart attack." Crimson sharply said as they were heading for Bridgeway.
"Oh, how awful." Caroline said as Crimson rolled his eyes.
