"If there are no questions, i would suggest doing what you need to do, before i start the next chapter," i state. They take the opportunity to either get food and drink or use the bathroom. Izuku ended up taking eri to the little girls room, since she needed to use it. While i waited for them to come back, i took out one of the catfish from my storage space and went to the kitchen. Once i put it on the counter, i scaled it and cut it up, while also taking great care to remove the bones. I then cooked and seasoned it, before i put all the meat on a rather large plate. I went back to the viewing area, sat the plate in front of my spot, sat down, picked up a bite of meat and bit into it, where i ended up groaning in enjoyment. "Man," i said after swallowing. "That source material was NOT joking about those elroe catfish being delicious," i said before i took another bite.
I look to the side at reximus, and saw that he was literally drooling in my carpet. "Reximus, please stop drooling on my carpet," i said, snapping him out of it. "Sorry about that, it just smells heavenly," he said as he used a foreleg in a futile attempt to wipe the drool from his mouth. I snapped my fingers to clean up the drool, conjured a plate, put some of the meat i cooked on it and put the plate in front of him, where he dug in with gusto. Although, thankfully, he didn't make a mess.
Once izuku and eri returned and sat down, i simply snapped my fingers and the next chapter started to play, as i ate my own food.
Chapter 05

Izumi was shocked. "Fuck, i accidentally maxed out [taboo, she said, right before she fell asleep. Now installing information.
Now
As she slept, izumi dreamed the information that was downloaded into her brain. She saw a city in ruins, a beam of blueish-white light shooting up towards the sky. Most of the audience had finally figured out what i meant earlier, about society falling backwards, except for eri. With a start, she was breathing heavily. "I get it. A planet is like a living body. all those years ago, people were using the blood and energy of the world itself, despite the MANY warnings of what would happen. Now, that system is, quite literally, the ONLY thing that's holding this planet together, and ALIVE, but i have a feeling that the system and people are wearing out," she said, as she started to walk. "That actually makes a terrifying amount of sense," toshinori said. In the lighting, there was no difference on her body. Except for a design in black markings on her back. Upon closer inspection, it was revealed to be a type of skull.
"Looks like she has joined the darkness," fumikage stated. Izuku's face turned red in embarrassment as he covered his face with his hands. Eri looked up at him and wondered why her dad turned red.
"Now that i think about it, i wonder what's the next option of evolution for me?" izumi wondered. She tapped a scythe point into the air in front of her, to see the evolution tree. "Huh, looks like the next option available to me will be [zana horowa]. Although after that…" izumi railed off.
"What's a zana horowa?" mina asked the question in the minds of almost the entire audience. "The definition of a zana horowa will be explained later," i said absently as i focused on eating. Reximus, on the other hand, was beginning to make a mess of the food i gave him on a special plate that continually recreated the food put on the plate, so it never runs out. He was eating and watching the show. He tried to speak, but i punched his snout. "Don't talk with your mouth full, reximus," i reprimand him. Reximus, grumbling, resumed eating.
She tapped on [arachne]. "Huh, after [zana horowa] is [arachne, but the requirements for [arachne] are CRAZY," she said. She then saw one of the requirements to be an arachne. "[ruler of pride, huh?" she opened the list of obtainable skills. After searching for a while, she saw the skill she needed.

She purchased the [pride] skill. Skill obtained: [pride]. Proficiency level has been reached. Obtained the skill and title [ruler of pride]. As a result of obtaining [ruler of pride, [abyss magic lvl 10] has been acquired. "Cool. i JUST purchased [pride, and it immediately upgrades to [ruler of pride]. Good thing i have [heresy nullification, because i have a strong feeling that the ruler class skills alter the mind and soul of the ones that have them. If that's true, i suspect that the ONLY way to protect yourself against the negative effects of them is to have [heresy nullification," izumi was saying to herself.
"That makes sense," nezu said.
"Since THAT happened, i've decided to get something to help with movement," izumi said, as she searched through the purchasable skills. After searching for an hour, she found a skill that seem promising.
[spatial maneuvering]
Skill purchased [spatial maneuvering lvl 1]. She bought the skill and practiced using it, stopping only to sleep and eat. After a week of near non-stop practicing, she heard the voice again. Proficiency level has been reached. Skill [spatial maneuvering lvl 8] has upgraded to [dimensional maneuvering lvl 4].
Izumi decided to keep on practicing until she maxed it out.
Future
The class of the kingdom's magical academy were outside in the nearby forest. "Alright class, today we will be working on your [magic operation] and [magic perception] skills. However, so we don't burn down the forest, you will be using water magic," the teacher said. "Now, come get a wand for you to practice with," the teacher said.
"Man. using water magic is so LAME. i prefer my fire magic," katsuki/hugo was saying/complaining. "Be quiet. Listen to the teacher, prince hugo," shlain/tenya said. Suddenly, there was a REALLY strong vibration coming from the earth.
After a few more vibrations, each getting progressively stronger than the last, the source of the vibrations was revealed, when it crashed through the trees, and towered over the remaining trees. "That's an earth dragon!" jiro's reincarnation yelled in shock.
"Now THIS is what i'm talking about," hugo said, as he prepped his fire magic. As soon as hugo's fire spell was ready, hugo blasted the dragon with all the mana he had. After he finished blasting the dragon, he knelt on one knee, as he huffed and panted in exhaustion.
"Typical katsuki: complaining about assignments from the teacher. When it comes to real life problems, he takes a 'blast first, question never' approach," izuku stated. Katsuki opened his mouth to yell obscenities, but his mother punched him in his mouth, shutting him up before he could even start.
"Survive THAT you bastard," hugo smirked, even in his exhaustion. The smoke cleared to reveal…

"Come on, show us the result of the attack," mina and denki complained in harmony.

The dragon had taken absolutely NO damage, much to hugo's shock. Most of the audience was shocked, as well. "It must have the [divine dragon scales] skill to protect itself against magic," jiro said. "Then we use physical abilities," schlain said, before he drew his sword and charged. "Smart deduction, lida. But that was an incredibly stupid plan: just charging with your weapon drawn," aizawa criticized his student. Tenya turned red in embarrassment, and he looked down at his lap. After fighting for about half an hour, ochaco managed to find an opening. Taking it, she lunged at the earth dragon, and sunk her teeth into its neck, splashing her with blood, as the dragon died.
As the class cheered (except for hugo, as he was bitch slapped by the dragon's tail earlier in the fight) tenya walked up to ochaco, who seem rather down. "Ochaco, you ok?" tenya asked. "Use appraisal on me," she said.
"What's up with the dragon girl?" mina asked in concern. "I think we're about to find out," tsuyu said bluntly.
Befuddled by the odd request, tenya did so, and what he saw shocked him.
[kin eater]
"No way," he said in shock. He looked at the dead earth dragon. "Was this thing, one of your parents?" he asked. He fell to his hands and knees and started to puke his guts out.
At that revelation, nearly everyone in the audience started to empty their stomachs through their mouths. The only ones not doing so were izuku (barely), eri, katsuki and the adults.
labyrinth
It had been a month since she acquired both [ruler of pride] and [dimensional maneuvering, and, with them, izumi managed to get [dimensional maneuvering lvl 4] to lvl 10, as well as get to lvl 49. Proficiency threshold has been reached. Skill [rot resistance lvl 1] has increased to [rot resistance lvl 10]. Proficiency threshold has been reached. Skill [rot attack lvl 1] has reached lvl 10. Proficiency threshold has been reached. Skill [hp rapid recovery lvl 8] has upgraded to [hp ultra-fast recovery lvl 4] Proficiency threshold has been reached. [ede saine] can now evolve into [zana horowa] proceed with evolution?
"Yes, please," izumi said. Immediately after she said that, she fell asleep. A few hours later, she woke up. "Ugh, i HATE falling asleep every time i evolve. Hopefully, the next time will be the last time," izumi complained.
She noticed a nearby crystal, and decided to check out her new body. Her body now has a black collar thing right behind her head, and going part way up her body.
That's it.
"Huh, looks like the change was minimal, this time," she said. She then got a deadpan face. "Was it REALLY necessary to knock me out, just for a small cosmetic change?"
"I agree. Was it REALLY necessary?" izuku agreed with his counterpart.
Proficiency threshold has been reached. All core stats have been increased, as a result of your evolution. You now have the unique skill [immortality]. "Wait, WHAT?! I have immortality, now? The one thing people all over my old world were so desperate to obtain?!" Yes "FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC!" izumi cheered.
"Oh, come on!" everyone in the audience, not counting eri, complained about not having the immortality skill.
She then began to explore the dungeon, until she saw a light at one end. "Is that what i think it is?" she asked tearfully, yet full of hope. She ran towards the light, and she began to smell things that she hasn't, since she died in japan. The BIGGEST thing that she smelled, however, was fresh, clean air.
A large portion of the audience perked up at that. "That must be the exit," momo deduced.
"I was right, that's the main entrance to this hellhole that i was born into," she cried out in joy. Once she was out, she did indeed smell fresh, clean air. However…
"WHY THE HELL ARE THERE WALLS OUT HERE?! I WANTED TO ESCAPE THAT HELLHOLE, NOT GET BOXED IN, AGAIN!" she ranted. Suddenly, she was attacked by arrows, spears and magic. All of it bounced off of her body. She shook her head, and rubbed it with her scythe foreleg. She saw a bunch of people armed and prepared to attack her.
"Huh, those walls must be there because of the monsters that fled that place because of her," ochaco said. "Agreed. Not to mention, those guards must be there to kill any that happen to escape, like all those monsters did," shoto said.
"Oh, i get it. These people must be here to prevent things from escaping that hellhole," izumi said in realization. "Since they're just doing their job, i'll hold back," she said. A ball of darkness appeared between her forelegs, and shot towards the walls. The walls were destroyed and crumbling, but the people would survive, albeit injured. Nothing some healing magic cannot fix.
"That's good," inko said. "Shame we can't have healing magic," nezu said sadly.
She then ran off in a panic. "Um, yeah, i was never here!" she declared in a panic. Some of the audience were laughing at what she said, and the fact that she was running. After she ran for a few hours, she saw a town in the distance. After jumping into the air and using [dimensional maneuvering] to create platforms, she was able to get a better view of the town.
"Hmm, while i WOULD like to go to that town, i'm a monster now. Therefore, odds are that they'll just attack me on principle," she said, before she jumped down from the platform and onto the ground. After exploring for a bit, she found a beach.
"Oh, this is a REALLY nice beach," she said. "And here i am, without a swimsuit OR a human form, sadly," izumi pouted. She then spotted some trees. "Oh, i've got an idea," she said.
She went over to the trees, cut a few down and started to hollow them out. After hollowing out the tree trunks, she lashed them together with her webbing. "There we go: a makeshift boat," she said. "That'll work on general principle," toshinori said. She pushed the boat to the water, got in, and pushed off. After a few minutes, she was in the middle of the ocean, via strong currents.
"Ah, this is so relaxing," she said in a calm tone. Just then, a sea dragon tried to attack her, but she killed it with a black bullet to the head. Proficiency threshold has been reached. [zana horowa] is now lvl 51. All core stats have been increased.
Days later
Izumi's boat had been floating in the ocean for a few days now. Luckily, sea dragons kept attacking her boat, every now and then, so she didn't starve. "Oh, man. I know that i said that it was relaxing to do this days ago, but now i wish that i hit land, already," izumi complained. "Yeah. even for something as relaxing as that, sometimes you just need something else," nezu said.
Shortly after she said that, her boat did indeed hit land. After she quickly got out, she laid onto her back. "Oh, man. It feels really nice to be on something that doesn't rock and sway," she said.
That was when she noticed a sound. Bringing up the skills list, she purchased [telescopic sight], which she used to see the source of the sounds. "Elves?" she asked. She looked at the carriage. "Um, ain't this supposed to be a fallen technological world, not a fantasy world, according to yami luna kitsune? Mina asked. "I'll answer questions at the end of the chapter," i state, before i resume eating. "Why are they targeting that carriage?" she asked.
She then had a thought. "Hold up," she said. "Aren't elves supposed to be good guys in fantasy?" she asked herself. Just then, the three elves pulled out blades, and had evil grins. Izumi felt a sweatdrop on the side of her face.
Izumi was not the only one that had a sweatdrop on the side of her head (sans eri).
She quickly appeared next to them. Izuku quickly covered eri's eyes. She killed two with a slash to the neck and killed the third with a [black bullet]. She then looked out at the carriage that the elves were targeting. "Hm, i guess i'd better watch over that carriage and whoever is in it," she decided.
"Now that i think about it, this would be the perfect time to try and level up [telescopic sight]," she said to herself. And so, she followed the carriage, while also practicing her [telescopic sight], in order to level it up.
A few days after beginning to follow the carriage, izumi saw that she was right to follow it. Why? Because bandits were attacking it.
Before she could react quick enough, the bandits had already killed the few guards, and the driver was badly injured. Reacting quickly, if only to save the family, izumi quickly webbed herself into a tree near the carriage.
Izumi saw that one of the bandits had managed to open the door, and was intimidating him. Acting quickly, she webbed that bandit's neck and pulled him to her, snapping his neck in the process. "What is that monster?" "i don't know, but it got the boss!" "let's get out of here!" were the voices of the bandits. However, there was a blur of speed, and the bandits were dead. Proficiency threshold has been reached. All core stats have been increased. [hana zorowa lvl 51] has increased to lvl 55
After she killed the bandits, izumi healed the driver, before she moved to the defenders of the carriage. Izuku removed his hand from eri's eyes. The driver watched in shock that a spider monster was healing his fellow workers. He quickly opened the door to the carriage, to see if his lord, lady and young mistress were alright.
"Merazophis, what's wrong?" his lord asked. "I don't know how to describe it, my lord, but for you to see it for yourself," merazophis said. Merazophis, his lord and his lady went outside the carriage, with his lady carrying the young mistress.
What they saw was baffling to say the least. They saw a green zana horowa healing their men. After it finished, the spider monster webbed up the bandits it killed, bowed to the three of them, and left, dead bandits in tow.
'That green spider. Something about it seems… familiar, to me,' the baby thought to herself. Most of the audience realized something. "That little girl must be a reincarnation," momo deduced.
elsewhere
"Oh, man, that was close," izumi said as she was eating the bandits. "Good thing i'm the [ruler of mercy], which allows me to use some powerful healing magic," she said. She then finished eating most of the bandits, burped, and proceeded to follow that carriage, again.
Once the chapter ended, i burped and put the rest of my food in my spacial storage. "So, what were the questions?" i ask as i faced the audience. "First, what's the difference between an ede saine and a zana horowa?" toshinori asked. "Ede saine are seen as omens of death, given how few there ever were. Additionally, they start as a class B monster, but they CAN reach S rank," i explained ede saine. "Zana horowa, on the other hand, are legendary class at the bare minimum. Aside from that, there's next to no information about the zana horowa. The only things known about them are that they are legendary class, have a skull design on their back, are almost completely white and have immortality," i explain zana horowa.
The ones that understood my words (everyone except eri) were shocked by what i was able to explain. "Now, i would like to rest for a bit, to let my food digest. So, until the next chapter starts, feel free to do what you all need to," i state as i went to my really oversized cushion, laid down and crossed my forelegs before using my crossed forelegs as a pillow as i got ready for a nap.
