The Mutant Family
Ash was in the battlefield room having a double battle with Eddy & Lee. Ash was using his Male Nidoran & Spark the Delta Seedot while Eddy was using his Meowth & Lee was using her new Deino. May, Marie, Ed, & Edd we're watching from the sidelines
"Nidoran, use Venom Swipe on Meowth." Ash said. Nidoran charged at Meowth with his claws glowing purple
"Meowth, Dodge & use Feint Attack." Eddy said as Meowth did backflip to dodge before disappearing & reappearing & kicked Nidoran
"Spark, use Charge Beam on Deino." Ash said
"Seedot!" Spark said as he fired a beam of yellow electricity
"Use Dragon Rage." Lee said as Deino fired a blue blast of energy which collided with Charge Beam
"Nidoran use Counter & Spark us Bide." Ash said. Nidoran glowed orange & tackled Meowth as Spark became surrounded by red aura
"Meowth, use Shadow Ball on Spark." Eddy said as Meowth fired a purple & black shadowy ball from its hands & hit Spark
"Deino, use Fire Fang on Nidoran." Lee said
"Deino!" Deino said as it charged at Nidoran with its mouth cover in flames
"Water Pulse." Ash said as Nidoran fired an orb of blue water from his mouth & hit Deino while extinguishing the Fire Fang
"Okay then, use Dragon Breath on Spark." Lee said. Deino fired a light blue beam of energy from its mouth
"Spark, Dodge & roll over it." Ash smirked
Spark jumped & rolled over the Dragon Breath, just then the energy from the Dragon Breath was absorbed into Seedot
"Let it rip!" Ash said
"SEEDOT!" Spark fired a blue beam of energy & hit Deino
"Whoa!" Eddy & Lee said surprisingly
"Nice job, you two." Ash said
"Seedot!/Nido!" Spark & Nidoran said as they glowed bluish white
Nidoran evolved into Nidorino while Spark evolved into Delta Nuzleaf. Delta Nuzleaf was light blue with a yellow mask marking, a lightning bolt shape on top off his head & a cloud around its torso
"Nidorino/Nuzleaf!" Spark said as Ash scanned them
Delta Nuzleaf, the Energetic Pokémon, an Electric Type, & the evolved form of Delta Seedot. Though it has a cloud around its waist, it is still too heavy to levitate. It clings to its cloud desperately whenever someone gets too close to it.

Learned Moves: Toxic & Venoshock
"Awesome, now Pikachu along with some others can learn Thunderbolt." Ash thought before saying "I think it's best if we end things here."
"Right, good job, Deino." Lee said as she returned Deino
"Rest for now." Eddy said as he returned Meowth
"Ash, that thing that happened with Bide & Dragon Breath was so cool, how did Spark do that without getting hit by Dragon Breath?" Ed said
"Well, that's because I had Spark use the spinning technique while using Bide to absorb the energy from the attack, once that happens not only can it change Bide's attack but it can also change its Type too." Ash explained
"That's incredibly brilliant, how did you come up with something like that?" Edd said impressively
"I actually picked it up from someone." Ash said "Hey Kankers, you girls never told me about your dreams & what you wanna be."
"Oh yeah, actually aside from being the boys' bodyguard, we don't really know what we wanna be." Marie said
"Nope, nothing at all." May said
"I see…" Ash said as he thought "I wonder if I can recruit these three into Team Rainbow Rocket."
"Guys guys! We have exciting news." Bubbles said as she & her sisters entered the room
"What is it?" Ash said as the Powerpuff Girls sent out a Charmeleon, Quilladin, & Brionne. "Wow, your starters evolved."
"I know, pretty cool right?" Buttercup said
"I see your Nidoran & Delta Seedot have evolved as well." Blossom said
"That's right, which means we are one step ahead in getting stronger." Ash said in determination
"Nuz!/Nido!" Spark & Nidorino nodded in agreement
"Attention all passengers, Captain Maker speaking, we will be arriving in Mutant City in an hour." Candlemaker announced through the speakers
"Great, we need to get to our room & get our stuff." Ash said as the others agreed
An hour later, all the passenger were dropped off except Ash as he was saying goodbye to the spies who were in their human forms
"Xibalba, Candlemaker, La Muerte, thank you for the lift to the next city, my friends & I had a really fun time." Ash said
"You're welcome, Ash, we look forward to seeing you again." Xibalba smiled
"Be safe out there, Mijo." La Muerte said as she hugged Ash
"Yeah, & good luck, young blood." Candlemaker said as he fist bumped Ash
"Will I be able to meet the other spies too?" Ash said
"Well, of course, & they're looking forward to meeting you for the first time." Candlemaker said
"That's good, I can't wait to meet them too." Ash smiled
"Hey Ash, are you coming out?" Eddy's voice called out
"Yes, yes, I'm coming." Ash called back "Adios, you three."
"Adios Ash." La Muerte smiled
"Goodbye for now." Xibalba said
"See you in Hoenn." Candlemaker said
After getting off the S.S. LAD, Ash met up with the others & saw Mutant City
"Wow, this is a big city." Ash said
"Mm-hm, pretty similar to ours." Blossom said
"Hey Girls, we're gonna move on to the next town for my first Gym Battle, I need to catch more Pokémon & train. Oh & Ash, here." Eddy said as he handed Ash a hand-sized sphere with multicolored paint-like marks.
"What's this?" Ash asked
"It's a jawbreaker, I was gonna save it for myself, but since you helped us out I figured I would give it to you as a gift of our appreciation." Eddy said
"Oh, thank you, Eddy, that's very generous of you guys." Ash said
"No problem." Eddy said as he shook Ash's hand & smirked "But this isn't the beginning of our friendship, it's the beginning of our new rivalry."
"I agree, & I'm not planning on losing to you again next time we battle." Ash smirked back
"Ash, before we go, we just wanna warn you to be careful around Mutant City, I heard it can be very dangerous at night." Edd said
"Don't worry, Double D, whatever danger I'm gonna run into, I'm sure I can handle it." Ash said
"Let's hope so." Edd said as he & the other Eds along with the Kankers left
"See you at the contest, Ash." Bubbles said as she & her sisters took off
At night, Ash was at an empty park as he decided to do some night training until he got a call
You have a call from Professor Utonium
"Hello, Professor?" Ash said
"Ash, I've done my research on Shadow & I found it." Utonium said
"What is it?" Ash said
"Ages ago, there was a Trainer like you & he also had the ability to catch & tame Heartless along with other uncatchable creatures." Utonium said "But there's more, it is said that he was able to do that due his heart being filled with both light & darkness."
"Both light & darkness, you mean like half & half?" Ash said
"Exactly, the light of his heart was caused by his good nature from being generous & helping others along with doing the right things. As for the dark of his heart, it was caused by a painful past that he endured." Utonium explained
"Oh, so if I can catch & tame them, that means my heart is filled with both light & darkness as well?" Ash said
"It appears so, could you somehow be descended from that Trainer?" Utonium said
"I don't think that's the case, Professor, to be honest I never had it easy growing up which is possibly why there was darkness in my heart." Ash said
"I see, that makes sense." Utonium said
"Wait a minute, does that mean anyone with a bad past experience & a good heart could have that power to tame them?" Ash said "Like your daughters for example."
"I actually never thought of that, although it could be a possibility." Utonium said "I'm guessing my girls told you what happened to them in the past, right?"
"They did, why would you think they were bad when they didn't know this Mojo Pokémon tricked them." Ash said
"Ash, it was nothing like that, I was just overwhelmed." Utonium said in defense before sighing "The town had gone completely crazy like they had never seen kids playing before, I knew their powers would take some getting used to, but jail, lawsuits, & angry mobs. How do you think I felt about that situation?"
"I understand, they told me that you went to jail for creating them, & I'm sorry that happened to you." Ash said sympathetically
"No, no, it's fine, there were right about one thing, it was my fault." Utonium said solemnly "I thought my daughters knew how to control their powers, but I was wrong. How could I have been so stupid to think that? I could have taught them how to control their powers better, I was such an irresponsible joke as a parent."
"Professor, it's alright, it was obvious that you were new at parenting, not all parents are perfect." Ash said "Those kinds of things may get real messy when it comes to parents & sometimes they mess up, but that doesn't mean they don't care. But the most important thing is that you were trying, & that's more important than you. What you said to the girls didn't make me think any less of you, as a matter of fact, I'm quite envious of them having you as a Dad."
"Thank you, Ash, I'm glad you understand, I love my girls very much & I'm blessed to have them as my daughters." Utonium said
"Hey, you were the one who created them, you should thank yourself." Ash said
"Hahaha, I suppose you're right." Utonium chuckled
"Hey Professor, since you're done with research, may I have Shadow back now." Ash said
"Of course, do you have Pokémon in exchange?" Utonium asked
"Yeah, I actually caught another one if you know what I mean." Ash said
"Alright then, send him in." Utonium said
After Ash exchanged Soldier for Shadow, he felt a presence & turned to see a ninja
"You must be Ash Tajiri, the Trainer with the special Pikachu & I assume your Eevee must be special too." The Ninja said
"Who are you & what do you want?" Ash said
"The clan is in need of rare & special Pokémon, I'll be asking you to hand over your Pikachu & Eevee along with other Pokémon that are in your current possession." The Ninja said
"No way, not gonna happen, I'm not someone who gives my Pokémon to strangers, especially suspicious ones like yourself." Ash glared
"You seem to be more resistant than you look, it appears we have no choice." The Ninja said as other ninja came to his aid
Just then the lights came off & Ash heard grunting & thudding, when the light came back on, the Ninja were on the ground unconscious.
"What?" Ash said surprisingly
"Ash, look over there." Pikachu pointed at a small figure which took off
"Hey wait!" Ash called out as he ran after the figure
Ash had used his aura to see where the figure went which led him into a manhole. After entering the manhole, Ash went through the sewer & found an underground hideout.
"What is this place?" Eevee said
"I don't know, but it looks like someone's been living here." Ash said
"Hey!" A voice said
Ash turned & saw 4 tall anthropomorphic turtles with different colored eye masks which are red, blue, purple, & orange
"What do you think you're doing here?" The blue mask said sternly
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to intrude." Ash said
"You're not welcomed here, who sent you?" The red mask glared
"Relax bros, he's just a kid." The orange mask said
"We can't be too careful, it's bad enough the Foot are after us." The purple mask said
"I mean you guys no harm, I was just looking for someone." Ash said
"That's what they all say." Red mask said as he & Purple mask grabbed Ash & pin him to the wall
"Hey, what are you doing? I'm not here to hurt anyone." Ash said in alert
"We'll be the judge of that, sadly we're not letting you go until we're sure you're not one of them?" Blue mask said
"One of what? What are you talking about?" Ash said confusingly
"That's enough!" A voice said
They looked & saw a tall anthropomorphic brown rat wearing a red robe & bandages on his arms
"Sensei, this boy has invaded our home." Blue mask said
"I'm aware of that, my son, release him." the Rat said
"But sensei, he might be a spy working for them." Red mask said
"Do not jump to conclusions, let me speak to him." the Rat said
"Yes sensei." Red mask said as he & purple mask let go of Ash
"Boy, come hither." The rat said as Ash approached him "Who are you?"
"My name's Ash Tajiri." Ash said
"& What is your reason for being here?" The Rat said
"I was saved by a small figure from being ambushed by a bunch of ninjas, I was hoping to thank them for that." Ash said
"Hmm…Squirtle!" The Rat said
Just then a Squirtle dropped down in front of Ash, but this Squirtle had purple skin, white eyes with a black mask-like pattern over them, a black cloth on the back of its shell, a blue belt around its waist, & black wristbands
"That Squirtle, is that?" Ash said as he pulled out his Roto-Arc Phone
Delta Squirtle, the Ninja Pokémon, a Dark & Fighting Type. Though its shell causes it to stand out when hiding in the shadows, it conceals itself using the cloth on its back.
"A Dark & Fighting Type, how cool." Ash said "Thanks for helping me out back there."
"Squirtle." Delta Squirtle nodded
"Allow us to introduce ourselves, my name is Splinter & these are my sons." Splinter said
"I'm Leonardo." Leonardo said
"Raphael." Raphael said
"Donatello." Donatello said
"Name's Michelangelo, but you can call us Leo, Raph, Donnie, & Mikey." Michelangelo said
"Nice to meet you all, what exactly are you guys?" Ash said
"We're actually four turtles & a rat who have been affected by the mutagen." Donatello said
"Mutagen?" Ash said
"It's a chemical substance that can turn living beings into mutants." Donatello said "Hence how this city got its name."
"We're sorry for ambushing you like that, we thought you were one of them." Leonardo said
"You mean that group of ninjas I encountered?" Ash said
"Yes, they are an organization known as The Foot Clan led by a ruthless leader called the Shredder." Splinter said
"Hm, I'm guessing their goal is to take over the world which is why they wanted my Pokémon." Ash said
"I'm afraid so." Splinter said
"Hey, aren't you the kid who competed in the Bedrock & Seashore Contest." Michelangelo said
"I am, you guys saw me on TV too?" Ash said
"We did, when you compete in a couple of Contests, you tend to get pretty famous." Leonardo said
"Are you sure you're a Coordinator, because you look more like the Trainer type." Raphael said
"Well, I'm actually doing both Contests & Gyms." Ash said
"Really, then you must have a lot of work ahead of you." Leonardo said "How many badges do you have?"
"2 so far, is this city the right place for a Pokémon Gym?" Ash asked
"It is, but two badges aren't gonna be enough for you to compete in the Gym." Donatello said
"How's that?" Ash said
"Well, you're gonna need four badges in order for you to be strong enough to face our big sis." Donatello said "But sometimes trainers go to the Sound Village to get their fifth badge before coming back around to this city to face her."
"Why?" Ash said
"Because their Pokémon are at the same level." Raphael shrugged
"I see." Ash said before his stomach growled "Whoops, I guess I forgot to eat something today."
"Why don't you stay here with us for dinner." Splinter offered
"Oh no, I don't wanna trouble, besides I've been craving some deep dish chili dog pizza pot pie." Ash said
"Let's go for it!" Michelangelo said ecstatically
"Huh?" Ash said surprisingly
"You just said the magic word?" Donatello smiled
"Uhh, which one?" Ash said
"PIZZA!" The turtles exclaimed
"You guys eat pizza?" Ash said
"Doesn't everybody?" Raphael said "Do you know how to make that mouthful of a dish?"
"Yes, I do, would it be alright if I used your kitchen." Ash said
"You have permission." Splinter said
"Great." Ash said
A little later, after Ash finished preparing the dishes, he served it to the mutant family as the turtles took a bite before having stars in their eyes
"Oh…" Leonardo said
"My…" Raphael said
"God…" Donatello said
"Dude, this is the best thing I ever tasted!" Michelangelo beamed
"Awesome!" Leonardo said
"Righteous!" Raphael said
"Wicked!" Donatello said
"COWABUNGA!" The Turtles cheered
"Judging by your amazement, you guys like it a lot." Ash said
"Oh no, bro, we LOVE it a lot." Michelangelo said
"You're a really good cook." Donatello said
"Yeah, you're gonna make a woman happy as they say the way to a person's heart is their stomach, right sensei?" Leonardo said
"That is correct, my son." Splinter said
"So, you guys are like mutant animals?" Ash said
"Yes, but I was once human before this mutated transformation." Splinter said "It started when I had started a new life in Mutant City, I had bought four baby turtles from a pet shop until I passed a strange man & decided to follow him. I saw him making some sort of deal with someone who was holding a canister of green ooze which was the mutagen. Unfortunately, I had been caught & ambushed, once I had fought back the canister was dropped along with the baby turtles, & that's how our transformation came to be."
"Wow." Ash said in awe
"Now you know about our origin." Leonardo said
"Yeah, it's amazing." Ash said "Did you say the Gym Leader is your big sister a moment ago?"
"Well, she's not really related to us, we just look up to her as our big sis." Leonardo said
"Does she by any chance specialize in Psychic Types?" Ash said
"She actually does, she's also a reporter ." Donatello said
"Is Delta Squirtle your Pokémon?" Ash said
"No, he's a wild one we saved one day but he neither belongs to any of us." Splinter said "You were lucky that he saved you from the Foot."
"To be honest, I was gonna defend myself from them, but I appreciate that." Ash said
"Can you?" Splinter said
"Yeah, I actually fought in a couple of battles with some Heartless previously, I'm actually in training." Ash said
"Hmm, we shall see if what you say is true." Splinter said "I suppose you were going to train your Pokémon, is that correct?"
"Yes sir." Ash nodded
"Then how about a one on one Pokémon match with my sons." Splinter said
"You mean you guys have Pokémon?" Ash said
"We do, so how about it, Ash, wanna battle?" Leonardo said
"Yeah." Ash said
After dinner, Ash & the mutant family came to a battlefield room
"Now, who would you like to face first?" Splinter asked
"Oh, pick me! Me! Me!" Michelangelo said
"Okay, I'll choose Mikey." Ash said
"Very well, this is one on one, no substitution." Splinter said "Please, select your Pokémon."
"This is gonna be awesome, go Torkoal!' Michelangelo said as he sent out a Torkoal
"Torkoal!" Torkoal said
"Wizard, I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out Wizard the Delta Lotad
"Lotad." Wizard said
"Let the battle begin!" Splinter said
ASH VS MICHELANGELO
"Your move, little bro." Michelangelo said
"Right, Wizard, use Water Gun." Ash said
"Lotad!" Wizard said as he fired a stream of water from his mouth
"Torkoal, Withdraw." Michelangelo said
"Tor." Torkoal said as it went into its shell & got hit
"Now, use Rapid Spin." Michelangelo said as Torkoal spun while charging at Wizard
"Use Confusion." Ash said
"Lo." Wizard said as its eyes glowed violet & telekinetically stopped Torkoal in its tracks before sending it back
"Not bad, but get a load of this, use Smoke Bomb!" Michelangelo said
"Wait, Smoke Bomb?" Ash said surprisingly
"Torkoal!" Torkoal said as it fired a black & gray ball from the center of its shell which exploded into thick black & gray smoke & covered the battlefield
"Lo? Tad?" Wizard looked around
"What kind of attack is that? It's like Smokescreen but stronger." Ash said
"Correctamundo, bro, like Smokescreen, Smoke Bomb is a Normal Type move, but it lowers the opponent's accuracy twice in one hit, you won't see us coming." Michelangelo said "Alright, Torkoal, use Flame Wheel."
"Torkoal!" Torkoal said as it released fire from its mouth while spinning in its shell at the same time & hit Wizard
"Wizard, try to listen to where Torkoal is gonna attack." Ash said as Lotad closed his eyes & listened
"Heads up!" Michelangelo called out as Wizard got hit by Flame Wheel again
"What!?" Ash said shockingly "That came out of nowhere!"
"Like I told you, you won't see us coming, use Flame Wheel one more time." Michelangelo said as Torkoal charged with Flame Wheel
"We're not done yet, Wizard, Water Gun Counter Shield." Ash said
Wizard spun while using Water Gun creating a water tornado which hit Torkoal & sent it back, then the water tornado shot up & created rain drops which cleared the smoke
"What the heck!?' Michelangelo said shockingly
"Now, use Psyshock." Ash said. Wizard fired multiple purple blasts of energy from his beak & hit Torkoal.
"Torkoal, use Flamethrower." Michelangelo said
"Koal!" Torkoal said as it shot fire from its mouth
"Wizard, use Water Pulse." Ash said. Wizard fired an orb of blue water from his beak which collided with Flamethrower & turned into steam. When the stream cleared, Wizard has disappeared
"Lotad!" A voice called out as everyone looked up to see Wizard in the air with his eye glowing green while surrounded by green aura
"Watch out, use Ancient Power." Michelangelo said. Torkoal stomped its front legs making multiple rocks surrounded by purple energy come out of the ground & launched them at Wizard
"Dodge with Telekinesis & get on Torkoal's back." Ash said as Wizard dodged & flew past the Ancient Power before getting on Torkoal's back.
"Shake it off, Rapid Spin." Michelangelo said
"Oh no you don't, keep it still with Confusion." Ash said
"Lotad." Wizard said as he used Confusion
"Tor…koal." Torkoal strained as it couldn't move
"Now, Water Pulse." Ash said as Wizard hit Torkoal with Water Pulse before getting off its back
"Torkoal! Torkoal!" Torkoal said as it was confused
"Oh no!" Michelangelo gasped
"It's confused, now's our chance." Ash said
"LOTAD!" Wizard shouted as he glowed bluish white & evolved into Delta Lombre
Delta Lombre had yellow eyes, green skin with yellow claws, a gray mustache & beard along with wearing a blue wizard hat with a sash wrapped around & a blue & black robe with yellow lines
"Lombre!" Wizard said as Ash pulled out his Roto-Arc Phone
Delta Lombre, the Wizard Pokémon, a Psychic & Water Type, & the evolved form of Delta Lotad. From morning until night, it trains and practices its magic. During the evening it puts on magic shows for large crowds.

Learned Moves: Zen Headbutt & Whirlpool
"Awesome, Wizard, Let's finish this with Whirlpool." Ash said
"LOMBREEEEEEE!" Wizard said as summoned a big whirlpool before he launched it & hit Torkoal
"Torkoal!" Torkoal yelled in pain before fainting
"Torkoal has fallen, the victory goes to Wizard the Delta Lombre." Splinter declared
"Nice job, Wizard." Ash praised as he high-fived Wizard
"Lombre." Wizard smiled
"Aw man, I thought I had it in the bag." Michelangelo sulked
"You should never underestimate your opponent, my son, but you along with Torkoal, have done very well." Splinter said
"Thanks sensei." Michelangelo said
"Ash, choose your next opponent." Splinter said
"Okay, I'm gonna go with Raphael." Ash said
"Sweet." Raphael said as he stepped into the battlefield "Go Turtonator!"
Raphael sent out a Turtonator
"Nator!" Turtonator roared
"Ash, do you wish to change your selection?" Splinter said
"I do, Wizard return." Ash said as he returned Wizard "Go Phantom!"
Ash sent out Phantom the Delta Charmander
"Char!" Phantom said
"Battle Begin!" Splinter said
ASH VS RAPHAEL
"Phantom, use Shadow Sneak." Ash said. Phantom sunk into a shadow
"Turtonator, prepare Shell Trap." Raphael said
"Tur." Turtonator nodded
"I knew you were gonna do that, Confuse Ray." Ash smirked. Phantom came out of the shadow behind Turtonator while surrounded in purple balls of energy before firing them which hit it
"Turtonator." Turtonator said as it was confused
"It's confused, use Dragon Breath." Ash said
"Char!" Phantom said as he fired a blue beam of energy from his mouth & his Turtonator
"Now, use Smack Down." Ash said. Phantom fired an orange orb of energy from his mouth
"Shell Trap." Raphael said. Turtanator turned its back as its shell got hit before the spikes caused an explosion & hit Phantom
"Phantom!" Ash gasped
"Tor." Turtanator said as it snapped out of its confusion
"I admit you caught us off guard, good strategy by the way, but Turtonator & I dealt with confusion before & all it takes is patience." Raphael said "Now, use Dragon Claw!"
Turtonator hands became surrounded light green claw-shaped aura & hit Phantom
"Use Shadow Ball." Ash said as Phantom fired a black & purple shadowy ball from its hands & hit Turtonator
"Dragon Tail." Raphael said as Turtonator's tail became surrounded by green scale-patterned aura & swung it
"Dodge & use Icy Wind." Ash said as Phantom jumped & avoided the attack
"Charmander!" Phantom said as his the flame on his tail glowed light blue & swing it releasing a gust of wind with light blue sparkle in it which hit Turtonator
"Alright Turtonator, time to show them our special move, use Fireball!" Raphael said
"Turtonator!" Turtonator roared as it became surrounded in orange aura as orange fireballs appeared & circled around him. Then Turtonator launched the fireballs which melted through the Icy Wind & hit Phantom
"Char!" Phantom said as he was burned
"Phantom's burned?" Ash said shockingly
"That's right, Fireball is a Fire Type attack like Will-O-Wisp, but unlike Will-O-Wisp Fireballs can cause physical damage to the opponent before causing a burn." Raphael said
"Oh no, Phantom, use Twister." Ash said
"CHAAAAAAAAR!" Phantom yelled it spun & sent a tornado at Turtonator
"Use Rapid Spin while using Dragon Tail." Raphael said as Turtonator spun in its shell while using Dragon Tail which cut through the Twister & hit Phantom
"Char!" Phantom said as the burn made affect
"Let's finish this with Dragon Claw." Raphael said as Turtonator hit Phantom with Dragon Claw which caused him to faint
"Phantom the Delta Charmander has fallen, the victory goes to Turtonator." Splinter declared

"Donnie, why don't you go next, I'll go last." Leonardo offered
"Sweet, thanks Donnie." Donatello said as he went to the battlefield
"Select your Pokémon." Splinter said
"You're gonna love this one, Ash, Go Jitsu!" Donatello said
Donatello sent out a Wartortle named Jitsu, but this Wartortle looked similar to Delta Squirtle, but it's shell was dark red on top & black on the bottom along with black fingerless gloves & a red belt
"Wartortle!" Jitsu said
"A Delta Wartortle." Ash said as he pulled out his Roto-Arc Phone
Delta Wartortle, the Ninja Pokémon, a Dark & Fighting Type, & the evolved form of Delta Squirtle. Its tail splits to better conceal the back of its shell while it waits for foes. Its gloves help better channel its inner spirit energy.
"Delta Squirtle looks up to Jitsu in hopes to become strong like him." Donatello said
"Can't say I blame Delta Squirtle since its evolved form looks very amazing." Ash said "Crystal, I choose you!"
Ash sent out Crystal the Delta Bulbasaur.
"Bulba!" Crystal said
"Whoa, first a Delta Charmander, now a Delta Bulbasaur, you sure are lucky." Donatello said amazingly
"Thanks." Ash said
"Battle Begin!" Splinter said
ASH VS DONATELLO
"Crystal, let's start with Baby-Doll Eyes." Ash said
"Saur." Crystal said as her eyes were sparkling
"War." Jitsu said nervously
"Don't get your guard down, Jitsu, use Shadow Ball." Donatello said. Jitsu fired a black & purple shadowy ball from his hand
"Dodge, & use Fairy Wind." Ash said. Crystal dodged the attack as the gem on her bulb glowed pink & released a wind with pink energy
"Jitsu, use Double Team." Donatello said
"Wartortle." Jitsu said as he glowed white & created multiple copies of himself & avoided the attack
"Use Disarming Voice." Ash said
"Bulbaaaaaaaaaa!" Crystal said as she released a beam of pink soundwaves surrounded by hearts & musical notes from its mouth & hit Jitsu & his copies
"Sucker Punch." Donatello said, Jitsu fist glowed dark purple & punched Crystal at fast speed
"Use Baby-Doll Eye once more" Ash said
"Not this time, use Taunt." Donatello said.
"War." Jitsu smirked & waved tauntingly at Crystal
"Bulbasaur!" Crystal said angrily
"Crystal, calm down." Ash said
"Now, Dark Pulse." Donatello said as Jitsu said as he fired a beam of black & purple rings of energy from his hands
"Dodge it." Ash said as Crystal got hit "What?"
"Sorry Ash, but Taunt not only prevents the opponent from using status moves, it can also prevent the opponent from dodging due to its anger from the attack." Donatello said "Now, use Aura Sphere."
"War." Jitsu said as he charged up a sphere of blue aura in his aura
"Crap, I can't have Crystal dodge that attack since it's incapable of missing its target & I can't have her use Protect either due to Taunt, if only I can—." Ash thought "Wait, that's it."
"Tortle!" Jitsu said as he fired Aura Sphere
"Crystal, use Confusion on that Aura Sphere." Ash said
"Bulba." Crystal said as her eyes glowed violet & telekinetically stopped the attack in midair
"Now, send it right back." Ash said
"Saur!" Crystal said as she sent back the Aura Sphere & hit Jitsu
"Jitsu, use Drain Punch." Donatello said. Jitsu's fist became surrounded by a green orb of energy & punched Crystal, then sparkling green orbs of energy fly out of her & healed him
"Bulba." Crystal said calmly
"She's calmed down, now's our chance." Ash though before saying "Use Leech Seed.
Crystal fired several seeds from her mouth
"Deflect them with Blackwhip." Donatello said.
A black sphere appeared in Jitsu's hand which turned into a tendril, then Jitsu swung the tendrils & deflected the seeds back to Crystal which grew into vines & latched onto
"Bulbasaur!" Crystal struggled
"Crystal no!" Ash called out
"Now, use Shadow Ball." Donatello said as Jitsu hit Crystal with Shadow Ball & sent her flying out of the vine "Now, Blackwhip."
Jitsu grabbed Crystal with Blackwhip & slammed her on the ground a couple of times before swinging her around in the air
"Crystal, use Fairy Wind." Ash said as
"Bulbaaaaaaaaa!" Crystal said as she made a Fairy Wind twister which surrounded her & Jitsu
"Wartortle…" Jitsu strained as he held on & stood his ground
"Jitsu, use Dark Pulse." Donatello said as Jitsu fired Dark Pulse through the Blackwhip & hit Crystal
"Dazzling Gleam!" Ash said
"BULBASAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUR!" Crystal yelled as she becamesurrounded by a field of rainbow-colored energy, which expands outwards & caused an explosion
When the smoke cleared, both Pokémon had fainted
"Crystal the Delta Bulbasaur & Jitsu the Delta Wartortle have fallen, I declare this match a draw." Splinter said
"Are you alright, Crystal." Ash said as she picked up Crystal
"Did we win?" Crystal said
"No, it was a tie, but you were fantastic." Ash praised
"Aww, thank you." Crystal smiled as she licked his face which made him laugh
"Wartortle." Jitsu sighed
"Don't be discouraged, pal, you were great." Donatello said as he pet's Jitsu's head
"Squirtle." Delta Squirtle said as he approached them
"What did you think, Squirtle?" Donatello said
"Squirt!" Delta Squirtle smiled with a thumbs up
"War." Jitsu smiled
"Ash, really is something, isn't he?" Donatello said
"Squirtle…" Delta Squirtle said as he stared at Ash petting Crystal & was in awe at his battling skills
"Leonardo, are you ready to face Ash in battle." Splinter said
"Yes sensei." Leonardo said as he entered the battlefield "Go Wartortle!"
Leonardo sent out a regular Wartortle
"Wartortle." Wartortle said
"Crystal, return." Ash said as he returned Crystal "I hope you don't mind a little Deja Vu, Leo, Go Bulbasaur!"
Ash sent out his Bulbasaur
"Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur said
"Oh, that's quite an interesting Bulbasaur, I like its stripes." Leonardo complimented
"Thanks." Ash said
"Battle Begin!" Splinter said
ASH VS LEONARDO
"Bulbasaur, let's start with Growth." Ash said
"Saur." Bulbasaur said as he glowed light green
"Now, Seed Bomb." Ash said as Bulbasaur fired a glowing green seed from his bulb
"Wartortle, use Iron Defense." Leonardo said
"Wartortle." Wartortle said as he went into his shell which turned into a metallic color & got hit
"Use Poison Powder." Ash said as Bulbasaur released purple sparkling powder from his bulb
"Icy Wind." Leonardo said.
"Tortle!" Wartortle said as its mouth glowed light blue & released a gust of wind with light blue sparkle from it which hit Bulbasaur
"Energy Ball." Ash said. Bulbasaur fired a light green orb of energy from his mouth & hit Wartortle
"Use Skull Bash!/Take Down!" Ash & Leonardo said
Bulbasaur because surrounded by a golden forcefield as Wartortle became surrounded by silver aura before both clashed into each other & caused an explosion making them skid back
"Bulbasaur, use Magical Leaf." Ash said as Bulbasaur fired multiple light green glowing leaves from his bulb
"Wartortle, Rain Bullet!" Leonardo said
"War!" Wartortle said as it put his hands together before taking a deep breath & fired multiple blue water drop project from its mouth which broke through the Magical Leaf & hit Bulbasaur
"Now, use Water Pulse." Leonardo said as Wartortle as fired a blue orb of water from its hands
"Send it back with Vine Whip." Ash said as Bulbasaur released a green vine from his bulb & deflected Water Pulse with it
"Dodge & use Ice Beam." Leonardo said as Wartortle jumped into the air & avoided the attack before forming a ice blue orb of energy from its mouth
"No, you don't, grab its leg & slam it." Ash said
"Bulba." Bulbasaur said as he used Vine Whip to grab Wartortle's leg & slammed it to the ground forcing it to cancel out Ice Beam
"Now, use Sludge Bomb." Ash said as Bulbasaur fired multiple explosive sludge projectiles from his Bulbasaur
"Double Team." Leonardo said
"Wartortle." Wartortle glowed white & made multiple copies of itself & avoided the attack
"Use Magical Leaf." Ash said as Bulbasaur fired Magical Leaf
"Deflect with Rapid Spin." Leonardo said as Wartortle & its copies went into their shells & spun rapidly while deflecting the Magical Leaf which hit Bulbasaur
"That Wartortle, sure is strong, looks like we'll have to use our special technique to power up." Ash said "Bulbasaur, Energy Ball."
"Bulb." Bulbasaur said as he formed Energy Ball
"Swallow it." Ash said as Bulbasaur swallowed
"SAAAAAAAAAAAAAUR!" Bulbasaur yelled as his bulb & stripes became a shining light green
"Whoa, bros, are you seeing this?" Michelangelo said amazingly
"I had no idea a technique like that could be a thing." Donatello said in awe
"Now this just got interesting." Raphael said
"Squirtle…" Delta Squirtle said in awe & amazement
"Don't leave me out of all the fun, Wartortle, swallow your Water Pulse."
Leonardo said as Wartortle swallowed Water Pulse
"WARTORTLE!" Wartortle said as his tail glowed blue before coated in water which extended into water tendrils which waved around
"Ready?" Ash & Leonardo said
"Saur/Tortle." Both Pokémon nodded in determination
"Wartortle, use Aqua Tail." Leonardo said. Wartortle got down on all fours while pointing its tail towards Bulbasaur before extending the water tendrils
"Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip." Ash said. Bulbasaur released a few light green glowing vines which broke apart the tendrils before both Pokémon hit each other
"Use Rapid Spin." Leonardo said as Wartortle charged with Rapid Spin while surround in a ring of water
"Catch it." Ash said as Bulbasaur went on his hind legs & caught Wartortle's shell causing to skid back a little
"Now, Poison Powder."
"Saur!" Bulbasaur said as he released Poison Powder
"Tortle!" Wartortle winced as it was poisoned
"Solar Beam!" Ash said
"Bulba…" Bulbasaur said as his bulb glowed faint yellow with numerous yellow balls of energy surrounding it
"Aqua Ring." Leonardo said
"War!" Wartortle said as it became surround by big rings of water
"SAUR!" Bulbasaur said as he fired a yellow beam of energy from his bulb & hit Wartortle causing an explosion, when it cleared Wartortle was still standing
"It held on." Ash said surprisingly
"Hm, Refresh." Leonardo said
"Wartortle." Wartortle said as it became surrounded in green aura & healed its poisoned state
"Use Bullet Seed." Ash said as Bulbasaur fired multiple light green seeds from his bulb.
"Use Rain Bullet." Leonardo said as Wartortle fired Rain Bullet from the water tendrils which collided with Bullet Sed
"Energy Ball." Ash said as Bulbasaur fired Energy Ball
"Dodge, & use Water Pulse." Leonardo said as Wartortle dodged the attack & fired Water Pulse
"Now, mix it up with Ice Beam."
"Wartortle!" Wartortle said as it formed a light blue ball of energy from his mouth which fired a light blue beams of ice energy which surrounded the Water Pulse & hit Bulbasaur making frozen in a huge block of ice
"Bulbasaur!" Ash gasped
"You're in a tight spot, Ash, if you wanna admit defeat, we can stop." Leonardo said
"You're right." Ash said "Hey Bulbasaur, if you can hear me in there, we can throw in the towel if you want, if not then show them what we're capable of."
Bulbasaur snapped his eyes open & glowed bluish white while breaking out of the ice & evolved into Ivysaur
"Ivy!' Ivysaur said as Ash scanned him
Ability: Overgrow
Learned Moves: Grass Pledge & Petal Dance
"Grass Pledge, that's the Grass Type version of Fire Pledge, let's try that out." Ash said interestingly "Ivysaur, use Grass Pledge."
"Ivysaur!" Ivysaur said as he slammed his front leg on the ground causing pillars of green leaves & wind towards Wartortle before surrounding it & merged into a giant leaf pillar
"Wartortle!" Wartortle yelled in pain before fainting
"Wartortle has fallen, Ivysaur is the winner, since Ash has the most wins he is the victor." Splinter declared
"We did it, Ivysaur." Ash smiled
"Hell yeah, now I know what it's like to evolve." Ivysaur said happily
"I know, congratulations on being the first of the starters to evolve." Ash said as he pet Ivysaur's head
"Thanks." Ivysaur smiled
"Ash, those were exceptional battle you put up, we were impressed." Splinter said approvingly
"Thank you, Splinter." Ash said "I really liked those moves the turtle showed off, is it possible to have a few of my Pokémon learn those moves?"
"Sure, we don't mind." Leonardo smiled
"Yeah, absolutely, which Pokémon do you have in mind?" Donatello said
"These Pokémon." Ash said as he sent out Squirtle, Charmander, Phantom, Buizel, Wizard, Shadow, & Light the Delta Litwick.
"Whoa, those are wicked cool, bro." Michelangelo said
"Wait a minute, is that a Heartless?" Donatello said shockingly
"It is." Ash said
"It's been years since someone owned a Heartless, I assume you know about the legend?" Splinter said
"Yes sir." Ash said
"Then you need to be careful, because there are other people like the Foot who would want to use your power for themselves." Splinter said
"I will." Ash said before thinking "Besides, I am already a part of Team Rainbow Rocket's plan, so it doesn't make any difference."
"Come on, let's get some training done, man." Raphael said
In training, Wartortle was teaching Wizard, Squirtle, & Buizel how to learn Rain Bullet. Torkoal was teaching Phantom how to learn Smoke Bomb, Turtonator was teaching Charmander & Light how to learn Fireball, & Jitsu was teaching Shadow how to use Blackwhip. As for Ash, he was training with the turtles, he also learned how to improve his staff skills by Donatello along with the art of ninjutsu from Splinter. After training was done, Splinter had Ash do a spar match with the turtles
"Begin!" Splinter said
Michelangelo charged with his nunchucks & swung them at Ash, Ash dodged them one by one until he got a kick to the stomach which caused him to skid back. Michelangelo then charged at him, but Ash summoned his Eeveerstaff & squeezed the center which caused to extend its end & hit Michelangelo causing him to fall back
Then Donatello charged at Ash with his own staff & the two clashed each other repeatedly until Donatello did a low sweep of the staff under Ash's feet causing him to fall on his back. Donatello swung down his staff, but Ash rolled over to dodge before giving him a roundhouse kick
Raphael was the next to charge in with his Sais, Ash put away his Eeveerstaff & summoned his Sandslashers before clashing repeatedly with Raphael. They clashed once more & wrestled each other for a moment, then Ash threw out his arms with all his strength catching Raphael off guard before giving him a palm strike
Leonardo was the last to charge with one of his katanas & sent strikes at Ash with it which Ash dodged repeatedly. Then Leonardo thrust his Katana at him, but Ash summoned a Pikassen which the katana stabbed through, then he spun Pikassen & sent the katana out of Leonardo's hand into the air before Ash caught it. Leonardo pulled out his second katana & the two clashed with each other repeatedly. Then they jumped back at a distance before staring at each other intensely, then they charged at each other
"That's enough!" Splinter called out as Ash & Leonardo stopped
"How'd I do, Master Splinter?" Ash said
"You've done well, it seems that you really do know how to fight to defend yourself." Splinter said "I was impressed with the way got out of situations while fighting."
"Thank you, Master Splinter, I am honored." Ash bowed
"Squirtle! Squirtle!" Delta Squirtle said excitedly as he jumped on Ash's head
"Thanks Delta Squirtle, I'm glad you enjoyed our spar match along with the Pokémon Battles." Ash smiled as he
"I believe Delta Squirtle has something in mind." Splinter said
"What's that?" Ash said
"Come on, Ash, it's obvious Delta Squirtle wants to join your team." Leonardo smiled
"Really? Are you sure you want me to take him?" Ash said
"Of course, Delta Squirtle will always have a place here to call home, but he needs to go out in the world & grow." Splinter said
"He's right, Ash, plus he's getting very fond of you by the looks of things." Donatello said
"Hm." Ash said as he looked at Delta Squirtle "How about it, you wanna come along with me & the gang?"
"Squirtle!" Delta Squirtle said with a thumbs up
"Alright then, get ready." Ash said
"Squirtle." Delta Squirtle jumped off of Ash's head
"Now." Ash said as he pulled out a Poké Ball with a black top with a blue stripes on each side with red upside down obtuse triangles in them & a red exclamation symbol in the center with the dot part on the button "Go Trick Ball!"

"Shinobi. You have a way with nicknaming Pokémon." Splinter complimented "You children go wash up & head to bed, Ash needs some rest before the Contest."
"Yes sensei." The turtles said unison before leaving
"That means you as well, Ash." Splinter said
"Yes Master Splinter." Ash said as Splinter left
"Ash, the Lazulus Pendant is blinking." Riolu said
The Lazulus Pendant projected a turtle shell symbol

Delia was at the house doing chores until there was a knock at the door
"That must be Ash, I knew he would come crawling back, okay time play your part Delia." Delia smirked as she went to the door & opened it "Oh Ash, honey, I—."
But what Delia saw wasn't Ash, it was her husband Red
"You!" Delia said in disbelief
"Hi Delia." Red smiled
"What the hell are you doing here!?" Delia said angrily
"Well, aren't you glad to see me?" Red said
"Is that a rhetorical question? What do you want?" Delia said
"What do you mean what I want, I came all the way here to come back home to you & Ash." Red said "Is he here?"
"No, he's not, & you coming back here is out of the question." Delia said
"What? Honey, I get that you're angry that I was gone for so long, but—." Red said confusingly
"I don't care, you're not coming back into mine or Ash's life ever!" Delia argued
"But you can't do that, I'm his father." Red argued back
"The same father who walked out on him all because of a lousy Pokémon battle!" Delia argued back
"I know, I'm sorry, but please give me a chance." Red pleaded
"No! My word is final!" Delia barked as he slammed the door on his face
"What the hell was that all about? Is she really that mad that I left?" Red thought "Maybe, I can go see Professor Oak."
Red left the property as Delia peeked through the window & watched him leave
"That was a close one, otherwise he would have ruined my plan, luckily he has no idea." Delia thought before smirking "If he's going to Oak's, then I have a little present waiting for him
